1 (HEM) בראשית ממלכות יהויקים בן יאשיהו מלך יהודה היה הדבר הזה מאת יהוה לאמר׃
1 (VUL) In principio regni Ioachim filii Iosiae regis Iudae factum est verbum istud a Domino dicens:
1 (KAT) Na začiatku panovania Joakima, syna Joziášovho, kráľa júdskeho, oznámil Pán túto reč:
1 (UKJV) In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah came this word from the LORD, saying,

2 (HEM) כה אמר יהוה עמד בחצר בית יהוה ודברת על כל ערי יהודה הבאים להשתחות בית יהוה את כל הדברים אשר צויתיך לדבר אליהם אל תגרע דבר׃
2 (VUL) “ Haec dicit Dominus: Sta in atrio domus Domini et loqueris ad omnes civitates Iudae, de quibus veniunt, ut adorent in domo Domini, universos sermones, quos ego mandavi tibi, ut loquaris ad eos: noli subtrahere verbum,
2 (KAT) „Toto hovorí Pán: Zastaň si v predsieni Pánovho domu a hovor všetkým mestám Júdska, ktoré prichádzajú pokloniť sa v dome Pánovom, všetky slová, ktoré som ti rozkázal povedať im; nevynechaj ani slovíčko!
2 (UKJV) "Thus says the LORD; Stand in the court of the LORD's house, and speak unto all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in the LORD's house, all the words that I command you to speak unto them; diminish not a word: "

3 (HEM) אולי ישמעו וישבו איש מדרכו הרעה ונחמתי אל הרעה אשר אנכי חשב לעשות להם מפני רע מעלליהם׃
3 (VUL) si forte audiant et convertantur unusquisque a via sua mala, et paeniteat me mali, quod cogito facere eis propter malitiam operum eorum.
3 (KAT) Hádam počúvnu a vráti sa každý zo svojej zlej cesty a ja oľutujem nešťastie, ktoré pre ich zločinné skutky zamýšľam na nich dopustiť.
3 (UKJV) If so be they will hearken, and turn every man from his evil way, that I may repent me of the evil, which I purpose to do unto them because of the evil of their doings.

4 (HEM) ואמרת אליהם כה אמר יהוה אם לא תשמעו אלי ללכת בתורתי אשר נתתי לפניכם׃
4 (VUL) Et dices ad eos: Haec dicit Dominus: Si non audieritis me, ut ambuletis in lege mea, quam dedi vobis,
4 (KAT) A povieš im: Toto hovorí Pán: Ak ma nepočúvnete a nebudete kráčať podľa zákona, ktorý som vám dal,
4 (UKJV) "And you shall say unto them, Thus says the LORD; If all of you will not hearken to me, to walk in my law, which I have set before you, "

5 (HEM) לשמע על דברי עבדי הנבאים אשר אנכי שלח אליכם והשכם ושלח ולא שמעתם׃
5 (VUL) ut audiatis sermones servorum meorum prophetarum, quos ego misi ad vos de nocte consurgens et dirigens, et non audistis,
5 (KAT) ak nebudete počúvať slová mojich sluhov, prorokov, ktorých ustavične k vám posielam, hoci ich neposlúchate,
5 (UKJV) "To hearken to the words of my servants the prophets, whom I sent unto you, both rising up early, and sending them, but all of you have not hearkened; "

6 (HEM) ונתתי את הבית הזה כשלה ואת העיר הזאתה אתן לקללה לכל גויי הארץ׃
6 (VUL) dabo domum istam sicut Silo et urbem hanc dabo in maledictionem cunctis gentibus terrae ”.
6 (KAT) vtedy naložím s týmto domom ako so Šílom a toto mesto dám ako kliatbu všetkým národom zeme.“
6 (UKJV) Then will I make this house like Shiloh, and will make this city a curse to all the nations of the earth.

7 (HEM) וישמעו הכהנים והנבאים וכל העם את ירמיהו מדבר את הדברים האלה בבית יהוה׃
7 (VUL) Et audierunt sacerdotes et prophetae et omnis populus Ieremiam loquentem verba haec in domo Domini.
7 (KAT) Kňazi, proroci a všetok ľud počuli Jeremiáša hovoriť tieto slová v dome Pánovom.
7 (UKJV) So the priests and the prophets and all the people heard Jeremiah speaking these words in the house of the LORD.

8 (HEM) ויהי ככלות ירמיהו לדבר את כל אשר צוה יהוה לדבר אל כל העם ויתפשו אתו הכהנים והנבאים וכל העם לאמר מות תמות׃
8 (VUL) Cumque complesset Ieremias loquens omnia, quae praeceperat ei Dominus, ut loqueretur ad universum populum, apprehenderunt eum sacerdotes et prophetae et omnis populus dicens: “ Morte moriaris!
8 (KAT) A keď Jeremiáš dopovedal všetko, čo mu Pán kázal povedať celému ľudu, chytili ho kňazi, proroci a všetok ľud s výkrikom: „Musíš zomrieť!
8 (UKJV) Now it came to pass, when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking all that the LORD had commanded him to speak unto all the people, that the priests and the prophets and all the people took him, saying, You shall surely die.

9 (HEM) מדוע נבית בשם יהוה לאמר כשלו יהיה הבית הזה והעיר הזאת תחרב מאין יושב ויקהל כל העם אל ירמיהו בבית יהוה׃
9 (VUL) Quare prophetasti in nomine Domini dicens: “Sicut Silo erit domus haec, et urbs ista desolabitur, eo quod non sit habitator”? ”. Et congregatus est omnis populus adversus Ieremiam in domo Domini.
9 (KAT) Prečo si prorokoval v mene Pánovom: »Tento dom bude ako Šílo a toto mesto spustne, nebude obývané.«?“ A všetok ľud sa zhrnul v Pánovom dome k Jeremiášovi.
9 (UKJV) Why have you prophesied in the name of the LORD, saying, This house shall be like Shiloh, and this city shall be desolate without an inhabitant? And all the people were gathered against Jeremiah in the house of the LORD.

10 (HEM) וישמעו שרי יהודה את הדברים האלה ויעלו מבית המלך בית יהוה וישבו בפתח שער יהוה החדש׃
10 (VUL) Et audierunt principes Iudae verba haec et ascenderunt de domo regis in domum Domini et sederunt in introitu portae domus Domini Novae.
10 (KAT) Keď sa dopočuli o týchto veciach júdske kniežatá, vybrali sa z kráľovho domu hore do Pánovho domu a zasadli si pri vchode Novej brány Pánovho domu.
10 (UKJV) When the princes of Judah heard these things, then they came up from the king's house unto the house of the LORD, and sat down in the entry of the new gate of the LORD's house.

11 (HEM) ויאמרו הכהנים והנבאים אל השרים ואל כל העם לאמר משפט מות לאיש הזה כי נבא אל העיר הזאת כאשר שמעתם באזניכם׃
11 (VUL) Et locuti sunt sacerdotes et prophetae ad principes et ad omnem populum dicentes: “ Iudicium mortis est viro huic, quia prophetavit adversus civitatem istam, sicut audistis auribus vestris ”.
11 (KAT) Vtedy kňazi a proroci hovorili kniežatám a všetkému ľudu: „Výrok smrti si zasluhuje tento človek, pretože prorokoval proti tomuto mestu, ako ste počuli na vlastné uši.“
11 (UKJV) "Then spoke the priests and the prophets unto the princes and to all the people, saying, This man is worthy to die; for he has prophesied against this city, as all of you have heard with your ears. "

12 (HEM) ויאמר ירמיהו אל כל השרים ואל כל העם לאמר יהוה שלחני להנבא אל הבית הזה ואל העיר הזאת את כל הדברים אשר שמעתם׃
12 (VUL) Et ait Ieremias ad omnes principes et ad universum populum dicens: “ Dominus misit me, ut prophetarem ad domum istam et ad civitatem hanc omnia verba, quae audistis.
12 (KAT) Ale Jeremiáš povedal všetkým kniežatám a všetkému ľudu: „Pán ma poslal prorokovať proti tomuto domu a proti tomuto mestu všetky slová, ktoré ste počuli.
12 (UKJV) Then spoke Jeremiah unto all the princes and to all the people, saying, The LORD sent me to prophesy against this house and against this city all the words that all of you have heard.

13 (HEM) ועתה היטיבו דרכיכם ומעלליכם ושמעו בקול יהוה אלהיכם וינחם יהוה אל הרעה אשר דבר עליכם׃
13 (VUL) Nunc ergo bonas facite vias vestras et opera vestra et audite vocem Domini Dei vestri, et paenitebit Dominum mali, quod locutus est adversum vos.
13 (KAT) Napravte teda svoje cesty a svoje činy a počúvajte hlas Pána, svojho Boha, potom Pán oľutuje zlo, ktoré ohlásil proti vám.
13 (UKJV) "Therefore now amend your ways and your doings, and obey the voice of the LORD your God; and the LORD will repent him of the evil that he has pronounced against you. "

14 (HEM) ואני הנני בידכם עשו לי כטוב וכישר בעיניכם׃
14 (VUL) Ego autem ecce in manibus vestris sum; facite mihi, quod bonum et rectum est in oculis vestris.

14 (UKJV) As for me, behold, I am in your hand: do with me as seems good and meet unto you.

15 (HEM) אך ידע תדעו כי אם ממתים אתם אתי כי דם נקי אתם נתנים עליכם ואל העיר הזאת ואל ישביה כי באמת שלחני יהוה עליכם לדבר באזניכם את כל הדברים האלה׃
15 (VUL) Verumtamen scitote et cognoscite quod si occideritis me, sanguinem innocentem tradetis contra vosmetipsos et contra civitatem istam et habitatores eius; in veritate enim misit me Dominus ad vos, ut loquerer in auribus vestris omnia verba haec ”.
15 (KAT) Ale dobre si uvedomte, že ak ma usmrtíte, nevinnú krv uvalíte na seba, na toto mesto a na jeho obyvateľov, lebo ma naozaj Pán poslal k vám, aby som vám povedal do uší všetky tieto slová.“
15 (UKJV) But know all of you for certain, that if all of you put me to death, all of you shall surely bring innocent blood upon yourselves, and upon this city, and upon the inhabitants thereof: for truthfully the LORD has sent me unto you to speak all these words in your ears.

16 (HEM) ויאמרו השרים וכל העם אל הכהנים ואל הנביאים אין לאיש הזה משפט מות כי בשם יהוה אלהינו דבר אלינו׃
16 (VUL) Et dixerunt principes et omnis populus ad sacerdotes et prophetas: “ Non est viro huic iudicium mortis, quia in nomine Domini Dei nostri locutus est ad nos ”.
16 (KAT) Tu povedali kniežatá a všetok ľud kňazom a prorokom: „Tento človek nezasluhuje smrť, pretože nám hovoril v mene Pána, nášho Boha.“
16 (UKJV) "Then said the princes and all the people unto the priests and to the prophets; This man is not worthy to die: for he has spoken to us in the name of the LORD our God. "

17 (HEM) ויקמו אנשים מזקני הארץ ויאמרו אל כל קהל העם לאמר׃
17 (VUL) Surrexerunt ergo viri de senioribus terrae et dixerunt ad omnem coetum populi loquentes:
17 (KAT) Vstali aj mužovia spomedzi starších krajiny a povedali celému zhromaždenému národu:
17 (UKJV) Then rose up certain of the elders of the land, and spoke to all the assembly of the people, saying,

18 (HEM) מיכיה המורשתי היה נבא בימי חזקיהו מלך יהודה ויאמר אל כל עם יהודה לאמר כה אמר יהוה צבאות ציון שדה תחרש וירושלים עיים תהיה והר הבית לבמות יער׃
18 (VUL) “ Michaeas Morasthites fuit propheta in diebus Ezechiae regis Iudae et ait ad omnem populum Iudae dicens: “Haec dicit Dominus exercituum: Sion quasi ager arabitur, et Ierusalem in acervum lapidum erit, et mons domus in excelsa silvarum”.
18 (KAT) „Micheáš z Morešetu bol prorok v dňoch júdskeho kráľa Ezechiáša a povedal celému júdskemu ľudu: »Toto hovorí Pán zástupov: Sion zorú ako roľu, Jeruzalem bude zborenisko a chrámový vrch lesná výšina.«
18 (UKJV) "Micah the Morasthite prophesied in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, and spoke to all the people of Judah, saying, Thus says the LORD of hosts; Zion shall be plowed like a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of a forest. "

19 (HEM) ההמת המתהו חזקיהו מלך יהודה וכל יהודה הלא ירא את יהוה ויחל את פני יהוה וינחם יהוה אל הרעה אשר דבר עליהם ואנחנו עשים רעה גדולה על נפשותינו׃
19 (VUL) Numquid morte condemnavit eum Ezechias rex Iudae et omnis Iuda? Numquid non timuerunt Dominum et deprecati sunt faciem Domini, et paenituit Dominum mali, quod locutus fuerat adversum eos? Et nos facimus malum grande contra animas nostras! ”.

19 (UKJV) Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah put him at all to death? did he not fear the LORD, and besought the LORD, and the LORD repented him of the evil which he had pronounced against them? Thus might we procure great evil against our souls.

20 (HEM) וגם איש היה מתנבא בשם יהוה אוריהו בן שמעיהו מקרית היערים וינבא על העיר הזאת ועל הארץ הזאת ככל דברי ירמיהו׃
20 (VUL) Fuit quoque vir prophetans in nomine Domini Urias filius Semei de Cariathiarim et prophetavit adversus civitatem istam et adversus terram hanc iuxta omnia verba Ieremiae.
20 (KAT) Ešte prorokoval v mene Pánovom akýsi muž, Uriáš, syn Semeiášov, z Kariatiarimu. A prorokoval proti tomuto mestu a proti tejto krajine všetko to isté, čo Jeremiáš.
20 (UKJV) And there was also a man that prophesied in the name of the LORD, Urijah the son of Shemaiah of Kirjathjearim, who prophesied against this city and against this land according to all the words of Jeremiah.

21 (HEM) וישמע המלך יהויקים וכל גבוריו וכל השרים את דבריו ויבקש המלך המיתו וישמע אוריהו וירא ויברח ויבא מצרים׃
21 (VUL) Et audivit rex Ioachim et omnes potentes et principes eius verba haec, et quaesivit rex interficere eum; et audivit Urias et timuit fugitque et ingressus est Aegyptum.
21 (KAT) I počul jeho slová Joakim, všetci jeho dôstojníci a všetky kniežatá, takže ho kráľ hľadal, aby ho usmrtil. Keď to Uriáš počul, bál sa, utiekol a uchýlil sa do Egypta.
21 (UKJV) "And when Jehoiakim the king, with all his mighty men, and all the princes, heard his words, the king sought to put him to death: but when Urijah heard it, he was afraid, and fled, and went into Egypt; "

22 (HEM) וישלח המלך יהויקים אנשים מצרים את אלנתן בן עכבור ואנשים אתו אל מצרים׃
22 (VUL) Et misit rex Ioachim viros in Aegyptum, Elnathan filium Achobor et viros cum eo in Aegyptum;
22 (KAT) Kráľ Joakim poslal do Egypta mužov, (Elnatana, syna Achoborovho, a mužov s ním do Egypta).
22 (UKJV) And Jehoiakim the king sent men into Egypt, namely, Elnathan the son of Achbor, and certain men with him into Egypt.

23 (HEM) ויוציאו את אוריהו ממצרים ויבאהו אל המלך יהויקים ויכהו בחרב וישלך את נבלתו אל קברי בני העם׃
23 (VUL) et eduxerunt Uriam de Aegypto et adduxerunt eum ad regem Ioachim, et percussit eum gladio et proiecit cadaver eius in sepulcris filiorum vulgi.
23 (KAT) I vyvliekli Uriáša z Egypta a priviedli ho ku kráľovi Joakimovi; ten ho dal zabiť mečom a jeho mŕtvolu dal hodiť do hrobky pospolitých ľudí.
23 (UKJV) "And they fetched forth Urijah out of Egypt, and brought him unto Jehoiakim the king; who slew him with the sword, and cast his dead body into the graves of the common people. "

24 (HEM) אך יד אחיקם בן שפן היתה את ירמיהו לבלתי תת אתו ביד העם להמיתו׃
24 (VUL) Igitur manus Ahicam filii Saphan fuit cum Ieremia, ut non traderetur in manus populi, et interficerent eum.
24 (KAT) Ale Achikam, syn Safanov, držal ruku nad Jeremiášom, aby ho nevydali na smrť do rúk ľudu.
24 (UKJV) Nevertheless the hand of Ahikam the son of Shaphan was with Jeremiah, that they should not give him into the hand of the people to put him to death.
