Kniha proroka Jeremiáša

1 (UKJV) At the same time, says the LORD, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.
1 (KAT) V tom čase, hovorí Pán, budem Bohom všetkým rodom Izraela a oni budú mojím ľudom.

2 (UKJV) "Thus says the LORD, The people which were left of the sword found grace in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest. "
2 (KAT) Toto hovorí Pán: Na pustatine našiel milosť národ, ušetrený mečom, do svojho odpočinku išiel Izrael.“

3 (UKJV) The LORD has appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved you with an everlasting love: therefore with loving kindness have I drawn you.
3 (KAT) Zďaleka sa mu zjavil Pán: „Láskou odvekou som ťa miloval, preto som ti zachoval priazeň.

4 (UKJV) Again I will build you, and you shall be built, O virgin of Israel: you shall again be adorned with your timbrels, and shall go forth in the dances of them that make merry.
4 (KAT) Ešte ťa zbudujem, vystavia ťa, panna, Izrael; ešte sa ozdobíš bubnami, vykročíš do tanca natešených.

5 (UKJV) You shall yet plant vines upon the mountains of Samaria: the planters shall plant, and shall eat them as common things.
5 (KAT) Ešte budeš sadiť vinice na vrchoch Samárie: čo sadzači zasadia, aj užijú.

6 (UKJV) For there shall be a day, that the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise all of you, and let us go up to Zion unto the LORD our God.
6 (KAT) Lebo príde deň, keď budú kričať strážnici na vrchoch Efraima: »Hor’ sa, poďme na Sion k Pánovi, svojmu Bohu!«

7 (UKJV) "For thus says the LORD; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish all of you, praise all of you, and say, O LORD, save your people, the remnant of Israel. "
7 (KAT) Lebo toto hovorí Pán: Jasajte pre Jakuba v radosti a plesajte nad hlavou národov! Rozhlasujte, oslavujte a hovorte: »Pán vyslobodil svoj ľud, zvyšky Izraela.«

8 (UKJV) Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that labors with child together: a great company shall return thither.
8 (KAT) Hľa, privediem ich zo severnej krajiny a z končín zeme ich zhromaždím; medzi nimi i slepých a chromých, samodruhé i šestonedieľky: veľký zástup sa vráti sem.

9 (UKJV) They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.
9 (KAT) Prichádzajú s plačom, no vediem ich s potechou, zavediem ich k potokom vôd po rovnej ceste, kde sa nepotknú, lebo som Izraelov otec a Efraim je môj prvorodený.“

10 (UKJV) Hear the word of the LORD, O all of you nations, and declare it in the isles far off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd does his flock.
10 (KAT) Národy, čujte slovo Pánovo; ohlasujte na ďalekých ostrovoch a vravte: „Ten, čo rozosial Izrael, pozbiera ho a ustráži ho ako pastier stádo.“

11 (UKJV) For the LORD has redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he.
11 (KAT) Áno, Pán vykúpi Jakuba, vyslobodí ho z ruky, čo ho premohla.

12 (UKJV) "Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all. "
12 (KAT) Prídu a zaplesajú na výšine Siona, budú sa hrnúť k darom Pánovým, k obiliu, muštu a oleju, k mláďatám oviec a statku. Ich duša bude ako zavodnená záhrada, nebudú viac mrieť túžbou.

13 (UKJV) Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.
13 (KAT) Vtedy sa bude panna tešiť v tanci, i mladíci a starci pospolu. „Ich smútok zmením na radosť, poteším ich, rozveselím po žiali.

14 (UKJV) And I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, says the LORD.
14 (KAT) Opojím dušu kňazov hojnosťou a môj ľud sa nasýti mojimi darmi“ - hovorí Pán.

15 (UKJV) "Thus says the LORD; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not. "
15 (KAT) Toto hovorí Pán: „Čuj, v Ráme počuť vzdychanie, prehorký plač, Ráchel narieka nad svojimi deťmi, nedá sa potešiť nad deťmi, pretože ich niet.“

16 (UKJV) "Thus says the LORD; Refrain your voice from weeping, and your eyes from tears: for your work shall be rewarded, says the LORD; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy. "
16 (KAT) Toto hovorí Pán: „Zabráň svojmu hlasu plač a svojim očiam slzy, veď tvoja námaha dostane odmenu, hovorí Pán, vrátia sa z nepriateľskej krajiny.

17 (UKJV) And there is hope in your end, says the LORD, that your children shall come again to their own border.
17 (KAT) Je nádej pre tvoju budúcnosť - hovorí Pán, synovia sa vrátia na svoje územie.

18 (UKJV) "I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus; You have chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock is not accustomed to the yoke: turn you me, and I shall be turned; for you are the LORD my God. "
18 (KAT) Počujem Efraima vzdychať: »Šľahal si ma, nuž dal som sa šľahať ako neskrotený junec. Priveď ma späť a navrátim sa, veď ty si Pán, môj Boh!

19 (UKJV) "Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed, I stroke upon my thigh: I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my youth. "
19 (KAT) Už som oželel svoj odpad, a keď som uznal, bil som si stehno, hanbil som sa a červenal, lebo som niesol hanbu svojej mladosti.«

20 (UKJV) "Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spoke against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, says the LORD. "
20 (KAT) Či mi je Efraim drahým synom? Či je rozkošným dieťaťom? Veď kedykoľvek mu hrozím, znovu si musím naň spomenúť a trasie sa mi preň vnútro, musím sa nad ním zmilovať“ - hovorí Pán.

21 (UKJV) Set you up guideposts, make you high heaps: set your heart toward the highway, even the way which you went: return, O virgin of Israel, return to these your cities.
21 (KAT) Postav si stĺpy, zasaď si kamene, daj pozor na cestu, na chodník, ktorým si kráčal; vráť sa späť, panna, Izrael, vráť sa sem do týchto svojich miest!

22 (UKJV) How long will you go about, O you backsliding daughter? for the LORD has created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man.
22 (KAT) Dokedyže budeš blúdiť, dcéra odbojná? Veď Pán stvorí čosi nové na zemi: Žena obkľúči muža.

23 (UKJV) "Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As yet they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof, when I shall bring again their captivity; The LORD bless you, O habitation of justice, and mountain of holiness. "
23 (KAT) Toto hovorí Pán zástupov, Boh Izraela: „V júdskej krajine a v jej mestách, až obrátim ich osud, budú ešte hovoriť toto slovo: »Pán nech ťa požehná, spravodlivá niva, svätý vrch!«

24 (UKJV) And there shall dwell in Judah itself, and in all the cities thereof together, husbandmen, and they that go forth with flocks.
24 (KAT) A budú tam bývať spolu Júda a všetky jeho mestá, roľníci a sprievodcovia stád.

25 (UKJV) For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.
25 (KAT) Áno, opojím unavenú dušu a každú roztúženú dušu naplním.“

26 (UKJV) "Upon this I awaked, and beheld; and my sleep was sweet unto me. "
26 (KAT) (Preto som sa zobudil a pozeral, môj sen mi bol sladký.)

27 (UKJV) Behold, the days come, says the LORD, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the seed of beast.
27 (KAT) „Hľa, prídu dni - hovorí Pán, keď zasejem dom Izraelov a dom Júdov semenom ľudí a semenom zvierat.

28 (UKJV) "And it shall come to pass, that like I have watched over them, to pluck up, and to break down, and to throw down, and to destroy, and to afflict; so will I watch over them, to build, and to plant, says the LORD. "
28 (KAT) A ako som nad nimi bedlil, keď som mal vytrhávať, rúcať, pustošiť, nivočiť a pôsobiť nešťastie, tak budem bedliť, keď budem mať budovať a sadiť, hovorí Pán.

29 (UKJV) In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children's teeth are set on edge.
29 (KAT) V tých dňoch nebudú viac hovoriť: »Otcovia jedli plánky a synom stŕpli zuby.«

30 (UKJV) But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eats the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.
30 (KAT) Každý zomrie len pre svoj hriech; zuby stŕpnu každému človeku, ktorý je plánky.

31 (UKJV) Behold, the days come, says the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
31 (KAT) Hľa, prichádzajú dni, hovorí Pán, keď uzavriem s domom Izraela a s domom Júdu novú zmluvu!

32 (UKJV) "Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, says the LORD: "
32 (KAT) Nie ako zmluvu, ktorú som uzavrel s ich otcami, keď som ich chytil za ruku, aby som ich vyviedol z Egypta. Tú moju zmluvu oni zrušili, hoci som im bol Pánom - hovorí Pán.

33 (UKJV) "But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, says the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. "
33 (KAT) Ale toto bude zmluva, ktorú po týchto dňoch uzavriem s domom Izraela - hovorí Pán. Svoj zákon dám do ich vnútra a napíšem ho do ich srdca. A budem im Bohom a oni budú mojím ľudom.

34 (UKJV) And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, says the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
34 (KAT) Už sa nebudú vzájomne poučovať a brat bratovi nebude hovoriť: »Poznajte Pána!«, pretože ma všetci poznajú od najmenšieho po najväčších - hovorí Pán. Lebo im odpustím vinu a na ich hriech si viac nespomeniem.“

35 (UKJV) "Thus says the LORD, which gives the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divides the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name: "
35 (KAT) Toto hovorí Pán, ktorý dáva slnko za svetlo dňu, určuje mesiac a hviezdy za svetlo noci, pobúri more, že hučia jeho vlny, Pán zástupov má meno:

36 (UKJV) If those ordinances depart from before me, says the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.
36 (KAT) „Ak sa tieto zákony otrasú predo mnou, hovorí Pán, aj semä Izraela prestane byť národom predo mnou po všetky dni.“

37 (UKJV) "Thus says the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, says the LORD. "
37 (KAT) Toto hovorí Pán: „Ak sa hore dajú zmerať nebesá a dolu preskúmať základy zeme, aj ja zavrhnem celé semä Izraela pre všetko, čo urobili - hovorí Pán.

38 (UKJV) Behold, the days come, says the LORD, that the city shall be built to the LORD from the tower of Hananeel unto the gate of the corner.
38 (KAT) Hľa, prídu dni, hovorí Pán, a mesto sa vybuduje pre Pána od veže Chananel až po Rožnú bránu.

39 (UKJV) And the measuring line shall yet go forth opposite to it upon the hill Gareb, and shall compass about to Goath.
39 (KAT) Meracia šnúra však pôjde ďalej rovno ku kopcu Gareb a skrúti sa ku Goe.

40 (UKJV) "And the whole valley of the dead bodies, and of the ashes, and all the fields unto the brook of Kidron, unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be holy unto the LORD; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more for ever. "
40 (KAT) Celé Údolie mŕtvol a popola a celé pole až po potok Kedron a po uhol Konskej brány na východ, bude zasvätené Pánovi. Nikdy viac nebude zbúrané ani zrúcané.“
