1 (HEM) הדבר אשר היה אל ירמיהו אל כל היהודים הישבים בארץ מצרים הישבים במגדל ובתחפנחס ובנף ובארץ פתרוס לאמר׃
1 (VUL) Verbum, quod factum est per Ieremiam ad omnes Iudaeos, qui habitabant in terra Aegypti, habitantes in Magdolo et in Taphnis et in Memphi et in terra Phatures, dicens:
1 (KAT) Slovo, ktoré Jeremiáš dostal pre všetkých Júdovcov, ktorí bývajú v egyptskej krajine, ktorí bývajú v Magdole, Tafnese, Nófe a v krajine Patros.
1 (UKJV) The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the Jews which dwell in the land of Egypt, which dwell at Migdol, and at Tahpanhes, and at Noph, and in the country of Pathros, saying,

2 (HEM) כה אמר יהוה צבאות אלהי ישראל אתם ראיתם את כל הרעה אשר הבאתי על ירושלם ועל כל ערי יהודה והנם חרבה היום הזה ואין בהם יושב׃
2 (VUL) “ Haec dicit Dominus exercituum, Deus Israel: Vos vidistis omne malum istud, quod adduxi super Ierusalem et super omnes urbes Iudae; et ecce desertae sunt hodie, et non est in eis habitator
2 (KAT) „Vy ste videli všetko nešťastie, ktoré som dopustil na Jeruzalem a na všetky júdske mestá. Pozrite, dnes sú opustené, niet v nich obyvateľov
2 (UKJV) "Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; All of you have seen all the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, and upon all the cities of Judah; and, behold, this day they are a desolation, and no man dwells therein, "

3 (HEM) מפני רעתם אשר עשו להכעסני ללכת לקטר לעבד לאלהים אחרים אשר לא ידעום המה אתם ואבתיכם׃
3 (VUL) propter malitiam, quam fecerunt, ut me ad iracundiam provocarent et irent, ut sacrificarent et colerent deos alienos, quos nesciebant et illi et vos et patres vestri.
3 (KAT) pre zločin, ktorý páchali, aby ma popudzovali, keď chodili okiadzať a uctievať cudzích bohov, ktorých nepoznali ani oni, ani vy, ani vaši otcovia.
3 (UKJV) Because of their wickedness which they have committed to provoke me to anger, in that they went to burn incense, and to serve other gods, whom they knew not, neither they, all of you, nor your fathers.

4 (HEM) ואשלח אליכם את כל עבדי הנביאים השכים ושלח לאמר אל נא תעשו את דבר התעבה הזאת אשר שנאתי׃
4 (VUL) Et misi ad vos omnes servos meos prophetas, de nocte consurgens mittensque et dicens: Nolite facere verbum abominationis huiuscemodi, quam odivi.
4 (KAT) I posielal som k vám rozličných svojich sluhov, prorokov; jednostaj som ich posielal s odkazom: Nerobte tú ohavnú vec, ktorú nenávidím!
4 (UKJV) Nevertheless I sent unto you all my servants the prophets, rising early and sending them, saying, Oh, do not this abominable thing that I hate.

5 (HEM) ולא שמעו ולא הטו את אזנם לשוב מרעתם לבלתי קטר לאלהים אחרים׃
5 (VUL) Et non audierunt nec inclinaverunt aurem suam, ut converterentur a malis suis et non sacrificarent diis alienis;
5 (KAT) Ale nepočúvali a nepriklonili si ucho, aby sa odvrátili od svojho zločinu a aby neokiadzali cudzích bohov.
5 (UKJV) But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear to turn from their wickedness, to burn no incense unto other gods.

6 (HEM) ותתך חמתי ואפי ותבער בערי יהודה ובחצות ירושלם ותהיינה לחרבה לשממה כיום הזה׃
6 (VUL) et effusa est indignatio mea et furor meus et succensa est in civitatibus Iudae et in plateis Ierusalem, et versae sunt in solitudinem et vastitatem secundum diem hanc.
6 (KAT) Preto vzkypela moja zlosť a môj hnev sa rozpálil na júdske mestá a na jeruzalemské ulice, takže zostali zrúcaniskom a púšťou, ako sú dnes.
6 (UKJV) "Wherefore my fury and mine anger was poured forth, and was kindled in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem; and they are wasted and desolate, as at this day. "

7 (HEM) ועתה כה אמר יהוה אלהי צבאות אלהי ישראל למה אתם עשים רעה גדולה אל נפשתכם להכרית לכם איש ואשה עולל ויונק מתוך יהודה לבלתי הותיר לכם שארית׃
7 (VUL) Et nunc haec dicit Dominus exercituum, Deus Israel: Quare vos facitis malum grande contra animas vestras, ut intereat ex vobis vir et mulier, parvulus et lactans de medio Iudae, nec relinquatur vobis quidquam residuum,
7 (KAT) Teraz však toto hovorí Pán, Boh zástupov, Boh Izraela: Prečo páchate proti sebe samým taký veľký zločin? Chcete si z Júdu vykynožiť mužov i ženy, deti i dojčence, aby z vás neostal ani zvyšok,
7 (UKJV) "Therefore now thus says the LORD, the God of hosts, the God of Israel; Wherefore commit all of you this great evil against your souls, to cut off from you man and woman, child and nursing infant, out of Judah, to leave you none to remain; "

8 (HEM) להכעסני במעשי ידיכם לקטר לאלהים אחרים בארץ מצרים אשר אתם באים לגור שם למען הכרית לכם ולמען היותכם לקללה ולחרפה בכל גויי הארץ׃
8 (VUL) provocantes me in operibus manuum vestrarum, sacrificando diis alienis in terra Aegypti, in quam ingressi estis, ut ibi peregrinemini, et dissipet vos, et sitis in maledictionem et in opprobrium cunctis gentibus terrae?
8 (KAT) keď ma popudzujete dielami svojich rúk a okiadzate cudzích bohov v egyptskej krajine, do ktorej ste šli bývať? Chcete sa vyhubiť, chcete byť kliatbou a posmechom medzi všetkými národmi zeme?
8 (UKJV) In that all of you provoke me unto wrath with the works of your hands, burning incense unto other gods in the land of Egypt, where all of you be gone to dwell, that all of you might cut yourselves off, and that all of you might be a curse and a reproach among all the nations of the earth?

9 (HEM) השכחתם את רעות אבותיכם ואת רעות מלכי יהודה ואת רעות נשיו ואת רעתכם ואת רעת נשיכם אשר עשו בארץ יהודה ובחצות ירושלם׃
9 (VUL) Numquid obliti estis mala patrum vestrorum et mala regum Iudae et mala uxorum eius et mala vestra et mala uxorum vestrarum, quae fecerunt in terra Iudae et in plateis Ierusalem?
9 (KAT) Nuž či ste zabudli na zločiny svojich otcov, na zločiny júdskych kráľov, na zločiny ich kniežat, na svoje vlastné zločiny a na zločiny svojich žien, ktoré popáchali v júdskej krajine a na uliciach Jeruzalema?
9 (UKJV) Have all of you forgotten the wickedness of your fathers, and the wickedness of the kings of Judah, and the wickedness of their wives, and your own wickedness, and the wickedness of your wives, which they have committed in the land of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem?

10 (HEM) לא דכאו עד היום הזה ולא יראו ולא הלכו בתורתי ובחקתי אשר נתתי לפניכם ולפני אבותיכם׃
10 (VUL) Non sunt contriti usque ad diem hanc et non timuerunt et non ambulaverunt in lege mea et in praeceptis meis, quae dedi coram vobis et coram patribus vestris.
10 (KAT) Do tohto dňa sa nepokorujú, ani sa neboja, ani nekráčajú podľa môjho zákona a mojich príkazov, ktoré som dal im a ich otcom.
10 (UKJV) They are not humbled even unto this day, neither have they feared, nor walked in my law, nor in my statutes, that I set before you and before your fathers.

11 (HEM) לכן כה אמר יהוה צבאות אלהי ישראל הנני שם פני בכם לרעה ולהכרית את כל יהודה׃
11 (VUL) Ideo haec dicit Dominus exercituum, Deus Israel: Ecce ego ponam faciem meam in vobis in malum et disperdam omnem Iudam.
11 (KAT) Preto takto hovorí Pán zástupov, Boh Izraela: Obrátim svoju tvár proti vám na nešťastie; chcem vyhubiť celého Júdu.
11 (UKJV) "Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will set my face against you for evil, and to cut off all Judah. "

12 (HEM) ולקחתי את שארית יהודה אשר שמו פניהם לבוא ארץ מצרים לגור שם ותמו כל בארץ מצרים יפלו בחרב ברעב יתמו מקטן ועד גדול בחרב וברעב ימתו והיו לאלה לשמה ולקללה ולחרפה׃
12 (VUL) Et assumam reliquias Iudae, qui posuerunt facies suas, ut ingrederentur terram Aegypti et peregrinarentur ibi, et consumentur omnes in terra Aegypti: cadent in gladio et in fame et consumentur a minimo usque ad maximum, in gladio et in fame morientur; et erunt in exsecrationem et in stuporem et in maledictionem et in opprobrium.

12 (UKJV) "And I will take the remnant of Judah, that have set their faces to go into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, and they shall all be consumed, and fall in the land of Egypt; they shall even be consumed by the sword and by the famine: they shall die, from the least even unto the greatest, by the sword and by the famine: and they shall be an execration, and an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach. "

13 (HEM) ופקדתי על היושבים בארץ מצרים כאשר פקדתי על ירושלם בחרב ברעב ובדבר׃
13 (VUL) Et visitabo super habitatores terrae Aegypti, sicut visitavi super Ierusalem, in gladio et in fame et in peste:

13 (UKJV) For I will punish them that dwell in the land of Egypt, as I have punished Jerusalem, by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence:

14 (HEM) ולא יהיה פליט ושריד לשארית יהודה הבאים לגור שם בארץ מצרים ולשוב ארץ יהודה אשר המה מנשאים את נפשם לשוב לשבת שם כי לא ישובו כי אם פלטים׃
14 (VUL) et non erit qui effugiat et sit residuus de reliquiis Iudaeorum, qui venerunt, ut peregrinarentur in terra Aegypti et reverterentur in terram Iudae, ad quam ipsi elevant animas suas, ut revertantur et habitent ibi; non revertentur, nisi qui fugerint ”.
14 (KAT) A zo zvyškov Júdu, ktoré išli bývať do egyptskej krajiny, nebude oslobodených ani zachránených, čo by sa vrátili do júdskej krajiny, hoci ich túžba tiahne vrátiť sa a bývať tam. No nevrátia sa, iba tí, čo utečú.“
14 (UKJV) So that none of the remnant of Judah, which are gone into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, shall escape or remain, that they should return into the land of Judah, to the which they have a desire to return to dwell there: for none shall return but such as shall escape.

15 (HEM) ויענו את ירמיהו כל האנשים הידעים כי מקטרות נשיהם לאלהים אחרים וכל הנשים העמדות קהל גדול וכל העם הישבים בארץ מצרים בפתרוס לאמר׃
15 (VUL) Responderunt autem Ieremiae omnes viri, scientes quod sacrificarent uxores eorum diis alienis, et universae mulieres, quarum stabat multitudo grandis, et omnis populus habitantium in terra Aegypti in Phatures, dicentes:
15 (KAT) Nato všetci mužovia, ktorí vedeli, že ich ženy okiadzajú cudzích bohov, i ženy, ktoré stáli vo veľkom zástupe, a všetok ľud, ktorý býval v egyptskej krajine a v Patrose, odpovedal Jeremiášovi takto:
15 (UKJV) Then all the men which knew that their wives had burned incense unto other gods, and all the women that stood by, a great multitude, even all the people that dwelt in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah, saying,

16 (HEM) הדבר אשר דברת אלינו בשם יהוה איננו שמעים אליך׃
16 (VUL) “ Sermonem, quem locutus es ad nos in nomine Domini, non audiemus ex te,
16 (KAT) „Vo veci, ktorú si nám hovoril v mene Pána, ťa neposlúchneme.
16 (UKJV) As for the word that you have spoken unto us in the name of the LORD, we will not hearken unto you.

17 (HEM) כי עשה נעשה את כל הדבר אשר יצא מפינו לקטר למלכת השמים והסיך לה נסכים כאשר עשינו אנחנו ואבתינו מלכינו ושרינו בערי יהודה ובחצות ירושלם ונשבע לחם ונהיה טובים ורעה לא ראינו׃
17 (VUL) sed facientes faciemus omne verbum, quod egressum est de ore nostro, ut sacrificemus reginae caeli et libemus ei libamina, sicut fecimus nos et patres nostri, reges nostri et principes nostri in urbibus Iudae et in plateis Ierusalem, et saturati sumus panibus et bene nobis erat malumque non vidimus.
17 (KAT) Naopak, budeme robiť všetko, čo naše ústa posľubovali: budeme páliť kadidlo kráľovnej neba, budeme jej liať nápojové obety, ako sme to robili my i naši otcovia, naši králi i naše kniežatá v mestách Júdska a po uliciach Jeruzalema. 17 (UKJV) But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goes forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil.

18 (HEM) ומן אז חדלנו לקטר למלכת השמים והסך לה נסכים חסרנו כל ובחרב וברעב תמנו׃
18 (VUL) Ex eo autem tempore, quo cessavimus sacrificare reginae caeli et libare ei libamina, indigemus omnibus et gladio et fame consumpti sumus.
18 (KAT) Odkedy sme však prestali páliť kadidlo kráľovnej neba a vylievať jej nápojové obety, všetko nám chýba a nivočí nás meč i hlad.
18 (UKJV) But since we left off to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, we have wanted all things, and have been consumed by the sword and by the famine.

19 (HEM) וכי אנחנו מקטרים למלכת השמים ולהסך לה נסכים המבלעדי אנשינו עשינו לה כונים להעצבה והסך לה נסכים׃
19 (VUL) Quod si nos sacrificamus reginae caeli et libamus ei libamina, numquid sine viris nostris fecimus ei placentas ad effingendum eam et libandum ei libamina? ”.
19 (KAT) A keď pálime kadidlo kráľovnej neba a vylievame jej na obetu nápoje, robíme vari bez svojich mužov koláčiky s jej obrazom a lejeme jej nápojové obety?“
19 (UKJV) And when we burned incense to the queen of heaven, and poured out drink offerings unto her, did we make her cakes to worship her, and pour out drink offerings unto her, without our men?

20 (HEM) ויאמר ירמיהו אל כל העם על הגברים ועל הנשים ועל כל העם הענים אתו דבר לאמר׃
20 (VUL) Et dixit Ieremias ad omnem populum, adversum viros et adversum mulieres et adversum universam plebem, qui responderant ei verbum, dicens:
20 (KAT) Vtedy Jeremiáš hovoril celému národu, mužom, ženám a všetkým, čo mu odpovedali:
20 (UKJV) Then Jeremiah said unto all the people, to the men, and to the women, and to all the people which had given him that answer, saying,

21 (HEM) הלוא את הקטר אשר קטרתם בערי יהודה ובחצות ירושלם אתם ואבותיכם מלכיכם ושריכם ועם הארץ אתם זכר יהוה ותעלה על לבו׃
21 (VUL) “ Numquid non sacrificium, quod sacrificastis in civitatibus Iudae et in plateis Ierusalem, vos et patres vestri, reges vestri et principes vestri et populus terrae, horum recordatus est Dominus, et ascendit super cor eius?

21 (UKJV) The incense that all of you burned in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, all of you, and your fathers, your kings, and your princes, and the people of the land, did not the LORD remember them, and came it not into his mind?

22 (HEM) ולא יוכל יהוה עוד לשאת מפני רע מעלליכם מפני התועבת אשר עשיתם ותהי ארצכם לחרבה ולשמה ולקללה מאין יושב כהיום הזה׃
22 (VUL) Et non poterat Dominus ultra portare propter malitiam operum vestrorum et propter abominationes, quas fecistis; et facta est terra vestra in desolationem et in stuporem et in maledictum, eo quod non sit habitator, sicut est dies haec.
22 (KAT) A pán už nevládal znášať vaše zločinné skutky a vaše ohavnosti, ktoré ste páchali, preto vám ostala krajina púšťou, hrôzou a kliatbou bez obyvateľov, ako je dnes.
22 (UKJV) "So that the LORD could no longer bear, because of the evil of your doings, and because of the abominations which all of you have committed; therefore is your land a desolation, and an astonishment, and a curse, without an inhabitant, as at this day. "

23 (HEM) מפני אשר קטרתם ואשר חטאתם ליהוה ולא שמעתם בקול יהוה ובתרתו ובחקתיו ובעדותיו לא הלכתם על כן קראת אתכם הרעה הזאת כיום הזה׃
23 (VUL) Propterea quod sacrificaveritis et peccaveritis Domino et non audieritis vocem Domini et in lege et in praeceptis et in testimoniis eius non ambulaveritis, idcirco evenerunt vobis mala haec, sicut est dies haec ”.

23 (UKJV) "Because all of you have burned incense, and because all of you have sinned against the LORD, and have not obeyed the voice of the LORD, nor walked in his law, nor in his statutes, nor in his testimonies; therefore this evil is happened unto you, as at this day. "

24 (HEM) ויאמר ירמיהו אל כל העם ואל כל הנשים שמעו דבר יהוה כל יהודה אשר בארץ מצרים׃
24 (VUL) Dixit autem Ieremias ad omnem populum et ad universas mulieres: “ Audite verbum Domini, omnis Iuda, qui estis in terra Aegypti.

24 (UKJV) Moreover Jeremiah said unto all the people, and to all the women, Hear the word of the LORD, all Judah that are in the land of Egypt:

25 (HEM) כה אמר יהוה צבאות אלהי ישראל לאמר אתם ונשיכם ותדברנה בפיכם ובידיכם מלאתם לאמר עשה נעשה את נדרינו אשר נדרנו לקטר למלכת השמים ולהסך לה נסכים הקים תקימנה את נדריכם ועשה תעשינה את נדריכם׃
25 (VUL) Haec dicit Dominus exercituum, Deus Israel, dicens: Vos et uxores vestrae locuti estis ore vestro et manibus vestris implestis dicentes: “Faciamus vota nostra, quae vovimus, ut sacrificemus reginae caeli et libemus ei libamina”. Implete vota vestra et opere perpetrate ea.

25 (UKJV) "Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying; All of you and your wives have both spoken with your mouths, and fulfilled with your hand, saying, We will surely perform our vows that we have vowed, to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her: all of you will surely accomplish your vows, and surely perform your vows. "

26 (HEM) לכן שמעו דבר יהוה כל יהודה הישבים בארץ מצרים הנני נשבעתי בשמי הגדול אמר יהוה אם יהיה עוד שמי נקרא בפי כל איש יהודה אמר חי אדני יהוה בכל ארץ מצרים׃
26 (VUL) Ideo audite verbum Domini, omnis Iuda, qui habitatis in terra Aegypti: Ecce ego iuravi in nomine meo magno, ait Dominus, quia nequaquam ultra vocabitur nomen meum ex ore omnis viri Iudae dicentis: “Vivit Dominus Deus”, in omni terra Aegypti.
26 (KAT) Čujte teda slovo Pánovo, všetci Júdovci, ktorí bývate v egyptskej krajine: Hľa, na svoje veľké meno prisahám - hovorí Pán: V celej egyptskej krajine nebude nijaký júdsky človek vzývať moje meno slovami: »Tak, ako žije Pán, Jahve!«
26 (UKJV) "Therefore hear all of you the word of the LORD, all Judah that dwell in the land of Egypt; Behold, I have sworn by my great name, says the LORD, that my name shall no more be named in the mouth of any man of Judah in all the land of Egypt, saying, The Lord GOD lives. "

27 (HEM) הנני שקד עליהם לרעה ולא לטובה ותמו כל איש יהודה אשר בארץ מצרים בחרב וברעב עד כלותם׃
27 (VUL) Ecce ego vigilabo super eos in malum et non in bonum, et consumentur omnes viri Iudae, qui sunt in terra Aegypti, gladio et fame, donec penitus consumantur.
27 (KAT) Hľa, budem bedliť nad nimi na nešťastie, nie na šťastie; a všetci júdski mužovia, ktorí sú v egyptskej krajine, budú hynúť mečom a hladom, kým nevyhynú.
27 (UKJV) Behold, I will watch over them for evil, and not for good: and all the men of Judah that are in the land of Egypt shall be consumed by the sword and by the famine, until there be an end of them.

28 (HEM) ופליטי חרב ישבון מן ארץ מצרים ארץ יהודה מתי מספר וידעו כל שארית יהודה הבאים לארץ מצרים לגור שם דבר מי יקום ממני ומהם׃
28 (VUL) Et, qui fugerint gladium, revertentur de terra Aegypti in terram Iudae, viri pauci, et scient omnes reliquiae Iudae, quae ingressae sunt terram Aegypti, ut peregrinarentur ibi, cuius sermo compleatur, meus an illorum.

29 (HEM) וזאת לכם האות נאם יהוה כי פקד אני עליכם במקום הזה למען תדעו כי קום יקומו דברי עליכם לרעה׃
29 (VUL) Et hoc vobis signum, ait Dominus, quod visitem ego super vos in loco isto, ut sciatis quia vere complebuntur sermones mei contra vos in malum.
29 (KAT) A toto vám bude znamením - hovorí Pán -, že vás navštívim na tomto mieste, aby ste vedeli, že sa určite na vás splnia moje slová na vaše nešťastie.
29 (UKJV) And this shall be a sign unto you, says the LORD, that I will punish you in this place, that all of you may know that my words shall surely stand against you for evil:
