43 (HEM) היו עריה לשמה ארץ ציה וערבה ארץ לא ישב בהן כל איש ולא יעבר בהן בן אדם׃
43 (VUL) Factae sunt civitates eius in stuporem, terra inhabitabilis et deserta, terra, in qua nullus habitet, nec transeat per eam filius hominis.
43 (KAT) Jeho mestá zostali púšťou, krajinou vyschnutou, pustou, krajinou, v ktorej nik nebýva, človek ani po nej neprejde.
43 (UKJV) Her cities are a desolation, a dry land, and a wilderness, a land wherein no man dwells, neither does any son of man pass thereby.

44 (HEM) ופקדתי על בל בבבל והצאתי את בלעו מפיו ולא ינהרו אליו עוד גוים גם חומת בבל נפלה׃
44 (VUL) “ Et visitabo super Bel in Babylone et eiciam, quod absorbuerat, de ore eius; et non confluent ad eum ultra gentes, siquidem et murus Babylonis corruet.
44 (KAT) „Navštívim Béla v Bábeli a vytrhnem mu z úst, čo prehltol, nebudú sa viac k nemu hrnúť národy. Aj múr Babylonu padne.
44 (UKJV) And I will punish Bel in Babylon, and I will bring forth out of his mouth that which he has swallowed up: and the nations shall not flow together any more unto him: yea, the wall of Babylon shall fall.

45 (HEM) צאו מתוכה עמי ומלטו איש את נפשו מחרון אף יהוה׃
45 (VUL) Egredimini de medio eius, populus meus, ut salvet unusquisque animam suam ab ira furoris Domini.
45 (KAT) Ľud môj, ujdi z jeho stredu, každý si zachráňte život pred blížiacim sa hnevom Pánovým.
45 (UKJV) My people, go all of you out of the midst of her, and deliver all of you every man his soul from the fierce anger of the LORD.

46 (HEM) ופן ירך לבבכם ותיראו בשמועה הנשמעת בארץ ובא בשנה השמועה ואחריו בשנה השמועה וחמס בארץ ומשל על משל׃
46 (VUL) Et ne forte mollescat cor vestrum, et timeatis auditum, qui audietur in terra; et veniet in anno auditio, et post hunc annum auditio, et iniquitas in terra, et dominator super dominatorem.
46 (KAT) Nech sa vám neplaší srdce a nebojte sa zvesti, ktorú počuť v krajine, keď jeden rok príde chýr a nasledujúci rok chýr iný, keď bude v krajine násilie, vladár proti vladárovi.
46 (UKJV) "And lest your heart faint, and all of you fear for the rumour that shall be heard in the land; a rumour shall both come one year, and after that in another year shall come a rumour, and violence in the land, ruler against ruler. "

47 (HEM) לכן הנה ימים באים ופקדתי על פסילי בבל וכל ארצה תבוש וכל חלליה יפלו בתוכה׃

48 (HEM) ורננו על בבל שמים וארץ וכל אשר בהם כי מצפון יבוא לה השודדים נאם יהוה׃
48 (VUL) Et laudabunt super Babylonem caeli et terra et omnia, quae in eis sunt, quia ab aquilone venient ei praedones, ait Dominus.
48 (KAT) Plesať bude nad Bábelom nebo a zem i všetko, čo je na nich, lebo od severu prídu proti nemu ničitelia - hovorí Pán.
48 (UKJV) Then the heaven and the earth, and all that is therein, shall sing for Babylon: for the spoilers shall come unto her from the north, says the LORD.

49 (HEM) גם בבל לנפל חללי ישראל גם לבבל נפלו חללי כל הארץ׃
49 (VUL) Et Babylon cadet, occisi in Israel, sicut pro Babylone ceciderunt occisi universae terrae.
49 (KAT) Aj Bábel musí padnúť pre zabitých Izraela; aj pre Bábel padali zabití celej zeme.
49 (UKJV) As Babylon has caused the slain of Israel to fall, so at Babylon shall fall the slain of all the earth.

50 (HEM) פלטים מחרב הלכו אל תעמדו זכרו מרחוק את יהוה וירושלם תעלה על לבבכם׃
50 (VUL) Qui fugistis gladium, ite, nolite stare; recordamini procul Domini, et Ierusalem ascendat super cor vestrum.
50 (KAT) Vy, čo ste unikli meču, choďte, nezastaňte, spomeňte si zdiaľky na Pána, nech vám príde Jeruzalem na myseľ.
50 (UKJV) All of you that have escaped the sword, go away, stand not still: remember the LORD far off, and let Jerusalem come into your mind.

51 (HEM) בשנו כי שמענו חרפה כסתה כלמה פנינו כי באו זרים על מקדשי בית יהוה׃
51 (VUL) “Confusi sumus, quoniam audivimus opprobrium; operuit ignominia facies nostras, quia venerunt alieni super sanctificationem domus Domini”.
51 (KAT) »Hanbíme sa, čuli sme o potupe, tvár nám pokrýva pohana, pretože cudzinci vnikli do svätých miest Pánovho domu.«
51 (UKJV) We are confounded, because we have heard reproach: shame has covered our faces: for strangers are come into the sanctuaries of the LORD's house.

52 (HEM) לכן הנה ימים באים נאם יהוה ופקדתי על פסיליה ובכל ארצה יאנק חלל׃
52 (VUL) Propterea ecce dies veniunt, ait Dominus, et visitabo super sculptilia eius, et in omni terra eius gemet vulneratus.
52 (KAT) Preto, hľa, prídu dni, hovorí Pán, keď strescem jeho modly a v celej jeho krajine budú stenať ranení.
52 (UKJV) Wherefore, behold, the days come, says the LORD, that I will do judgment upon her graven images: and through all her land the wounded shall groan.

53 (HEM) כי תעלה בבל השמים וכי תבצר מרום עזה מאתי יבאו שדדים לה נאם יהוה׃
53 (VUL) Si ascenderit Babylon in caelum et firmaverit in excelso robur suum, a me venient vastatores eius ”, ait Dominus.
53 (KAT) Keby sa Bábel vyvýšil do nebies a vo výsosti upevňoval svoju moc: odo mňa prídu jeho ničitelia,“ hovorí Pán.
53 (UKJV) Though Babylon should mount up to heaven, and though she should fortify the height of her strength, yet from me shall spoilers come unto her, says the LORD.

54 (HEM) קול זעקה מבבל ושבר גדול מארץ כשדים׃
54 (VUL) Vox clamoris de Babylone et contritio magna de terra Chaldaeorum,
54 (KAT) Čuj! Krik z Bábelu a veľký lomoz z krajiny Chaldejcov!
54 (UKJV) A sound of a cry comes from Babylon, and great destruction from the land of the Chaldeans:

55 (HEM) כי שדד יהוה את בבל ואבד ממנה קול גדול והמו גליהם כמים רבים נתן שאון קולם׃
55 (VUL) quoniam vastavit Dominus Babylonem et perdidit ex ea vocem magnam; et sonabunt fluctus eorum quasi aquae multae, dedit sonitum vox eorum.
55 (KAT) Lebo Pán pustoší Babylon, udúša v ňom veľký krik. Ich vlny sa valia sťa veľké vody, hukot vydáva ich hlas.
55 (UKJV) "Because the LORD has spoiled Babylon, and destroyed out of her the great voice; when her waves do roar like great waters, a noise of their voice is uttered: "

56 (HEM) כי בא עליה על בבל שודד ונלכדו גבוריה חתתה קשתותם כי אל גמלות יהוה שלם ישלם׃
56 (VUL) Quia venit super eam, id est super Babylonem, praedo; et apprehensi sunt fortes eius, et fractus est arcus eorum, quia Deus ultor Dominus reddens retribuet.
56 (KAT) Veď (proti nemu), proti Bábelu prichádza ničiteľ, chytia jeho hrdinov, zlámu ich kuše, veď Bohom odplaty je Pán, odpláca s určitosťou.
56 (UKJV) Because the spoiler has come upon her, even upon Babylon, and her mighty men are taken, every one of their bows is broken: for the LORD God of recompences shall surely requite.

57 (HEM) והשכרתי שריה וחכמיה פחותיה וסגניה וגבוריה וישנו שנת עולם ולא יקיצו נאם המלך יהוה צבאות שמו׃
57 (VUL) “ Et inebriabo principes eius et sapientes eius et duces eius et magistratus eius et fortes eius; et dormient somnum sempiternum et non expergiscentur ”, ait rex, Dominus exercituum nomen eius.

59 (UKJV) The word which Jeremiah the prophet commanded Seraiah the son of Neriah, the son of Maaseiah, when he went with Zedekiah the king of Judah into Babylon in the fourth year of his reign. And this Seraiah was a quiet prince.

60 (HEM) ויכתב ירמיהו את כל הרעה אשר תבוא אל בבל אל ספר אחד את כל הדברים האלה הכתבים אל בבל׃
60 (VUL) Et scripsit Ieremias omne malum, quod venturum erat super Babylonem, in libro uno, omnia verba haec, quae scripta sunt contra Babylonem.
60 (KAT) Jeremiáš napísal do knihy všetko nešťastie, ktoré malo prísť na Babylon, všetky tieto slová napísané proti Babylonu.

62 (VUL) dices: “Domine, tu locutus es contra locum istum, ut disperderes eum, ne sit qui in eo habitet ab homine usque ad pecus, et ut sit perpetua solitudo”.
62 (KAT) A povedz: »Pane, ty si riekol o tomto mieste, že ho zničia, že v ňom nebude obyvateľov - ani ľudí, ani zvierat -, bude večnou púšťou.«
62 (UKJV) Then shall you say, O LORD, you have spoken against this place, to cut it off, that none shall remain in it, neither man nor beast, but that it shall be desolate for ever.

63 (HEM) והיה ככלתך לקרא את הספר הזה תקשר עליו אבן והשלכתו אל תוך פרת׃
63 (VUL) Cumque compleveris legere librum istum, ligabis ad eum lapidem et proicies illum in medium Euphraten
63 (KAT) A keď dočítaš túto knihu, priviaž o ňu kameň a hoď ju do prostriedku Eufratu
63 (UKJV) And it shall be, when you have made an end of reading this book, that you shall bind a stone to it, and cast it into the midst of Euphrates:

64 (HEM) ואמרת ככה תשקע בבל ולא תקום מפני הרעה אשר אנכי מביא עליה ויעפו עד הנה דברי ירמיהו׃
64 (VUL) et dices: “Sic submergetur Babylon et non consurget a facie afflictionis, quam ego adduco super eam, et dissolvetur” ”. Hucusque verba Ieremiae.
64 (KAT) a povedz: »Takto sa ponorí Bábel a nevstane z nešťastia, ktoré naň ja dopustím, ale zahynie.«“ Potiaľto sú Jeremiášove slová.
64 (UKJV) And you shall say, Thus shall Babylon sink, and shall not rise from the evil that I will bring upon her: and they shall be weary. Thus far are the words of Jeremiah.
