Kniha proroka Jeremiáša

1 (HEM) וישמע פשחור בן אמר הכהן והוא פקיד נגיד בבית יהוה את ירמיהו נבא את הדברים האלה׃
1 (VUL) Et audivit Phassur filius Em mer sacerdos, qui constitutus erat princeps in domo Domini, Ieremiam prophetantem sermones istos;
1 (KAT) Lenže kňaz Pášur, syn Imerov - bol dozorca, hodnostár v dome Pánovom -, počul, keď Jeremiáš ohlasoval toto proroctvo.
1 (UKJV) Now Pashur the son of Immer the priest, who was also chief governor in the house of the LORD, heard that Jeremiah prophesied these things.

2 (HEM) ויכה פשחור את ירמיהו הנביא ויתן אתו על המהפכת אשר בשער בנימן העליון אשר בבית יהוה׃
2 (VUL) et percussit Phassur Ieremiam prophetam et misit eum in nervum, quod erat in porta Beniamin superiore in domo Domini.
2 (KAT) Vtedy dal Pášur proroka Jeremiáša zbičovať a dal ho vložiť do klady, ktorá bola vedľa Hornej, Benjamínovej brány, pri Pánovom chráme.
2 (UKJV) Then Pashur stroke Jeremiah the prophet, and put him in the stocks that were in the high gate of Benjamin, which was by the house of the LORD.

3 (HEM) ויהי ממחרת ויצא פשחור את ירמיהו מן המהפכת ויאמר אליו ירמיהו לא פשחור קרא יהוה שמך כי אם מגור מסביב׃
3 (VUL) Cumque illuxisset in crastinum, eduxit Phassur Ieremiam de nervo; et dixit ad eum Ieremias: “ Non Phassur vocavit Dominus nomen tuum sed Pavorem undique.

3 (UKJV) And it came to pass on the next day, that Pashur brought forth Jeremiah out of the stocks. Then said Jeremiah unto him, The LORD has not called your name Pashur, but Magormissabib.

4 (HEM) כי כה אמר יהוה הנני נתנך למגור לך ולכל אהביך ונפלו בחרב איביהם ועיניך ראות ואת כל יהודה אתן ביד מלך בבל והגלם בבלה והכם בחרב׃
4 (VUL) Quia haec dicit Dominus: Ecce ego dabo te in pavorem, te et omnes amicos tuos, et corruent gladio inimicorum suorum, et oculi tui videbunt; et omnem Iudam dabo in manu regis Babylonis, et traducet eos in Babylonem et percutiet eos gladio.
4 (KAT) Lebo toto hovorí Pán: Veru, urobím ťa hrôzou tebe samému a všetkým tvojim priateľom. Padnú pod mečom svojich nepriateľov a tvoje oči budú hľadieť na to. Celého Júdu však vydám do rúk babylonského kráľa, presídli ich do Babylonu a pobije ich mečom.
4 (UKJV) For thus says the LORD, Behold, I will make you a terror to yourself, and to all your friends: and they shall fall by the sword of their enemies, and your eyes shall behold it: and I will give all Judah into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall carry them captive into Babylon, and shall slay them with the sword.

5 (HEM) ונתתי את כל חסן העיר הזאת ואת כל יגיעה ואת כל יקרה ואת כל אוצרות מלכי יהודה אתן ביד איביהם ובזזום ולקחום והביאום בבלה׃
5 (VUL) Et dabo universam substantiam civitatis huius et omnem laborem eius omneque pretium et cunctos thesauros regum Iudae dabo in manu inimicorum eorum; et diripient eos et tollent et ducent in Babylonem.
5 (KAT) A vydám všetok majetok tohto mesta, všetok jeho zisk i všetky jeho cennosti; aj všetky poklady júdskych kráľov vydám do rúk ich nepriateľov, vyplienia ich, vezmú a odnesú do Babylonu.
5 (UKJV) Moreover I will deliver all the strength of this city, and all the labours thereof, and all the precious things thereof, and all the treasures of the kings of Judah will I give into the hand of their enemies, which shall spoil them, and take them, and carry them to Babylon.

6 (HEM) ואתה פשחור וכל ישבי ביתך תלכו בשבי ובבל תבוא ושם תמות ושם תקבר אתה וכל אהביך אשר נבאת להם בשקר׃
6 (VUL) Tu autem, Phassur et omnes habitatores domus tuae, ibitis in captivitatem; et in Babylonem venies et ibi morieris ibique sepelieris, tu et omnes amici tui, quibus prophetasti mendacium ”.
6 (KAT) A ty, Pášur, aj všetci obyvatelia tvojho domu pôjdete do zajatia. Do Bábelu pôjdeš, tam zomrieš a tam ťa pochovajú, teba i všetkých tvojich priateľov, ktorým si falošne prorokoval.“
6 (UKJV) And you, Pashur, and all that dwell in your house shall go into captivity: and you shall come to Babylon, and there you shall die, and shall be buried there, you, and all your friends, to whom you have prophesied lies.

7 (HEM) פתיתני יהוה ואפת חזקתני ותוכל הייתי לשחוק כל היום כלה לעג לי׃
7 (VUL) Seduxisti me, Domine, et seductus sum; fortior me fuisti et invaluisti. Factus sum in derisum tota die, omnes subsannant me.
7 (KAT) Zvádzal si ma, Pane, nuž dal som sa zviesť, uchopil si ma a premohol. Som na posmech celý deň, každý sa mi posmieva.
7 (UKJV) "O LORD, you have deceived me, and I was deceived; you are stronger than I, and have prevailed: I am in derision daily, every one mocks me. "

8 (HEM) כי מדי אדבר אזעק חמס ושד אקרא כי היה דבר יהוה לי לחרפה ולקלס כל היום׃
8 (VUL) Quia quotiescumque loquor, vociferor, iniquitatem et vastitatem clamito; et factus est mihi sermo Domini in opprobrium et in derisum tota die.
8 (KAT) Kedykoľvek hovorím, len kričím: „Násilie a lúpež!“ volám. Veď Pánovo slovo mi slúži na hanbu a výsmech celý deň!
8 (UKJV) "For since I spoke, I cried out, I cried violence and spoil; because the word of the LORD was made a reproach unto me, and a derision, daily. "

9 (HEM) ואמרתי לא אזכרנו ולא אדבר עוד בשמו והיה בלבי כאש בערת עצר בעצמתי ונלאיתי כלכל ולא אוכל׃
9 (VUL) Et dixi: “ Non recordabor eius neque loquar ultra in nomine illius ”. Et factus est in corde meo quasi ignis exaestuans claususque in ossibus meis: et defeci, ferre non sustinens.

10 (HEM) כי שמעתי דבת רבים מגור מסביב הגידו ונגידנו כל אנוש שלומי שמרי צלעי אולי יפתה ונוכלה לו ונקחה נקמתנו ממנו׃
10 (VUL) Audivi enim contumelias multorum et terrorem in circuitu: “ Denuntiate, et denuntiemus eum ”. Omnes pacifici mei observabant lapsum meum: “ Forte decipietur, et praevalebimus adversus eum et consequemur ultionem ex eo ”.

11 (HEM) ויהוה אותי כגבור עריץ על כן רדפי יכשלו ולא יכלו בשו מאד כי לא השכילו כלמת עולם לא תשכח׃
11 (VUL) Dominus autem mecum est quasi bellator fortis; idcirco, qui persequuntur me, cadent et infirmi erunt. Confundentur vehementer, quia non prosperati sunt; opprobrium sempiternum, quod numquam delebitur.
11 (KAT) Ale Pán je so mnou ako mocný hrdina, nuž moji prenasledovatelia sa potknú a nič nezmôžu, zahanbia sa veľmi, že nič nedosiahli, hanbou večnou, nezabudnuteľnou.
11 (UKJV) "But the LORD is with me as a mighty terrible one: therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail: they shall be greatly ashamed; for they shall not prosper: their everlasting confusion shall never be forgotten. "

12 (HEM) ויהוה צבאות בחן צדיק ראה כליות ולב אראה נקמתך מהם כי אליך גליתי את ריבי׃
12 (VUL) Et tu, Domine exercituum, probator iusti, qui vides renes et cor, videam, quaeso, ultionem tuam ex eis; tibi enim revelavi causam meam.
12 (KAT) Pane zástupov, čo skúmaš spravodlivého, čo prezrieš myseľ a srdce, nechže vidím na nich tvoju pomstu, veď som tebe zveril svoj spor.
12 (UKJV) But, O LORD of hosts, that try the righteous, and see the reins and the heart, let me see your vengeance on them: for unto you have I opened my cause.

13 (HEM) שירו ליהוה הללו את יהוה כי הציל את נפש אביון מיד מרעים׃
13 (VUL) Cantate Domino, laudate Dominum, quia liberavit animam pauperis de manu malorum.
13 (KAT) Spievajte Pánovi, oslavujte Pána, veď život bedára vytrhol z ruky zločincov!
13 (UKJV) Sing unto the LORD, praise all of you the LORD: for he has delivered the soul of the poor from the hand of evildoers.

14 (HEM) ארור היום אשר ילדתי בו יום אשר ילדתני אמי אל יהי ברוך׃
14 (VUL) Maledicta dies, in qua natus sum; dies, in qua peperit me mater mea, non sit benedicta.
14 (KAT) Prekliaty deň, v ktorý som sa narodil! Deň, v ktorý ma porodila matka, nech nie je požehnaný!
14 (UKJV) Cursed be the day wherein I was born: let not the day wherein my mother bare me be blessed.

15 (HEM) ארור האיש אשר בשר את אבי לאמר ילד לך בן זכר שמח שמחהו׃
15 (VUL) Maledictus vir, qui annuntiavit patri meo dicens: “ Natus est tibi puer masculus ” et gaudio laetificavit eum;
15 (KAT) Prekliaty muž, ktorý oznámil môjmu otcovi: „Dieťa sa ti narodilo, chlapček!“ - a naplnil ho radosťou.
15 (UKJV) "Cursed be the man who brought tidings to my father, saying, A male child is born unto you; making him very glad. "

16 (HEM) והיה האיש ההוא כערים אשר הפך יהוה ולא נחם ושמע זעקה בבקר ותרועה בעת צהרים׃
16 (VUL) sit homo ille, ut sunt civitates, quas subvertit Dominus et non paenituit eum: audiat clamorem mane et ululatum in tempore meridiano,

16 (UKJV) "And let that man be as the cities which the LORD overthrew, and repented not: and let him hear the cry in the morning, and the shouting at noontide; "

17 (HEM) אשר לא מותתני מרחם ותהי לי אמי קברי ורחמה הרת עולם׃
17 (VUL) qui non me interfecit a vulva, ut fieret mihi mater mea sepulcrum, et vulva eius conceptus aeternus.
17 (KAT) Pretože ma neusmrtil v lone, aby mi bola matka hrobom, jej život večne ťarchavý.
17 (UKJV) "Because he slew me not from the womb; or that my mother might have been my grave, and her womb to be always great with me. "

18 (HEM) למה זה מרחם יצאתי לראות עמל ויגון ויכלו בבשת ימי׃
18 (VUL) Quare de vulva egressus sum, ut viderem laborem et dolorem, et consumerentur in confusione dies mei?

18 (UKJV) Wherefore came I forth out of the womb to see labour and sorrow, that my days should be consumed with shame?
