1 (HEM) ויהי בשתי עשרה שנה בשני עשר חדש באחד לחדש היה דבר יהוה אלי לאמר׃
1 (UKJV) And it came to pass in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, in the first day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

2 (HEM) בן אדם שא קינה על פרעה מלך מצרים ואמרת אליו כפיר גוים נדמית ואתה כתנים בימים ותגח בנהרותיך ותדלח מים ברגליך ותרפס נהרותם׃
2 (UKJV) Son of man, take up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say unto him, You are like a young lion of the nations, and you are as a whale in the seas: and you came forth with your rivers, and troubled the waters with your feet, and fouled their rivers.

3 (HEM) כה אמר אדני יהוה ופרשתי עליך את רשתי בקהל עמים רבים והעלוך בחרמי׃
3 (UKJV) "Thus says the Lord GOD; I will therefore spread out my net over you with a company of many people; and they shall bring you up in my net. "

4 (HEM) ונטשתיך בארץ על פני השדה אטילך והשכנתי עליך כל עוף השמים והשבעתי ממך חית כל הארץ׃
4 (UKJV) Then will I leave you upon the land, I will cast you forth upon the open field, and will cause all the fowls of the heaven to remain upon you, and I will fill the beasts of the whole earth with you.

5 (HEM) ונתתי את בשרך על ההרים ומלאתי הגאיות רמותך׃
5 (UKJV) And I will lay your flesh upon the mountains, and fill the valleys with your height.

6 (HEM) והשקיתי ארץ צפתך מדמך אל ההרים ואפקים ימלאון ממך׃
6 (UKJV) "I will also water with your blood the land wherein you swim, even to the mountains; and the rivers shall be full of you. "

7 (HEM) וכסיתי בכבותך שמים והקדרתי את ככביהם שמש בענן אכסנו וירח לא יאיר אורו׃
7 (UKJV) "And when I shall put you out, I will cover the heaven, and make the stars thereof dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give her light. "

8 (HEM) כל מאורי אור בשמים אקדירם עליך ונתתי חשך על ארצך נאם אדני יהוה׃
8 (UKJV) All the bright lights of heaven will I make dark over you, and set darkness upon your land, says the Lord GOD.

9 (HEM) והכעסתי לב עמים רבים בהביאי שברך בגוים על ארצות אשר לא ידעתם׃
9 (UKJV) I will also vex the hearts of many people, when I shall bring your destruction among the nations, into the countries which you have not known.

10 (HEM) והשמותי עליך עמים רבים ומלכיהם ישערו עליך שער בעופפי חרבי על פניהם וחרדו לרגעים איש לנפשו ביום מפלתך׃
10 (UKJV) "Yea, I will make many people amazed at you, and their kings shall be horribly afraid for you, when I shall brandish my sword before them; and they shall tremble at every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of your fall. "

11 (HEM) כי כה אמר אדני יהוה חרב מלך בבל תבואך׃
11 (UKJV) "For thus says the Lord GOD; The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon you. "

12 (HEM) בחרבות גבורים אפיל המונך עריצי גוים כלם ושדדו את גאון מצרים ונשמד כל המונה׃
12 (UKJV) By the swords of the mighty will I cause your multitude to fall, the terrible of the nations, all of them: and they shall spoil the pomp of Egypt, and all the multitude thereof shall be destroyed.

13 (HEM) והאבדתי את כל בהמתה מעל מים רבים ולא תדלחם רגל אדם עוד ופרסות בהמה לא תדלחם׃
13 (UKJV) "I will destroy also all the beasts thereof from beside the great waters; neither shall the foot of man trouble them any more, nor the hoofs of beasts trouble them. "

14 (HEM) אז אשקיע מימיהם ונהרותם כשמן אוליך נאם אדני יהוה׃
14 (UKJV) Then will I make their waters deep, and cause their rivers to run like oil, says the Lord GOD.

15 (HEM) בתתי את ארץ מצרים שממה ונשמה ארץ ממלאה בהכותי את כל יושבי בה וידעו כי אני יהוה׃
15 (UKJV) When I shall make the land of Egypt desolate, and the country shall be destitute of that whereof it was full, when I shall strike all them that dwell therein, then shall they know that I am the LORD.

16 (HEM) קינה היא וקוננוה בנות הגוים תקוננה אותה על מצרים ועל כל המונה תקוננה אותה נאם אדני יהוה׃
16 (UKJV) This is the lamentation wherewith they shall lament her: the daughters of the nations shall lament her: they shall lament for her, even for Egypt, and for all her multitude, says the Lord GOD.

17 (HEM) ויהי בשתי עשרה שנה בחמשה עשר לחדש היה דבר יהוה אלי לאמר׃
17 (UKJV) It came to pass also in the twelfth year, in the fifteenth day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

18 (HEM) בן אדם נהה על המון מצרים והורדהו אותה ובנות גוים אדרם אל ארץ תחתיות את יורדי בור׃
18 (UKJV) Son of man, wail for the multitude of Egypt, and cast them down, even her, and the daughters of the famous nations, unto the nether parts of the earth, with them that go down into the pit.

19 (HEM) ממי נעמת רדה והשכבה את ערלים׃
19 (UKJV) Whom do you pass in beauty? go down, and be you laid with the uncircumcised.

20 (HEM) בתוך חללי חרב יפלו חרב נתנה משכו אותה וכל המוניה׃
20 (UKJV) They shall fall in the midst of them that are slain by the sword: she is delivered to the sword: draw her and all her multitudes.

21 (HEM) ידברו לו אלי גבורים מתוך שאול את עזריו ירדו שכבו הערלים חללי חרב׃
21 (UKJV) The strong among the mighty shall speak to him out of the midst of hell with them that help him: they are gone down, they lie uncircumcised, slain by the sword.

22 (HEM) שם אשור וכל קהלה סביבותיו קברתיו כלם חללים הנפלים בחרב׃
22 (UKJV) Asshur is there and all her company: his graves are about him: all of them slain, fallen by the sword:

23 (HEM) אשר נתנו קברתיה בירכתי בור ויהי קהלה סביבות קברתה כלם חללים נפלים בחרב אשר נתנו חתית בארץ חיים׃
23 (UKJV) Whose graves are set in the sides of the pit, and her company is round about her grave: all of them slain, fallen by the sword, which caused terror in the land of the living.

24 (HEM) שם עילם וכל המונה סביבות קברתה כלם חללים הנפלים בחרב אשר ירדו ערלים אל ארץ תחתיות אשר נתנו חתיתם בארץ חיים וישאו כלמתם את יורדי בור׃
24 (UKJV) "There is Elam and all her multitude round about her grave, all of them slain, fallen by the sword, which are gone down uncircumcised into the nether parts of the earth, which caused their terror in the land of the living; yet have they borne their shame with them that go down to the pit. "

25 (HEM) בתוך חללים נתנו משכב לה בכל המונה סביבותיו קברתה כלם ערלים חללי חרב כי נתן חתיתם בארץ חיים וישאו כלמתם את יורדי בור בתוך חללים נתן׃
25 (UKJV) They have set her a bed in the midst of the slain with all her multitude: her graves are round about him: all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword: though their terror was caused in the land of the living, yet have they borne their shame with them that go down to the pit: he is put in the midst of them that be slain.

26 (HEM) שם משך תבל וכל המונה סביבותיו קברותיה כלם ערלים מחללי חרב כי נתנו חתיתם בארץ חיים׃
26 (UKJV) There is Meshech, Tubal, and all her multitude: her graves are round about him: all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword, though they caused their terror in the land of the living.

27 (HEM) ולא ישכבו את גבורים נפלים מערלים אשר ירדו שאול בכלי מלחמתם ויתנו את חרבותם תחת ראשיהם ותהי עונתם על עצמותם כי חתית גבורים בארץ חיים׃
27 (UKJV) And they shall not lie with the mighty that are fallen of the uncircumcised, which are gone down to hell with their weapons of war: and they have laid their swords under their heads, but their iniquities shall be upon their bones, though they were the terror of the mighty in the land of the living.

28 (HEM) ואתה בתוך ערלים תשבר ותשכב את חללי חרב׃
28 (UKJV) Yea, you shall be broken in the midst of the uncircumcised, and shall lie with them that are slain with the sword.

29 (HEM) שמה אדום מלכיה וכל נשיאיה אשר נתנו בגבורתם את חללי חרב המה את ערלים ישכבו ואת ירדי בור׃
29 (UKJV) There is Edom, her kings, and all her princes, which with their might are laid by them that were slain by the sword: they shall lie with the uncircumcised, and with them that go down to the pit.

30 (HEM) שמה נסיכי צפון כלם וכל צדני אשר ירדו את חללים בחתיתם מגבורתם בושים וישכבו ערלים את חללי חרב וישאו כלמתם את יורדי בור׃
30 (UKJV) "There be the princes of the north, all of them, and all the Zidonians, which are gone down with the slain; with their terror they are ashamed of their might; and they lie uncircumcised with them that be slain by the sword, and bear their shame with them that go down to the pit. "

31 (HEM) אותם יראה פרעה ונחם על כל המונה חללי חרב פרעה וכל חילו נאם אדני יהוה׃
31 (UKJV) Pharaoh shall see them, and shall be comforted over all his multitude, even Pharaoh and all his army slain by the sword, says the Lord GOD.

32 (HEM) כי נתתי את חתיתו בארץ חיים והשכב בתוך ערלים את חללי חרב פרעה וכל המונה נאם אדני יהוה׃
32 (UKJV) For I have caused my terror in the land of the living: and he shall be laid in the midst of the uncircumcised with them that are slain with the sword, even Pharaoh and all his multitude, says the Lord GOD.
