1 (KJV) And it came to pass in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, in the first day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
1 (KAT) V dvanástom roku, dvanásty mesiac, prvý deň mesiaca, prehovoril Pán ku mne takto:
2 (KJV) Son of man, take up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say unto him, Thou art like a young lion of the nations, and thou art as a whale in the seas: and thou camest forth with thy rivers, and troubledst the waters with thy feet, and fouledst their rivers.
2 (KAT) „Syn človeka, začni žalospev o faraónovi, kráľovi Egypta, a povedz mu: Levíča národov, zhynul si. Býval si ako morský krokodíl, brázdil si svoje rieky, nohami si vodu mútieval, brodil si v ich riekach.
3 (KJV) Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will therefore spread out my net over thee with a company of many people; and they shall bring thee up in my net.
3 (KAT) Toto hovorí Pán, Jahve: Rozostriem na teba svoju sieť v zástupe početných národov a svojou sieťou ťa vytiahnem,
4 (KJV) Then will I leave thee upon the land, I will cast thee forth upon the open field, and will cause all the fowls of the heaven to remain upon thee, and I will fill the beasts of the whole earth with thee.
4 (KAT) na zem ťa vyhodím, šmarím ťa na pole, nebeským vtáčatám dám bývať na tebe a tebou nasýtim zver celého sveta.
5 (KJV) And I will lay thy flesh upon the mountains, and fill the valleys with thy height.
5 (KAT) Telo ti na vrch pohodím a tvojou mŕtvolou zaplním doliny.
6 (KJV) I will also water with thy blood the land wherein thou swimmest, even to the mountains; and the rivers shall be full of thee.
6 (KAT) Zem napojím tvojím výtokom - tvojou krvou - až po vrchy, riečištia sa z teba zaplnia.
7 (KJV) And when I shall put thee out, I will cover the heaven, and make the stars thereof dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give her light.
7 (KAT) Keď zhasneš, zahalím nebesá, ich hviezdy zatemním, slnko zahalím oblakmi a mesiac nevydá svetlo.
8 (KJV) All the bright lights of heaven will I make dark over thee, and set darkness upon thy land, saith the Lord GOD.
8 (KAT) A všetky svietidlá na nebi zatemním pre teba, na tvoju zem však dopustím tmu - hovorí Pán, Jahve.
9 (KJV) I will also vex the hearts of many people, when I shall bring thy destruction among the nations, into the countries which thou hast not known.
9 (KAT) I popudím srdce mnohých národov, keď zavediem tvojich zajatcov medzi národy, do krajín, ktoré nepoznáš.
10 (KJV) Yea, I will make many people amazed at thee, and their kings shall be horribly afraid for thee, when I shall brandish my sword before them; and they shall tremble at every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of thy fall.
10 (KAT) A podesím pre teba mnohé národy, ich králi sa strašne zhrozia pre teba, keď budem mihať svojím mečom pred ich tvárami; v deň tvojho pádu sa bude každý razom chvieť o svoj život.
11 (KJV) For thus saith the Lord GOD; The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon thee.
11 (KAT) Lebo toto hovorí Pán, Jahve: Meč babylonského kráľa príde na teba.
12 (KJV) By the swords of the mighty will I cause thy multitude to fall, the terrible of the nations, all of them: and they shall spoil the pomp of Egypt, and all the multitude thereof shall be destroyed.
12 (KAT) Mečmi silákov porazím tvoj zástup; sú to všetko najsilnejšie národy, nuž znivočia pýchu Egypta a vyhynie celý jeho zástup.
13 (KJV) I will destroy also all the beasts thereof from beside the great waters; neither shall the foot of man trouble them any more, nor the hoofs of beasts trouble them.
13 (KAT) Aj všetky jeho zvieratá vyhubím z početných vôd, takže ich ľudská noha viac nepomúti, ani paprčky zvierat ich nerozbúria.
14 (KJV) Then will I make their waters deep, and cause their rivers to run like oil, saith the Lord GOD.
14 (KAT) Vtedy dám ich vodám ustáť sa a ich riekam dám tiecť ako oleju, hovorí Pán, Jahve.
15 (KJV) When I shall make the land of Egypt desolate, and the country shall be destitute of that whereof it was full, when I shall smite all them that dwell therein, then shall they know that I am the LORD.
15 (KAT) Keď urobím egyptskú krajinu pustou a zem bude prázdna, bez svojej náplne, keď porazím všetkých, čo v nej bývajú, vtedy budú vedieť, že ja som Pán.
16 (KJV) This is the lamentation wherewith they shall lament her: the daughters of the nations shall lament her: they shall lament for her, even for Egypt, and for all her multitude, saith the Lord GOD.
16 (KAT) Toto je žalospev, nech ho spievajú; dcéry národov ho majú spievať; nad Egyptom a nad celým jeho zástupom ho majú spievať,“ hovorí Pán, Jahve.
17 (KJV) It came to pass also in the twelfth year, in the fifteenth day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
17 (KAT) V dvanástom roku, v prvom mesiaci, pätnásty deň mesiaca, prehovoril Pán ku mne takto:
18 (KJV) Son of man, wail for the multitude of Egypt, and cast them down, even her, and the daughters of the famous nations, unto the nether parts of the earth, with them that go down into the pit.
18 (KAT) „Syn človeka, kvíľ nad zástupom Egypta a strhni ho - jeho a dcéry mocných národov - do podzemia s tými, čo zostúpili do jamy.
19 (KJV) Whom dost thou pass in beauty? go down, and be thou laid with the uncircumcised.
19 (KAT) Od koho si krajší? Zostúp a daj sa uložiť s neobrezanými!
20 (KJV) They shall fall in the midst of them that are slain by the sword: she is delivered to the sword: draw her and all her multitudes.
20 (KAT) Padnú medzi tých, ktorých prebodol meč. Meč je pripravený. Pritiahni ho i celý jeho zástup.
21 (KJV) The strong among the mighty shall speak to him out of the midst of hell with them that help him: they are gone down, they lie uncircumcised, slain by the sword.
21 (KAT) Najmocnejší z hrdinov i s jeho pomocníkmi budú k nemu hovoriť zo stredu podsvetia. Zostúpili, ležia neobrezaní, prebodnutí mečom.
22 (KJV) Asshur is there and all her company: his graves are about him: all of them slain, fallen by the sword:
22 (KAT) Tam je Asýr a celé jeho zhromaždenie, jeho hroby sú vôkol neho. To všetko sú prebodnutí, padli pod mečom,
23 (KJV) Whose graves are set in the sides of the pit, and her company is round about her grave: all of them slain, fallen by the sword, which caused terror in the land of the living.
23 (KAT) a dali im hrob na dne jamy; jeho zástup je však okolo jeho hrobu. Prebodnutí sú, padli pod mečom všetci, ktorí v krajine živých šírili strach.
24 (KJV) There is Elam and all her multitude round about her grave, all of them slain, fallen by the sword, which are gone down uncircumcised into the nether parts of the earth, which caused their terror in the land of the living; yet have they borne their shame with them that go down to the pit.
24 (KAT) Tam je Elam a celý jeho zástup je okolo jeho hrobu. Prebodnutí sú, padli pod mečom všetci, čo zostúpili do podsvetia neobrezaní, čo v krajine živých šírili strach. Nuž nesú svoju potupu s tými, čo zostúpili do jamy.
25 (KJV) They have set her a bed in the midst of the slain with all her multitude: her graves are round about him: all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword: though their terror was caused in the land of the living, yet have they borne their shame with them that go down to the pit: he is put in the midst of them that be slain.
25 (KAT) Uprostred prebodnutých mu dali lôžko s celým jeho zástupom, jeho hroby sú vôkol neho, všetci sú neobrezaní, prebodnutí mečom, pretože sa z nich šíril strach v krajine živých; nesú teda svoju potupu s tými, čo zostúpili do jamy, sú položení uprostred prebodnutých.
26 (KJV) There is Meshech, Tubal, and all her multitude: her graves are round about him: all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword, though they caused their terror in the land of the living.
26 (KAT) Tam je Mosoch a Tubal a celý jeho zástup, jeho hroby sú vôkol neho, všetci sú neobrezaní, prebodnutí mečom, pretože šírili strach v krajine živých.
27 (KJV) And they shall not lie with the mighty that are fallen of the uncircumcised, which are gone down to hell with their weapons of war: and they have laid their swords under their heads, but their iniquities shall be upon their bones, though they were the terror of the mighty in the land of the living.
27 (KAT) A neležia s hrdinami, ktorí padli odpradávna, ktorí zostúpili do podsvetia s celým svojím vojenským výstrojom a ktorí si meče položili pod hlavy. Ale ich zločin je na ich kostiach, pretože boli postrachom hrdinov v krajine živých.
28 (KJV) Yea, thou shalt be broken in the midst of the uncircumcised, and shalt lie with them that are slain with the sword.
28 (KAT) Nuž aj ty budeš zdrvený medzi neobrezanými a budeš ležať s tými, ktorých prebodol meč.
29 (KJV) There is Edom, her kings, and all her princes, which with their might are laid by them that were slain by the sword: they shall lie with the uncircumcised, and with them that go down to the pit.
29 (KAT) Tam je Edom, jeho králi a všetky jeho kniežatá, ktorých s ich hrdinstvom dali dovedna s prebodnutými mečom; ležia s neobrezanými a s tými, čo zostúpili do jamy.
30 (KJV) There be the princes of the north, all of them, and all the Zidonians, which are gone down with the slain; with their terror they are ashamed of their might; and they lie uncircumcised with them that be slain by the sword, and bear their shame with them that go down to the pit.
30 (KAT) Tam sú všetci vládcovia severu a všetci Sidonci, ktorí zahanbení zostúpili s prebodnutými i napriek strachu z ich hrdinstva. I ležia neobrezaní s tými, ktorých prebodol meč, a nesú svoju potupu s tými, čo zostúpili do jamy.
31 (KJV) Pharaoh shall see them, and shall be comforted over all his multitude, even Pharaoh and all his army slain by the sword, saith the Lord GOD.
31 (KAT) Týchto uvidí faraón a poteší sa i celé jeho vojsko; faraóna a celý jeho zástup prebodnú mečom - hovorí Pán, Jahve.
32 (KJV) For I have caused my terror in the land of the living: and he shall be laid in the midst of the uncircumcised with them that are slain with the sword, even Pharaoh and all his multitude, saith the Lord GOD.
32 (KAT) Pretože šíril strach v krajine živých, položia ho - faraóna a celý jeho zástup - uprostred neobrezaných s tými, ktorých prebodol meč.“

Son of man, take up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say unto him, Thou art like a young lion of the nations, and thou art as a whale in the seas: and thou camest forth with thy rivers, and troubledst the waters with thy feet, and fouledst their rivers.
Ez 29:3 - Speak, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great dragon that lieth in the midst of his rivers, which hath said, My river is mine own, and I have made it for myself.

Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will therefore spread out my net over thee with a company of many people; and they shall bring thee up in my net.
Ez 12:13 - My net also will I spread upon him, and he shall be taken in my snare: and I will bring him to Babylon to the land of the Chaldeans; yet shall he not see it, though he shall die there.
Ez 17:20 - And I will spread my net upon him, and he shall be taken in my snare, and I will bring him to Babylon, and will plead with him there for his trespass that he hath trespassed against me.
Verš 12
By the swords of the mighty will I cause thy multitude to fall, the terrible of the nations, all of them: and they shall spoil the pomp of Egypt, and all the multitude thereof shall be destroyed.
Ez 28:7 - Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness.
Ez 31:12 - And strangers, the terrible of the nations, have cut him off, and have left him: upon the mountains and in all the valleys his branches are fallen, and his boughs are broken by all the rivers of the land; and all the people of the earth are gone down from his shadow, and have left him.
Ez 32:16 - This is the lamentation wherewith they shall lament her: the daughters of the nations shall lament her: they shall lament for her, even for Egypt, and for all her multitude, saith the Lord GOD.
Ez 31:2 - Son of man, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, and to his multitude; Whom art thou like in thy greatness?
Ez 31:18 - To whom art thou thus like in glory and in greatness among the trees of Eden? yet shalt thou be brought down with the trees of Eden unto the nether parts of the earth: thou shalt lie in the midst of the uncircumcised with them that be slain by the sword. This is Pharaoh and all his multitude, saith the Lord GOD.

And when I shall put thee out, I will cover the heaven, and make the stars thereof dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give her light.
Iz 13:10 - For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.
Joe 2:31 - The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.
Ez 32,2 - Ku krokodílovi pozri pozn. k 29,3. – Egypt, krokodíl, bezstarostne sa zabáva.
Ez 32,5 - Porov. 31,12–13.
Ez 32,9 - "Zajatcov" prekladáme so LXX. Hebr a Vulg číta: tvoju zlomeninu.
Ez 32,17 - Slovo "prvý mesiac" dopĺňame podľa LXX.
Ez 32,18 - Porov. 28,10.
Ez 32,19-21 - Zmysel týchto nejasných veršov je: faraón nie je o nič lepší než tí, čo sú už na druhom svete. Už je prichystaný meč, ktorý i jeho pošle do podsvetia, kde jeho i celý jeho národ pritiahnu a posmešne budú vítať tí, čo už tam sú; budú medzi nimi aj hrdinské národy, ba aj spojenci Egypta.
Ez 32,24 - O Elame pozri Iz 11,11; porov. Jer 25,25; 49,34–39.
Ez 32,26 - Tubal a Mosoch pozri 27,13.
Ez 32,27 - "Odpradávna" prekladáme so LXX. Hebr a Vulg číta "z neobrezaných". Pradávnych hrdinov pochovali s vojenskou výzbrojou, čo u každého národa bolo čestné. Národy však, ktoré tu vypočítava prorok, páchali zločin násilia, preto aj v podsvetí budú potupené.
Ez 32,31 - Faraón a vojsko, ktoré ho bude sprevádzať do podsvetia, sa poteší, že on a jeho národ, ktorí tiež prebodnutí mečom zostupujú do podsvetia, nie sú tam sami, ale že tam našli už iné veľké národy.
