1 (HEM) בעת ההיא נאם יהוה אהיה לאלהים לכל משפחות ישראל והמה יהיו לי לעם׃
1 (UKJV) At the same time, says the LORD, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.

2 (HEM) כה אמר יהוה מצא חן במדבר עם שרידי חרב הלוך להרגיעו ישראל׃
2 (UKJV) "Thus says the LORD, The people which were left of the sword found grace in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest. "

3 (HEM) מרחוק יהוה נראה לי ואהבת עולם אהבתיך על כן משכתיך חסד׃
3 (UKJV) The LORD has appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved you with an everlasting love: therefore with loving kindness have I drawn you.

4 (HEM) עוד אבנך ונבנית בתולת ישראל עוד תעדי תפיך ויצאת במחול משחקים׃
4 (UKJV) Again I will build you, and you shall be built, O virgin of Israel: you shall again be adorned with your timbrels, and shall go forth in the dances of them that make merry.

5 (HEM) עוד תטעי כרמים בהרי שמרון נטעו נטעים וחללו׃
5 (UKJV) You shall yet plant vines upon the mountains of Samaria: the planters shall plant, and shall eat them as common things.

6 (HEM) כי יש יום קראו נצרים בהר אפרים קומו ונעלה ציון אל יהוה אלהינו׃
6 (UKJV) For there shall be a day, that the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise all of you, and let us go up to Zion unto the LORD our God.

7 (HEM) כי כה אמר יהוה רנו ליעקב שמחה וצהלו בראש הגוים השמיעו הללו ואמרו הושע יהוה את עמך את שארית ישראל׃
7 (UKJV) "For thus says the LORD; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish all of you, praise all of you, and say, O LORD, save your people, the remnant of Israel. "

8 (HEM) הנני מביא אותם מארץ צפון וקבצתים מירכתי ארץ בם עור ופסח הרה וילדת יחדו קהל גדול ישובו הנה׃
8 (UKJV) Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that labors with child together: a great company shall return thither.

9 (HEM) בבכי יבאו ובתחנונים אובילם אוליכם אל נחלי מים בדרך ישר לא יכשלו בה כי הייתי לישראל לאב ואפרים בכרי הוא׃
9 (UKJV) They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.

10 (HEM) שמעו דבר יהוה גוים והגידו באיים ממרחק ואמרו מזרה ישראל יקבצנו ושמרו כרעה עדרו׃
10 (UKJV) Hear the word of the LORD, O all of you nations, and declare it in the isles far off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd does his flock.

11 (HEM) כי פדה יהוה את יעקב וגאלו מיד חזק ממנו׃
11 (UKJV) For the LORD has redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he.

12 (HEM) ובאו ורננו במרום ציון ונהרו אל טוב יהוה על דגן ועל תירש ועל יצהר ועל בני צאן ובקר והיתה נפשם כגן רוה ולא יוסיפו לדאבה עוד׃
12 (UKJV) "Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all. "

13 (HEM) אז תשמח בתולה במחול ובחרים וזקנים יחדו והפכתי אבלם לששון ונחמתים ושמחתים מיגונם׃
13 (UKJV) Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.

14 (HEM) ורויתי נפש הכהנים דשן ועמי את טובי ישבעו נאם יהוה׃
14 (UKJV) And I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, says the LORD.

15 (HEM) כה אמר יהוה קול ברמה נשמע נהי בכי תמרורים רחל מבכה על בניה מאנה להנחם על בניה כי איננו׃
15 (UKJV) "Thus says the LORD; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not. "

16 (HEM) כה אמר יהוה מנעי קולך מבכי ועיניך מדמעה כי יש שכר לפעלתך נאם יהוה ושבו מארץ אויב׃
16 (UKJV) "Thus says the LORD; Refrain your voice from weeping, and your eyes from tears: for your work shall be rewarded, says the LORD; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy. "

17 (HEM) ויש תקוה לאחריתך נאם יהוה ושבו בנים לגבולם׃
17 (UKJV) And there is hope in your end, says the LORD, that your children shall come again to their own border.

18 (HEM) שמוע שמעתי אפרים מתנודד יסרתני ואוסר כעגל לא למד השבני ואשובה כי אתה יהוה אלהי׃
18 (UKJV) "I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus; You have chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock is not accustomed to the yoke: turn you me, and I shall be turned; for you are the LORD my God. "

19 (HEM) כי אחרי שובי נחמתי ואחרי הודעי ספקתי על ירך בשתי וגם נכלמתי כי נשאתי חרפת נעורי׃
19 (UKJV) "Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed, I stroke upon my thigh: I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my youth. "

20 (HEM) הבן יקיר לי אפרים אם ילד שעשועים כי מדי דברי בו זכר אזכרנו עוד על כן המו מעי לו רחם ארחמנו נאם יהוה׃
20 (UKJV) "Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spoke against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, says the LORD. "

21 (HEM) הציבי לך צינים שמי לך תמרורים שתי לבך למסלה דרך הלכתי שובי בתולת ישראל שבי אל עריך אלה׃
21 (UKJV) Set you up guideposts, make you high heaps: set your heart toward the highway, even the way which you went: return, O virgin of Israel, return to these your cities.

22 (HEM) עד מתי תתחמקין הבת השובבה כי ברא יהוה חדשה בארץ נקבה תסובב גבר׃
22 (UKJV) How long will you go about, O you backsliding daughter? for the LORD has created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man.

23 (HEM) כה אמר יהוה צבאות אלהי ישראל עוד יאמרו את הדבר הזה בארץ יהודה ובעריו בשובי את שבותם יברכך יהוה נוה צדק הר הקדש׃
23 (UKJV) "Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As yet they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof, when I shall bring again their captivity; The LORD bless you, O habitation of justice, and mountain of holiness. "

24 (HEM) וישבו בה יהודה וכל עריו יחדו אכרים ונסעו בעדר׃
24 (UKJV) And there shall dwell in Judah itself, and in all the cities thereof together, husbandmen, and they that go forth with flocks.

25 (HEM) כי הרויתי נפש עיפה וכל נפש דאבה מלאתי׃
25 (UKJV) For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.

26 (HEM) על זאת הקיצתי ואראה ושנתי ערבה לי׃
26 (UKJV) "Upon this I awaked, and beheld; and my sleep was sweet unto me. "

27 (HEM) הנה ימים באים נאם יהוה וזרעתי את בית ישראל ואת בית יהודה זרע אדם וזרע בהמה׃
27 (UKJV) Behold, the days come, says the LORD, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the seed of beast.

28 (HEM) והיה כאשר שקדתי עליהם לנתוש ולנתוץ ולהרס ולהאביד ולהרע כן אשקד עליהם לבנות ולנטוע נאם יהוה׃
28 (UKJV) "And it shall come to pass, that like I have watched over them, to pluck up, and to break down, and to throw down, and to destroy, and to afflict; so will I watch over them, to build, and to plant, says the LORD. "

29 (HEM) בימים ההם לא יאמרו עוד אבות אכלו בסר ושני בנים תקהינה׃
29 (UKJV) In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children's teeth are set on edge.

30 (HEM) כי אם איש בעונו ימות כל האדם האכל הבסר תקהינה שניו׃
30 (UKJV) But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eats the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.

31 (HEM) הנה ימים באים נאם יהוה וכרתי את בית ישראל ואת בית יהודה ברית חדשה׃
31 (UKJV) Behold, the days come, says the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:

32 (HEM) לא כברית אשר כרתי את אבותם ביום החזיקי בידם להוציאם מארץ מצרים אשר המה הפרו את בריתי ואנכי בעלתי בם נאם יהוה׃
32 (UKJV) "Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, says the LORD: "

33 (HEM) כי זאת הברית אשר אכרת את בית ישראל אחרי הימים ההם נאם יהוה נתתי את תורתי בקרבם ועל לבם אכתבנה והייתי להם לאלהים והמה יהיו לי לעם׃
33 (UKJV) "But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, says the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. "

34 (HEM) ולא ילמדו עוד איש את רעהו ואיש את אחיו לאמר דעו את יהוה כי כולם ידעו אותי למקטנם ועד גדולם נאם יהוה כי אסלח לעונם ולחטאתם לא אזכר עוד׃
34 (UKJV) And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, says the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

35 (HEM) כה אמר יהוה נתן שמש לאור יומם חקת ירח וכוכבים לאור לילה רגע הים ויהמו גליו יהוה צבאות שמו׃
35 (UKJV) "Thus says the LORD, which gives the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divides the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name: "

36 (HEM) אם ימשו החקים האלה מלפני נאם יהוה גם זרע ישראל ישבתו מהיות גוי לפני כל הימים׃
36 (UKJV) If those ordinances depart from before me, says the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.

37 (HEM) כה אמר יהוה אם ימדו שמים מלמעלה ויחקרו מוסדי ארץ למטה גם אני אמאס בכל זרע ישראל על כל אשר עשו נאם יהוה׃
37 (UKJV) "Thus says the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, says the LORD. "

38 (HEM) הנה ימים נאם יהוה ונבנתה העיר ליהוה ממגדל חננאל שער הפנה׃
38 (UKJV) Behold, the days come, says the LORD, that the city shall be built to the LORD from the tower of Hananeel unto the gate of the corner.

39 (HEM) ויצא עוד קוה המדה נגדו על גבעת גרב ונסב געתה׃
39 (UKJV) And the measuring line shall yet go forth opposite to it upon the hill Gareb, and shall compass about to Goath.

40 (HEM) וכל העמק הפגרים והדשן וכל השרמות עד נחל קדרון עד פנת שער הסוסים מזרחה קדש ליהוה לא ינתש ולא יהרס עוד לעולם׃
40 (UKJV) "And the whole valley of the dead bodies, and of the ashes, and all the fields unto the brook of Kidron, unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be holy unto the LORD; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more for ever. "
