Ez 22, 1-31

1 (KJV) Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
1 (KAT) Pán prehovoril ku mne takto:

2 (KJV) Now, thou son of man, wilt thou judge, wilt thou judge the bloody city? yea, thou shalt shew her all her abominations.
2 (KAT) „Ty, syn človeka, chceš súdiť (chceš súdiť) krvavé mesto? Nuž oznám mu všetky jeho zločiny!

3 (KJV) Then say thou, Thus saith the Lord GOD, The city sheddeth blood in the midst of it, that her time may come, and maketh idols against herself to defile herself.
3 (KAT) A povedz: Toto hovorí Pán, Jahve: Mesto vylieva vo svojom strede krv, aby prišiel jeho čas; a robí si modly, aby sa poškvrnilo.

4 (KJV) Thou art become guilty in thy blood that thou hast shed; and hast defiled thyself in thine idols which thou hast made; and thou hast caused thy days to draw near, and art come even unto thy years: therefore have I made thee a reproach unto the heathen, and a mocking to all countries.
4 (KAT) Krvou, ktorú si vylievalo, si sa previnilo; a modlami, ktoré si urobilo, si sa poškvrnilo. Tak si približuješ svoje dni a prichádzaš ku svojim rokom, preto ťa urobím potupou národov, posmechom všetkých krajín.

5 (KJV) Those that be near, and those that be far from thee, shall mock thee, which art infamous and much vexed.
5 (KAT) Blízke i od teba vzdialené budú sa ti posmievať, máš poškvrnené meno, máš veľa nepokoja.

6 (KJV) Behold, the princes of Israel, every one were in thee to their power to shed blood.
6 (KAT) Pozri, z kniežat Izraela sa každý spolieha na svoje rameno, chcú vylievať krv.

7 (KJV) In thee have they set light by father and mother: in the midst of thee have they dealt by oppression with the stranger: in thee have they vexed the fatherless and the widow.
7 (KAT) Otca a matku znevažujú v tebe, cudzincov znásilňujú uprostred teba, siroty a vdovy utláčajú v tebe.

8 (KJV) Thou hast despised mine holy things, and hast profaned my sabbaths.
8 (KAT) Mne zasvätenými vecami si pohrdlo, moje soboty si znesvätilo.

9 (KJV) In thee are men that carry tales to shed blood: and in thee they eat upon the mountains: in the midst of thee they commit lewdness.
9 (KAT) Ľudia ohovárační sú v tebe, chcú vylievať krv; na vrchoch jedia v tebe, pášu zločin v tvojom strede.

10 (KJV) In thee have they discovered their fathers' nakedness: in thee have they humbled her that was set apart for pollution.
10 (KAT) V tebe odkrývajú otcovu hanbu, v tebe znásilňujú znečistenú krvou.

11 (KJV) And one hath committed abomination with his neighbour's wife; and another hath lewdly defiled his daughter in law; and another in thee hath humbled his sister, his father's daughter.
11 (KAT) V tebe každý páše ohavnosť s manželkou svojho blížneho, každý zločinne poškvrňuje svoju nevestu a v tebe si každý znásilňuje sestru, dcéru svojho otca.

12 (KJV) In thee have they taken gifts to shed blood; thou hast taken usury and increase, and thou hast greedily gained of thy neighbours by extortion, and hast forgotten me, saith the Lord GOD.
12 (KAT) Dary prijímajú v tebe, aby vylievali krv, prijímalo si úroky a nadplatky, násilne si vykorisťovalo blížneho, na mňa si však zabudlo, hovorí Pán, Jahve.

13 (KJV) Behold, therefore I have smitten mine hand at thy dishonest gain which thou hast made, and at thy blood which hath been in the midst of thee.
13 (KAT) Ale ja tlesnem dlaňami nad tvojou lúpežou, ktorú si páchalo, a nad krviprelievaním, ktoré je uprostred teba.

14 (KJV) Can thine heart endure, or can thine hands be strong, in the days that I shall deal with thee? I the LORD have spoken it, and will do it.
14 (KAT) Či ti srdce vydrží, či ti ruky ostanú pevné v dňoch, ktoré ti ja chystám? Ja, Pán, som to riekol a splním.

15 (KJV) And I will scatter thee among the heathen, and disperse thee in the countries, and will consume thy filthiness out of thee.
15 (KAT) Rozhádžem ťa medzi národy, rozprášim ťa po krajinách a vyhubím z teba tvoju nečistotu.

16 (KJV) And thou shalt take thine inheritance in thyself in the sight of the heathen, and thou shalt know that I am the LORD.
16 (KAT) A získam si ťa pred očami národov; vtedy budeš vedieť, že ja som Pán.“

17 (KJV) And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
17 (KAT) Pán prehovoril ku mne takto:

18 (KJV) Son of man, the house of Israel is to me become dross: all they are brass, and tin, and iron, and lead, in the midst of the furnace; they are even the dross of silver.
18 (KAT) „Syn človeka, Izrael mi ostal troskou. Všetci sú kov, cín, železo a olovo vo vyhni, ostali troskou zo striebra.

19 (KJV) Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye are all become dross, behold, therefore I will gather you into the midst of Jerusalem.
19 (KAT) Preto takto hovorí Pán, Jahve: Pretože ste všetci ostali troskou, hľa, ja vás zhromaždím do Jeruzalema.

20 (KJV) As they gather silver, and brass, and iron, and lead, and tin, into the midst of the furnace, to blow the fire upon it, to melt it; so will I gather you in mine anger and in my fury, and I will leave you there, and melt you.
20 (KAT) Ako sa zhromažďuje striebro, kov, železo, olovo a cín do vyhne, aby naň pre vytopenie dúchali oheň: tak vás ja zhromaždím, poskladám a vytopím vo svojom hneve a rozhorčenosti.

21 (KJV) Yea, I will gather you, and blow upon you in the fire of my wrath, and ye shall be melted in the midst thereof.
21 (KAT) Hej, zhromaždím vás a rozdúcham na vás oheň svojho hnevu, že sa v ňom roztopíte.

22 (KJV) As silver is melted in the midst of the furnace, so shall ye be melted in the midst thereof; and ye shall know that I the LORD have poured out my fury upon you.
22 (KAT) Ako sa vo vyhni roztápa striebro, tak sa roztopíte v ňom a budete vedieť, že ja, Pán, som vylial na vás svoj hnev.“

23 (KJV) And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
23 (KAT) Pán prehovoril ku mne takto:

24 (KJV) Son of man, say unto her, Thou art the land that is not cleansed, nor rained upon in the day of indignation.
24 (KAT) „Syn človeka, povedz jej: Ty si krajina nezvlažená dažďom a nepokropená v deň hnevu.

25 (KJV) There is a conspiracy of her prophets in the midst thereof, like a roaring lion ravening the prey; they have devoured souls; they have taken the treasure and precious things; they have made her many widows in the midst thereof.
25 (KAT) Jej kniežatá sú v nej ako revúci lev, ktorý trhá korisť. Zožierajú životy, berú poklady a cennosti a rozmnožujú v nej vdovy.

26 (KJV) Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.
26 (KAT) Jej kňazi znásilňujú môj zákon, znesväcujú mne zasvätené veci, nerobia rozdiel medzi svätým a nesvätým a neučia rozdielu medzi poškvrneným a čistým. Pred mojimi sobotami si zakrývajú oči, takže som znesvätený medzi nimi.

27 (KJV) Her princes in the midst thereof are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, and to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain.
27 (KAT) Jej úradníci sú v jej strede ako vlky, ktoré kmášu korisť, chcú vylievať krv, ničiť životy, aby sa mohli zmocniť koristi.

28 (KJV) And her prophets have daubed them with untempered morter, seeing vanity, and divining lies unto them, saying, Thus saith the Lord GOD, when the LORD hath not spoken.
28 (KAT) Jej proroci im to však zatierajú vakovkou, pretože vidia márnosť, veštia im luhaniny, vravia: »Toto hovoril Pán, Jahve,« hoci Pán nehovoril.

29 (KJV) The people of the land have used oppression, and exercised robbery, and have vexed the poor and needy: yea, they have oppressed the stranger wrongfully.
29 (KAT) Pospolitý ľud páše násilie, dopúšťa sa lúpeže, utláča bedárov a žobrákov a bezprávne znásilňuje cudzincov.

30 (KJV) And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.
30 (KAT) Keď som však hľadal medzi nimi niekoho, kto by vymuroval múr, postavil sa proti mne do trhliny za krajinu, aby som ju nezničil, nenašiel som.

31 (KJV) Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, saith the Lord GOD.
31 (KAT) Vylial som teda na ňu svoj hnev, ohňom svojej roztrpčenosti som ich zničil, ich cesty som im zvrátil na hlavu,“ hovorí Pán, Jahve.

Verš 2

Now, thou son of man, wilt thou judge, wilt thou judge the bloody city? yea, thou shalt shew her all her abominations.

Ez 20:4 - Wilt thou judge them, son of man, wilt thou judge them? cause them to know the abominations of their fathers:

Ez 23:36 - The LORD said moreover unto me; Son of man, wilt thou judge Aholah and Aholibah? yea, declare unto them their abominations;

Verš 4

Thou art become guilty in thy blood that thou hast shed; and hast defiled thyself in thine idols which thou hast made; and thou hast caused thy days to draw near, and art come even unto thy years: therefore have I made thee a reproach unto the heathen, and a mocking to all countries.

2Kr 21:16 - Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; beside his sin wherewith he made Judah to sin, in doing that which was evil in the sight of the LORD.

Ez 20:30 - Wherefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Are ye polluted after the manner of your fathers? and commit ye whoredom after their abominations?

Ez 5:14 - Moreover I will make thee waste, and a reproach among the nations that are round about thee, in the sight of all that pass by.

Verš 9

In thee are men that carry tales to shed blood: and in thee they eat upon the mountains: in the midst of thee they commit lewdness.

Ez 18:6 - And hath not eaten upon the mountains, neither hath lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, neither hath defiled his neighbour's wife, neither hath come near to a menstruous woman,

Ez 18:11 - And that doeth not any of those duties, but even hath eaten upon the mountains, and defiled his neighbour's wife,

Verš 10

In thee have they discovered their fathers' nakedness: in thee have they humbled her that was set apart for pollution.

Lv 18:8 - The nakedness of thy father's wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father's nakedness.

Lv 18:19 - Also thou shalt not approach unto a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is put apart for her uncleanness.

Verš 11

And one hath committed abomination with his neighbour's wife; and another hath lewdly defiled his daughter in law; and another in thee hath humbled his sister, his father's daughter.

Lv 18:20 - Moreover thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbour's wife, to defile thyself with her.

Jer 5:8 - They were as fed horses in the morning: every one neighed after his neighbour's wife.

Lv 18:15 - Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy daughter in law: she is thy son's wife; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.

Lv 18:9 - The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or daughter of thy mother, whether she be born at home, or born abroad, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover.

Verš 13

Behold, therefore I have smitten mine hand at thy dishonest gain which thou hast made, and at thy blood which hath been in the midst of thee.

Ez 21:17 - I will also smite mine hands together, and I will cause my fury to rest: I the LORD have said it.

Verš 14

Can thine heart endure, or can thine hands be strong, in the days that I shall deal with thee? I the LORD have spoken it, and will do it.

Ez 17:24 - And all the trees of the field shall know that I the LORD have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree to flourish: I the LORD have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree to flourish: I the LORD have spoken and have done it.

Verš 15

And I will scatter thee among the heathen, and disperse thee in the countries, and will consume thy filthiness out of thee.

Ez 12:14 - And I will scatter toward every wind all that are about him to help him, and all his bands; and I will draw out the sword after them.

Verš 18

Son of man, the house of Israel is to me become dross: all they are brass, and tin, and iron, and lead, in the midst of the furnace; they are even the dross of silver.

Verš 25

There is a conspiracy of her prophets in the midst thereof, like a roaring lion ravening the prey; they have devoured souls; they have taken the treasure and precious things; they have made her many widows in the midst thereof.

Mt 23:14 - Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.

Verš 26

Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.

Lv 10:10 - And that ye may put difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean;

Ez 44:23 - And they shall teach my people the difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.

Verš 27

Her princes in the midst thereof are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, and to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain.

Mi 3:11 - The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the LORD, and say, Is not the LORD among us? none evil can come upon us.

Sof 3:3 - Her princes within her are roaring lions; her judges are evening wolves; they gnaw not the bones till the morrow.

Verš 28

And her prophets have daubed them with untempered morter, seeing vanity, and divining lies unto them, saying, Thus saith the Lord GOD, when the LORD hath not spoken.

Ez 13:10 - Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered morter:

Ez 21:29 - Whiles they see vanity unto thee, whiles they divine a lie unto thee, to bring thee upon the necks of them that are slain, of the wicked, whose day is come, when their iniquity shall have an end.

Verš 30

And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.

Ž 106:23 - Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them.

Verš 31

Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, saith the Lord GOD.

Ez 9:10 - And as for me also, mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity, but I will recompense their way upon their head.

Ez 11:21 - But as for them whose heart walketh after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their way upon their own heads, saith the Lord GOD.

Ez 16:43 - Because thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth, but hast fretted me in all these things; behold, therefore I also will recompense thy way upon thine head, saith the Lord GOD: and thou shalt not commit this lewdness above all thine abominations.
