Kniha proroka Jeremiáša

1 (HEM) בעת ההיא נאם יהוה ויציאו את עצמות מלכי יהודה ואת עצמות שריו ואת עצמות הכהנים ואת עצמות הנביאים ואת עצמות יושבי ירושלם מקבריהם׃
1 (VUL) “ In illo tempore, ait Dominus, eicient ossa regum Iudae et ossa principum eius et ossa sacerdotum et ossa prophetarum et ossa eorum, qui habitaverunt Ierusalem de sepulcris suis;

2 (HEM) ושטחום לשמש ולירח ולכל צבא השמים אשר אהבום ואשר עבדום ואשר הלכו אחריהם ואשר דרשום ואשר השתחוו להם לא יאספו ולא יקברו לדמן על פני האדמה יהיו׃
2 (VUL) et expandent ea ad solem et lunam et omnem militiam caeli, quae dilexerunt et quibus servierunt et post quae ambulaverunt et quae quaesierunt et adoraverunt; non colligentur et non sepelientur: in sterquilinium super faciem terrae erunt.
2 (KAT) a porozkladajú ich pred slnko, mesiac a celé vojsko nebies, ktoré milovali, ktorým slúžili, za ktorými chodili, u ktorých sa vyzvedali a ktorým sa klaňali. Nepozbierajú ich, ani nepochovajú, budú hnojom na roli.
2 (UKJV) "And they shall spread them before the sun, and the moon, and all the host of heaven, whom they have loved, and whom they have served, and after whom they have walked, and whom they have sought, and whom they have worshipped: they shall not be gathered, nor be buried; they shall be for dung upon the face of the earth. "

3 (HEM) ונבחר מות מחיים לכל השארית הנשארים מן המשפחה הרעה הזאת בכל המקמות הנשארים אשר הדחתים שם נאם יהוה צבאות׃
3 (VUL) Et eligent magis mortem quam vitam omnes, qui residui fuerint de cognatione hac pessima in universis locis, ad quae eiecero eos, dicit Dominus exercituum.
3 (KAT) A všetkým zvyškom, ktoré z tohto zločinného rodu ostanú, bude smrť vítanejšia ako život, na ktoromkoľvek mieste, kde ich vyženiem, hovorí Pán zástupov.
3 (UKJV) And death shall be chosen rather than life by all the residue of them that remain of this evil family, which remain in all the places where I have driven them, says the LORD of hosts.

4 (HEM) ואמרת אליהם כה אמר יהוה היפלו ולא יקומו אם ישוב ולא ישוב׃
4 (VUL) Et dices ad eos: Haec dicit Dominus: Numquid, qui cadit, non resurget, et, qui aversus est, non revertetur?
4 (KAT) A povieš im: Toto hovorí Pán: Či, kto padne, nepovstane? Či, kto sa odvráti, nenavráti sa?
4 (UKJV) "Moreover you shall say unto them, Thus says the LORD; Shall they fall, and not arise? shall he turn away, and not return? "

5 (HEM) מדוע שובבה העם הזה ירושלם משבה נצחת החזיקו בתרמית מאנו לשוב׃
5 (VUL) Quare ergo aversus est populus iste, Ierusalem aversione perpetua? Apprehenderunt mendacium et noluerunt reverti.
5 (KAT) Prečo odpadol tento ľud (Jeruzalem) odpadom trvalým? Pridŕžajú sa klamu, odmietajú sa obrátiť.
5 (UKJV) Why then is this people of Jerusalem slides back by a perpetual backsliding? they hold fast deceit, they refuse to return.

6 (HEM) הקשבתי ואשמע לוא כן ידברו אין איש נחם על רעתו לאמר מה עשיתי כלה שב במרצותם כסוס שוטף במלחמה׃
6 (VUL) Attendi et auscultavi: nemo, quod bonum est, loquitur, nullus est, qui agat paenitentiam super malitia sua dicens: “Quid feci?”. Omnes conversi sunt ad cursum suum, quasi equus impetu vadens in proelio.

7 (HEM) גם חסידה בשמים ידעה מועדיה ותר וסוס ועגור שמרו את עת באנה ועמי לא ידעו את משפט יהוה׃
7 (VUL) Etiam ciconia in caelo novit tempus suum; turtur et hirundo et turdus custodierunt tempus adventus sui; populus autem meus non novit iudicium Domini.
7 (KAT) Ešte i bocian pod nebom pozná svoje obdobie; hrdlička, lastovička, žeriav zadržia čas svojho príchodu, ale môj ľud nepozná Pánovo nariadenie.
7 (UKJV) "Yea, the stork in the heaven knows her appointed times; and the turtle and the crane and the swallow observe the time of their coming; but my people know not the judgment of the LORD. "

8 (HEM) איכה תאמרו חכמים אנחנו ותורת יהוה אתנו אכן הנה לשקר עשה עט שקר ספרים׃
8 (VUL) Quomodo dicitis: “Sapientes nos sumus, et lex Domini nobiscum est”? Vere mendacium operatus est stilus mendax scribarum.

10 (HEM) לכן אתן את נשיהם לאחרים שדותיהם ליורשים כי מקטן ועד גדול כלה בצע בצע מנביא ועד כהן כלה עשה שקר׃
10 (VUL) Propterea dabo mulieres eorum exteris, agros eorum expugnatoribus, quia a minimo usque ad maximum omnes avaritiam sequuntur, a propheta usque ad sacerdotem cuncti faciunt mendacium.
10 (KAT) Preto oddám ich ženy iným, ich polia podmaniteľom, veď od najmenšieho po najväčšieho sú ziskuchtiví všetci a od prorokov až po kňazov všetci pášu podvod.
10 (UKJV) Therefore will I give their wives unto others, and their fields to them that shall inherit them: for every one from the least even unto the greatest is given to covetousness, from the prophet even unto the priest every one deals falsely.

11 (HEM) וירפו את שבר בת עמי על נקלה לאמר שלום שלום ואין שלום׃
11 (VUL) Et sanant contritionem filiae populi mei in levitate dicentes “Pax, pax”, cum non sit pax.
11 (KAT) Liečia ranu dcéry môjho ľudu ľahkovážne. Vravia: »Pokoj! Pokoj!«, ale pokoja niet.
11 (UKJV) "For they have healed the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace. "

12 (HEM) הבשו כי תועבה עשו גם בוש לא יבשו והכלם לא ידעו לכן יפלו בנפלים בעת פקדתם יכשלו אמר יהוה׃
12 (VUL) Confusi sunt, quia abominationem fecerunt; quin immo confusione non sunt confusi et erubescere nescierunt, idcirco cadent inter corruentes, in tempore visitationis suae corruent, dicit Dominus.
12 (KAT) Zahanbení sú, veď pášu ohavnosť, ale hanbiť sa nehanbia, ani červenať sa nevedia. Preto padnú s tými, čo budú padať, v čase navštívenia klesnú, hovorí Pán.
12 (UKJV) Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore shall they fall among them that fall: in the time of their visitation they shall be cast down, says the LORD.

13 (HEM) אסף אסיפם נאם יהוה אין ענבים בגפן ואין תאנים בתאנה והעלה נבל ואתן להם יעברום׃
13 (VUL) Congregans congregabo eos, ait Dominus; non est uva in vitibus, et non sunt ficus in ficulnea, folium defluxit, et dabo eis gradientes super eos.
13 (KAT) Ak som chcel oberať - hovorí Pán, nebolo strapcov na viniči, na figovníku nebolo fíg, ale lístie uvädlo; ak som ja dával, prestupovali.

14 (KAT) »Prečože máme sedieť? Zhromaždite sa a poďme do opevnených miest, nech tam zhynieme, pretože nás zničí Pán, náš Boh, a napojí nás otrávenou vodou, lebo sme zhrešili proti Pánovi.
14 (UKJV) Why do we sit still? assemble yourselves, and let us enter into the defenced cities, and let us be silent there: for the LORD our God has put us to silence, and given us water of gall to drink, because we have sinned against the LORD.

15 (HEM) קוה לשלום ואין טוב לעת מרפה והנה בעתה׃
15 (VUL) Exspectavimus pacem, et non est bonum, tempus medelae, et ecce formido”.
15 (KAT) Čakať na pokoj? Niet nič dobrého! Na čas uzdravenia? Nuž hľa, zdesenie!«
15 (UKJV) "We looked for peace, but no good came; and for a time of health, and behold trouble! "

16 (HEM) מדן נשמע נחרת סוסיו מקול מצהלות אביריו רעשה כל הארץ ויבואו ויאכלו ארץ ומלואה עיר וישבי בה׃
16 (VUL) A Dan auditus est fremitus equorum eius, a voce hinnituum fortium equorum eius commota est omnis terra; et venient et devorabunt terram et plenitudinem eius, urbem et habitatores eius.
16 (KAT) Od Danu počuť fučať jeho kone, erdžanie jeho tátošov otriasa celú zem. Prídu a vyžerú krajinu a jej úrodu, mesto i jeho obyvateľov.
16 (UKJV) "The snorting of his horses was heard from Dan: the whole land trembled at the sound of the neighing of his strong ones; for they are come, and have devoured the land, and all that is in it; the city, and those that dwell therein. "

17 (HEM) כי הנני משלח בכם נחשים צפענים אשר אין להם לחש ונשכו אתכם נאם יהוה׃
17 (VUL) Quia ecce ego mittam vobis serpentes regulos, quibus non est incantatio, et mordebunt vos ”, ait Dominus.
17 (KAT) Lebo hľa, pošlem proti vám hady, vretenice, ktoré nemožno očarovať, i budú vás hrýzť,“ hovorí Pán.
17 (UKJV) For, behold, I will send serpents, cockatrices, among you, which will not be charmed, and they shall bite you, says the LORD.

18 (HEM) מבליגיתי עלי יגון עלי לבי דוי׃

18 (UKJV) When I would comfort myself against sorrow, my heart is faint in me.

19 (HEM) הנה קול שועת בת עמי מארץ מרחקים היהוה אין בציון אם מלכה אין בה מדוע הכעסוני בפסליהם בהבלי נכר׃
19 (VUL) Ecce vox clamoris filiae populi mei de terra longinqua: “ Numquid Dominus non est in Sion? Aut rex eius non est in ea? ”. “ Quare ergo me ad iracundiam concitaverunt in sculptilibus suis et in vanitatibus alienis? ”.

20 (HEM) עבר קציר כלה קיץ ואנחנו לוא נושענו׃
20 (VUL) “ Transiit messis, finita est aestas, et nos salvati non sumus ”.

21 (UKJV) "For the hurt of the daughter of my people am I hurt; I am black; astonishment has taken hold on me. "

22 (HEM) הצרי אין בגלעד אם רפא אין שם כי מדוע לא עלתה ארכת בת עמי׃
22 (VUL) Numquid resina non est in Galaad? Aut medicus non est ibi? Quare enim non est obducta cicatrix filiae populi mei?
22 (KAT) Či nieto balzamu v Galaáde? Či tam nieto lekára? Áno, prečo sa nezacelie rana môjho ľudu?
22 (UKJV) "Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered? "

23 (VUL) Quis dabit capiti meo aquam et oculis meis fontem lacrimarum, et plorabo die ac nocte interfectos filiae populi mei?
