Kniha proroka Ezechiela

1 (KJV) The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,
1 (KAT) Pán prehovoril ku mne takto:

2 (KJV) Son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Howl ye, Woe worth the day
2 (KAT) „Syn človeka, prorokuj a povedz: Toto hovorí Pán: Kvíľte! Ach, ach, to je deň!

3 (KJV) For the day is near, even the day of the LORD is near, a cloudy day; it shall be the time of the heathen.
3 (KAT) Veď je blízo deň, áno, blízo je deň Pána, deň to oblačný, bude to čas národov.

4 (KJV) And the sword shall come upon Egypt, and great pain shall be in Ethiopia, when the slain shall fall in Egypt, and they shall take away her multitude, and her foundations shall be broken down.

6 (KJV) Thus saith the LORD; They also that uphold Egypt shall fall; and the pride of her power shall come down: from the tower of Syene shall they fall in it by the sword, saith the Lord GOD.
6 (KAT) Toto hovorí Pán: Padnú, čo sa opierajú o Egypt, klesne totiž jeho pyšná moc, od Magdoly až po Syene zrútia sa v ňom pod mečom - hovorí Pán, Jahve.

7 (KJV) And they shall be desolate in the midst of the countries that are desolate, and her cities shall be in the midst of the cities that are wasted.
7 (KAT) Spustnutí budú uprostred spustnutých krajín a jeho mestá budú opustené uprostred opustených miest.

8 (KJV) And they shall know that I am the LORD, when I have set a fire in Egypt, and when all her helpers shall be destroyed.

9 (KAT) V ten deň vyjdú odo mňa posli na člnoch, aby podesili bezpečnosť Etiópie; a bude u nich zdesenie ako v deň Egypta, lebo veru to príde.

10 (KJV) Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also make the multitude of Egypt to cease by the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon.
10 (KAT) Toto hovorí Pán, Jahve: Prostredníctvom babylonského kráľa Nabuchodonozora urobím koniec zástupu Egypta.

11 (KJV) He and his people with him, the terrible of the nations, shall be brought to destroy the land: and they shall draw their swords against Egypt, and fill the land with the slain.
11 (KAT) On a jeho ľud s ním - najväčší násilníci národov - budú privedení znivočiť krajinu, vytasia svoje meče proti Egyptu a naplnia krajinu ranenými.

12 (KJV) And I will make the rivers dry, and sell the land into the hand of the wicked: and I will make the land waste, and all that is therein, by the hand of strangers: I the LORD have spoken it.
12 (KAT) Vtedy z riek urobím suchú zem; krajinu vydám do ruky zločincov a prostredníctvom cudzincov znivočím krajinu a všetko, čo je v nej; ja, Pán, som hovoril.

13 (KJV) Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also destroy the idols, and I will cause their images to cease out of Noph; and there shall be no more a prince of the land of Egypt: and I will put a fear in the land of Egypt.
13 (KAT) Toto hovorí Pán, Jahve: Vyhubím sochy a vyničím modly z Memfisu, nebude viac kniežaťa z egyptskej krajiny, v egyptskej krajine rozšírim strach.

14 (KJV) And I will make Pathros desolate, and will set fire in Zoan, and will execute judgments in No.
14 (KAT) Spustoším Patros, v Tanise podložím oheň a v Tébach zavediem súdy.

15 (KJV) And I will pour my fury upon Sin, the strength of Egypt; and I will cut off the multitude of No.
15 (KAT) Vylejem svoj hnev na Pelusium, pevnosť Egypta, a vyhubím zástup Téb.

16 (KJV) And I will set fire in Egypt: Sin shall have great pain, and No shall be rent asunder, and Noph shall have distresses daily.
16 (KAT) V Egypte podložím oheň, v kŕčoch sa bude zvíjať Pelusium, Téby budú rozbité a v Memfise bude úzkosť deň čo deň.

17 (KJV) The young men of Aven and of Pi-beseth shall fall by the sword: and these cities shall go into captivity.
17 (KAT) Mladíci Heliopolisu a Bubastisu padnú pod mečom a pôjdu do zajatia.

18 (KJV) At Tehaphnehes also the day shall be darkened, when I shall break there the yokes of Egypt: and the pomp of her strength shall cease in her: as for her, a cloud shall cover her, and her daughters shall go into captivity.
18 (KAT) V Tafnese sa zatmie deň, keď tam polámem berly Egypta a bude koniec jeho pyšnej moci; pokryje ho oblak a jeho dcéry pôjdu do zajatia.

19 (KJV) Thus will I execute judgments in Egypt: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
19 (KAT) V Egypte prevediem súdy a budú vedieť, že ja som Pán.“

20 (KJV) And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the first month, in the seventh day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
20 (KAT) V jedenástom roku, siedmy deň prvého mesiaca, prehovoril Pán ku mne takto:

21 (KJV) Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and, lo, it shall not be bound up to be healed, to put a roller to bind it, to make it strong to hold the sword.
21 (KAT) „Syn človeka, zlomil som rameno faraóna, egyptského kráľa, a veru ho neobviažu, aby sa vyhojilo, nedajú obväz na zavinutie, aby zmocnelo a mohlo chytiť meč.

22 (KJV) Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and will break his arms, the strong, and that which was broken; and I will cause the sword to fall out of his hand.
22 (KAT) Preto takto hovorí Pán, Jahve: Veru som proti faraónovi, egyptskému kráľovi, zlámem jeho rameno, to zdravé i to zlomené, a vyrazím mu meč z ruky.

23 (KJV) And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.
23 (KAT) A Egypt rozhádžem medzi národy a rozosejem po krajinách.

24 (KJV) And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and put my sword in his hand: but I will break Pharaoh's arms, and he shall groan before him with the groanings of a deadly wounded man.
24 (KAT) Upevním rameno babylonského kráľa a svoj meč vložím do jeho ruky, faraónove ramená však dolámem, že bude pred ním stenať, ako stenú ranení.

25 (KJV) But I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and the arms of Pharaoh shall fall down; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall put my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall stretch it out upon the land of Egypt.
25 (KAT) Ramená babylonského kráľa upevním, ale faraónove ramená klesnú. I budú vedieť, že ja som Pán, keď dám svoj meč do ruky babylonského kráľa, ktorý ho vystrie na egyptskú krajinu.

26 (KJV) And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and disperse them among the countries; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
26 (KAT) A Egypt rozhádžem medzi národy a rozosejem ich po krajinách, vtedy budú vedieť, že ja som Pán.“
