1 (KAT) Pán prehovoril ku mne takto:
1 (VUL) Et factus est sermo Domini ad me dicens:
1 (UKJV) The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,

2 (KAT) „Syn človeka, boli dve ženy, dcéry jednej matky.
2 (VUL) “ Fili hominis, duae mulieres filiae matris unius fuerunt
2 (UKJV) Son of man, there were two women, the daughters of one mother:

3 (KAT) Smilnili v Egypte, vo svojej mladosti smilnili. Tam im ohmatávali prsia, tam im stláčali panenské prsníky.
3 (VUL) et fornicatae sunt in Aegypto, in adulescentia sua fornicatae sunt; ibi subacta sunt ubera earum, et tactae sunt mammae virginitatis earum.
3 (UKJV) "And they committed whoredoms in Egypt; they committed whoredoms in their youth: there were their breasts pressed, and there they bruised the teats of their virginity. "

4 (KAT) A ich mená: staršia Oola a jej sestra Ooliba. Patrili mne a porodili synov a dcéry. Ich mená však boli Samária Oola a Jeruzalem Ooliba.
4 (VUL) Nomina autem earum Oolla maior et Ooliba soror eius; et habui eas, et pepererunt filios et filias: porro earum nomina Samaria Oolla et Ierusalem Ooliba.
4 (UKJV) "And the names of them were Aholah the elder, and Aholibah her sister: and they were mine, and they bare sons and daughters. Thus were their names; Samaria is Aholah, and Jerusalem Aholibah. "

5 (KAT) Oola sa mi spreneverila, zahorela k svojim milovníkom Asýrom, ktorí sa k nej blížili

6 (KAT) poobliekaní do purpuru; k miestodržiteľom a vojvodcom, samým to žiaducim mladíkom, k jazdcom, čo sa nosia na koňoch.
6 (VUL) vestitos hyacintho, principes et magistratus, iuvenes desiderabiles universi, equites ascensores equorum.
6 (UKJV) Which were clothed with blue, captains and rulers, all of them desirable young men, horsemen riding upon horses.

7 (KAT) Tiahlo ju k nim jej smilstvo, ku všetkým tým vyberaným synom Asýrov, a poškvrnila sa všetkými, ku ktorým zahorela, i všetkými ich modlami.
7 (VUL) Et dedit fornicationes suas ad eos electos filiorum Assyriae universos; et apud omnes, in quos insanivit, in omnibus idolis eorum polluta est.
7 (UKJV) Thus she committed her whoredoms with them, with all them that were the chosen men of Assyria, and with all on whom she doted: with all their idols she defiled herself.

8 (KAT) Ale ani svoje egyptské necudnosti neopustila, veď oni s ňou súložili v jej mladosti, oni stláčali jej panenské prsia a zahrňovali ju svojím smilstvom.
8 (VUL) Insuper et fornicationes suas, quas habuerat in Aegypto, non reliquit; nam et illi dormierunt cum ea in adulescentia eius, et illi tetigerant ubera virginitatis eius et effuderant fornicationem suam super eam.
8 (UKJV) Neither left she her whoredoms brought from Egypt: for in her youth they lay with her, and they bruised the breasts of her virginity, and poured their whoredom upon her.

9 (KAT) Preto som ju vydal do ruky asýrskych synov, ku ktorým zahorela.
9 (VUL) Propterea tradidi eam in manus amatorum suorum, in manus filiorum Assyriae, in quos insanivit;
9 (UKJV) Wherefore I have delivered her into the hand of her lovers, into the hand of the Assyrians, upon whom she doted.

10 (KAT) Oni odhalili jej hanbu, jej synov a dcéry zajali a ju zabili mečom, takže sa stala povestnou pred ženami. Takto na nej splnili súdy.

11 (KAT) Jej sestra Ooliba to videla a zahorela ešte horšie než tamtá, jej smilstvo bolo horšie ako sestrino.

13 (KAT) Vtedy som videl, že sa poškvrnila, jednou cestou kráčali obe.
13 (VUL) Et vidi quod polluta esset: via una ambarum;
13 (UKJV) Then I saw that she was defiled, that they took both one way,

14 (KAT) Ona však stupňovala svoju necudnosť. Uvidela mužov maľovaných na múre, obrazy Chaldejcov, maľovaných na červeno,
14 (VUL) et auxit fornicationes suas. Cumque vidisset viros depictos in pariete, imagines Chaldaeorum expressas sinopide,
14 (UKJV) And that she increased her whoredoms: for when she saw men portrayed upon the wall, the images of the Chaldeans portrayed with vermilion,

15 (KAT) opásaných okolo bedier pásom, s otočeným turbanom na hlavách, že každý vyzeral ako veliteľ; obrazy synov Bábelu, Chaldejsko je ich rodnou krajinou.
15 (VUL) et accinctos balteis renes, et tiaras defluentes in capitibus eorum; aspectus essedariorum omnibus, similitudo filiorum Babylonis, quorum patria Chaldaea.
15 (UKJV) Girded with girdles upon their loins, exceeding in dyed attire upon their heads, all of them princes to look to, after the manner of the Babylonians of Chaldea, the land of their nativity:

16 (KAT) Len čo ich jej oči zazreli, zahorela k nim a poslala k nim do Chaldejska svojich poslov.

17 (UKJV) And the Babylonians came to her into the bed of love, and they defiled her with their whoredom, and she was polluted with them, and her mind was alienated from them.

18 (KAT) Odhalila svoje smilstvo, odhalila svoju hanbu; vtedy sa mi odcudzila jej duša, ako sa mi odcudzila duša jej sestry.

19 (KAT) Rozmnožovala svoju necudnosť, lebo sa rozpamätala na dni svojej mladosti, keď smilnila v egyptskej krajine.
19 (VUL) Multiplicavit autem fornicationes suas, recordans dies adulescentiae suae, quibus fornicata est in terra Aegypti;
19 (UKJV) Yet she multiplied her whoredoms, in calling to remembrance the days of her youth, wherein she had played the harlot in the land of Egypt.

20 (KAT) Zahorela k ich rozkošníkom, ktorých telo je ako telo oslov a ich výron je ako výron žrebcov.
20 (VUL) et insanivit libidine in amatores suos, quorum membra sunt ut membra asinorum, et sicut fluxus equorum fluxus eorum.
20 (UKJV) For she doted upon their paramours, whose flesh is as the flesh of asses, and whose issue is like the issue of horses.

21 (KAT) Vyhľadala si zločin svojej mladosti, keď ti Egypťania chytali prsia, stláčali tvoje mladistvé prsníky.
21 (VUL) Et desiderasti scelus adulescentiae tuae, quando subacta sunt in Aegypto ubera tua, et tactae mammae pubertatis tuae.
21 (UKJV) Thus you called to remembrance the lewdness of your youth, in bruising your teats by the Egyptians for the breast of your youth.

22 (KAT) Preto Ooliba, toto hovorí Pán, Jahve: Hľa, ja popudím proti tebe tvojich milovníkov, ktorým sa ti odcudzila duša, a privediem ich proti tebe zo všetkých strán.
22 (VUL) Propterea, Ooliba, haec dicit Dominus Deus: Ecce ego suscitabo amatores tuos contra te, de quibus recessit anima tua; et congregabo eos adversum te in circuitu,
22 (UKJV) "Therefore, O Aholibah, thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I will raise up your lovers against you, from whom your mind is alienated, and I will bring them against you on every side; "

23 (KAT) Synov Babylonu a všetkých Chaldejcov, príslušníkov Pekodu, Soy a Koy, všetkých asýrskych synov s nimi, všetko to žiaducich mladíkov, miestodržiteľov a vojvodcov, veliteľov a vznešených, ktorí všetci jazdia na koňoch.
23 (VUL) filios Babylonis et universos Chaldaeos, Phacud et Sue et Cue, omnes filios Assyriorum cum eis, iuvenes desiderabiles, duces et magistratus universos, essedarios et nominatos, ascensores equorum omnes.

24 (KAT) A prídu vyzbrojení proti tebe; s vozmi, kolesami a zástupmi ľudí; štít, brnenie a prilbu namieria vôkol proti tebe, im oddám súd a budú ťa súdiť podľa svojich práv.
24 (VUL) Et venient super te instructi curru et rota, cum multitudine populorum; scuto et clipeo et galea armabuntur contra te undique, et dabo coram eis iudicium, et iudicabunt te iudiciis suis.
24 (UKJV) And they shall come against you with chariots, wagons, and wheels, and with an assembly of people, which shall set against you buckler and shield and helmet round about: and I will set judgment before them, and they shall judge you according to their judgments.

25 (KAT) Namierim proti tebe svoju žiarlivosť, že budú zlostne zaobchádzať s tebou, odrežú ti nos a uši a tvoj dorast padne pod mečom. Oni ti zajmú synov a dcéry a tvoj dorast spáli oheň.
25 (VUL) Et ponam zelum meum in te, quem exercent tecum in furore: nasum tuum et aures tuas praecident et, quae remanserint de te, gladio concident; ipsi filios tuos et filias tuas capient, et novissimum tuum devorabitur igni.
25 (UKJV) "And I will set my jealousy against you, and they shall deal furiously with you: they shall take away your nose and your ears; and your remnant shall fall by the sword: they shall take your sons and your daughters; and your residue shall be devoured by the fire. "

26 (KAT) Povyzliekajú ťa zo šiat a zoberú ti ozdobné predmety.
26 (VUL) Et denudabunt te vestimentis tuis et tollent vasa gloriae tuae;
26 (UKJV) They shall also strip you out of your clothes, and take away your fair jewels.

27 (KAT) Takto vyhubím z teba tvoje výčiny a tvoje smilstvo od egyptskej krajiny; už si k nim nepozdvihneš oči a viac si nespomenieš na Egypt.
27 (VUL) et cessare faciam scelus tuum de te et fornicationem tuam de terra Aegypti, nec levabis oculos tuos ad eos et Aegypti non recordaberis amplius.
27 (UKJV) Thus will I make your lewdness to cease from you, and your whoredom brought from the land of Egypt: so that you shall not lift up your eyes unto them, nor remember Egypt any more.

28 (KAT) Lebo toto hovorí Pán, Jahve: Hľa, vydám ťa do ruky, ktorú nenávidíš, do ruky, ktorej sa ti odcudzila duša!
28 (VUL) Quia haec dicit Dominus Deus: Ecce ego tradam te in manu eorum, quos odisti, in manu, de quibus recessit anima tua;
28 (UKJV) "For thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I will deliver you into the hand of them whom you hate, into the hand of them from whom your mind is alienated: "

29 (KAT) Nenávistne budú s tebou nakladať, zoberú všetok tvoj zisk, nechajú ťa nahú a holú a zjaví sa hanba tvojej necudnosti, tvoje výčiny a tvoje smilstvá.
29 (VUL) et agent tecum in odio et tollent omnes labores tuos et dimittent te nudam et ignominia plenam, et revelabitur ignominia fornicationum tuarum, scelus tuum et fornicationes tuae.
29 (UKJV) And they shall deal with you hatefully, and shall take away all your labour, and shall leave you naked and bare: and the nakedness of your whoredoms shall be discovered, both your lewdness and your whoredoms.

30 (KAT) Toto ti urobili, lebo si pachtila po národoch, poškvrnila si sa ich modlami.
30 (VUL) Fecerunt haec tibi, quia fornicata es post gentes, inter quas polluta es in idolis earum.
30 (UKJV) I will do these things unto you, because you have gone a whoring after the heathen, and because you are polluted with their idols.

31 (KAT) Kráčala si cestou svojej sestry, preto ti dám do ruky jej kalich.
31 (VUL) In via sororis tuae ambulasti, et dabo calicem eius in manu tua.
31 (UKJV) "You have walked in the way of your sister; therefore will I give her cup into your hand. "

32 (KAT) Toto hovorí Pán, Jahve: Kalich svojej sestry budeš piť, hlboký a široký, na hanbu a na posmech ti bude, mnoho vojde do neho.
32 (VUL) Haec dicit Dominus Deus: Calicem sororis tuae bibes profundum et latum C eris in derisum et in subsannationem C: est capacissimus.
32 (UKJV) "Thus says the Lord GOD; You shall drink of your sister's cup deep and large: you shall be laughed to scorn and had in derision; it contains much. "

33 (KAT) Opojením, žalosťou sa preplníš. Je to kalich hrôzy, zdesenia, kalich tvojej sestry Samárie.
33 (VUL) Ebrietate et dolore repleberis, calice stuporis et horroris, calice sororis tuae Samariae,
33 (UKJV) You shall be filled with drunkenness and sorrow, with the cup of astonishment and desolation, with the cup of your sister Samaria.

34 (KAT) Piť ho budeš až do dna, jeho črepy budeš hrýzť, svoje prsia roztrháš; lebo som hovoril ja;“ výrok Pána, Jahveho.
34 (VUL) et bibes illum et epotabis usque ad faeces; et fragmenta eius rodes et ubera tua lacerabis, quia ego locutus sum ”, ait Dominus Deus.
34 (UKJV) You shall even drink it and suck it out, and you shall break the earthen ware thereof, and pluck off your own breasts: for I have spoken it, says the Lord GOD.

35 (KAT) Preto takto hovorí Pán, Jahve: „Pretože si ma zabudla a zahodila si si ma za chrbát, nes aj ty svoju vinu a svoje necudnosti!“
35 (VUL) Propterea haec dicit Dominus Deus: “ Quia oblita es mei et proiecisti me post tergum tuum, tu quoque porta scelus tuum et fornicationes tuas ”.
35 (UKJV) "Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Because you have forgotten me, and cast me behind your back, therefore bear you also your lewdness and your whoredoms. "

36 (KAT) Pán mi povedal: „Syn človeka, chceš súdiť Oolu a Oolibu? Rozpovedz im ich ohavnosti:
36 (VUL) Et ait Dominus ad me: “ Fili hominis, numquid iudicas Oollam et Oolibam? Annuntia ergo eis scelera earum.
36 (UKJV) "The LORD said moreover unto me; Son of man, will you judge Aholah and Aholibah? yea, declare unto them their abominations; "

37 (KAT) že cudzoložili a krv majú na rukách. Cudzoložili so svojimi modlami a aj synov, ktorých porodili mne, zaháňali im na pokrm.
37 (VUL) Quia adulteratae sunt, et sanguis in manibus earum, et cum idolis suis fornicatae sunt; insuper et filios suos, quos genuerunt mihi, obtulerunt eis ad devorandum.
37 (UKJV) That they have committed adultery, and blood is in their hands, and with their idols have they committed adultery, and have also caused their sons, whom they bare unto me, to pass for them through the fire, to devour them.

38 (KAT) I toto spáchali proti mne: poškvrnili v ten deň moju svätyňu a znesvätili moje soboty.
38 (VUL) Sed et hoc fecerunt mihi: polluerunt sanctuarium meum in die illa et sabbata mea profanaverunt.
38 (UKJV) Moreover this they have done unto me: they have defiled my sanctuary in the same day, and have profaned my sabbaths.

39 (KAT) Lebo keď zabili svojich synov pre svoje modly, v ten istý deň prišli do mojej svätyne poškvrniť ju. Áno, toto robili v mojom dome.
39 (VUL) Cumque immolarent filios suos idolis suis et ingrederentur sanctuarium meum in die illa, ut polluerent illud, ecce haec fecerunt in medio domus meae.
39 (UKJV) "For when they had slain their children to their idols, then they came the same day into my sanctuary to profane it; and, lo, thus have they done in the midst of mine house. "

40 (KAT) Dokonca posielali po chlapov, ktorí prichádzali zďaleka, prichádzali vtedy, keď poslali po nich posla. Kvôli nim si sa kúpala, maľovala si si oči a krášlila si sa skvostmi.

40 (UKJV) "And furthermore, that all of you have sent for men to come from far, unto whom a messenger was sent; and, lo, they came: for whom you did wash yourself, painted your eyes, and decked yourself with ornaments, "

41 (KAT) Sedela si na nádhernom lôžku, pred tebou bol prikrytý stôl a položila si naň moje kadidlo a môj olej.
41 (VUL) sedisti in lecto pulcherrimo, et mensa ornata est ante te, thymiama meum et unguentum meum posuisti super eam.
41 (UKJV) And sat upon a stately bed, and a table prepared before it, whereupon you have set mine incense and mine oil.

42 (KAT) Pri nej a pri chlapoch sa ozývalo hulákanie, viac ako keď sa z púšte privedie množstvo ožranov, a dávali im na ruky náramnice a na hlavy ozdobné koruny.
42 (VUL) Et vox multitudinis exsultantis erat apud eam et apud viros multitudo hominum, qui adducebantur de deserto; et posuerunt armillas in manibus earum et coronas speciosas in capitibus earum.
42 (UKJV) And a voice of a multitude being at ease was with her: and with the men of the common sort were brought Sabeans from the wilderness, which put bracelets upon their hands, and beautiful crowns upon their heads.

43 (KAT) Vtedy som riekol: Či necudzoložili takto? Páchali výčiny necudnej ženy.
43 (VUL) Et dixi de ea, quae attrita est in adulteriis: Nunc fornicabitur in fornicatione sua etiam haec.
43 (UKJV) Then said I unto her that was old in adulteries, Will they now commit whoredoms with her, and she with them?

44 (KAT) Vchádzajú k nej ako k žene neviestke. Tak vchádzali k hriešnym ženám Oole a Oolibe.
44 (VUL) Et ingressi sunt ad eam quasi ad mulierem meretricem; sic ingrediebantur ad Oollam et ad Oolibam, mulieres nefarias.
44 (UKJV) Yet they went in unto her, as they go in unto a woman that plays the harlot: so went they in unto Aholah and unto Aholibah, the lewd women.

45 (KAT) Ale spravodliví mužovia ich budú súdiť podľa práva cudzoložníc a podľa práva krviprelievačov, lebo cudzoložnicami sú a krv majú na rukách.
45 (VUL) Viri ergo iusti sunt; hi iudicabunt eas iudicio adulterarum et iudicio effundentium sanguinem, quia adulterae sunt, et sanguis in manibus earum ”.
45 (UKJV) "And the righteous men, they shall judge them after the manner of adulteresses, and after the manner of women that shed blood; because they are adulteresses, and blood is in their hands. "

46 (KAT) Vskutku toto hovorí Pán, Jahve: Priviesť proti nim zástup a vydať ich týraniu a lúpeži!
46 (VUL) Haec enim dicit Dominus Deus: “ Adduc ad eas congregationem et trade eas in terrorem et in rapinam;
46 (UKJV) "For thus says the Lord GOD; I will bring up a company upon them, and will give them to be removed and spoiled. "

47 (KAT) Zástup nech ich ukameňuje a nech ich postína mečom: ich synov a dcéry nech pozabíjajú a ich domy nech spália ohňom.

47 (UKJV) "And the company shall stone them with stones, and dispatch them with their swords; they shall slay their sons and their daughters, and burn up their houses with fire. "

48 (KAT) Takto odstránim z krajiny zločin, všetky ženy budú mať výstrahu a nebudú hrešiť ako vy.
48 (VUL) Et auferam scelus de terra, et discent omnes mulieres, ne faciant secundum scelus vestrum;
48 (UKJV) Thus will I cause lewdness to cease out of the land, that all women may be taught not to do after your lewdness.

49 (KAT) Vaše zločiny naložia na vás, ponesiete svoje hriechy s modlami a budete vedieť, že ja som Pán, Jahve.“
49 (VUL) et dabunt scelus vestrum super vos, et peccata idolorum vestrorum portabitis et scietis quia ego Dominus Deus ”.
49 (UKJV) And they shall recompense your lewdness upon you, and all of you shall bear the sins of your idols: and all of you shall know that I am the Lord GOD.
