Ez 11, 1-25

1 (CPDV) And the Spirit lifted me up, and he brought me to the east gate of the house of the Lord, which looks toward the rising of the sun. And behold, at the entrance to the gate were twenty-five men. And I saw, in their midst, Jaazaniah, the son of Azzur, and Pelatiah, the son of Benaiah, leaders of the people.
1 (ROH) A Duch ma vyzdvihol a zaviedol ma k východnej bráne domu Hospodinovho, ktorá je obrátená na východ, a hľa, pri vchode do brány bolo dvadsaťpäť mužov, medzi ktorými som videl Jazaniáša, syna Azzúrovho, a Pelatiáša, syna Benaiášovho, kniežatá ľudu.

2 (CPDV) And he said to me: “Son of man, these are men who devise iniquity. And they offer a wicked counsel in this city,
2 (ROH) A riekol mi: Synu človeka, toto sú tí mužovia, ktorí vymýšľajú neprávosť a ktorí dávajú zlú radu v tomto meste,

3 (CPDV) saying: ‘Was it so long ago that houses were being built? This city is a cooking pot, and we are the meat.’
3 (ROH) ktorí hovoria: Nestaväť v blízkom čase domy; ono je hrncom, a my sme mäsom.

4 (CPDV) Therefore, prophesy against them, prophesy, O son of man.”
4 (ROH) Preto prorokuj proti nim, prorokuj, synu človeka!

5 (CPDV) And the Spirit of the Lord fell upon me, and he said to me: “Speak: Thus says the Lord: So have you spoken, O house of Israel. And I know the thoughts of your heart.
5 (ROH) A pripadol na mňa Duch Hospodinov a riekol mi: Povedz: Takto hovorí Hospodin: Tak hovoríte, dome Izraelov, a vašu myseľ, to, čo vystupuje vo vašom duchu, ja znám.

6 (CPDV) You have killed very many in this city, and you have filled its streets with the slain.
6 (ROH) Namnožili ste svojich pobitých v tomto meste a naplnili ste jeho ulice skolenými.

7 (CPDV) Because of this, thus says the Lord God: Your slain, whom you have placed in its midst, these are the meat, and this city is the cooking pot. And I will draw you out of its midst.

8 (CPDV) You have dread the sword, and so I will lead the sword over you, says the Lord God.

9 (CPDV) And I will cast you out of its midst, and I will give you over to the hand of the enemies, and I will execute judgments among you.
9 (ROH) A vyvediem vás zprostred neho a dám vás do ruky cudzozemcov a vykonám na vás súdy.

10 (CPDV) You will fall by the sword. I will judge you within the borders of Israel. And you shall know that I am the Lord.
10 (ROH) Od meča padnete; na pomedzí Izraelovom vás budem súdiť, a zviete, že ja som Hospodin.

11 (CPDV) This city will not be a cooking pot for you, and you will not be like meat in its midst. I will judge you within the borders of Israel.
11 (ROH) Ono vám nebude hrncom, aby ste vy boli prostred neho mäsom; na pomedzí Izraelovom vás budem súdiť.

12 (CPDV) And you shall know that I am the Lord. For you have not walked in my precepts, and you have not accomplished my judgments. Instead, you have acted in accord with the judgments of the Gentiles, who are all around you.”
12 (ROH) A zviete, že ja som Hospodin, v ktorého ustanoveniach ste nechodili ani ste nečinili mojich súdov, ale ste robili podľa súdov pohanov, ktorí sú vôkol vás.

13 (CPDV) And it happened that, when I prophesied, Pelatiah, the son of Benaiah, died. And I fell upon my face, and I cried out with a loud voice, and I said: “Alas, alas, alas, O Lord God! Will you cause the consummation of the remnant of Israel?”
Vtedy som padol na svoju tvár a skríkol som veľkým hlasom a povedal som: Ach, Pane, Hospodine, činíš koniec ostatku Izraelovmu!

14 (CPDV) And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
14 (ROH) A stalo sa slovo Hospodinovo ku mne povediac:

15 (CPDV) “Son of man, your brothers, the men among your close relatives, your brothers and the entire house of Israel, are all among those to whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said: ‘Withdraw far from the Lord; the earth has been given to us as a possession.’
15 (ROH) Synu človeka, tvoji bratia, tvoji bratia, mužovia tvojho výkupného príbuzenstva sú to, a celý dom Izraelov, všetci, ktorým vraveli obyvatelia Jeruzalema: Vzdiaľte sa od Hospodina! Nám je daná táto zem do dedičstva.

16 (CPDV) Because of this, thus says the Lord God: Since I have caused them to be far away, among the Gentiles, and since I have dispersed them among the lands, I will be a little sanctuary for them within the lands to which they have gone.
16 (ROH) Preto povedz: Takto hovorí Pán Hospodin: Keď som ich aj zahnal ďaleko medzi národy a keď som ich aj rozptýlil do rôznych zemí, ale im budem svätyňou za krátky čas v zemiach, do ktorých prišli.

17 (CPDV) Because of this, say to them: Thus says the Lord God: I will gather you from among the peoples, and I will unite you, from the lands into which you were dispersed, and I will give the soil of Israel to you.
17 (ROH) Preto povedz: Takto hovorí Pán Hospodin: A shromaždím vás z národov a soberiem vás zo zemí, do ktorých ste rozptýlení, a dám vám zem Izraelovu.

18 (CPDV) And they shall go to that place, and they shall remove all the offenses and all its abominations from that place.
18 (ROH) A vojdú ta a odpracú z nej všetky jej mrzkosti a všetky jej ohavnosti.

19 (CPDV) And I will give them one heart. And I will distribute a new spirit to their interior. And I will take away the heart of stone from their body. And I will give them a heart of flesh.
19 (ROH) A dám im jedno srdce a nového ducha dám do vášho vnútra, odstránim kamenné srdce z ich tela a dám im srdce z mäsa,

20 (CPDV) So may they may walk in my precepts, and observe my judgments, and accomplish them. And so may they be my people, and I will be their God.
20 (ROH) aby chodili v mojich ustanoveniach a ostríhali moje súdy a činili ich. A tak mi budú ľudom, a ja im budem Bohom.

21 (CPDV) But as for those whose heart walks after their offenses and abominations, I will set their own way upon their head, says the Lord God.”

22 (CPDV) And the cherubim lifted up their wings, and the wheels with them. And the glory of the God of Israel was above them.
22 (ROH) A cherubi zdvihli svoje krýdla, a kolesá vzniesly sa popri nich a sláva Boha Izraelovho nad nimi shora.

23 (CPDV) And the glory of the Lord ascended from the midst of the city and 472 stood above the mountain, which is to the east of the city.

24 (CPDV) And the Spirit lifted me up, and he brought me into Chaldea, to those of the transmigration, in a vision, in the Spirit of God. And the vision that I had seen was raised up, away from me.
24 (ROH) Potom ma vyzdvihol Duch a doviedol ma zase do Chaldejska k zajatým vo videní, v Duchu Božom.

25 (CPDV) And I spoke, to those of the transmigration, all the words of the Lord that he had revealed to me.
25 (ROH) A hovoril som zajatým všetky slová a veci Hospodinove, ktoré mi ukázal.

Ez 11, 1-25

Verš 19
And I will give them one heart. And I will distribute a new spirit to their interior. And I will take away the heart of stone from their body. And I will give them a heart of flesh.
Jer 32:39 - And I will give to them one heart and one way, so that they may fear me all their days, and so that it may be well with them, and with their sons after them.
Ez 36:26 - And I will give to you a new heart, and I will place in you a new spirit. And I will take away the heart of stone from your body, and I will give to you a heart of flesh.

Verš 20
So may they may walk in my precepts, and observe my judgments, and accomplish them. And so may they be my people, and I will be their God.
Jer 24:7 - And I will give them a heart, so that they may know me, that I am the Lord. And they will be my people, and I will be their God. For they shall return to me with their whole heart.
Jer 30:22 - And you shall be my people, and I will be your God.”
Jer 31:1 - “In that time, says the Lord, I will be the God of all the families of Israel, and they will be my people.”
Jer 32:38 - And they will be my people, and I will be their God.

Verš 21
But as for those whose heart walks after their offenses and abominations, I will set their own way upon their head, says the Lord God.”
Ez 9:10 - Therefore, my eye will not be lenient, and I will not take pity. I will repay their own way upon their head.”

Ez 11,1 - O Jezoniášovi a Feltiášovi vieme iba to, čo tu píše o nich Ezechiel.

Pozri pozn. k 2 Kr 23,33.

Ez 11,14-21 - Izraeliti, ktorí boli ešte vo vlasti, opovrhovali tými, čo už boli v zajatí, či to boli príslušníci Severnej, či Južnej ríše.
