1 (HEM) בשנה התשעית לצדקיהו מלך יהודה בחדש העשרי בא נבוכדראצר מלך בבל וכל חילו אל ירושלם ויצרו עליה׃
1 (VUL) Anno nono Sedeciae regis Iudae, mense decimo, venit Nabuchodonosor rex Babylonis et omnis exercitus eius ad Ierusalem et obsidebant eam.
1 (KAT) (V deviatom roku júdskeho kráľa Sedekiáša, v desiatom mesiaci, pritiahol babylonský kráľ Nabuchodonozor a celé jeho vojsko k Jeruzalemu a obliehal ho.
1 (UKJV) In the ninth year of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the tenth month, came Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon and all his army against Jerusalem, and they besieged it.

2 (HEM) בעשתי עשרה שנה לצדקיהו בחדש הרביעי בתשעה לחדש הבקעה העיר׃
2 (VUL) Undecimo autem anno Sedeciae, mense quarto, nona mensis, aperta est civitas;
2 (KAT) V jedenástom roku Sedekiáša, v štvrtom mesiaci, piaty deň mesiaca, prelomili hradby),
2 (UKJV) And in the eleventh year of Zedekiah, in the fourth month, the ninth day of the month, the city was broken up.

3 (HEM) ויבאו כל שרי מלך בבל וישבו בשער התוך נרגל שר אצר סמגר נבו שר סכים רב סריס נרגל שר אצר רב מג וכל שארית שרי מלך בבל׃
3 (VUL) et ingressi sunt omnes principes regis Babylonis et sederunt in porta Media: Nergelsereser Samegarnabu, Sarsachim princeps eunuchorum, Nergelsereser princeps magorum et omnes reliqui principes regis Babylonis.
3 (KAT) vošli všetci vojvodcovia babylonského kráľa a usadili sa v strednej bráne: veliteľ telesnej stráže Nabuzardan, rab-saris Nabušerban, rab-mág Nergalsareser a všetci ostatní vojvodcovia babylonského kráľa.
3 (UKJV) And all the princes of the king of Babylon came in, and sat in the middle gate, even Nergalsharezer, Samgarnebo, Sarsechim, Rabsaris, Nergalsharezer, Rabmag, with all the residue of the princes of the king of Babylon.

4 (HEM) ויהי כאשר ראם צדקיהו מלך יהודה וכל אנשי המלחמה ויברחו ויצאו לילה מן העיר דרך גן המלך בשער בין החמתים ויצא דרך הערבה׃
4 (VUL) Cumque vidisset eos Sedecias rex Iudae et omnes viri bellatores, fugerunt et egressi sunt nocte de civitate per viam horti regis et per portam, quae erat inter duos muros, et egressi sunt ad viam Arabae.
4 (KAT) Keď ich však júdsky kráľ Sedekiáš a všetci bojovníci uvideli, ušli; v noci vytiahli z mesta cestou cez kráľovskú záhradu, cez bránu medzi dvoma múrmi, a dali sa smerom k Arabe.
4 (UKJV) And it came to pass, that when Zedekiah the king of Judah saw them, and all the men of war, then they fled, and went forth out of the city by night, by the way of the king's garden, by the gate between the two walls: and he went out the way of the plain.

5 (HEM) וירדפו חיל כשדים אחריהם וישגו את צדקיהו בערבות ירחו ויקחו אתו ויעלהו אל נבוכדראצר מלך בבל רבלתה בארץ חמת וידבר אתו משפטים׃
5 (VUL) Persecutus est autem eos exercitus Chaldaeorum; et comprehenderunt Sedeciam in campestribus Iericho et captum adduxerunt ad Nabuchodonosor regem Babylonis in Rebla, quae est in terra Emath; et locutus est ad eum iudicia.
5 (KAT) Chaldejské vojsko ich prenasledovalo, Sedekiáša dochytili na Jerišských poliach, zajali ho, zaviedli k babylonskému kráľovi Nabuchodonozorovi do Rebly v krajine Emat a on vyriekol nad ním súd.
5 (UKJV) But the Chaldeans' army pursued after them, and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho: and when they had taken him, they brought him up to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon to Riblah in the land of Hamath, where he gave judgment upon him.

6 (HEM) וישחט מלך בבל את בני צדקיהו ברבלה לעיניו ואת כל חרי יהודה שחט מלך בבל׃
6 (VUL) Et occidit rex Babylonis filios Sedeciae in Rebla in oculis eius, et omnes nobiles Iudae occidit rex Babylonis;
6 (KAT) Babylonský kráľ dal v Reble pobiť Sedekiášových synov pred jeho očami; aj všetkých jeruzalemských šľachticov dal babylonský kráľ pobiť.
6 (UKJV) Then the king of Babylon slew the sons of Zedekiah in Riblah before his eyes: also the king of Babylon slew all the nobles of Judah.

7 (HEM) ואת עיני צדקיהו עור ויאסרהו בנחשתים לביא אתו בבלה׃
7 (VUL) oculos quoque Sedeciae eruit et vinxit eum compedibus, ut duceretur in Babylonem.
7 (KAT) Sedekiášovi oslepil oči a spútal ho okovami, aby ho odviedol do Babylonu.
7 (UKJV) Moreover he put out Zedekiah's eyes, and bound him with chains, to carry him to Babylon.

8 (HEM) ואת בית המלך ואת בית העם שרפו הכשדים באש ואת חמות ירושלם נתצו׃
8 (VUL) Domum quoque regis et domum vulgi succenderunt Chaldaei igni; et murum Ierusalem subverterunt.
8 (KAT) Kráľov dom a domy ľudí Chaldejci vypálili a múry Jeruzalema zrúcali.
8 (UKJV) And the Chaldeans burned the king's house, and the houses of the people, with fire, and brake down the walls of Jerusalem.

9 (HEM) ואת יתר העם הנשארים בעיר ואת הנפלים אשר נפלו עליו ואת יתר העם הנשארים הגלה נבוזר אדן רב טבחים בבל׃
9 (VUL) Et reliquias populi, quae remanserant in civitate, et perfugas, qui transfugerant ad eum, et superfluos artificum, qui remanserant, transtulit Nabuzardan magister satellitum in Babylonem.
9 (KAT) Zvyšok ľudí, ktorí ešte zostali v meste, utečencov, ktorí ušli k nemu, a všetok ostatný ľud odviedol veliteľ telesnej stráže Nabuzardan do Babylonu.
9 (UKJV) Then Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive into Babylon the remnant of the people that remained in the city, and those that fell away, that fell to him, with the rest of the people that remained.

10 (HEM) ומן העם הדלים אשר אין להם מאומה השאיר נבוזראדן רב טבחים בארץ יהודה ויתן להם כרמים ויגבים ביום ההוא׃
10 (VUL) Et de plebe pauperum, qui nihil penitus habebant, dimisit Nabuzardan magister satellitum in terra Iudae; et dedit eis vineas et agros in die illa.
10 (KAT) Ale najchudobnejších ľudí, ktorí nemali nič, nechal veliteľ telesnej stráže Nabuzardan v júdskej krajine a dal im v ten deň vinice a polia.
10 (UKJV) But Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard left of the poor of the people, which had nothing, in the land of Judah, and gave them vineyards and fields at the same time.

11 (HEM) ויצו נבוכדראצר מלך בבל על ירמיהו ביד נבוזראדן רב טבחים לאמר׃
11 (VUL) Praeceperat autem Nabuchodonosor rex Babylonis de Ieremia Nabuzardan magistro satellitum dicens:
11 (KAT) Ohľadne Jeremiáša prikázal však babylonský kráľ Nabuchodonozor veliteľovi telesnej stráže Nabuzardanovi toto:
11 (UKJV) Now Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon gave charge concerning Jeremiah to Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard, saying,

12 (HEM) קחנו ועיניך שים עליו ואל תעש לו מאומה רע כי אם כאשר ידבר אליך כן עשה עמו׃
12 (VUL) “ Tolle illum et pone super eum oculos tuos nihilque ei mali facias, sed, ut voluerit, sic facies ei ”.
12 (KAT) „Zaujmi sa ho, maj na ňom svoje oči a neurob mu nič zlé, ale zaobchádzaj s ním tak, ako ti on povie.“
12 (UKJV) "Take him, and look well to him, and do him no harm; but do unto him even as he shall say unto you. "

13 (HEM) וישלח נבוזראדן רב טבחים ונבושזבן רב סריס ונרגל שר אצר רב מג וכל רבי מלך בבל׃
13 (VUL) Misit ergo Nabuzardan princeps satellitum et Nabusezban princeps eunuchorum et Nergelsereser princeps magorum et omnes optimates regis Babylonis
13 (KAT) A veliteľ telesnej stráže Nabuzardan, rab-saris Nabušerban, rab-mág Nergalsareser a všetci veľmoži babylonského kráľa
13 (UKJV) "So Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard sent, and Nebushasban, Rabsaris, and Nergalsharezer, Rabmag, and all the king of Babylon's princes; "

14 (HEM) וישלחו ויקחו את ירמיהו מחצר המטרה ויתנו אתו אל גדליהו בן אחיקם בן שפן להוצאהו אל הבית וישב בתוך העם׃
14 (VUL) miserunt et tulerunt Ieremiam de vestibulo custodiae et tradiderunt eum Godoliae filio Ahicam filii Saphan, ut duceret domum. Et habitavit in populo.
14 (KAT) dali priviesť Jeremiáša zo strážneho nádvoria a odovzdali ho Godoliášovi, synovi Achikama, syna Safanovho, aby ho prepustil domov. Zostal teda uprostred ľudu.
14 (UKJV) Even they sent, and took Jeremiah out of the court of the prison, and committed him unto Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, that he should carry him home: so he dwelt among the people.

15 (HEM) ואל ירמיהו היה דבר יהוה בהיתו עצור בחצר המטרה לאמר׃
15 (VUL) Ad Ieremiam autem factus fuerat sermo Domini, cum clausus esset in vestibulo custodiae, dicens:
15 (KAT) K Jeremiášovi však, keď bol uväznený v strážnom nádvorí, prehovoril Pán takto:
15 (UKJV) Now the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah, while he was shut up in the court of the prison, saying,

16 (HEM) הלוך ואמרת לעבד מלך הכושי לאמר כה אמר יהוה צבאות אלהי ישראל הנני מבי את דברי אל העיר הזאת לרעה ולא לטובה והיו לפניך ביום ההוא׃
16 (VUL) “ Vade et dic Abdemelech Aethiopi dicens: Haec dicit Dominus exercituum, Deus Israel: Ecce ego inducam sermones meos super civitatem hanc in malum et non in bonum; et erunt in conspectu tuo in die illa.
16 (KAT) „Choď a povedz Etiópcovi Abdemelechovi: Toto hovorí Pán zástupov, Boh Izraela: Hľa, ja splním svoje slová proti tomuto mestu na jeho nešťastie, nie na blaho; splnia sa pred tebou v tento deň.
16 (UKJV) "Go and speak to Ebedmelech the Ethiopian, saying, Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring my words upon this city for evil, and not for good; and they shall be accomplished in that day before you. "

17 (HEM) והצלתיך ביום ההוא נאם יהוה ולא תנתן ביד האנשים אשר אתה יגור מפניהם׃
17 (VUL) Et liberabo te in die illa, ait Dominus, et non traderis in manus virorum, quos tu formidas;
17 (KAT) Ale teba vyslobodím v ten deň - hovorí Pán -, nedostaneš sa do rúk mužov, ktorých sa bojíš.
17 (UKJV) But I will deliver you in that day, says the LORD: and you shall not be given into the hand of the men of whom you are afraid.

18 (HEM) כי מלט אמלטך ובחרב לא תפל והיתה לך נפשך לשלל כי בטחת בי נאם יהוה׃
18 (VUL) sed eruens liberabo te, et gladio non cades, sed erit tibi anima tua quasi spolium, quia in me habuisti fiduciam ”, ait Dominus.
18 (KAT) Áno, naisto ťa vyslobodím, nepadneš pod mečom, svoj život budeš mať za korisť, pretože si dôveroval vo mňa“ - hovorí Pán.
18 (UKJV) For I will surely deliver you, and you shall not fall by the sword, but your life shall be for a prey unto you: because you have put your trust in me, says the LORD.
