1 (HEM) הדבר אשר היה אל ירמיהו מאת יהוה בימי יהויקים בן יאשיהו מלך יהודה לאמר׃
1 (VUL) Verbum, quod factum est ad Ieremiam a Domino in die bus Ioachim filii Iosiae regis Iudae dicens:
1 (KAT) Slovo, ktoré Pán prehovoril k Jeremiášovi v dňoch júdskeho kráľa Joakima, Joziášovho syna:
1 (UKJV) The word which came unto Jeremiah from the LORD in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, saying,

2 (HEM) הלוך אל בית הרכבים ודברת אותם והבאותם בית יהוה אל אחת הלשכות והשקית אותם יין׃
2 (VUL) “ Vade ad domum Rechabitarum et loquere eis; et introduces eos in domum Domini in unam exedram et dabis eis bibere vinum ”.
2 (KAT) „Choď k rodu Rechabovcov, prehovor s nimi, zaveď ich do Pánovho domu, do niektorej z miestností, a ponúkni ich vínom.“
2 (UKJV) Go unto the house of the Rechabites, and speak unto them, and bring them into the house of the LORD, into one of the chambers, and give them wine to drink.

3 (HEM) ואקח את יאזניה בן ירמיהו בן חבצניה ואת אחיו ואת כל בניו ואת כל בית הרכבים׃
3 (VUL) Et assumpsi Iezoniam filium Ieremiae filii Habsaniae et fratres eius et omnes filios eius et universam domum Rechabitarum;

5 (HEM) ואתן לפני בני בית הרכבים גבעים מלאים יין וכסות ואמר אליהם שתו יין׃

7 (HEM) ובית לא תבנו וזרע לא תזרעו וכרם לא תטעו ולא יהיה לכם כי באהלים תשבו כל ימיכם למען תחיו ימים רבים על פני האדמה אשר אתם גרים שם׃
7 (VUL) et domum non aedificabitis et sementem non seretis et vineas non plantabitis, nec habebitis, sed in tabernaculis habitabitis cunctis diebus vestris, ut vivatis diebus multis super faciem terrae, in qua vos peregrinamini”.
7 (KAT) Ani domy nestavajte, nesejte semeno, nesaďte a nevlastnite vinice, ale bývajte celý svoj život v stanoch, aby ste sa dožili dlhého veku na zemi, na ktorej ste pútnikmi.«
7 (UKJV) "Neither shall all of you build house, nor sow seed, nor plant vineyard, nor have any: but all your days all of you shall dwell in tents; that all of you may live many days in the land where all of you be strangers. "

8 (HEM) ונשמע בקול יהונדב בן רכב אבינו לכל אשר צונו לבלתי שתות יין כל ימינו אנחנו נשינו בנינו ובנתינו׃
8 (VUL) Oboedivimus ergo voci Ionadab filii Rechab patris nostri in omnibus, quae praecepit nobis, ita ut non biberemus vinum cunctis diebus nostris, nos et mulieres nostrae, filii et filiae nostrae,

9 (HEM) ולבלתי בנות בתים לשבתנו וכרם ושדה וזרע לא יהיה לנו׃

9 (KAT) A pre svoje obydlie nestaviame domy, nemáme viníc ani poľa, ani osiva,
9 (UKJV) Nor to build houses for us to dwell in: neither have we vineyard, nor field, nor seed:

10 (HEM) ונשב באהלים ונשמע ונעש ככל אשר צונו יונדב אבינו׃
10 (VUL) sed habitavimus in tabernaculis; et oboedientes fecimus iuxta omnia, quae praecepit nobis Ionadab pater noster.
10 (KAT) ale bývame v stanoch. Poslúchame a robíme všetko podľa toho, ako nám prikázal náš otec Jonadab.
10 (UKJV) But we have dwelt in tents, and have obeyed, and done according to all that Jonadab our father commanded us.

11 (HEM) ויהי בעלות נבוכדראצר מלך בבל אל הארץ ונאמר באו ונבוא ירושלם מפני חיל הכשדים ומפני חיל ארם ונשב בירושלם׃
11 (VUL) Cum autem ascendisset Nabuchodonosor rex Babylonis ad terram, diximus: Venite, et ingrediamur Ierusalem a facie exercitus Chaldaeorum et a facie exercitus Syriae. Et mansimus in Ierusalem ”.
11 (KAT) Keď však vojsko babylonského kráľa Nabuchodonozora napredovalo proti krajine, povedali sme: Poďte, vojdime pred vojskom Chaldejcov a pred vojskom Aramejcov do Jeruzalema! Preto bývame v Jeruzaleme.“
11 (UKJV) But it came to pass, when Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon came up into the land, that we said, Come, and let us go to Jerusalem for fear of the army of the Chaldeans, and for fear of the army of the Syrians: so we dwell at Jerusalem.

12 (HEM) ויהי דבר יהוה אל ירמיהו לאמר׃
12 (VUL) Et factum est verbum Domini ad Ieremiam dicens:
12 (KAT) Vtedy takto prehovoril Pán k Jeremiášovi:
12 (UKJV) Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah, saying,

13 (HEM) כה אמר יהוה צבאות אלהי ישראל הלך ואמרת לאיש יהודה וליושבי ירושלם הלוא תקחו מוסר לשמע אל דברי נאם יהוה׃
13 (VUL) “ Haec dicit Dominus exercituum, Deus Israel: Vade et dic viris Iudae et habitatoribus Ierusalem: Numquid non recipietis disciplinam, ut oboediatis verbis meis?, dicit Dominus.
13 (KAT) „Toto hovorí Pán zástupov, Boh Izraela: Iď a povedz mužom Júdska a obyvateľom Jeruzalema: Nevezmete si poučenie a nebudete poslúchať moje slová? - hovorí Pán.
13 (UKJV) "Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Go and tell the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, Will all of you not receive instruction to hearken to my words? says the LORD. "

14 (HEM) הוקם את דברי יהונדב בן רכב אשר צוה את בניו לבלתי שתות יין ולא שתו עד היום הזה כי שמעו את מצות אביהם ואנכי דברתי אליכם השכם ודבר ולא שמעתם אלי׃
14 (VUL) Praevaluerunt sermones Ionadab filii Rechab, quos praecepit filiis suis, ut non biberent vinum, et non biberunt usque ad diem hanc, quia oboedierunt praecepto patris sui; ego autem locutus sum ad vos de mane consurgens et loquens, et non oboedistis mihi.
14 (KAT) Zachovávajú sa slová Rechabovho syna Jonadaba; ten prikázal svojim synom nepiť víno, nuž nepili až po dnešný deň, pretože poslúchajú rozkaz svojho otca. Ja však neprestajne hovorím k vám, ale nepočúvate ma.
14 (UKJV) "The words of Jonadab the son of Rechab, that he commanded his sons not to drink wine, are performed; for unto this day they drink none, but obey their father's commandment: notwithstanding I have spoken unto you, rising early and speaking; but all of you hearkened not unto me. "

15 (HEM) ואשלח אליכם את כל עבדי הנבאים השכים ושלח לאמר שבו נא איש מדרכו הרעה והיטיבו מעלליכם ואל תלכו אחרי אלהים אחרים לעבדם ושבו אל האדמה אשר נתתי לכם ולאבתיכם ולא הטיתם את אזנכם ולא שמעתם אלי׃
15 (VUL) Misique ad vos omnes servos meos prophetas, consurgens diluculo mittensque et dicens: Convertimini unusquisque a via sua pessima et bona facite opera vestra et nolite sequi deos alienos neque colatis eos, et habitabitis in terra, quam dedi vobis et patribus vestris, et non inclinastis aurem vestram neque audistis me.

15 (UKJV) I have sent also unto you all my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them, saying, Return all of you now every man from his evil way, and amend your doings, and go not after other gods to serve them, and all of you shall dwell in the land which I have given to you and to your fathers: but all of you have not inclined your ear, nor hearkened unto me.

16 (HEM) כי הקימו בני יהונדב בן רכב את מצות אביהם אשר צום והעם הזה לא שמעו אלי׃
16 (VUL) Firmaverunt igitur filii Ionadab filii Rechab praeceptum patris sui, quod praeceperat eis; populus autem iste non oboedivit mihi.
16 (KAT) Áno, potomci Rechabovho syna Jonadaba zachovali príkaz svojho otca, ktorý im dal, tento ľud však nepočúval mňa.
16 (UKJV) "Because the sons of Jonadab the son of Rechab have performed the commandment of their father, which he commanded them; but this people has not hearkened unto me: "

17 (HEM) לכן כה אמר יהוה אלהי צבאות אלהי ישראל הנני מביא אל יהודה ואל כל יושבי ירושלם את כל הרעה אשר דברתי עליהם יען דברתי אליהם ולא שמעו ואקרא להם ולא ענו׃
17 (VUL) Idcirco haec dicit Dominus exercituum, Deus Israel: Ecce ego adducam super Iudam et super omnes habitatores Ierusalem universam afflictionem, quam locutus sum adversum illos, eo quod locutus sum ad illos, et non audierunt, vocavi illos, et non responderunt mihi ”.
17 (KAT) Preto takto hovorí Pán, Boh zástupov, Boh Izraela: Hľa, ja dopustím na Júdu a na obyvateľov Jeruzalema všetko nešťastie, ktorým som im hrozil, pretože som hovoril k nim, ale nepočúvali, volal som, ale neodpovedali.“
17 (UKJV) "Therefore thus says the LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring upon Judah and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the evil that I have pronounced against them: because I have spoken unto them, but they have not heard; and I have called unto them, but they have not answered. "

18 (HEM) ולבית הרכבים אמר ירמיהו כה אמר יהוה צבאות אלהי ישראל יען אשר שמעתם על מצות יהונדב אביכם ותשמרו את כל מצותיו ותעשו ככל אשר צוה אתכם׃

19 (HEM) לכן כה אמר יהוה צבאות אלהי ישראל לא יכרת איש ליונדב בן רכב עמד לפני כל הימים׃
19 (VUL) propterea haec dicit Dominus exercituum, Deus Israel: Non deficiet vir de stirpe Ionadab filii Rechab stans in conspectu meo cunctis diebus ”.
19 (KAT) preto takto hovorí Pán zástupov, Boh Izraela: Jonadabovi, synovi Rechabovmu, nebude chýbať muž, ktorý bude stáť pred mojou tvárou.“
19 (UKJV) "Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Jonadab the son of Rechab shall not lack a man to stand before me for ever. "
