1 (HEM) צדיק אתה יהוה כי אריב אליך אך משפטים אדבר אותך מדוע דרך רשעים צלחה שלו כל בגדי בגד׃
1 (VUL) Iustus quidem tu es, Domine, si disputem tecum; verumtamen de iudiciis loquar ad te. Quare via impiorum prosperatur? Bene est omnibus, qui praevaricantur et inique agunt.

1 (UKJV) Righteous are you, O LORD, when I plead with you: yet let me talk with you of your judgments: Wherefore does the way of the wicked prosper? wherefore are all they happy that deal very treacherously?

2 (HEM) נטעתם גם שרשו ילכו גם עשו פרי קרוב אתה בפיהם ורחוק מכליותיהם׃
2 (VUL) Plantasti eos, et radicem miserunt, proficiunt et faciunt fructum; prope es tu ori eorum et longe a renibus eorum.
2 (KAT) Zasadil si ich a zakorenili sa, rástli a priniesli ovocie; si blízky ich ústam, ale ďaleký ich srdcu.

3 (HEM) ואתה יהוה ידעתני תראני ובחנת לבי אתך התקם כצאן לטבחה והקדשם ליום הרגה׃
3 (VUL) Et tu, Domine, nosti me, vidisti me et probasti cor meum tecum; segrega eos quasi gregem ad victimam et sanctifica eos in diem occisionis.
3 (KAT) Ty ma však, Pane, poznáš, vidíš ma, skúmaš, aké mám voči tebe srdce. Veď ich ako ovce na jatku a zasväť ich pre deň zabíjania!
3 (UKJV) But you, O LORD, know me: you have seen me, and tried mine heart toward you: pull them out like sheep for the slaughter, and prepare them for the day of slaughter.

4 (HEM) עד מתי תאבל הארץ ועשב כל השדה ייבש מרעת ישבי בה ספתה בהמות ועוף כי אמרו לא יראה את אחריתנו׃
4 (VUL) Usquequo lugebit terra, et herba omnis regionis siccabitur propter malitiam habitantium in ea? Consumptum est animal et volucre, quoniam dixerunt: “Non videbit novissima nostra”.
4 (KAT) Dokedy bude smútiť zem a vädnúť zeleň všetkých polí pre zlobu jej obyvateľov? Hynú zvieratá i vtáctvo, lebo vravia: „Nevidí našu budúcnosť.“
4 (UKJV) "How long shall the land mourn, and the herbs of every field wither, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein? the beasts are consumed, and the birds; because they said, He shall not see our last end. "

5 (HEM) כי את רגלים רצתה וילאוך ואיך תתחרה את הסוסים ובארץ שלום אתה בוטח ואיך תעשה בגאון הירדן׃

6 (HEM) כי גם אחיך ובית אביך גם המה בגדו בך גם המה קראו אחריך מלא אל תאמן בם כי ידברו אליך טובות׃

12 (HEM) על כל שפים במדבר באו שדדים כי חרב ליהוה אכלה מקצה ארץ ועד קצה הארץ אין שלום לכל בשר׃
12 (VUL) Super omnes colles in deserto venerunt vastatores, quia gladius Domini devorat ab extremo terrae usque ad extremum eius; non est pax universae carni.

14 (VUL) Haec dicit Dominus adversum omnes vicinos meos pessimos, qui tangunt hereditatem, quam distribui populo meo Israel: “Ecce ego evellam eos de terra sua et domum Iudae evellam de medio eorum.
