Kniha proroka Ezechiela

1 (KAT) Pán prehovoril ku mne takto:
1 (VUL) Et factus est sermo Domini ad me dicens:

2 (KAT) „Syn človeka, obráť si tvár proti vrchu Seir a prorokuj proti nemu.

3 (KAT) Povedz mu: Toto hovorí Pán, Jahve: Hľa, som proti tebe, vrch Seir, vystriem proti tebe svoju ruku a urobím ťa pustým a opusteným.
3 (VUL) Haec dicit Dominus Deus: Ecce ego ad te, mons Seir; et extendam manum meam super te et dabo te desolatum atque desertum.
3 (UKJV) "And say unto it, Thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, O mount Seir, I am against you, and I will stretch out mine hand against you, and I will make you most desolate. "

4 (KAT) Z tvojich miest urobím zborenisko, ty však budeš spustnutý a budeš vedieť, že ja som Pán.

7 (KAT) Vrch Seir obrátim na púšť a vyhubím z neho, čo odchádza i prichádza.
7 (VUL) Et dabo montem Seir desolatum atque desertum et auferam de eo euntem et redeuntem
7 (UKJV) Thus will I make mount Seir most desolate, and cut off from it him that passes out and him that returns.

8 (KAT) Jeho vrchy naplním prebodnutými: na tvojich kopcoch, v tvojich údoliach i vo všetkých tvojich riečiskách budú padať prebodnutí mečom.
8 (VUL) et implebo montes eius occisorum suorum, in collibus tuis et in vallibus tuis, atque in omnibus torrentibus tuis interfecti gladio cadent.

9 (KAT) Večnou pustatinou ťa urobím a tvoje mestá nebudú obývané; i budete vedieť, že ja som Pán.
9 (VUL) In solitudines sempiternas tradam te, et civitates tuae non habitabuntur, et scietis quoniam ego Dominus.
9 (UKJV) I will make you perpetual desolations, and your cities shall not return: and all of you shall know that I am the LORD.

10 (KAT) Pretože si povedal: »Oba národy a obe krajiny budú moje, opanujem ich,« hoci tam bol Pán,
10 (VUL) Eo quod dixeris: “Duae gentes et duae terrae meae erunt, et hereditate possidebo eas!”, cum Dominus esset ibi;

11 (KAT) preto, ako žijem, hovorí Pán, Jahve, urobím podľa tvojho hnevu a podľa tvojej žiarlivosti, akou si vo svojej nenávisti nakladal s nimi, a dám sa im poznať, keď ťa budem súdiť.
11 (VUL) propterea, vivo ego, dicit Dominus Deus, faciam iuxta iram tuam et secundum zelum tuum, quem fecisti odio habens eos, et notus efficiar in eis, cum te iudicavero.
11 (UKJV) "Therefore, as I live, says the Lord GOD, I will even do according to your anger, and according to your envy which you have used out of your hatred against them; and I will make myself known among them, when I have judged you. "

12 (KAT) Budeš teda vedieť, že ja som Pán. Počul som všetky tvoje rúhania, ktoré si vyriekol proti vrchom Izraela: »Pusté sú, nám sa dostali za pokrm.«

13 (KAT) A svojimi ústami ste sa vyvyšovali nado mňa, kopili ste proti mne svoje reči, ja som to počul.
13 (VUL) Et insurrexistis super me ore vestro et vociferati estis vobis adversum me verba vestra; ego audivi.
13 (UKJV) Thus with your mouth all of you have boasted against me, and have multiplied your words against me: I have heard them.

14 (KAT) Toto hovorí Pán, Jahve: Keď sa bude radovať celá zem, teba urobím pustatinou.
14 (VUL) Haec dicit Dominus Deus: Laetante universa terra, in solitudinem te redigam;
14 (UKJV) "Thus says the Lord GOD; When the whole earth rejoices, I will make you desolate. "

15 (KAT) Ako si sa radoval nad dedičstvom Izraelovho domu, lebo bol pustý, tak naložím s tebou; budeš pustý, vrch Seir a celý Edom; i budú vedieť, že ja som Pán.
15 (VUL) sicuti gavisus es super hereditatem domus Israel, eo quod fuerit dissipata, sic faciam tibi: dissipatus eris, mons Seir, et Idumaea omnis, et scient quia ego Dominus.
15 (UKJV) As you did rejoice at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so will I do unto you: you shall be desolate, O mount Seir, and all Idumea, even all of it: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
