Iz 66, 1-24

1 (UKJV) Thus says the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that all of you build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?
1 (ROH) Takto hovorí Hospodin: Nebesia sú mi stolicou, a zem je podnožou mojich nôh. Kde jaký je to dom, ktorý mi vystavíte? Alebo kde je nejaké miesto môjho odpočinku?

2 (UKJV) For all those things has mine hand made, and all those things have been, says the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembles at my word.
2 (ROH) Veď to všetko učinila moja ruka, a tak sa to všetko stalo, hovorí Hospodin. Ale na tohoto hľadím: na utrápeného a na toho, kto je zdrteného ducha a trasie sa nad mojím slovom.

3 (UKJV) "He that kills an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrifices a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck; he that offers an oblation, as if he offered swine's blood; he that burns incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delights in their abominations. "
3 (ROH) Ináče ten, kto poráža vola, zabíja človeka; ten, kto zabíja dobytča na obeť, láme psovi krk; ten, kto obetuje obilný dar, obetuje sviňskú krv; kto na pamäť kadí kadivo, dobrorečí modle. Jako si oni vyvolili svoje cesty, a jako si ich duša ľubuje v ich ohavnostiach,

4 (UKJV) "I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spoke, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not. "
4 (ROH) tak si i ja vyvolím to, čo treba za ich všelijakú prostopaš, a to, čoho sa strachujú, uvediem na nich. Pretože keď som volal, nebolo nikoho, kto by sa bol ozval; hovoril som, a nepočuli, ale robili to, čo je zlé v mojich očiach, a vyvolili si to, čo sa mi neľúbi.

5 (UKJV) "Hear the word of the LORD, all of you that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name's sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed. "
5 (ROH) Počujte slovo Hospodinovo vy, ktorí sa trasiete pred jeho slovom: Vaši bratia hovoria, ktorí vás nenávidia a vypovedajú vás pre moje meno: Nech sa oslávi Hospodin, aby sme videli vašu radosť! Ale tí sa budú hanbiť.

6 (UKJV) A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that renders recompence to his enemies.
6 (ROH) Čujte! Zvuk hrmotu počuť z mesta, hlas z chrámu, hlas Hospodinov, ktorý dáva odplatu svojim nepriateľom.

7 (UKJV) "Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a male child. "
7 (ROH) Prv ako pracovala ku pôrodu, porodila dcéra Jeruzalema; prv ako jej prišla bolesť, porodila chlapča.

8 (UKJV) Who has heard such a thing? who has seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.
8 (ROH) Kto kedy slýchal také voľačo? Kto videl niečo podobné? Či sa azda zrodí zem za jeden deň? Či sa narodí národ na jeden raz? Keď hľa, Sion ešte len začal pracovať ku porodu, a už aj porodil svojich synov!

9 (UKJV) Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? says the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? says your God.
9 (ROH) Či by som azda ja, keď otvorím život matky, nedal porodiť? hovorí Hospodin. Alebo či by som ja, ktorý dávam rodiť, mal zavrieť život? hovorí tvoj Bôh.

10 (UKJV) Rejoice all of you with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all you that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all you that mourn for her:
10 (ROH) Radujte sa s Jeruzalemom a plesajte v ňom všetci, ktorí ho milujete! Veseľte sa s ním veľmi všetci, ktorí ste smútili nad ním!

11 (UKJV) "That all of you may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that all of you may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory. "
11 (ROH) Aby ste ssali a nasýtili sa z pŕs jeho potešení, aby ste sa nadájali a mali rozkoš z jeho veľkej slávy.

12 (UKJV) For thus says the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall all of you suck, all of you shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees.
12 (ROH) Lebo takto hovorí Hospodin: Hľa, obrátim naň pokoj ako rieku a jako rozvodnený potok slávu národov. A tak budete ssať, a budete nosení pri boku na rukách a hladkaní na kolenách.

13 (UKJV) "As one whom his mother comforts, so will I comfort you; and all of you shall be comforted in Jerusalem. "
13 (ROH) Ako keď niekoho teší jeho matka, tak vás ja budem tešiť, a budete potešovaní v Jeruzaleme.

14 (UKJV) And when all of you see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the LORD shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies.
14 (ROH) A budete to vidieť, a vaše srdce sa bude radovať, a vaše kosti budú kvitnúť ako svieža bylina. A tak sa bude znať ruka Hospodinova pri jeho služobníkoch, a bude sa zúrivo hnevať na svojich nepriateľov.

15 (UKJV) For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
15 (ROH) Lebo hľa, Hospodin prijde v ohni a jeho vozy budú jako víchrica, aby odplatil v prchlivosti svojím hnevom a svojím žehraním v plameňoch ohňa.

16 (UKJV) For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.
16 (ROH) Lebo Hospodin sa bude súdiť v ohni a svojím mečom s každým telom, a bude mnoho tých, ktorých pobije Hospodin.

17 (UKJV) They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, says the LORD.
17 (ROH) Tí, ktorí sa posväcujú a očisťujú vchádzajúc do zahrád, jedna skupina za druhou, v prostredku, ktorí jedia sviňské mäso a ohavnú vec a myši, spolu zahynú, hovorí Hospodin.

18 (UKJV) "For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory. "
18 (ROH) Lebo ja vyhľadám ich skutky a ich myšlienky. Ide čas, aby som shromaždil všetky národy a jazyky, a prijdú a uvidia moju slávu.

19 (UKJV) "And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles far off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles. "
19 (ROH) A položím na nich znamenie a pošlem z nich, uniklých životom, k národom, do Taršíša Púla a Lúda, ktorí naťahujú lučište, do Túbala a Javána, na ďaleké ostrovy, k tým, ktorí nepočuli zvesti o mne a nevideli mojej slávy, a tak budú zvestovať moju slávu medzi národami.

20 (UKJV) And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the LORD out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, says the LORD, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD.
20 (ROH) A dopravia všetkých vašich bratov zo všetkých národov za obetný dar Hospodinovi na koňoch a vozoch, na nosidlách, na muliciach a na dromedároch na vrch mojej svätosti, do Jeruzalema, hovorí Hospodin, ako donášajú synovia Izraelovi obetný dar v čistej nádobe do domu Hospodinovho.

21 (UKJV) And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, says the LORD.
21 (ROH) A vezmem aj z nich za kňazov a levitov, hovorí Hospodin.

22 (UKJV) For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, says the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.
22 (ROH) Lebo jako tie nové nebesia a tá nová zem, ktoré ja učiním, budú stáť predo mnou, hovorí Hospodin, tak bude stáť vaše semeno a vaše meno.

23 (UKJV) And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, says the LORD.
23 (ROH) A stane sa, že od mesiaca do mesiaca a od soboty do soboty bude prichádzať každé telo, aby sa klaňalo predo mnou, hovorí Hospodin.

24 (UKJV) "And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcasses of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh. "
24 (ROH) A vyjdú a uvidia mŕtve telá ľudí, ktorí sa spreneverili proti mne, lebo ich červ nezomrie, a ich oheň nevyhasne, a budú ošklivosťou každému telu.

Verš 1

Thus says the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that all of you build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?

1Kr 8:27 - "But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain you; how much less this house that I have built? "

2Krn 6:18 - "But will God in very deed dwell with men on the earth? behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain you; how much less this house which I have built! "

Sk 7:48 - "Nevertheless the most High dwells not in temples made with hands; as says the prophet, "

Sk 17:24 - "God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwells not in temples made with hands; "

Verš 22

For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, says the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.

Iz 65:17 - For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

2Pt 3:13 - Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwells righteousness.

Zjv 21:1 - "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. "

"I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spoke, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not. "

Prís 1:24 - "Because I have called, and all of you refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; "

Jer 7:13 - "And now, because all of you have done all these works, says the LORD, and I spoke unto you, rising up early and speaking, but all of you heard not; and I called you, but all of you answered not; "

Iz 65:12 - "Therefore will I number you to the sword, and all of you shall all bow down to the slaughter: because when I called, all of you did not answer; when I spoke, all of you did not hear; but did evil before mine eyes, and did choose that wherein I delighted not. "

Verš 5

"Hear the word of the LORD, all of you that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name's sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed. "

Iz 5:19 - That say, Let him make speed, and hasten his work, that we may see it: and let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw nigh and come, that we may know it!

Verš 12

For thus says the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall all of you suck, all of you shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees.

Iz 49:22 - Thus says the Lord GOD, Behold, I will lift up mine hand to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people: and they shall bring your sons in their arms, and your daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders.

Iz 60:4 - Lift up your eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to you: your sons shall come from far, and your daughters shall be nursed at your side.

Iz 66,1 - Boh pripomína Izraelitom v zajatí, že stavba nového chrámu, po ktorej túžia, nestačí. Veď on má nádhernejší chrám, než bol chrám jeruzalemský.

Iz 66,3 - Ani bezduchými obetami neurobia zadosť svojim povinnostiam k Bohu. Jemu predsa nemôže byť milá obeta človeka, ktorý síce obetuje vola, ale pritom sa dopúšťa aj vraždy; Bohu obetuje ovcu, ale aj pohanským bôžikom obetuje psa, prináša Pánovi potravinovú obetu, ale súčasne obetuje modlám nečistú bravčovú krv, páli Pánovi tymian, a pritom obetuje aj modlám.

Iz 66,5 - Modlárski Izraeliti sa posmievali nádejam svojich veriacich bratov.

Iz 66,7 - Prorok oznamuje, čo videl vo videní: Sion porodil svoje obyvateľstvo. Proroctvo sa dokonale splnilo na Turíce, po zoslaní Ducha Svätého, keď sa na slová apoštola Petra razom zrodil celý národ, tritisíc duší vstúpilo do Cirkvi. Boh sa zaručuje, že sa tento pôrod uskutoční (porov. 37,3).

Iz 66,14 - Ezechiel (hl. 37) prirovnáva zajatý národ k vyschnutým kostiam. Tieto kosti však znovu "vypučia", ožijú.

Iz 66,17 - Prorok sa obracia zas proti modlárstvu. Osnova je nejasná. Hovorí sa asi o nejakom pohanskom obrade, konanom v záhradách, kde zasvätenci kráčali v sprievode za "kýmsi", asi za nejakým pohanským kňazom, ktorý stál azda uprostred záhrady alebo uprostred zasvätencov. Títo modlári sa očisťovali kvôli pohanským obradom, ale nedbali na čistotu, ktorú predpisoval zákon (porov. 65,4; 66,3; o myšiach Lv 11,29).

Iz 66,19 - Taršiš pozri 2,16. – Národ menom Púl nepoznáme. Pravdepodobne je tu reč o akomsi africkom národe, zvanom Pút, ktorý sa spolu s Lúdom spomína aj na iných miestach Biblie (Jer 46,9; Ez 27,10; 30,5). Lúd boli podľa niektorých maloázijskí Lýdovia, podľa iných to bol tiež nejaký africký kmeň. Tubal bol asi národ, ktorý Gréci volali národom Tibarénov. Bývali juhovýchodne od Čierneho mora. Javan sú Jóni a Gréci vôbec.

Iz 66,21 - Kňazstvo bude v novom Božom kráľovstve prístupné všetkým, ktorých si vyberie Boh.

Iz 66,22 - O novom nebi a novej zemi pozri pozn. k 65,17.

Iz 66,23 - V novej Božej ríši budú ľudia prichádzať do chrámu často, nielen tri razy do roka, ako to bolo v Starom zákone. Tu už je celkom zrejmé, že prorok nemyslí na palestínsky Sion a Jeruzalem, veď by bolo nemožné, aby ľudia z celého sveta putovali mesačne, ba týždenne do Palestíny.

Iz 66,24 - Hriešnikov, keďže sa ani v týchto časoch milosti neobrátia, zastihne hrozný osud; večné zatratenie. Je pozoruhodné, že prorok, ktorého kniha obsahuje toľko utešených proroctiev, končí svoje dielo týmto hrozným pohľadom do večného zatratenia. Ale kniha obsahuje dostatok myšlienok a prisľúbení, ktoré sú zárukou veriacim, že dostanú prisľúbenú odmenu a oslavu v živote večnom.
