Kniha proroka Ezechiela

1 (KAT) V desiatom roku, jedenásty deň desiateho mesiaca, prehovoril Pán ku mne takto:
1 (VUL) In anno decimo, in decimo mense, duodecima mensis, factum est verbum Domini ad me dicens:
1 (UKJV) In the tenth year, in the tenth month, in the twelfth day of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

2 (KAT) „Syn človeka, obráť si tvár proti faraónovi, kráľovi Egypta, a prorokuj proti nemu a proti celému Egyptu.
2 (VUL) “ Fili hominis, pone faciem tuam contra pharaonem, regem Aegypti, et prophetabis de eo et de Aegypto universa.
2 (UKJV) Son of man, set your face against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy against him, and against all Egypt:

3 (KAT) Hovor a povedz: Toto hovorí Pán, Jahve: Hľa, som pri tebe, faraón, kráľ Egypta, ty veľký krokodíl, ktorý sa vyvaľuješ v prostriedku jeho tokov a ktorý hovoríš: »Mne patrí môj Níl a ja som ho urobil.«
3 (VUL) Loquere et dices: Haec dicit Dominus Deus: Ecce ego ad te, pharao, rex Aegypti, draco magne, qui cubas in medio fluminum tuorum et dicis: “Meus est fluvius, et ego feci memetipsum!”.
3 (UKJV) "Speak, and say, Thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against you, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great dragon that lies in the midst of his rivers, which has said, My river is mine own, and I have made it for myself. "

4 (KAT) Nuž vtiahnem ti krúžky do čeľustia a všetky ryby tvojich tokov ti popriliepam na šupiny; i vyzdvihnem ťa z prostriedku tvojich riek, pričom ti budú všetky ryby tvojich tokov visieť na šupinách.
4 (VUL) Et ponam uncos in maxillis tuis et agglutinabo pisces fluminum tuorum squamis tuis et extraham te de medio fluminum tuorum, et universi pisces tui squamis tuis adhaerebunt.
4 (UKJV) But I will put hooks in your jaws, and I will cause the fish of your rivers to stick unto your scales, and I will bring you up out of the midst of your rivers, and all the fish of your rivers shall stick unto your scales.

5 (KAT) Potom ťa zahodím na pustatinu, teba i všetky ryby tvojich tokov; padneš na otvorené pole, nezdvihnú ťa a nepozbierajú, zverine zeme a vtákom neba ťa dám za pokrm.
5 (VUL) Et proiciam te in desertum et omnes pisces fluminum tuorum. Super faciem terrae cades; non colligeris neque congregaberis. Bestiis terrae et volatilibus caeli dedi te ad devorandum.
5 (UKJV) "And I will leave you thrown into the wilderness, you and all the fish of your rivers: you shall fall upon the open fields; you shall not be brought together, nor gathered: I have given you for food to the beasts of the field and to the fowls of the heaven. "

6 (KAT) A všetci obyvatelia Egypta budú vedieť, že ja som Pán, pretože boli Izraelovmu domu trstenou palicou.
6 (VUL) Et scient omnes habitatores Aegypti quia ego Dominus, pro eo quod fuisti baculus arundineus domui Israel:
6 (UKJV) And all the inhabitants of Egypt shall know that I am the LORD, because they have been a staff of reed to the house of Israel.

7 (KAT) Keď ťa chytia do ruky, zlomíš sa a pretrhneš im celé plece, a keď sa oprú o teba, prelomíš sa a rozhegáš im celý pás -
7 (VUL) quando apprehenderunt te manu, confractus es et lacerasti omnem umerum eorum et, innitentibus eis super te, comminutus es et dissolvisti omnes lumbos eorum.
7 (UKJV) When they took hold of you by your hand, you did break, and rend all their shoulder: and when they leaned upon you, you brake, and made all their loins to be at a stand.

8 (KAT) preto takto hovorí Pán, Jahve: Hľa, ja privediem proti tebe meč a vyhubím z teba ľudí i zvieratá.
8 (VUL) Propterea haec dicit Dominus Deus: Ecce ego adducam super te gladium et interficiam de te hominem et iumentum;
8 (UKJV) "Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I will bring a sword upon you, and cut off man and beast out of you. "

9 (KAT) Vtedy bude egyptská krajina samotou a púšťou a budú vedieť, že ja som Pán; pretože povedal: »Níl je môj, ja som ho urobil.«
9 (VUL) et erit terra Aegypti in desertum et solitudinem, et scient quia ego Dominus. Pro eo quod dixeris: “Fluvius meus est, et ego feci!”,
9 (UKJV) "And the land of Egypt shall be desolate and waste; and they shall know that I am the LORD: because he has said, The river is mine, and I have made it. "

10 (KAT) Preto som proti tebe a proti tvojim tokom a egyptskú krajinu obrátim na púšť, znivočenú mečom od Magdoly po Syene, ba až po hranice Etiópska.
10 (VUL) idcirco ecce ego ad te et ad flumina tua, daboque terram Aegypti in solitudines, gladio dissipatam a Magdolo ad Syenen et usque ad terminos Chus.
10 (UKJV) Behold, therefore I am against you, and against your rivers, and I will make the land of Egypt utterly waste and desolate, from the tower of Syene even unto the border of Ethiopia.

11 (KAT) Ľudská noha ňou neprejde, ani noha zvieraťa neprejde cez ňu a bude neobývaná štyridsať rokov.
11 (VUL) Non pertransibit eam pes hominis, neque pes iumenti gradietur in ea, et non habitabitur quadraginta annis;
11 (UKJV) No foot of man shall pass through it, nor foot of beast shall pass through it, neither shall it be inhabited forty years.

12 (KAT) Egyptskú krajinu urobím pustou medzi pustými krajinami, jej mestá budú opustené medzi opustenými mestami štyridsať rokov. Egypťanov však rozhádžem medzi národy a rozosejem ich po krajinách.

13 (KAT) Lebo toto hovorí Pán, Jahve: Po uplynutí štyridsiatich rokov pozbieram Egypťanov z národov, kde sú roztratení.
13 (VUL) Quia haec dicit Dominus Deus: Post finem quadraginta annorum congregabo Aegyptios de populis, in quibus dispersi fuerunt,
13 (UKJV) "Yet thus says the Lord GOD; At the end of forty years will I gather the Egyptians from the people where they were scattered: "

15 (UKJV) "It shall be the base of the kingdoms; neither shall it exalt itself any more above the nations: for I will diminish them, that they shall no more rule over the nations. "

16 (KAT) A viac nebude Izraelovmu domu oporou, pripomienkou viny, že sa obracal k nim; a budú vedieť, že ja som Pán, Jahve.“
16 (VUL) Neque erunt ultra domui Israel in confidentiam, in memoriam revocans iniquitatem, cum sequerentur eos, et scient quia ego Dominus Deus ”.
16 (UKJV) And it shall be no more the confidence of the house of Israel, which brings their iniquity to remembrance, when they shall look after them: but they shall know that I am the Lord GOD.

17 (KAT) V dvadsiatom siedmom roku, prvý deň prvého mesiaca, prehovoril Pán ku mne takto:
17 (VUL) Et factum est in vicesimo et septimo anno, in primo, in una mensis, factum est verbum Domini ad me dicens:
17 (UKJV) And it came to pass in the seven and twentieth year, in the first month, in the first day of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

18 (KAT) „Syn človeka, babylonský kráľ Nabuchodonozor dal svojmu vojsku konať ťažkú službu proti Týru; každá hlava je plešivá, každé plece odreté, ale od Týru sa jemu a jeho vojsku nedostalo mzdy za službu, ktorú konal.
18 (VUL) “ Fili hominis, Nabuchodonosor, rex Babylonis, servire fecit exercitum suum servitute magna adversus Tyrum; omne caput decalvatum et omnis umerus attritus est, et merces non est reddita ei neque exercitui eius de Tyro pro servitute, qua servivit adversum eam.
18 (UKJV) Son of man, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon caused his army to serve a great service against Tyrus: every head was made bald, and every shoulder was peeled: yet had he no wages, nor his army, for Tyrus, for the service that he had served against it:

19 (KAT) Preto takto hovorí Pán, Jahve: Hľa, babylonskému kráľovi Nabuchodonozorovi dám Egypt! Nech odnesie jeho bohatstvo, nech ho dôkladne vydrancuje a vyplieni, to bude mzda pre jeho vojsko.
19 (VUL) Propterea haec dicit Dominus Deus: Ecce ego dabo Nabuchodonosor, regi Babylonis, terram Aegypti, et accipiet opes eius et depraedabitur manubias eius et diripiet spolia eius, et erit merces exercitui illius,
19 (UKJV) "Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I will give the land of Egypt unto Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall take her multitude, and take her spoil, and take her prey; and it shall be the wages for his army. "

20 (KAT) Ako odmenu, za ktorú slúžil, dám mu egyptskú krajinu, pretože pracovali za mňa, hovorí Pán, Jahve.

21 (KAT) V ten deň spôsobím, aby Izraelovmu domu vyklíčil roh, tebe však dám, aby si si mohol uprostred nich otvoriť ústa; a budú vedieť, že ja som Pán.“
21 (VUL) In die illo germinare faciam cornu domui Israel, et tibi dabo apertum os in medio eorum, et scient quoniam ego Dominus ”.
21 (UKJV) "In that day will I cause the horn of the house of Israel to bud forth, and I will give you the opening of the mouth in the midst of them; and they shall know that I am the LORD. "
