Kniha proroka Ezechiela

1 (KAT) Prišli ku mne mužovia zo starších Izraela a sadli si predo mňa.
1 (VUL) Et venerunt ad me viri seniorum Israel et sederunt coram me.
1 (UKJV) Then came certain of the elders of Israel unto me, and sat before me.

2 (KAT) Vtedy Pán prehovoril ku mne takto:
2 (VUL) Et factus est sermo Domini ad me dicens:
2 (UKJV) And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

3 (KAT) „Syn človeka, títo mužovia prijali do sŕdc svoje modly a postavili pred seba osídlo k hriechom. Nuž mám sa im dať naozaj vypytovať?
3 (VUL) “ Fili hominis, viri isti posuerunt idola sua in cordibus suis et scandalum iniquitatis suae statuerunt contra faciem suam; numquid interrogatus respondebo eis?
3 (UKJV) Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their heart, and put the stumbling block of their iniquity before their face: should I be enquired of at all by them?

4 (KAT) Preto hovor s nimi a povedz im: Toto hovorí Pán, Jahve: Keď ktokoľvek z Izraelovho domu, kto prijal do srdca svoje modly a postavil pred seba osídlo k hriechu, príde k prorokovi, ja, Pán, mu odpoviem podľa množstva jeho modiel,
4 (VUL) Propter hoc loquere eis et dices ad eos: Haec dicit Dominus Deus: Omnis homo de domo Israel, qui posuerit idola sua in corde suo et scandalum iniquitatis suae statuerit contra faciem suam et venerit ad prophetam interrogans per eum me, ego Dominus respondebo ei per me pro multitudine idolorum suorum,
4 (UKJV) "Therefore speak unto them, and say unto them, Thus says the Lord GOD; Every man of the house of Israel that sets up his idols in his heart, and puts the stumbling block of his iniquity before his face, and comes to the prophet; I the LORD will answer him that comes according to the multitude of his idols; "

5 (KAT) aby som za srdce chytil Izraelov dom, ktorý sa mi pre svoje modly celý odcudzil.
5 (VUL) ut capiam domum Israel in corde suo, quo recesserunt a me in cunctis idolis suis.
5 (UKJV) That I may take the house of Israel in their own heart, because they are all cut off from me through their idols.

6 (KAT) Preto povedz Izraelovmu domu: Toto hovorí Pán, Jahve: Obráťte sa, odvráťte sa od svojich modiel a odvráťte si tvár od všetkých svojich ohavností!
6 (VUL) Propterea dic ad domum Israel: Haec dicit Dominus Deus: Convertimini et recedite ab idolis vestris et ab universis contaminationibus vestris avertite facies vestras.
6 (UKJV) "Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord GOD; Repent, and turn yourselves from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations. "

7 (KAT) Lebo keď sa mi ktokoľvek z Izraelovho domu a z cudzincov, ktorí sa zdržujú v Izraeli, odcudzí, pripustí si do srdca svoje modly a postaví pred seba osídlo k hriechu, a potom príde k prorokovi vypytovať sa ma o sebe, ja, Pán, osobne mu dám odpoveď.
7 (VUL) Quia omnis homo de domo Israel et de advenis, quicumque advena fuerit in Israel, si alienatus fuerit a me et posuerit idola sua in corde suo et scandalum iniquitatis suae statuerit contra faciem suam et venerit ad prophetam, ut interroget per eum me, ego Dominus respondebo ei per me;
7 (UKJV) "For every one of the house of Israel, or of the stranger that sojourns in Israel, which separates himself from me, and sets up his idols in his heart, and puts the stumbling block of his iniquity before his face, and comes to a prophet to enquire of him concerning me; I the LORD will answer him by myself: "

8 (KAT) Proti takémuto mužovi namierim svoju tvár, urobím ho znamením a porekadlom a vyhubím ho sprostred svojho ľudu. I dozviete sa, že ja som Pán.
8 (VUL) et ponam faciem meam contra hominem illum et faciam eum in exemplum et in proberbium et disperdam eum de medio populi mei, et scietis quia ego Dominus.
8 (UKJV) "And I will set my face against that man, and will make him a sign and a proverb, and I will cut him off from the midst of my people; and all of you shall know that I am the LORD. "

9 (KAT) A ak sa prorok dá zviesť a povie niečo, ja, Pán, som zviedol toho proroka; vystriem proti nemu svoju ruku a vyhubím ho sprostred svojho ľudu.
9 (VUL) Et propheta cum erraverit et locutus fuerit verbum, ego Dominus decepi prophetam illum et extendam manum meam contra eum et delebo eum de medio populi mei Israel.
9 (UKJV) And if the prophet be deceived when he has spoken a thing, I the LORD have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel.

10 (KAT) Ponesú svoju vinu; aká je vina toho, čo sa pýta, taká bude aj vina proroka,
10 (VUL) Et portabunt iniquitatem suam: sicut iniquitas interrogantis, sic et iniquitas prophetae erit,
10 (UKJV) "And they shall bear the punishment of their iniquity: the punishment of the prophet shall be even as the punishment of him that seeks unto him; "

11 (KAT) aby sa dom Izraela už viac nezatúlal odo mňa a nepoškvrňoval sa viac rozličnými svojimi hriechmi, ale aby boli mojím ľudom a ja aby som bol ich Bohom,“ hovorí Pán, Jahve.
11 (VUL) ut non erret ultra domus Israel a me neque polluatur in universis praevaricationibus suis, sed sit mihi in populum, et ego sim eis in Deum ”, ait Dominus Deus.
11 (UKJV) "That the house of Israel may go no more astray from me, neither be polluted any more with all their transgressions; but that they may be my people, and I may be their God, says the Lord GOD. "

12 (KAT) Potom prehovoril Pán ku mne takto:
12 (VUL) Et factus est sermo Domini ad me dicens:
12 (UKJV) The word of the LORD came again to me, saying,

13 (KAT) „Syn človeka, ak sa krajina prehreší proti mne a spácha spreneveru, vystriem proti nej svoju ruku a dolámem jej oporu chleba, pošlem na ňu hlad a vyhubím z nej ľudí i zvieratá.
13 (VUL) “ Fili hominis, terra cum peccaverit mihi, ut praevaricetur praevaricans, extendam manum meam super eam et conteram virgam panis eius et immittam in eam famem et interficiam de ea hominem et iumentum;
13 (UKJV) Son of man, when the land sins against me by trespassing grievously, then will I stretch out mine hand upon it, and will break the staff of the bread thereof, and will send famine upon it, and will cut off man and beast from it:

14 (KAT) Ak v nej budú títo traja mužovia: Noe, Daniel a Jób, oni si spravodlivosťou zachránia životy, hovorí Pán, Jahve.
14 (VUL) et si fuerint tres viri isti in medio eius, Noe, Danel et Iob, ipsi iustitia sua liberabunt animas suas, ait Dominus Deus.
14 (UKJV) Though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they should deliver but their own souls by their righteousness, says the Lord GOD.

15 (KAT) Ak privediem do krajiny divú zver a vyľudním ju, že bude pustatinou, cez ktorú pre zver neprejde nik,
15 (VUL) Quod si et bestias pessimas induxero super terram, ut absque liberis faciant eam, et fuerit deserta, in qua nullus pertranseat propter bestias,
15 (UKJV) If I cause dangerous beasts to pass through the land, and they spoil it, so that it be desolate, that no man may pass through because of the beasts:

16 (KAT) títo traja mužovia - ako žijem, hovorí Pán, Jahve - nezachránia si synov ani dcéry, iba sami sa zachránia, krajina však bude púšťou.
16 (VUL) tres viri isti si fuerint in ea, vivo ego, dicit Dominus Deus, quia nec filios nec filias liberabunt, sed ipsi soli liberabuntur, terra autem desolabitur.
16 (UKJV) "Though these three men were in it, as I live, says the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither sons nor daughters; they only shall be delivered, but the land shall be desolate. "

17 (KAT) Alebo ak privediem na tú krajinu meč a poviem: Nech cez krajinu tiahne meč; a vyhubím z nej ľudí i zvieratá
17 (VUL) Vel si gladium induxero super terram illam et dixero gladio: Transi per terram, et interfecero de ea hominem et iumentum,
17 (UKJV) "Or if I bring a sword upon that land, and say, Sword, go through the land; so that I cut off man and beast from it: "

18 (KAT) a budú v nej títo traja mužovia - ako žijem, hovorí Pán, Jahve -, nezachránia si synov ani dcéry, iba sami sa zachránia.
18 (VUL) et tres viri isti fuerint in medio eius, vivo ego, dicit Dominus Deus, non liberabunt filios neque filias, sed ipsi soli liberabuntur.
18 (UKJV) Though these three men were in it, as I live, says the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither sons nor daughters, but they only shall be delivered themselves.

19 (KAT) Alebo ak pošlem na tú krajinu mor a s krvou vylejem na ňu svoj hnev, aby som z nej vyhubil ľudí i zvieratá,
19 (VUL) Vel si pestilentiam immisero super terram illam et effudero indignationem meam super eam in sanguine, ut auferam ex ea hominem et iumentum,
19 (UKJV) Or if I send a pestilence into that land, and pour out my fury upon it in blood, to cut off from it man and beast:

20 (KAT) a budú v nej Noe, Daniel a Jób - ako žijem, hovorí Pán, Jahve - nezachránia si syna ani dcéru, len sami si zachránia život svojou spravodlivosťou.
20 (VUL) et Noe et Danel et Iob fuerint in medio eius, vivo ego, dicit Dominus Deus, quia filium et filiam non liberabunt, sed ipsi iustitia sua liberabunt animas suas.
20 (UKJV) "Though Noah, Daniel, and Job were in it, as I live, says the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither son nor daughter; they shall but deliver their own souls by their righteousness. "

21 (KAT) Lebo toto hovorí Pán, Jahve: I keď pošlem štyri svoje súdy, meč, hlad, divú zver a mor na Jeruzalem, aby som z neho vyhubil ľudí i zvieratá,
21 (VUL) Quoniam haec dicit Dominus Deus: Quod si et quattuor iudicia mea pessima, gladium et famem et bestias malas et pestilentiam misero in Ierusalem, ut interficiam de ea hominem et pecus,
21 (UKJV) "For thus says the Lord GOD; How much more when I send my four sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the dangerous beast, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast? "

22 (KAT) nechám v ňom zachránených, ktorí vyvedú synov a dcéry. Hľa, vytiahnu k vám; až uvidíte ich cestičky a ich činy, potešíte sa pre nešťastie, ktoré som priviedol na Jeruzalem; pre všetko, čo som naň priviedol.
22 (VUL) tamen relinquetur in ea salvatio educentium filios et filias: ecce ipsi egredientur ad vos, et videbitis viam eorum et opera eorum et consolabimini super malo, quod induxi in Ierusalem in omnibus, quae importavi super eam.
22 (UKJV) Yet, behold, therein shall be left a remnant that shall be brought forth, both sons and daughters: behold, they shall come forth unto you, and all of you shall see their way and their doings: and all of you shall be comforted concerning the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, even concerning all that I have brought upon it.

23 (KAT) Potešia vás, až uvidíte ich cestičky a ich činy a dozviete sa, že nie bez príčiny som s ním naložil tak, ako som naložil,“ hovorí Pán, Jahve.
23 (VUL) Et consolabuntur vos, cum videritis viam eorum et opera eorum, et cognoscetis quod non frustra fecerim omnia, quae feci in ea ”, ait Dominus Deus.
23 (UKJV) And they shall comfort you, when all of you see their ways and their doings: and all of you shall know that I have not done without cause all that I have done in it, says the Lord GOD.
