1 (HEM) בשנה העשרית בעשרי בשנים עשר לחדש היה דבר יהוה אלי לאמר׃
1 (UKJV) In the tenth year, in the tenth month, in the twelfth day of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

2 (HEM) בן אדם שים פניך על פרעה מלך מצרים והנבא עליו ועל מצרים כלה׃
2 (UKJV) Son of man, set your face against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy against him, and against all Egypt:

3 (HEM) דבר ואמרת כה אמר אדני יהוה הנני עליך פרעה מלך מצרים התנים הגדול הרבץ בתוך יאריו אשר אמר לי יארי ואני עשיתני׃
3 (UKJV) "Speak, and say, Thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against you, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great dragon that lies in the midst of his rivers, which has said, My river is mine own, and I have made it for myself. "

4 (HEM) ונתתי חחיים בלחייך והדבקתי דגת יאריך בקשקשתיך והעליתיך מתוך יאריך ואת כל דגת יאריך בקשקשתיך תדבק׃
4 (UKJV) But I will put hooks in your jaws, and I will cause the fish of your rivers to stick unto your scales, and I will bring you up out of the midst of your rivers, and all the fish of your rivers shall stick unto your scales.

5 (HEM) ונטשתיך המדברה אותך ואת כל דגת יאריך על פני השדה תפול לא תאסף ולא תקבץ לחית הארץ ולעוף השמים נתתיך לאכלה׃
5 (UKJV) "And I will leave you thrown into the wilderness, you and all the fish of your rivers: you shall fall upon the open fields; you shall not be brought together, nor gathered: I have given you for food to the beasts of the field and to the fowls of the heaven. "

6 (HEM) וידעו כל ישבי מצרים כי אני יהוה יען היותם משענת קנה לבית ישראל׃
6 (UKJV) And all the inhabitants of Egypt shall know that I am the LORD, because they have been a staff of reed to the house of Israel.

7 (HEM) בתפשם בך בכפך תרוץ ובקעת להם כל כתף ובהשענם עליך תשבר והעמדת להם כל מתנים׃
7 (UKJV) When they took hold of you by your hand, you did break, and rend all their shoulder: and when they leaned upon you, you brake, and made all their loins to be at a stand.

8 (HEM) לכן כה אמר אדני יהוה הנני מביא עליך חרב והכרתי ממך אדם ובהמה׃
8 (UKJV) "Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I will bring a sword upon you, and cut off man and beast out of you. "

9 (HEM) והיתה ארץ מצרים לשממה וחרבה וידעו כי אני יהוה יען אמר יאר לי ואני עשיתי׃
9 (UKJV) "And the land of Egypt shall be desolate and waste; and they shall know that I am the LORD: because he has said, The river is mine, and I have made it. "

10 (HEM) לכן הנני אליך ואל יאריך ונתתי את ארץ מצרים לחרבות חרב שממה ממגדל סונה ועד גבול כוש׃
10 (UKJV) Behold, therefore I am against you, and against your rivers, and I will make the land of Egypt utterly waste and desolate, from the tower of Syene even unto the border of Ethiopia.

11 (HEM) לא תעבר בה רגל אדם ורגל בהמה לא תעבר בה ולא תשב ארבעים שנה׃
11 (UKJV) No foot of man shall pass through it, nor foot of beast shall pass through it, neither shall it be inhabited forty years.

12 (HEM) ונתתי את ארץ מצרים שממה בתוך ארצות נשמות ועריה בתוך ערים מחרבות תהיין שממה ארבעים שנה והפצתי את מצרים בגוים וזריתים בארצות׃
12 (UKJV) And I will make the land of Egypt desolate in the midst of the countries that are desolate, and her cities among the cities that are laid waste shall be desolate forty years: and I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.

13 (HEM) כי כה אמר אדני יהוה מקץ ארבעים שנה אקבץ את מצרים מן העמים אשר נפצו שמה׃
13 (UKJV) "Yet thus says the Lord GOD; At the end of forty years will I gather the Egyptians from the people where they were scattered: "

14 (HEM) ושבתי את שבות מצרים והשבתי אתם ארץ פתרוס על ארץ מכורתם והיו שם ממלכה שפלה׃
14 (UKJV) "And I will bring again the captivity of Egypt, and will cause them to return into the land of Pathros, into the land of their habitation; and they shall be there a base kingdom. "

15 (HEM) מן הממלכות תהיה שפלה ולא תתנשא עוד על הגוים והמעטתים לבלתי רדות בגוים׃
15 (UKJV) "It shall be the base of the kingdoms; neither shall it exalt itself any more above the nations: for I will diminish them, that they shall no more rule over the nations. "

16 (HEM) ולא יהיה עוד לבית ישראל למבטח מזכיר עון בפנותם אחריהם וידעו כי אני אדני יהוה׃
16 (UKJV) And it shall be no more the confidence of the house of Israel, which brings their iniquity to remembrance, when they shall look after them: but they shall know that I am the Lord GOD.

17 (HEM) ויהי בעשרים ושבע שנה בראשון באחד לחדש היה דבר יהוה אלי לאמר׃
17 (UKJV) And it came to pass in the seven and twentieth year, in the first month, in the first day of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

18 (HEM) בן אדם נבוכדראצר מלך בבל העביד את חילו עבדה גדלה אל צר כל ראש מקרח וכל כתף מרוטה ושכר לא היה לו ולחילו מצר על העבדה אשר עבד עליה׃
18 (UKJV) Son of man, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon caused his army to serve a great service against Tyrus: every head was made bald, and every shoulder was peeled: yet had he no wages, nor his army, for Tyrus, for the service that he had served against it:

19 (HEM) לכן כה אמר אדני יהוה הנני נתן לנבוכדראצר מלך בבל את ארץ מצרים ונשא המנה ושלל שללה ובזז בזה והיתה שכר לחילו׃
19 (UKJV) "Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I will give the land of Egypt unto Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall take her multitude, and take her spoil, and take her prey; and it shall be the wages for his army. "

20 (HEM) פעלתו אשר עבד בה נתתי לו את ארץ מצרים אשר עשו לי נאם אדני יהוה׃
20 (UKJV) I have given him the land of Egypt for his labour wherewith he served against it, because they wrought for me, says the Lord GOD.

21 (HEM) ביום ההוא אצמיח קרן לבית ישראל ולך אתן פתחון פה בתוכם וידעו כי אני יהוה׃
21 (UKJV) "In that day will I cause the horn of the house of Israel to bud forth, and I will give you the opening of the mouth in the midst of them; and they shall know that I am the LORD. "
