1 (HEM) ויהי ככלות ירמיהו לדבר אל כל העם את כל דברי יהוה אלהיהם אשר שלחו יהוה אלהיהם אליהם את כל הדברים האלה׃
1 (VUL) Factum est autem, cum complesset Ieremias loquens ad populum universos sermones Domini Dei eorum, pro quibus miserat eum Dominus Deus eorum ad illos omnia verba haec,

1 (UKJV) And it came to pass, that when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking unto all the people all the words of the LORD their God, for which the LORD their God had sent him to them, even all these words,

2 (HEM) ויאמר עזריה בן הושעיה ויוחנן בן קרח וכל האנשים הזדים אמרים אל ירמיהו שקר אתה מדבר לא שלחך יהוה אלהינו לאמר לא תבאו מצרים לגור שם׃
2 (VUL) dixit Azarias filius Osaiae et Iohanan filius Caree et omnes viri superbi dicentes ad Ieremiam: “ Mendacium tu loqueris; non misit te Dominus Deus noster dicens: “Ne ingrediamini Aegyptum, ut illic peregrinemini”,

3 (HEM) כי ברוך בן נריה מסית אתך בנו למען תת אתנו ביד הכשדים להמית אתנו ולהגלות אתנו בבל׃

3 (UKJV) But Baruch the son of Neriah sets you on against us, in order to deliver us into the hand of the Chaldeans, that they might put us to death, and carry us away captives into Babylon.

4 (HEM) ולא שמע יוחנן בן קרח וכל שרי החילים וכל העם בקול יהוה לשבת בארץ יהודה׃
4 (VUL) Et non audivit Iohanan filius Caree et omnes principes bellatorum et universus populus vocem Domini, ut manerent in terra Iudae.
4 (KAT) Jochanan, syn Kareho, velitelia oddielov a všetok ľud nepočúvali teda na Pánov hlas, aby zostali v júdskej krajine.
4 (UKJV) So Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces, and all the people, obeyed not the voice of the LORD, to dwell in the land of Judah.

5 (HEM) ויקח יוחנן בן קרח וכל שרי החילים את כל שארית יהודה אשר שבו מכל הגוים אשר נדחו שם לגור בארץ יהודה׃
5 (VUL) Sed tollens Iohanan filius Caree et universi principes bellatorum universos reliquiarum Iudae, qui reversi fuerant de cunctis gentibus, ad quas fuerant ante dispersi, ut peregrinarentur in terra Iudae,

5 (UKJV) "But Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces, took all the remnant of Judah, that were returned from all nations, where they had been driven, to dwell in the land of Judah; "

6 (HEM) את הגברים ואת הנשים ואת הטף ואת בנות המלך ואת כל הנפש אשר הניח נבוזראדן רב טבחים את גדליהו בן אחיקם בן שפן ואת ירמיהו הנביא ואת ברוך בן נריהו׃
6 (VUL) viros et mulieres et parvulos et filias regis et omnem animam, quam reliquerat Nabuzardan princeps satellitum cum Godolia filio Ahicam filii Saphan, et Ieremiam prophetam et Baruch filium Neriae,

7 (HEM) ויבאו ארץ מצרים כי לא שמעו בקול יהוה ויבאו עד תחפנחס׃

7 (KAT) a išli do egyptskej krajiny, lebo nepočúvali Pánov hlas. Išli až po Tafnes.
7 (UKJV) So they came into the land of Egypt: for they obeyed not the voice of the LORD: thus came they even to Tahpanhes.

8 (HEM) ויהי דבר יהוה אל ירמיהו בתחפנחס לאמר׃
8 (VUL) Et factus est sermo Domini ad Ieremiam in Taphnis dicens:
8 (KAT) V Tafnese však prehovoril Pán k Jeremiášovi toto slovo:
8 (UKJV) Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah in Tahpanhes, saying,

9 (HEM) קח בידך אבנים גדלות וטמנתם במלט במלבן אשר בפתח בית פרעה בתחפנחס לעיני אנשים יהודים׃
9 (VUL) “ Sume lapides grandes in manu tua et absconde eos in caemento, sub pavimento, quod est ad portam domus pharaonis in Taphnis, cernentibus viris Iudaeis;

11 (HEM) ובאה והכה את ארץ מצרים אשר למות למות ואשר לשבי לשבי ואשר לחרב לחרב׃

13 (HEM) ושבר את מצבות בית שמש אשר בארץ מצרים ואת בתי אלהי מצרים ישרף באש׃
