1 (HEM) הראני יהוה והנה שני דודאי תאנים מועדים לפני היכל יהוה אחרי הגלות נבוכדראצר מלך בבל את יכניהו בן יהויקים מלך יהודה ואת שרי יהודה ואת החרש ואת המסגר מירושלם ויבאם בבל׃
1 (VUL) Ostendit mihi Dominus, et ecce duo calathi pleni ficis positi ante templum Domini, postquam transtulit Nabuchodonosor rex Babylonis Iechoniam filium Ioachim regem Iudae et principes eius et fabrum et inclusorem de Ierusalem et adduxit eos in Babylonem.
1 (KAT) Pán mi dal videnie: Hľa, dva koše fíg boli postavené pred Pánovým chrámom, keď už babylonský kráľ Nabuchodonozor zajal z Jeruzalema Jechoniáša, syna Joakimovho, júdskeho kráľa, a júdske kniežatá, kováčov a zámočníkov a odviedol ich do Babylonu.
1 (UKJV) The LORD showed me, and, behold, two baskets of figs were set before the temple of the LORD, after that Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon had carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, and the princes of Judah, with the carpenters and smiths, from Jerusalem, and had brought them to Babylon.

2 (HEM) הדוד אחד תאנים טבות מאד כתאני הבכרות והדוד אחד תאנים רעות מאד אשר לא תאכלנה מרע׃
2 (VUL) Calathus unus ficus bonas habebat nimis, ut solent ficus esse primi temporis; et calathus unus ficus habebat malas nimis, quae comedi non poterant, eo quod essent malae.
2 (KAT) V jednom koši boli figy veľmi dobré, ako figy včasné, v druhom koši zasa figy veľmi zlé, také zlé, že sa nedali jesť.
2 (UKJV) One basket had very good figs, even like the figs that are first ripe: and the other basket had very naughty figs, which could not be eaten, they were so bad.

3 (HEM) ויאמר יהוה אלי מה אתה ראה ירמיהו ואמר תאנים התאנים הטבות טבות מאד והרעות רעות מאד אשר לא תאכלנה מרע׃
3 (VUL) Et dixit Dominus ad me: “ Quid tu vides, Ieremia? ”. Et dixi: “ Ficus, ficus bonas, bonas valde, et malas, malas valde, quae comedi non possunt, eo quod sint malae ”.
3 (KAT) A Pán sa ma spýtal: „Čo vidíš, Jeremiáš?“ Odpovedal som: „Figy. Dobré figy sú veľmi dobré, zlé však sú veľmi zlé, také zlé, že sa nedajú jesť.“
3 (UKJV) "Then said the LORD unto me, What see you, Jeremiah? And I said, Figs; the good figs, very good; and the evil, very evil, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil. "

4 (HEM) ויהי דבר יהוה אלי לאמר׃
4 (VUL) Et factum est verbum Domini ad me dicens:
4 (KAT) Vtedy Pán prehovoril ku mne takto:
4 (UKJV) Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

5 (HEM) כה אמר יהוה אלהי ישראל כתאנים הטבות האלה כן אכיר את גלות יהודה אשר שלחתי מן המקום הזה ארץ כשדים לטובה׃
5 (VUL) “ Haec dicit Dominus, Deus Israel: Sicut ficus hae bonae, sic cognoscam transmigrationem Iudae, quam emisi de loco isto in terram Chaldaeorum, in bonum.
5 (KAT) „Toto hovorí Pán, Boh Izraela: Ako na tieto dobré figy, tak dobrotivo zhliadnem na zajatcov Júdu, ktorých som z tohto miesta poslal do krajiny Chaldejcov.
5 (UKJV) "Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel; Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge them that are carried away captive of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans for their good. "

6 (HEM) ושמתי עיני עליהם לטובה והשבתים על הארץ הזאת ובניתים ולא אהרס ונטעתים ולא אתוש׃
6 (VUL) Et ponam oculos meos super eos ad placandum et reducam eos in terram hanc et aedificabo eos et non destruam et plantabo eos et non evellam.
6 (KAT) Môj zrak teda spočinie na nich dobrotivo a prinavrátim ich do tejto krajiny. Zveľadím ich a nezrúcam, zasadím ich a nevytrhám.
6 (UKJV) "For I will set mine eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them again to this land: and I will build them, and not pull them down; and I will plant them, and not pluck them up. "

7 (HEM) ונתתי להם לב לדעת אתי כי אני יהוה והיו לי לעם ואנכי אהיה להם לאלהים כי ישבו אלי בכל לבם׃
7 (VUL) Et dabo eis cor, ut sciant me quia ego sum Dominus; et erunt mihi in populum, et ego ero eis in Deum, quia revertentur ad me in toto corde suo.
7 (KAT) Dám im srdce, aby ma poznali, veď ja som Pán; budú teda mojím ľudom a ja im budem Bohom, pretože sa vrátia ku mne celým svojím srdcom.
7 (UKJV) And I will give them an heart to know me, that I am the LORD: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart.

8 (HEM) וכתאנים הרעות אשר לא תאכלנה מרע כי כה אמר יהוה כן אתן את צדקיהו מלך יהודה ואת שריו ואת שארית ירושלם הנשארים בארץ הזאת והישבים בארץ מצרים׃
8 (VUL) Et sicut ficus pessimae, quae comedi non possunt, eo quod sint malae, haec dicit Dominus, sic dabo Sedeciam regem Iudae et principes eius et reliquos de Ierusalem, qui remanserunt in terra hac et qui habitant in terra Aegypti.
8 (KAT) Ale ako zlé figy, ktoré sú také zlé, že sa nedajú jesť - toto hovorí Pán, takými urobím júdskeho kráľa Sedekiáša i jeho kniežatá, i zvyšky Jeruzalema, ktoré ostali v tejto krajine a ktoré bývajú v Egypte.
8 (UKJV) "And as the evil figs, which cannot be eaten, they are so evil; surely thus says the LORD, So will I give Zedekiah the king of Judah, and his princes, and the residue of Jerusalem, that remain in this land, and them that dwell in the land of Egypt: "

9 (HEM) ונתתים לזועה לרעה לכל ממלכות הארץ לחרפה ולמשל לשנינה ולקללה בכל המקמות אשר אדיחם שם׃
9 (VUL) Et dabo eos in vexationem afflictionemque omnibus regnis terrae, in opprobrium et in proverbium et in derisum et in maledictionem in universis locis, ad quae eieci eos.
9 (KAT) Urobím ich postrachom a nešťastím pre všetky kráľovstvá zeme, hanbou a príslovím, posmechom a kliatbou na každom mieste, kam ich len zaženiem.
9 (UKJV) And I will deliver them to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth for their hurt, to be a reproach and a proverb, a taunt and a curse, in all places where I shall drive them.

10 (HEM) ושלחתי בם את החרב את הרעב ואת הדבר עד תמם מעל האדמה אשר נתתי להם ולאבותיהם׃
10 (VUL) Et mittam in eis gladium et famem et pestem, donec consumantur de terra, quam dedi eis et patribus eorum ”.
10 (KAT) Dopustím na nich meč, hlad a mor, kým ich nevyhubím zo zeme, ktorú som dal im a ich otcom.“
10 (UKJV) And I will send the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, among them, till they be consumed from off the land that I gave unto them and to their fathers.
