1 (HEM) ויהי דבר יהוה אל ירמיהו שנית והוא עודנו עצור בחצר המטרה לאמר׃

2 (VUL) “ Haec dicit Dominus, qui facturus est id, Dominus, qui formaturus est illud et paraturus, Dominus nomen eius:
2 (KAT) „Toto hovorí Pán, ktorý stvoril zem, utvoril ju a upevnil - Pánom sa volá:
2 (UKJV) "Thus says the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his name; "

3 (HEM) קרא אלי ואענך ואגידה לך גדלות ובצרות לא ידעתם׃

4 (HEM) כי כה אמר יהוה אלהי ישראל על בתי העיר הזאת ועל בתי מלכי יהודה הנתצים אל הסללות ואל החרב׃
4 (VUL) Quia haec dicit Dominus, Deus Israel, super domos urbis huius et ad domos regis Iudae, quae destructae sunt, pro munitionibus et pro gladio
4 (KAT) Lebo toto hovorí Pán, Boh Izraela, o domoch tohto mesta, o zrúcaných júdskych domoch na násypy a o meči:
4 (UKJV) "For thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are thrown down by the mounts, and by the sword; "

5 (HEM) באים להלחם את הכשדים ולמלאם את פגרי האדם אשר הכיתי באפי ובחמתי ואשר הסתרתי פני מהעיר הזאת על כל רעתם׃
5 (VUL) venientium, ut dimicent cum Chaldaeis et impleant eas cadaveribus hominum, quos percussi in furore meo et in indignatione mea, abscondens faciem meam a civitate hac propter omnem malitiam eorum.

7 (HEM) והשבתי את שבות יהודה ואת שבות ישראל ובנתים כבראשנה׃

8 (HEM) וטהרתים מכל עונם אשר חטאו לי וסלחתי לכול עונותיהם אשר חטאו לי ואשר פשעו בי׃
8 (VUL) Et emundabo illos ab omni iniquitate sua, in qua peccaverunt mihi, et propitius ero cunctis iniquitatibus eorum, in quibus deliquerunt mihi et spreverunt me;

8 (UKJV) "And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed against me. "

9 (HEM) והיתה לי לשם ששון לתהלה ולתפארת לכל גויי הארץ אשר ישמעו את כל הטובה אשר אנכי עשה אתם ופחדו ורגזו על כל הטובה ועל כל השלום אשר אנכי עשה לה׃
9 (VUL) et erit mihi in nomen et in gaudium et in laudem et in exsultationem cunctis gentibus terrae, quae audierint omnia bona, quae ego facturus sum eis; et pavebunt et turbabuntur in universis bonis et in omni pace, quam ego faciam eis.
9 (KAT) A bude mi to na slávu, radosť, chválu a ozdobu pred všetkými národmi zeme, keď počujú všetko dobro, ktoré som im urobil. Budú sa báť a triasť pre všetko dobro a pre všetko blaho, ktoré som im dal.
9 (UKJV) And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honour before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it.

10 (HEM) כה אמר יהוה עוד ישמע במקום הזה אשר אתם אמרים חרב הוא מאין אדם ומאין בהמה בערי יהודה ובחצות ירושלם הנשמות מאין אדם ומאין יושב ומאין בהמה׃
10 (VUL) Haec dicit Dominus: Adhuc audietur in loco isto, quem vos dicitis esse desertum, eo quod non sit homo et iumentum in civitatibus Iudae et foris Ierusalem, quae desolatae sunt absque homine et absque habitatore et absque pecore,

For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, says the LORD. "

12 (HEM) כה אמר יהוה צבאות עוד יהיה במקום הזה החרב מאין אדם ועד בהמה ובכל עריו נוה רעים מרבצים צאן׃

13 (HEM) בערי ההר בערי השפלה ובערי הנגב ובארץ בנימן ובסביבי ירושלם ובערי יהודה עד תעברנה הצאן על ידי מונה אמר יהוה׃
13 (VUL) In civitatibus montuosis et in civitatibus Sephelae et in civitatibus, quae ad austrum sunt, et in terra Beniamin et in circuitu Ierusalem et in civitatibus Iudae adhuc transibunt greges ad manum numerantis, ait Dominus.

14 (HEM) הנה ימים באים נאם יהוה והקמתי את הדבר הטוב אשר דברתי אל בית ישראל ועל בית יהודה׃

15 (VUL) In diebus illis et in tempore illo germinare faciam David germen iustitiae, et faciet iudicium et iustitiam in terra.

16 (HEM) בימים ההם תושע יהודה וירושלם תשכון לבטח וזה אשר יקרא לה יהוה צדקנו׃
16 (VUL) In diebus illis salvabitur Iuda, et Ierusalem habitabit confidenter; et hoc est nomen, quod vocabit eam: Dominus iustitia nostra.

17 (HEM) כי כה אמר יהוה לא יכרת לדוד איש ישב על כסא בית ישראל׃

17 (UKJV) "For thus says the LORD; David shall never lack a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel; "

18 (HEM) ולכהנים הלוים לא יכרת איש מלפני מעלה עולה ומקטיר מנחה ועשה זבח כל הימים׃
18 (VUL) et de sacerdotibus Levitis non interibit vir a facie mea, qui offerat holocautomata et incendat sacrificium et caedat victimas omnibus diebus ”.
18 (KAT) A levitským kňazom nebude predo mnou chýbať muž, ktorý bude obetovať celopaly, spaľovať žertvy a prinášať obety po všetky dni.“
18 (UKJV) Neither shall the priests the Levites lack a man before me to offer burnt offerings, and to kindle food offerings, and to do sacrifice continually.

19 (HEM) ויהי דבר יהוה אל ירמיהו לאמור׃

20 (HEM) כה אמר יהוה אם תפרו את בריתי היום ואת בריתי הלילה ולבלתי היות יומם ולילה בעתם׃
20 (VUL) “ Haec dicit Dominus: Si irritum potest fieri pactum meum cum die et pactum meum cum nocte, ut non sit dies et nox in tempore suo,
20 (KAT) „Toto hovorí Pán: Keď zrušíte moju zmluvu s dňom a moju zmluvu s nocou, že nebude deň a noc vo svojom čase,
20 (UKJV) "Thus says the LORD; If all of you can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season; "

24 (HEM) הלוא ראית מה העם הזה דברו לאמר שתי המשפחות אשר בחר יהוה בהם וימאסם ואת עמי ינאצון מהיות עוד גוי לפניהם׃
24 (VUL) “ Numquid non vidisti quid populus hic locutus sit dicens: “Duae cognationes, quas elegerat Dominus, abiectae sunt”, et populum meum despexerunt, eo quod non sit ultra gens coram eis?

26 (HEM) גם זרע יעקוב ודוד עבדי אמאס מקחת מזרעו משלים אל זרע אברהם ישחק ויעקב כי אשוב את שבותם ורחמתים׃

26 (KAT) tak zavrhnem aj potomstvo Jakuba a svojho sluhu Dávida, že pre Abrahámovo, Izákovo a Jakubovo potomstvo nevezmem panovníka z jeho rodu. Áno, zmením ich osud a zmilujem sa nad nimi.“
26 (UKJV) Then will I cast away the seed of Jacob and David my servant, so that I will not take any of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to return, and have mercy on them.
