1 (HEM) ויהי דבר יהוה אלי לאמר׃
1 (VUL) Et factum est verbum Domi ni ad me dicens:
1 (KAT) Pán prehovoril ku mne takto:
1 (UKJV) The word of the LORD came also unto me, saying,

2 (HEM) לא תקח לך אשה ולא יהיו לך בנים ובנות במקום הזה׃
2 (VUL) “ Non acci pies uxorem, et non erunt tibi filii et filiae in loco isto.
2 (KAT) „Nevezmi si manželku a nemaj synov ani dcéry na tomto mieste!
2 (UKJV) You shall not take you a wife, neither shall you have sons or daughters in this place.

3 (HEM) כי כה אמר יהוה על הבנים ועל הבנות הילודים במקום הזה ועל אמתם הילדות אותם ועל אבותם המולדים אותם בארץ הזאת׃
3 (VUL) Quia haec dicit Dominus super filios et filias, qui generantur in loco isto, et super matres eorum, quae genuerunt eos, et super patres eorum, de quorum stirpe sunt nati in terra hac:
3 (KAT) Lebo toto hovorí Pán o synoch a dcérach, narodených na tomto mieste, a o ich matkách, ktoré ich zrodia, a o ich otcoch, ktorí ich splodia v tejto krajine:
3 (UKJV) "For thus says the LORD concerning the sons and concerning the daughters that are born in this place, and concerning their mothers that bare them, and concerning their fathers that brings forth them in this land; "

4 (HEM) ממותי תחלאים ימתו לא יספדו ולא יקברו לדמן על פני האדמה יהיו ובחרב וברעב יכלו והיתה נבלתם למאכל לעוף השמים ולבהמת הארץ׃
4 (VUL) Mortibus aegrotationum morientur, non plangentur et non sepelientur; in sterquilinium super faciem terrae erunt et gladio et fame consumentur, et erit cadaver eorum in escam volatilibus caeli et bestiis terrae ”.
4 (KAT) Zomrú smrťou plnou múk, neoplačú ich, ani nepochovajú, budú na zemi ako hnoj; zahynú mečom a hladom, ich mŕtvoly budú pokrmom vtákov nebies a zvierat zeme.“
4 (UKJV) "They shall die of grievous deaths; they shall not be lamented; neither shall they be buried; but they shall be as dung upon the face of the earth: and they shall be consumed by the sword, and by famine; and their carcasses shall be food for the fowls of heaven, and for the beasts of the earth. "

5 (HEM) כי כה אמר יהוה אל תבוא בית מרזח ואל תלך לספוד ואל תנד להם כי אספתי את שלומי מאת העם הזה נאם יהוה את החסד ואת הרחמים׃
5 (VUL) Haec enim dixit Dominus: “Ne ingrediaris domum convivii neque vadas ad plangendum neque lugebis eos, quia abstuli pacem meam a populo isto, dicit Dominus, misericordiam et miserationes.

6 (HEM) ומתו גדלים וקטנים בארץ הזאת לא יקברו ולא יספדו להם ולא יתגדד ולא יקרח להם׃

6 (KAT) Veľkí i malí pomrú v tejto krajine, nepochovajú ich, ani ich neoplačú a nik sa neporaní, ani neostrihá pre nich.
6 (UKJV) Both the great and the small shall die in this land: they shall not be buried, neither shall men lament for them, nor cut themselves, nor make themselves bald for them:

7 (HEM) ולא יפרסו להם על אבל לנחמו על מת ולא ישקו אותם כוס תנחומים על אביו ועל אמו׃
7 (VUL) Et non frangent lugenti panem ad consolandum super mortuo et non dabunt ei calicem ad consolandum super patre suo et matre.
7 (KAT) A nebudú lámať smútočný chlieb, aby ich potešili pre mŕtvych, ani im nedajú piť kalich útechy za otcom a za matkou.

9 (VUL) Quia haec dicit Dominus exercituum, Deus Israel: Ecce ego auferam de loco isto in oculis vestris et in diebus vestris vocem gaudii et vocem laetitiae, vocem sponsi et vocem sponsae.

10 (VUL) Et cum annuntiaveris populo huic omnia verba haec, et dixerint tibi: “Quare locutus est Dominus super nos omne malum grande istud? Quae iniquitas nostra et quod peccatum nostrum, quod peccavimus Domino Deo nostro?”,

10 (UKJV) And it shall come to pass, when you shall show this people all these words, and they shall say unto you, Wherefore has the LORD pronounced all this great evil against us? or what is our iniquity? or what is our sin that we have committed against the LORD our God?

11 (HEM) ואמרת אליהם על אשר עזבו אבותיכם אותי נאם יהוה וילכו אחרי אלהים אחרים ויעבדום וישתחוו להם ואתי עזבו ואת תורתי לא שמרו׃

12 (HEM) ואתם הרעתם לעשות מאבותיכם והנכם הלכים איש אחרי שררות לבו הרע לבלתי שמע אלי׃

13 (HEM) והטלתי אתכם מעל הארץ הזאת על הארץ אשר לא ידעתם אתם ואבותיכם ועבדתם שם את אלהים אחרים יומם ולילה אשר לא אתן לכם חנינה׃
13 (VUL) Et eiciam vos de terra hac in terram, quam ignoratis, vos et patres vestri; et servietis ibi diis alienis, die ac nocte, quia non dabo vobis gratiam.

13 (UKJV) "Therefore will I cast you out of this land into a land that all of you know not, neither all of you nor your fathers; and there shall all of you serve other gods day and night; where I will not show you favour. "

14 (HEM) לכן הנה ימים באים נאם יהוה ולא יאמר עוד חי יהוה אשר העלה את בני ישראל מארץ מצרים׃

17 (HEM) כי עיני על כל דרכיהם לא נסתרו מלפני ולא נצפן עונם מנגד עיני׃
17 (VUL) Quia oculi mei super omnes vias eorum: non sunt absconditae a facie mea, et non est occulta iniquitas eorum ab oculis meis.
17 (KAT) Lebo mám oči na všetkých ich cestách, predo mnou sa neschovajú a ich hriech nie je skrytý pred mojím zrakom.
17 (UKJV) For mine eyes are upon all their ways: they are not hid from my face, neither is their iniquity hid from mine eyes.

18 (HEM) ושלמתי ראשונה משנה עונם וחטאתם על חללם את ארצי בנבלת שקוציהם ותועבותיהם מלאו את נחלתי׃
18 (VUL) Et reddam primum dupliciter iniquitates et peccata eorum, quia contaminaverunt terram meam in morticinis idolorum suorum et abominationibus suis impleverunt hereditatem meam ”.

20 (HEM) היעשה לו אדם אלהים והמה לא אלהים׃

20 (KAT) Nuž či si človek urobí bohov? Veď sú to nie bohovia!
20 (UKJV) Shall a man make gods unto himself, and they are no gods?

21 (HEM) לכן הנני מודיעם בפעם הזאת אודיעם את ידי ואת גבורתי וידעו כי שמי יהוה׃
21 (VUL) “ Idcirco ecce ego ostendam eis per vicem hanc, ostendam eis manum meam et virtutem meam, et scient quia nomen mihi Dominus ”.
