1 (HEM) הדבר אשר היה אל ירמיהו מאת יהוה בשנת העשרית לצדקיהו מלך יהודה היא השנה שמנה עשרה שנה לנבוכדראצר׃

2 (HEM) ואז חיל מלך בבל צרים על ירושלם וירמיהו הנביא היה כלוא בחצר המטרה אשר בית מלך יהודה׃
2 (VUL) Tunc exercitus regis Babylonis obsidebat Ierusalem, et Ieremias propheta erat clausus in atrio custodiae, qui erat in domo regis Iudae.

4 (HEM) וצדקיהו מלך יהודה לא ימלט מיד הכשדים כי הנתן ינתן ביד מלך בבל ודבר פיו עם פיו ועיניו את עינו תראינה׃
4 (VUL) et Sedecias rex Iudae non effugiet de manu Chaldaeorum, sed tradetur in manus regis Babylonis, et loquetur os eius cum ore illius, et oculi eius oculos illius videbunt;

5 (UKJV) And he shall lead Zedekiah to Babylon, and there shall he be until I visit him, says the LORD: though all of you fight with the Chaldeans, all of you shall not prosper.

7 (HEM) הנה חנמאל בן שלם דדך בא אליך לאמר קנה לך את שדי אשר בענתות כי לך משפט הגאלה לקנות׃
7 (VUL) Ecce Hanameel filius Sellum patruelis tuus veniet ad te dicens: “Eme tibi agrum meum, qui est in Anathoth; tibi enim competit ex propinquitate, ut emas”.
7 (KAT) Hľa, príde k tebe Hanameel, syn tvojho strýca Seluma, s návrhom: »Kúp si moje pole, ktoré je v Anatote, veď máš na kúpu príbuzenské prednostné právo!«
7 (UKJV) Behold, Hanameel the son of Shallum your uncle shall come unto you saying, Buy you my field that is in Anathoth: for the right of redemption is your to buy it.

8 (HEM) ויבא אלי חנמאל בן דדי כדבר יהוה אל חצר המטרה ויאמר אלי קנה נא את שדי אשר בענתות אשר בארץ בנימין כי לך משפט הירשה ולך הגאלה קנה לך ואדע כי דבר יהוה הוא׃
8 (VUL) Et venit ad me Hanameel filius patrui mei secundum verbum Domini ad vestibulum custodiae et ait ad me: “Posside agrum meum, qui est in Anathoth in terra Beniamin, quia tibi competit hereditas, et tu propinquus es, ut possideas”. Intellexi autem quod verbum Domini esset

10 (HEM) ואכתב בספר ואחתם ואעד עדים ואשקל הכסף במאזנים׃
10 (VUL) Et scripsi in libro et signavi et adhibui testes et appendi argentum in statera.

12 (HEM) ואתן את הספר המקנה אל ברוך בן נריה בן מחסיה לעיני חנמאל דדי ולעיני העדים הכתבים בספר המקנה לעיני כל היהודים הישבים בחצר המטרה׃
12 (VUL) et dedi librum possessionis Baruch filio Neriae filii Maasiae in oculis Hanameel patruelis mei et in oculis testium, qui obsignaverant in libro emptionis, et in oculis omnium Iudaeorum, qui sedebant in atrio custodiae.

13 (HEM) ואצוה את ברוך לעיניהם לאמר׃
13 (VUL) Et praecepi Baruch coram eis dicens:

13 (UKJV) And I charged Baruch before them, saying,

17 (VUL) Heu, Domine Deus, ecce tu fecisti caelum et terram in fortitudine tua magna et in brachio tuo extento; non erit tibi difficile omne verbum,
17 (KAT) Ach, Pane, Jahve, pozri; ty si svojou veľkou mocou a svojím vystretým ramenom učinil nebo i zem a tebe nie je nemožná nijaká vec.
17 (UKJV) Ah Lord GOD! behold, you have made the heaven and the earth by your great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for you:

18 (HEM) עשה חסד לאלפים ומשלם עון אבות אל חיק בניהם אחריהם האל הגדול הגבור יהוה צבאות שמו׃
18 (VUL) qui facis misericordiam in milibus et reddis iniquitatem patrum in sinum filiorum eorum post eos; Deus magne, potens, Dominus exercituum nomen eius:

20 (UKJV) "Which have set signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, even unto this day, and in Israel, and among other men; and have made you a name, as at this day; "

21 (HEM) ותצא את עמך את ישראל מארץ מצרים באתות ובמופתים וביד חזקה ובאזרוע נטויה ובמורא גדול׃
21 (VUL) Et eduxisti populum tuum Israel de terra Aegypti in signis et in portentis et in manu robusta et in brachio extento et in terrore magno.

22 (HEM) ותתן להם את הארץ הזאת אשר נשבעת לאבותם לתת להם ארץ זבת חלב ודבש׃
22 (VUL) Et dedisti eis terram hanc, quam iurasti patribus eorum, ut dares eis, terram fluentem lacte et melle.

22 (UKJV) "And have given them this land, which you did swear to their fathers to give them, a land flowing with milk and honey; "

23 (HEM) ויבאו וירשו אתה ולא שמעו בקולך ובתרותך לא הלכו את כל אשר צויתה להם לעשות לא עשו ותקרא אתם את כל הרעה הזאת׃
23 (VUL) Et ingressi sunt et possederunt eam; et non oboedierunt voci tuae et in lege tua non ambulaverunt: omnia, quae mandasti eis, ut facerent, non fecerunt; et occurrere fecisti eis omnia mala haec.

28 (HEM) לכן כה אמר יהוה הנני נתן את העיר הזאת ביד הכשדים וביד נבוכדראצר מלך בבל ולכדה׃
28 (VUL) Propterea haec dicit Dominus: Ecce ego tradam civitatem istam in manus Chaldaeorum et in manus regis Babylonis, et capiet eam.
28 (KAT) Preto takto hovorí Pán: Hľa, ja vydám toto mesto do ruky Chaldejcov a do ruky babylonského kráľa Nabuchodonozora; zmocní sa ho!
28 (UKJV) "Therefore thus says the LORD; Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the Chaldeans, and into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and he shall take it: "

29 (HEM) ובאו הכשדים הנלחמים על העיר הזאת והציתו את העיר הזאת באש ושרפוה ואת הבתים אשר קטרו על גגותיהם לבעל והסכו נסכים לאלהים אחרים למען הכעסני׃
29 (VUL) Et venient Chaldaei proeliantes adversum urbem hanc et succendent eam igni et comburent eam et domos, in quarum domatibus sacrificabant Baal et libabant diis alienis libamina ad irritandum me.

30 (VUL) Erant enim filii Israel et filii Iudae iugiter facientes malum in oculis meis ab adulescentia sua, filii Israel, qui usque nunc exacerbant me in opere manuum suarum, dicit Dominus.

37 (HEM) הנני מקבצם מכל הארצות אשר הדחתים שם באפי ובחמתי ובקצף גדול והשבתים אל המקום הזה והשבתים לבטח׃

37 (KAT) „Hľa, ja ich pozbieram zo všetkých krajín, do ktorých som ich rozhádzal vo svojom hneve, vo svojom zápale a veľkej prchkosti; privediem ich späť na toto miesto a usadím ich v bezpečnosti.
37 (UKJV) "Behold, I will gather them out of all countries, where I have driven them in mine anger, and in my fury, and in great wrath; and I will bring them again unto this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely: "

38 (HEM) והיו לי לעם ואני אהיה להם לאלהים׃
38 (VUL) Et erunt mihi in populum, et ego ero eis in Deum.
38 (KAT) Budú mojím ľudom a ja budem ich Bohom.
38 (UKJV) And they shall be my people, and I will be their God:

39 (HEM) ונתתי להם לב אחד ודרך אחד ליראה אותי כל הימים לטוב להם ולבניהם אחריהם׃
39 (VUL) Et dabo eis cor unum et viam unam, ut timeant me universis diebus, et bene sit eis et filiis eorum post eos.
39 (KAT) A dám im jedno srdce a jednu cestu, aby sa ma po všetky dni báli pre svoje - a potom aj pre deti svojich detí - blaho.
39 (UKJV) And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them:

40 (HEM) וכרתי להם ברית עולם אשר לא אשוב מאחריהם להיטיבי אותם ואת יראתי אתן בלבבם לבלתי סור מעלי׃
40 (VUL) Et feriam eis pactum sempiternum et non desinam eis benefacere et timorem meum dabo in corde eorum, ut non recedant a me.
40 (KAT) Uzavriem s nimi večnú zmluvu, ktorou im neprestanem robiť dobro; vložím im do srdca svoju bázeň, aby sa odo mňa neodklonili.
40 (UKJV) "And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me. "

41 (HEM) וששתי עליהם להטיב אותם ונטעתים בארץ הזאת באמת בכל לבי ובכל נפשי׃
41 (VUL) Et laetabor super eis, cum bene eis fecero, et plantabo eos in terra ista in veritate, in toto corde meo et in tota anima mea.
41 (KAT) Radosť z nich budem mať, keď im budem preukazovať dobro; zasadím ich verne v tejto krajine, celým svojím srdcom a celou svojou dušou.
41 (UKJV) Yea, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul.

42 (HEM) כי כה אמר יהוה כאשר הבאתי אל העם הזה את כל הרעה הגדולה הזאת כן אנכי מביא עליהם את כל הטובה אשר אנכי דבר עליהם׃
42 (VUL) Quia haec dicit Dominus: Sicut adduxi super populum istum omne malum hoc grande, sic adducam super eos omne bonum, quod ego loquor ad eos,
42 (KAT) Lebo toto hovorí Pán: Ako som na tento ľud dopustil všetko toto veľké nešťastie, tak im spôsobím všetko blaho, o ktorom im hovorím.
42 (UKJV) "For thus says the LORD; Like I have brought all this great evil upon this people, so will I bring upon them all the good that I have promised them. "

43 (HEM) ונקנה השדה בארץ הזאת אשר אתם אמרים שממה היא מאין אדם ובהמה נתנה ביד הכשדים׃
43 (VUL) et possidebuntur agri in terra ista, de qua vos dicitis quod deserta sit, eo quod non remanserit homo et iumentum, et data sit in manu Chaldaeorum.
43 (KAT) Bude sa teda kupovať pole v tejto krajine o ktorej vy hovoríte: »Spustošená je, bez ľudí a zvierat, dostáva sa do ruky Chaldejcov.«
43 (UKJV) "And fields shall be bought in this land, whereof all of you say, It is desolate without man or beast; it is given into the hand of the Chaldeans. "

44 (HEM) שדות בכסף יקנו וכתוב בספר וחתום והעד עדים בארץ בנימן ובסביבי ירושלם ובערי יהודה ובערי ההר ובערי השפלה ובערי הנגב כי אשיב את שבותם נאם יהוה׃
44 (VUL) Agri ementur pecunia et scribentur in libro, et imprimetur signum, et testes adhibebuntur in terra Beniamin et in circuitu Ierusalem, in civitatibus Iudae et in civitatibus montanis et in civitatibus Sephelae et in civitatibus, quae ad austrum sunt, quia convertam sortem eorum ”, ait Dominus.
44 (KAT) Budú kupovať polia za peniaze, písať listiny, pečatiť a priberať svedkov v krajine Benjamínovej i v okolí Jeruzalema, v mestách Júdska, v horských mestách, v mestách na rovine i v mestách na juhu, až obrátim ich osud“ - hovorí Pán.
44 (UKJV) Men shall buy fields for money, and subscribe evidences, and seal them, and take witnesses in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, and in the cities of the mountains, and in the cities of the valley, and in the cities of the south: for I will cause their captivity to return, says the LORD.
