Kniha proroka Ezechiela

1 (HEM) ויהי דבר יהוה אלי לאמר׃
1 (UKJV) Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

2 (HEM) בן אדם שים פניך על הר שעיר והנבא עליו׃
2 (UKJV) Son of man, set your face against mount Seir, and prophesy against it,

3 (HEM) ואמרת לו כה אמר אדני יהוה הנני אליך הר שעיר ונטיתי ידי עליך ונתתיך שממה ומשמה׃
3 (UKJV) "And say unto it, Thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, O mount Seir, I am against you, and I will stretch out mine hand against you, and I will make you most desolate. "

4 (HEM) עריך חרבה אשים ואתה שממה תהיה וידעת כי אני יהוה׃
4 (UKJV) I will lay your cities waste, and you shall be desolate, and you shall know that I am the LORD.

5 (HEM) יען היות לך איבת עולם ותגר את בני ישראל על ידי חרב בעת אידם בעת עון קץ׃
5 (UKJV) Because you have had a perpetual hatred, and have shed the blood of the children of Israel by the force of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time that their iniquity had an end:

6 (HEM) לכן חי אני נאם אדני יהוה כי לדם אעשך ודם ירדפך אם לא דם שנאת ודם ירדפך׃
6 (UKJV) Therefore, as I live, says the Lord GOD, I will prepare you unto blood, and blood shall pursue you: since you have not hated blood, even blood shall pursue you.

7 (HEM) ונתתי את הר שעיר לשממה ושממה והכרתי ממנו עבר ושב׃
7 (UKJV) Thus will I make mount Seir most desolate, and cut off from it him that passes out and him that returns.

8 (HEM) ומלאתי את הריו חלליו גבעותיך וגיאותיך וכל אפיקיך חללי חרב יפלו בהם׃
8 (UKJV) And I will fill his mountains with his slain men: in your hills, and in your valleys, and in all your rivers, shall they fall that are slain with the sword.

9 (HEM) שממות עולם אתנך ועריך לא תישבנה וידעתם כי אני יהוה׃
9 (UKJV) I will make you perpetual desolations, and your cities shall not return: and all of you shall know that I am the LORD.

10 (HEM) יען אמרך את שני הגוים ואת שתי הארצות לי תהיינה וירשנוה ויהוה שם היה׃
10 (UKJV) "Because you have said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas the LORD was there: "

11 (HEM) לכן חי אני נאם אדני יהוה ועשיתי כאפך וכקנאתך אשר עשיתה משנאתיך בם ונודעתי בם כאשר אשפטך׃
11 (UKJV) "Therefore, as I live, says the Lord GOD, I will even do according to your anger, and according to your envy which you have used out of your hatred against them; and I will make myself known among them, when I have judged you. "

12 (HEM) וידעת כי אני יהוה שמעתי את כל נאצותיך אשר אמרת על הרי ישראל לאמר שממה לנו נתנו לאכלה׃
12 (UKJV) And you shall know that I am the LORD, and that I have heard all your blasphemies which you have spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to consume.

13 (HEM) ותגדילו עלי בפיכם והעתרתם עלי דבריכם אני שמעתי׃
13 (UKJV) Thus with your mouth all of you have boasted against me, and have multiplied your words against me: I have heard them.

14 (HEM) כה אמר אדני יהוה כשמח כל הארץ שממה אעשה לך׃
14 (UKJV) "Thus says the Lord GOD; When the whole earth rejoices, I will make you desolate. "

15 (HEM) כשמחתך לנחלת בית ישראל על אשר שממה כן אעשה לך שממה תהיה הר שעיר וכל אדום כלה וידעו כי אני יהוה׃
15 (UKJV) As you did rejoice at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so will I do unto you: you shall be desolate, O mount Seir, and all Idumea, even all of it: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
