Kniha proroka Ezechiela

1 (KJV) The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,
1 (KAT) Pán prehovoril ku mne takto:

2 (KJV) Now, thou son of man, take up a lamentation for Tyrus;
2 (KAT) „Ty teda, syn človeka, začni žalospev nad Týrom!

3 (KJV) And say unto Tyrus, O thou that art situate at the entry of the sea, which art a merchant of the people for many isles, Thus saith the Lord GOD; O Tyrus, thou hast said, I am of perfect beauty.
3 (KAT) A povedz Týru, ktorý býva pri vstupe na more a na mnohých ostrovoch kupčí s národmi: Toto hovorí Pán, Jahve: Týrus, ty vravíš: »Som vrchol krásy.«

4 (KJV) Thy borders are in the midst of the seas, thy builders have perfected thy beauty.
4 (KAT) V srdci mora tvoje hranice, budovatelia ťa krásnym spravili.

5 (KJV) They have made all thy ship boards of fir trees of Senir: they have taken cedars from Lebanon to make masts for thee.
5 (KAT) Zo sanírskych cyprusov postavili všetky tvoje poschodia, z Libanonu doviezli céder, by na teba sťažeň vztýčili,

6 (KJV) Of the oaks of Bashan have they made thine oars; the company of the Ashurites have made thy benches of ivory, brought out of the isles of Chittim.
6 (KAT) veslá z dubov Bášanu urobili pre teba. Dali ti slonovinovú palubu vykladanú drevom jedľovým z ostrovov kitejských.

7 (KJV) Fine linen with broidered work from Egypt was that which thou spreadest forth to be thy sail; blue and purple from the isles of Elishah was that which covered thee.
7 (KAT) Vyšívaný bysus z Egypta boli tvoje plachetky, slúžili ti za zástavu. Purpur modrý, červený z elisajských ostrovov boli tvojím pokrovom.

8 (KJV) The inhabitants of Zidon and Arvad were thy mariners: thy wise men, O Tyrus, that were in thee, were thy pilots.
8 (KAT) Ľudia zo Sidonu, Aradu boli ti za veslárov, Týrus, tvoji mudrci boli kormidelníkmi.

9 (KJV) The ancients of Gebal and the wise men thereof were in thee thy calkers: all the ships of the sea with their mariners were in thee to occupy thy merchandise.
9 (KAT) Gebalskí starci a mudrci zaprávali v tebe trhliny. Všetky lode mora a ich námorníci boli u teba, aby prevážali tvoj tovar.

10 (KJV) They of Persia and of Lud and of Phut were in thine army, thy men of war: they hanged the shield and helmet in thee; they set forth thy comeliness.
10 (KAT) Peržania, Lúd a Pút boli v tvojom vojsku, boli tvojimi bojovníkmi, u teba si vešali štít a prilbu, oni ti dodávali lesku.

11 (KJV) The men of Arvad with thine army were upon thy walls round about, and the Gammadims were in thy towers: they hanged their shields upon thy walls round about; they have made thy beauty perfect.
11 (KAT) Synovia Aradu a tvoje vojsko boli na tvojich múroch dookola a boli strážcami v tvojich vežiach; tulce si vešali dookola na tvojich múroch, oni ti zdokonaľovali krásu.

12 (KJV) Tarshish was thy merchant by reason of the multitude of all kind of riches; with silver, iron, tin, and lead, they traded in thy fairs.
12 (KAT) Taršiš bol tvojím kupcom pre množstvo rôzneho bohatstva; dodávali tvoj tovar za striebro, železo, cín a olovo.

13 (KJV) Javan, Tubal, and Meshech, they were thy merchants: they traded the persons of men and vessels of brass in thy market.
13 (KAT) Javan, Tubal a Mešek boli tvojimi kupcami; ľudské duše a kovové náradie dovážali na tvoj trh.

14 (KJV) They of the house of Togarmah traded in thy fairs with horses and horsemen and mules.
14 (KAT) Z Togormovho domu dávali na výmenu kone, tátoše a mulice.

15 (KJV) The men of Dedan were thy merchants; many isles were the merchandise of thine hand: they brought thee for a present horns of ivory and ebony.
15 (KAT) Synovia Dedanu boli tvojimi obchodníkmi, početné ostrovy ti boli príručnými kupcami, ako platbu ti donášali slonovinu a ebenové drevo.

16 (KJV) Syria was thy merchant by reason of the multitude of the wares of thy making: they occupied in thy fairs with emeralds, purple, and broidered work, and fine linen, and coral, and agate.
16 (KAT) Aram bol kupcom pre množstvo tvojich výrobkov; karbunkul, purpur, výšivky, bysus, koraly a rubíny ti dávali na výmenu.

17 (KJV) Judah, and the land of Israel, they were thy merchants: they traded in thy market wheat of Minnith, and Pannag, and honey, and oil, and balm.
17 (KAT) Júda a Izraelov dom boli tvojimi kupcami, obilie z Minitu, voňavky, med, olej a balzam ti dávali na výmenu.

18 (KJV) Damascus was thy merchant in the multitude of the wares of thy making, for the multitude of all riches; in the wine of Helbon, and white wool.
18 (KAT) Damask bol tvojím kupcom pre množstvo tvojich výrobkov, pre množstvo rozličného bohatstva, chelbonského vína a krásnofarebnej vlny.

19 (KJV) Dan also and Javan going to and fro occupied in thy fairs: bright iron, cassia, and calamus, were in thy market.
19 (KAT) Dan, Javan, Uzal ti dávali na výmenu kované železo, škoricu a trsť. Bolo ti to miesto platby.

20 (KJV) Dedan was thy merchant in precious clothes for chariots.
20 (KAT) Dedan kupčil s tebou s vlnenými prikrývkami pre jazdu.

21 (KJV) Arabia, and all the princes of Kedar, they occupied with thee in lambs, and rams, and goats: in these were they thy merchants.
21 (KAT) Arabi a všetky kniežatá Kedaru boli tvojimi príručnými kupcami, kupčili s tebou barančatami, baranmi a capmi.

22 (KJV) The merchants of Sheba and Raamah, they were thy merchants: they occupied in thy fairs with chief of all spices, and with all precious stones, and gold.
22 (KAT) Kupci zo Sáby a Rémy, to boli tvoji kupci, rozličné prvotriedne voňavky, rôzne drahokamy a zlato ti dávali na výmenu.

23 (KJV) Haran, and Canneh, and Eden, the merchants of Sheba, Assur, and Chilmad, were thy merchants.
23 (KAT) Haran, Chene a Eden, kupci zo Sáby, Asýr a Chelmad boli tvojimi kupcami.

24 (KJV) These were thy merchants in all sorts of things, in blue clothes, and broidered work, and in chests of rich apparel, bound with cords, and made of cedar, among thy merchandise.
24 (KAT) Oni kupčili s tebou na tvojich tržiskách so vzácnymi látkami, plášťmi z modrého purpuru, výšivkami a pestrými prikrývkami, pletenými a trvácimi povrazmi.

25 (KJV) The ships of Tarshish did sing of thee in thy market: and thou wast replenished, and made very glorious in the midst of the seas.
25 (KAT) Taršišské lode ti dovážali výmenný tovar. Plný si bol veľmi a naložený uprostred mora,

26 (KJV) Thy rowers have brought thee into great waters: the east wind hath broken thee in the midst of the seas.
26 (KAT) zaviedli ťa na veľkú vodu tvoji veslári: východný vietor ťa dolámal uprostred mora.

27 (KJV) Thy riches, and thy fairs, thy merchandise, thy mariners, and thy pilots, thy calkers, and the occupiers of thy merchandise, and all thy men of war, that are in thee, and in all thy company which is in the midst of thee, shall fall into the midst of the seas in the day of thy ruin.
27 (KAT) Tvoj majetok, články tovaru, námorníci, kormidelníci, tí, čo zaprávali na tebe trhliny a prevážali tvoj tovar, všetci tvoji bojovníci, čo ich len bolo na tebe, a celý zástup, ktorý bol na tebe, padne doprostred mora v deň tvojho stroskotania.

28 (KJV) The suburbs shall shake at the sound of the cry of thy pilots.
28 (KAT) Hlasom kriku tvojich kormidelníkov zachvejú sa pobrežia;

29 (KJV) And all that handle the oar, the mariners, and all the pilots of the sea, shall come down from their ships, they shall stand upon the land;
29 (KAT) zo svojich lodí vystúpia tí, čo sa chápu vesla, námorníci a kormidelníci mora na zem vykročia;

30 (KJV) And shall cause their voice to be heard against thee, and shall cry bitterly, and shall cast up dust upon their heads, they shall wallow themselves in the ashes:
30 (KAT) hlasno budú volať nad tebou, kričať budú prehorko, prach si budú sypať na hlavy a váľať sa budú v popole.

31 (KJV) And they shall make themselves utterly bald for thee, and gird them with sackcloth, and they shall weep for thee with bitterness of heart and bitter wailing.
31 (KAT) Plešinu si budú robiť pre teba, opášu sa vrecovinou, dušou zhorknutou budú plakať nad tebou trpkým nárekom.

32 (KJV) And in their wailing they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and lament over thee, saying, What city is like Tyrus, like the destroyed in the midst of the sea?
32 (KAT) Žalospev si budú (v svojom žiali) spievať nad tebou, budú žialiť za tebou: Kto bol ako Týrus, čo zhynul uprostred mora?

33 (KJV) When thy wares went forth out of the seas, thou filledst many people; thou didst enrich the kings of the earth with the multitude of thy riches and of thy merchandise.
33 (KAT) Keď tvoj tovar z mora prichádzal, sýtil si mnohé národy, množstvom svojho bohatstva a tovaru obohacoval si kráľov zeme.

34 (KJV) In the time when thou shalt be broken by the seas in the depths of the waters thy merchandise and all thy company in the midst of thee shall fall.
34 (KAT) Teraz, stroskotaný, z mora zmizol si do priepasti vôd; tvoj tovar a tvoje zástupy sa ponorili s tebou.

35 (KJV) All the inhabitants of the isles shall be astonished at thee, and their kings shall be sore afraid, they shall be troubled in their countenance.
35 (KAT) Tí, čo obývajú ostrovy, zdesili sa nad tebou, ich králi sa strašne zhrozili, chveje sa im tvár.

36 (KJV) The merchants among the people shall hiss at thee; thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt be any more.
36 (KAT) Kupci kmeňov si pískajú nad tebou, veď si ostal postrachom, nikdy viac ťa už nebude.“
