Kniha proroka Ezechiela

1 (KAT) Pán prehovoril ku mne takto:
1 (VUL) Et factus est sermo Domini ad me dicens:
1 (UKJV) The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,

2 (KAT) „Syn človeka, povedz týrskemu kniežaťu: Toto hovorí Pán, Jahve: Pre pýchu tvojho srdca a že si vravel: »Boh som, bývam v božskom obydlí, uprostred mora,« hoc si len človek, nie Boh, za Boha sa predsa v srdci máš.
2 (VUL) “ Fili hominis, dic principi Tyri: Haec dicit Dominus Deus: Eo quod elevatum est cor tuum, et dixisti: “Deus ego sum et in cathedra deorum sedeo in corde maris!”, cum sis homo et non Deus, et dedisti cor tuum quasi cor Dei.

4 (KAT) Múdrosťou, svojou rozumnosťou si si získal bohatstvo, zlato a striebro si ukladal vo svojich pokladniciach.
4 (VUL) in sapientia et prudentia tua fecisti tibi opes et acquisisti aurum et argentum in thesauris tuis;
4 (UKJV) With your wisdom and with your understanding you have got you riches, and have got gold and silver into your treasures:

5 (KAT) Veľkou múdrosťou pri kupectve zveľadil si svoje bohatstvo, potom však pre bohatstvo spyšnelo tvoje srdce.
5 (VUL) in multitudine sapientiae tuae et in negotiatione tua multiplicasti tibi opes, et elevatum est cor tuum in opibus tuis.
5 (UKJV) By your great wisdom and by your trade have you increased your riches, and your heart is lifted up because of your riches:

6 (KAT) Preto takto hovorí Pán, Jahve: Pretože nosíš srdce, aké patrí len Bohu,
6 (VUL) Propterea haec dicit Dominus Deus: Eo quod fecisti cor tuum quasi cor Dei,
6 (UKJV) "Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Because you have set your heart as the heart of God; "

7 (KAT) privediem proti tebe cudzie násilné národy, vytasia svoje šable na krásu, múdrosťou ti danú, znesvätia ti nádheru.
7 (VUL) idcirco ecce ego adducam super te alienos violentissimos gentium; et nudabunt gladios suos super pulchritudinem sapientiae tuae et polluent splendorem tuum.
7 (UKJV) Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon you, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of your wisdom, and they shall defile your brightness.

8 (KAT) Do jamy ťa vrhnú, zomrieš ako tí, čo sú prebodnutí, uprostred mora.
8 (VUL) In fossam detrahent te, et morieris interitu occisorum in corde maris.
8 (UKJV) They shall bring you down to the pit, and you shall die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas.

9 (KAT) Či budeš vravieť: »Bohom som ja« do očí svojich vrahov? Veď si ty len človek, a nie Boh, v rukách tých, ktorí ťa prebodnú.
9 (VUL) Numquid dicens loqueris: “Deus ego sum!” coram interficientibus te, cum sis homo et non Deus in manu occidentium te?
9 (UKJV) Will you yet say before him that slays you, I am God? but you shall be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slays you.

10 (KAT) Smrťou neobrezancov zomrieš, cudzincom v rukách; pretože som to riekol ja,“ hovorí Pán, Jahve.
10 (VUL) Morte incircumcisorum morieris in manu alienorum, quia ego locutus sum ”, ait Dominus Deus.
10 (UKJV) You shall die the deaths of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken it, says the Lord GOD.

11 (KAT) Pán prehovoril ku mne takto:
11 (VUL) Et factus est sermo Domini ad me dicens: “ Fili hominis, leva planctum super regem Tyri
11 (UKJV) Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

12 (KAT) „Syn človeka, začni žalospev o kráľovi Týru a povedz mu: Toto hovorí Pán, Jahve: Bol si vzornou pečaťou, plný múdrosti a vrcholnej krásy.
12 (VUL) et dices ei: Haec dicit Dominus Deus: Tu signaculum perfectum, plenus sapientia et perfectus decore;
12 (UKJV) "Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus says the Lord GOD; You seal up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. "

13 (KAT) Bol si v Edene, Božej záhrade, pokrývali ťa rozličné drahokamy: karneol, topás a jaspis, chryzolit, beryl a ónyx, zafír, karbunkul a smaragd, rukou umelca do zlata zapravené a obložené boli na tebe v deň, keď si bol stvorený.
13 (VUL) in deliciis paradisi Dei fuisti, omnis lapis pretiosus operimentum tuum: sardius, topazius et iaspis, chrysolithus et onyx et beryllus, sapphirus et carbunculus et smaragdus, aurum opus caelaturae in te; in die, qua conditus es, praeparata sunt.

"

14 (KAT) Bol si cherubom, pomazaným ochrancom; dal som ťa na svätý Boží vrch, prechádzal si sa pomedzi ohnivé kamene.

16 (KAT) Pri tvojom rozsiahlom kupčení naplnilo sa ti vnútro zločinom a zhrešil si, vtedy som ťa zvrhol z Božieho vrchu, odstránil som ťa, ochranný cherub, spomedzi ohnivých kameňov.
16 (VUL) In multitudine negotiationis tuae repleta sunt interiora tua iniquitate, et peccasti. Et eieci te de monte Dei, et perdidit te cherub protegens de medio lapidum ignitorum.
16 (UKJV) By the multitude of your merchandise they have filled the midst of you with violence, and you have sinned: therefore I will cast you as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy you, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

17 (KAT) Srdce ti spyšnelo pre nádheru; pre krásu si si pohubil múdrosť. Na zem som ťa hodil, vystavil som ťa pohľadom kráľov, aby sa dívali na teba.
17 (VUL) Elevatum est cor tuum in decore tuo; perdidisti sapientiam tuam propter splendorem tuum: in terram proieci te, ante faciem regum dedi te, ut cernerent te.
17 (UKJV) your heart was lifted up because of your beauty, you have corrupted your wisdom by reason of your brightness: I will cast you to the ground, I will lay you before kings, that they may behold you.

18 (KAT) Množstvom svojich zločinov, nepoctivosťou svojho kupčenia znesvätil si svoje svätyne; vtedy som z tvojho vnútra vyvolal oheň, ktorý ťa strávil. Urobil som z teba popol na zemi pred očami všetkých, čo ťa videli.
18 (VUL) In multitudine iniquitatum tuarum et iniquitate negotiationis tuae polluisti sanctuaria tua; producam ergo ignem de medio tui, qui comedat te, et dabo te in cinerem super terram in conspectu omnium videntium te.
18 (UKJV) "You have defiled your sanctuaries by the multitude of your iniquities, by the iniquity of your trade; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of you, it shall devour you, and I will bring you to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold you. "

19 (KAT) Všetci, ktorí ťa poznali medzi národmi, zhrozili sa nad tebou, postrachom si sa stal a už ťa viac niet.“
19 (VUL) Omnes, qui viderint te, in gentibus obstupescent super te; in horrorem factus es et non eris in perpetuum ”.
19 (UKJV) All they that know you among the people shall be astonished at you: you shall be a terror, and never shall you be any more.

20 (KAT) Pán prehovoril ku mne takto:
20 (VUL) Et factus est sermo Domini ad me dicens:
20 (UKJV) Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

21 (KAT) „Syn človeka, obráť si tvár proti Sidonu a prorokuj proti nemu,
21 (VUL) “ Fili hominis, pone faciem tuam contra Sidonem et propheta de ea
21 (UKJV) Son of man, set your face against Zidon, and prophesy against it,

22 (KAT) povedz: Toto hovorí Pán, Jahve: Hľa, som proti tebe, Sidon, oslávim sa uprostred teba. Vtedy budú vedieť, že ja som Pán, keď v ňom zavediem súdy a ukážem na ňom, že som svätý.
22 (VUL) et dices: Haec dicit Dominus Deus: Ecce ego ad te, Sidon, et glorificabor in medio tui, et scient quia ego Dominus, cum fecero in ea iudicia et sanctificatus fuero in ea.
22 (UKJV) "And say, Thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against you, O Zidon; and I will be glorified in the midst of you: and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her. "

23 (KAT) Pošlem naň mor a na jeho ulice krv; prebodnutí budú v jeho strede padať pod mečom, ktorý bude proti nemu zo všetkých strán. Vtedy budú vedieť, že ja som Pán, Jahve.
23 (VUL) Et immittam ei pestilentiam et sanguinem in plateis eius, et corruent interfecti in medio eius gladio per circuitum, et scient quia ego Dominus.
23 (UKJV) "For I will send into her pestilence, and blood into her streets; and the wounded shall be judged in the midst of her by the sword upon her on every side; and they shall know that I am the LORD. "

25 (VUL) Haec dicit Dominus Deus: Quando congregavero domum Israel de populis, in quibus dispersi sunt, sanctificabor in eis coram gentibus, et habitabunt in terra sua, quam dedi servo meo Iacob;
25 (UKJV) "Thus says the Lord GOD; When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwell in their land that I have given to my servant Jacob. "

26 (KAT) Budú v nej bývať bezpečne, budú stavať domy a vysádzať vinice. Budú bývať v bezpečí, keď zavediem súdy proti všetkým, čo nimi opovrhujú zo všetkých strán, i budú vedieť, že ja som Pán, ich Boh.“
26 (VUL) et habitabunt in ea securi et aedificabunt domos plantabuntque vineas et habitabunt confidenter, cum fecero iudicia in omnibus, qui adversantur eis per circuitum, et scient quia ego Dominus Deus eorum ”.
26 (UKJV) "And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments upon all those that despise them round about them; and they shall know that I am the LORD their God. "
