1 (HEM) בראשית ממלכת יהויקם בן יאושיהו מלך יהודה היה הדבר הזה אל ירמיה מאת יהוה לאמר׃
1 (VUL) In principio regni Sedeciae filii Iosiae regis Iudae factum est verbum istud ad Ieremiam a Domino dicens:
1 (KAT) Na začiatku panovania júdskeho kráľa Joakima, syna Joziášovho, oznámil Pán Jeremiášovi tieto slová:
1 (UKJV) In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah came this word unto Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,

2 (HEM) כה אמר יהוה אלי עשה לך מוסרות ומטות ונתתם על צוארך׃
2 (VUL) “ Haec dicit Dominus ad me: Fac tibi vincula et iuga et pones ea in collo tuo
2 (KAT) Toto mi hovoril Pán: „Urob si povrazy a jarmo a polož si ich na šiju!
2 (UKJV) "Thus says the LORD to me; Make you bonds and yokes, and put them upon your neck, "

3 (HEM) ושלחתם אל מלך אדום ואל מלך מואב ואל מלך בני עמון ואל מלך צר ואל מלך צידון ביד מלאכים הבאים ירושלם אל צדקיהו מלך יהודה׃
3 (VUL) et mittes ea ad regem Edom et ad regem Moab et ad regem filiorum Ammon et ad regem Tyri et ad regem Sidonis in manu nuntiorum, qui venerunt Ierusalem ad Sedeciam regem Iudae;
3 (KAT) A odkáž kráľovi Edomu, kráľovi Moabu, kráľovi Amonových synov, kráľovi Týru a kráľovi Sidonu prostredníctvom poslov, ktorí prišli do Jeruzalema k júdskemu kráľovi Sedekiášovi,

4 (HEM) וצוית אתם אל אדניהם לאמר כה אמר יהוה צבאות אלהי ישראל כה תאמרו אל אדניכם׃
4 (VUL) et praecipies eis, ut ad dominos suos loquantur: Haec dicit Dominus exercituum, Deus Israel: Haec dicetis ad dominos vestros:
4 (KAT) a daj im tento príkaz pre ich pánov: Toto hovorí Pán zástupov, Boh Izraela: Toto povedzte svojim pánom:
4 (UKJV) "And command them to say unto their masters, Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Thus shall all of you say unto your masters; "

5 (HEM) אנכי עשיתי את הארץ את האדם ואת הבהמה אשר על פני הארץ בכחי הגדול ובזרועי הנטויה ונתתיה לאשר ישר בעיני׃
5 (VUL) Ego feci terram et hominem et iumenta, quae sunt super faciem terrae, in fortitudine mea magna et in brachio meo extento et dedi eam ei, qui placuit in oculis meis.
5 (KAT) Ja som svojou veľkou mocou a svojím vystretým ramenom urobil zem, človeka i zver, ktorá je na zemi, a dal som ju, komu sa mi páčilo.
5 (UKJV) I have made the earth, the man and the beast that are upon the ground, by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and have given it unto whom it seemed meet unto me.

6 (HEM) ועתה אנכי נתתי את כל הארצות האלה ביד נבוכדנאצר מלך בבל עבדי וגם את חית השדה נתתי לו לעבדו׃
6 (VUL) Et nunc itaque ego dedi omnes terras istas in manu Nabuchodonosor regis Babylonis servi mei, insuper et bestias agri dedi ei, ut serviant illi;
6 (KAT) Teraz som však dal všetky tieto krajiny do ruky svojho sluhu, babylonského kráľa Nabuchodonozora; dal som mu aj poľnú zver, nech mu slúži!
6 (UKJV) "And now have I given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant; and the beasts of the field have I given him also to serve him. "

7 (HEM) ועבדו אתו כל הגוים ואת בנו ואת בן בנו עד בא עת ארצו גם הוא ועבדו בו גוים רבים ומלכים גדלים׃
7 (VUL) et servient ei omnes gentes et filio eius et filio filii eius, donec veniat tempus terrae eius etiam ipsius; et servient ei gentes multae et reges magni.
7 (KAT) Všetky národy budú poddané jemu i jeho synovi, i jeho vnukovi, kým nepríde čas aj pre jeho krajinu. Budú mu slúžiť mnohé národy a veľkí králi.
7 (UKJV) And all nations shall serve him, and his son, and his son's son, until the very time of his land come: and then many nations and great kings shall make use of him.

8 (HEM) והיה הגוי והממלכה אשר לא יעבדו אתו את נבוכדנאצר מלך בבל ואת אשר לא יתן את צוארו בעל מלך בבל בחרב וברעב ובדבר אפקד על הגוי ההוא נאם יהוה עד תמי אתם בידו׃
8 (VUL) Gens autem et regnum, quod non servierit Nabuchodonosor regi Babylonis, et quicumque non curvaverit collum suum sub iugo regis Babylonis, in gladio et in fame et in peste visitabo super gentem illam, ait Dominus, donec consumam eos in manu eius.
8 (KAT) Národ však a kráľovstvo, ktoré jemu, babylonskému kráľovi Nabuchodonozorovi, nebude poddané, a národ, ktorý si nevloží šiju do jarma babylonského kráľa, budem stíhať mečom, hladom a morom - hovorí Pán, kým ho nevydám do jeho ruky.
8 (UKJV) And it shall come to pass, that the nation and kingdom which will not serve the same Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and that will not put their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, that nation will I punish, says the LORD, with the sword, and with the famine, and with the pestilence, until I have consumed them by his hand.

9 (HEM) ואתם אל תשמעו אל נביאיכם ואל קסמיכם ואל חלמתיכם ואל ענניכם ואל כשפיכם אשר הם אמרים אליכם לאמר לא תעבדו את מלך בבל׃
9 (VUL) Vos ergo nolite audire prophetas vestros et divinos et somniatores et augures et maleficos, qui dicunt vobis: “Non servietis regi Babylonis”,
9 (KAT) Preto vy nepočúvajte svojich prorokov, veštcov, snárov, hádačov a čarodejov, ktorí vám hovoria: »Nebudete poddaní babylonskému kráľovi!«,
9 (UKJV) Therefore hearken not all of you to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreamers, nor to your enchanters, nor to your sorcerers, which speak unto you, saying, All of you shall not serve the king of Babylon:

10 (HEM) כי שקר הם נבאים לכם למען הרחיק אתכם מעל אדמתכם והדחתי אתכם ואבדתם׃
10 (VUL) quia mendacium prophetant vobis, ut longe vos faciant de terra vestra, et eiciam vos, et pereatis.
10 (KAT) lebo vám prorokujú klamstvo, aby vás vyhnali z vašej krajiny a aby som vás rozohnal tak, že zahyniete.
10 (UKJV) "For they prophesy a lie unto you, to remove you far from your land; and that I should drive you out, and all of you should perish. "

11 (HEM) והגוי אשר יביא את צוארו בעל מלך בבל ועבדו והנחתיו על אדמתו נאם יהוה ועבדה וישב בה׃
11 (VUL) Porro gens, quae subiecerit cervicem suam sub iugo regis Babylonis et servierit ei, dimittam eam in terra sua, dicit Dominus, et colet eam et habitabit in ea ”.

11 (UKJV) "But the nations that bring their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him, those will I let remain still in their own land, says the LORD; and they shall till it, and dwell therein. "

12 (HEM) ואל צדקיה מלך יהודה דברתי ככל הדברים האלה לאמר הביאו את צואריכם בעל מלך בבל ועבדו אתו ועמו וחיו׃
12 (VUL) Et ad Sedeciam regem Iudae locutus sum secundum omnia verba haec dicens: “ Subicite colla vestra sub iugo regis Babylonis et servite ei et populo eius, et vivetis.

13 (HEM) למה תמותו אתה ועמך בחרב ברעב ובדבר כאשר דבר יהוה אל הגוי אשר לא יעבד את מלך בבל׃
13 (VUL) Quare moriemini tu et populus tuus gladio, fame et peste, sicut locutus est Dominus ad gentem, quae servire noluerit regi Babylonis?
13 (KAT) Prečo by ste mali zomrieť ty i tvoj ľud pod mečom, od hladu a na mor, ako hovoril Pán o národe, ktorý sa nepoddá babylonskému kráľovi?
13 (UKJV) Why will all of you die, you and your people, by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, as the LORD has spoken against the nation that will not serve the king of Babylon?

14 (HEM) ואל תשמעו אל דברי הנבאים האמרים אליכם לאמר לא תעבדו את מלך בבל כי שקר הם נבאים לכם׃
14 (VUL) Nolite audire verba prophetarum dicentium vobis: “Non servietis regi Babylonis”, quia mendacium ipsi loquuntur vobis.
14 (KAT) A nepočúvajte reči prorokov, ktorí vám hovoria: »Nepoddajte sa babylonskému kráľovi!«, pretože vám prorokujú klamstvo.
14 (UKJV) Therefore hearken not unto the words of the prophets that speak unto you, saying, All of you shall not serve the king of Babylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you.

15 (HEM) כי לא שלחתים נאם יהוה והם נבאים בשמי לשקר למען הדיחי אתכם ואבדתם אתם והנבאים הנבאים לכם׃
15 (VUL) Quia non misi eos, ait Dominus, et ipsi prophetant in nomine meo mendaciter, ut eiciam vos et pereatis, tam vos quam prophetae, qui vaticinantur vobis ”.

17 (HEM) אל תשמעו אליהם עבדו את מלך בבל וחיו למה תהיה העיר הזאת חרבה׃
17 (VUL) Nolite ergo audire eos, sed servite regi Babylonis, ut vivatis. Quare datur haec civitas in solitudinem?
17 (KAT) Nepočúvajte ich, poddajte sa babylonskému kráľovi, tak ostanete nažive; prečo by toto mesto malo byť zboreniskom?
17 (UKJV) "Hearken not unto them; serve the king of Babylon, and live: wherefore should this city be laid waste? "

18 (HEM) ואם נבאים הם ואם יש דבר יהוה אתם יפגעו נא ביהוה צבאות לבלתי באו הכלים הנותרים בבית יהוה ובית מלך יהודה ובירושלם בבלה׃
18 (VUL) Et si prophetae sunt, et est verbum Domini in eis, occurrant Domino exercituum, ut non veniant vasa, quae derelicta fuerant in domo Domini et in domo regis Iudae et in Ierusalem, in Babylonem ”.

18 (UKJV) But if they be prophets, and if the word of the LORD be with them, let them now make intercession to the LORD of hosts, that the vessels which are left in the house of the LORD, and in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, go not to Babylon.

19 (HEM) כי כה אמר יהוה צבאות אל העמדים ועל הים ועל המכנות ועל יתר הכלים הנותרים בעיר הזאת׃
19 (VUL) Quia haec dicit Dominus exercituum ad columnas et ad mare et ad bases et ad reliqua vasorum, quae remanserunt in civitate hac,

19 (UKJV) For thus says the LORD of hosts concerning the pillars, and concerning the sea, and concerning the bases, and concerning the residue of the vessels that remain in this city.

20 (HEM) אשר לא לקחם נבוכדנאצר מלך בבל בגלותו את יכוניה בן יהויקים מלך יהודה מירושלם בבלה ואת כל חרי יהודה וירושלם׃
20 (VUL) quae non tulit Nabuchodonosor rex Babylonis, cum transferret Iechoniam filium Ioachim regem Iudae de Ierusalem in Babylonem et omnes optimates Iudae et Ierusalem;

22 (HEM) בבלה יובאו ושמה יהיו עד יום פקדי אתם נאם יהוה והעליתים והשיבתים אל המקום הזה׃
22 (VUL) “In Babylonem transferentur et ibi erunt usque ad diem visitationis eorum, dicit Dominus; et afferri faciam ea et restitui in loco isto ”.
