Kniha proroka Ezechiela

1 (KAT) Pán prehovoril ku mne takto:
1 (VUL) Et factum est verbum Do mini ad me dicens:
1 (UKJV) And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

2 (KAT) „Syn človeka, predlož hádanku a povedz porekadlo Izraelovmu domu!
2 (VUL) “Fili ho minis, propone aenigma et narra parabolam ad domum Israel
2 (UKJV) "Son of man, put forth a riddle, and speak a parable unto the house of Israel; "

3 (KAT) A hovor: Toto hovorí Pán, Jahve: Veľký orol s veľkými krídlami, dlhými brkami, pokrytý strakatým perím, prišiel na Libanon a vzal vrcholec cédra.
3 (VUL) et dices: Haec dicit Dominus Deus: Aquila grandis magnarum alarum, longo pennarum ductu, plena plumis et varietate, venit ad Libanum et tulit cacumen cedri;
3 (UKJV) "And say, Thus says the Lord GOD; A great eagle with great wings, long pinions, full of feathers, which had divers colours, came unto Lebanon, and took the highest branch of the cedar: "

4 (KAT) Obkmásal konce jeho výhonkov a zaniesol to do kupeckej krajiny, položil to do obchodníckeho mesta.

5 (KAT) Potom vzal zo semena krajiny a zasial ho do osevného poľa, uložil ho pri hojných vodách, dal ho na povrch,
5 (VUL) Et tulit de semine terrae et posuit illud in terra pro semine, super aquas multas, quasi salicem posuit illud,
5 (UKJV) "He took also of the seed of the land, and planted it in a fruitful field; he placed it by great waters, and set it as a willow tree. "

6 (KAT) aby vyklíčilo ako roztiahnutý vinič nízkeho vzrastu, ktorého konáre sa mali obracať k nemu a jeho korene mali byť pod ním. Vyrástol teda z neho vinič a z neho vyrástli konáre, vyhnali z neho vetvy.
6 (VUL) ut germinaret et cresceret in vineam latiorem humili statura, respicientibus ramis eius ad illam, et radices eius sub illa essent. Facta est ergo vinea et fructificavit in palmites et emisit propagines.
6 (UKJV) And it grew, and became a spreading vine of low stature, whose branches turned toward him, and the roots thereof were under him: so it became a vine, and brought forth branches, and shot forth sprigs.

7 (KAT) Ale bol iný orol, mohutný, s veľkými krídlami a hustým perím. A hľa, vinič z hriadok, kde bol zasadený, vystieral korene a vytŕčal konáre k nemu, aby ich zvlažoval.
7 (VUL) Et fuit aquila altera grandis, magnis alis multisque plumis; et ecce vinea ista, quasi mittens radices suas ad eam, palmites suos extendit ad illam, ut irrigaret eam abundantius quam areolae, in quibus erat plantata.
7 (UKJV) There was also another great eagle with great wings and many feathers: and, behold, this vine did bend her roots toward him, and shot forth her branches toward him, that he might water it by the furrows of her plantation.

8 (KAT) Do dobrej pôdy pri hojných vodách bol zasadený, aby vyháňal konáre a rodil ovocie, aby sa stal nádherným viničom.
8 (VUL) In terra bona super aquas multas plantata est, ut faciat frondes et portet fructum et sit in vineam grandem.
8 (UKJV) It was planted in a good soil by great waters, that it might bring forth branches, and that it might bear fruit, that it might be a goodly vine.

9 (KAT) Povedz: Toto sa pýta Pán, Jahve: Vydarí sa? Či mu nevytrhá korene, neobtrhá jeho ovocie, že mu vyschne všetko vypučané lístie? Vyschne. Môže ho vytrhať z koreňov, a to ani nie s mocným ramenom alebo početným ľudom.
9 (VUL) Dic: Haec dicit Dominus Deus: Ergone prosperabitur? Nonne radices eius evellet et fructum eius distringet, et marcescent omnia recentia germina eius, et arescet? Et non opus erit brachio grandi neque populo multo, ut evellat eam radicitus.
9 (UKJV) "Say you, Thus says the Lord GOD; Shall it prosper? shall he not pull up the roots thereof, and cut off the fruit thereof, that it wither? it shall wither in all the leaves of her spring, even without great power or many people to pluck it up by the roots thereof. "

10 (KAT) Áno, bol zasadený; či sa vydarí, či nevyschne úplne, keď sa ho dotkne východný vietor? Vyschne na hriadkach, kde vyklíčil.“
10 (VUL) Ecce plantata est; ergone prosperabitur? Nonne, cum tetigerit eam ventus urens, siccabitur et in areis, in quibus germinaverat, arescet? ”.
10 (UKJV) Yea, behold, being planted, shall it prosper? shall it not utterly wither, when the east wind touches it? it shall wither in the furrows where it grew.

11 (KAT) Vtedy Pán prehovoril ku mne takto:
11 (VUL) Et factum est verbum Domini ad me dicens:
11 (UKJV) Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

12 (KAT) „Povedzže odbojnému domu: Neviete, čo to znamená? Povedz: Babylonský kráľ prišiel do Jeruzalema, zajal jeho kráľa a jeho kniežatá a odviedol ich k sebe do Babylonu.
12 (VUL) “ Dic ad domum exasperantem: Nescitis quid ista significent? Dic: Ecce venit rex Babylonis Ierusalem et assumpsit regem et principes eius et adduxit eos ad semetipsum in Babylonem;
12 (UKJV) "Say now to the rebellious house, Know all of you not what these things mean? tell them, Behold, the king of Babylon has come to Jerusalem, and has taken the king thereof, and the princes thereof, and led them with him to Babylon; "

13 (KAT) Potom vzal kohosi z kráľovského semena, uzavrel s ním zmluvu, sprisahal si ho, ale vznešených krajiny zajal,
13 (VUL) et tulit de semine regni pepigitque cum eo foedus et accepit ab eo iusiurandum, sed et fortes terrae sustulit,
13 (UKJV) And has taken of the king's seed, and made a covenant with him, and has taken an oath of him: he has also taken the mighty of the land:

14 (KAT) aby bolo podlým kráľovstvom a nemohlo sa vyvyšovať, aby zachovalo jeho zmluvu a ostalo v platnosti.
14 (VUL) ut esset regnum humile et non elevaretur, sed custodiret pactum eius et servaret illud.
14 (UKJV) That the kingdom might be base, that it might not lift itself up, but that by keeping of his covenant it might stand.

15 (KAT) Ale vzbúril sa proti nemu a poslal svojich poslov do Egypta, aby mu dali kone a množstvo ľudí. Či sa to vydarí? Či sa zachráni ten, čo to robí? Veď zrušil zmluvu, či môže uniknúť?
15 (VUL) Qui recedens ab eo, misit nuntios ad Aegyptum, ut daret sibi equos et populum multum. Numquid prosperabitur vel consequetur salutem, qui fecit haec? Et, qui dissolvit pactum, numquid effugiet?
15 (UKJV) But he rebelled against him in sending his ambassadors into Egypt, that they might give him horses and much people. Shall he prosper? shall he escape that does such things? or shall he break the covenant, and be delivered?

16 (KAT) Ako žijem, hovorí Pán, Jahve, zomrie prostred Babylonu, v mieste kráľa, ktorý ho urobil kráľom, ktorému zlomil danú prísahu a zrušil zmluvu s ním.
16 (VUL) Vivo ego, dicit Dominus Deus, quoniam in loco regis, qui constituit eum regem, cuius fecit irritum iuramentum et solvit pactum, quod habebat cum eo, in medio Babylonis morietur.
16 (UKJV) As I live, says the Lord GOD, surely in the place where the king dwells that made him king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant he brake, even with him in the midst of Babylon he shall die.

17 (KAT) Faraón mu však nebude vo vojne pomáhať veľkým vojskom ani množstvom ľudu, keď nakopia násyp a postavia val, aby zničili množstvo životov.
17 (VUL) Et non in exercitu grandi neque in populo multo adiuvabit eum pharao in proelio, in iactu aggeris et in exstructione munitionum, ut interficiat animas multas.
17 (UKJV) Neither shall Pharaoh with his mighty army and great company make for him in the war, by casting up mounts, and building forts, to cut off many persons:

18 (KAT) Áno, zlomil prísahu, zrušil zmluvu; dal svoju ruku, a urobil to všetko; nezachráni sa!
18 (VUL) Spreverat enim iuramentum, ut solveret foedus, et ecce dedit manum suam et, cum omnia haec fecerit, non effugiet.
18 (UKJV) Seeing he despised the oath by breaking the covenant, when, lo, he had given his hand, and has done all these things, he shall not escape.

19 (KAT) Nuž toto hovorí Pán, Jahve: Na svoj život, že mu zvrátim na hlavu prísahu, ktorú mi zlomil, a zmluvu, ktorú mi zrušil.
19 (VUL) Propterea haec dicit Dominus Deus: Vivo ego, quoniam iuramentum meum, quod sprevit, et foedus meum, quod praevaricatus est, ponam in caput eius
19 (UKJV) "Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; As I live, surely mine oath that he has despised, and my covenant that he has broken, even it will I recompense upon his own head. "

20 (KAT) A vystriem proti nemu svoju sieť, chytí sa do môjho osídla; potom ho odvediem do Babylonu, tam ho budem súdiť pre vierolomnosť, ktorú proti mne spáchal.
20 (VUL) et expandam super eum rete meum, et comprehendetur tendicula mea, et adducam eum in Babylonem et iudicabo illum ibi in praevaricatione, qua praevaricatus est in me.
20 (UKJV) And I will spread my net upon him, and he shall be taken in my snare, and I will bring him to Babylon, and will plead with him there for his trespass that he has trespassed against me.

21 (KAT) Výber z celého jeho vojska padne pod mečom a tí, čo zostanú, roztratia sa na všetky vetry, potom budete vedieť, že ja, Pán, som hovoril.“
21 (VUL) Et omnes electi eius in universo agmine suo gladio cadent; residui autem in omnem ventum dispergentur, et scietis quia ego Dominus locutus sum.
21 (UKJV) And all his fugitives with all his bands shall fall by the sword, and they that remain shall be scattered toward all winds: and all of you shall know that I the LORD have spoken it.

22 (KAT) Toto hovorí Pán: „Ja vezmem z vrcholca vysokého cédra a zasadím; odlomím útly konárik z jeho výhonkov a zasadím na vysokej a povznesenej hore.
22 (VUL) Haec dicit Dominus Deus: Et sumam ego de cacumine cedri sublimis et ponam; de vertice ramorum eius tenerum distringam et plantabo super montem excelsum et eminentem.
22 (UKJV) "Thus says the Lord GOD; I will also take of the highest branch of the high cedar, and will set it; I will crop off from the top of his young twigs a tender one, and will plant it upon an high mountain and eminent: "

23 (KAT) Na vysokej hore Izraela ho zasadím, vyženie vetvy, urodí ovocie a bude veľký strom, takže bude pod ním bývať všetko vtáctvo rozličných druhov; v tieni jeho vetiev budú bývať.
23 (VUL) In monte sublimi Israel plantabo illud; et erumpet in germen et faciet fructum et erit in cedrum magnam; et habitabunt sub ea omnes volucres, et universum volatile sub umbra frondium eius nidificabit.
23 (UKJV) "In the mountain of the height of Israel will I plant it: and it shall bring forth boughs, and bear fruit, and be a goodly cedar: and under it shall dwell all fowl of every wing; in the shadow of the branches thereof shall they dwell. "

24 (KAT) Vtedy poznajú všetky stromy poľa, že ja, Pán, som ponížil vysoký strom a vyvýšil som ponížený strom, vysušil som zelený strom a do kvetu som doniesol suchý strom. Ja, Pán, som to povedal a splnil.“
24 (VUL) Et scient omnia ligna regionis quia ego Dominus humiliavi lignum sublime et exaltavi lignum humile et siccavi lignum viride et frondere feci lignum aridum. Ego Dominus locutus sum et feci ”.
24 (UKJV) And all the trees of the field shall know that I the LORD have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree to flourish: I the LORD have spoken and have done it.
