Kniha proroka Izaiáša

1 (HEM) קומי אורי כי בא אורך וכבוד יהוה עליך זרח׃
1 (UKJV) "Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you. "

2 (HEM) כי הנה החשך יכסה ארץ וערפל לאמים ועליך יזרח יהוה וכבודו עליך יראה׃
2 (UKJV) For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon you, and his glory shall be seen upon you.

3 (HEM) והלכו גוים לאורך ומלכים לנגה זרחך׃
3 (UKJV) And the Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.

4 (HEM) שאי סביב עיניך וראי כלם נקבצו באו לך בניך מרחוק יבאו ובנתיך על צד תאמנה׃
4 (UKJV) Lift up your eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to you: your sons shall come from far, and your daughters shall be nursed at your side.

5 (HEM) אז תראי ונהרת ופחד ורחב לבבך כי יהפך עליך המון ים חיל גוים יבאו לך׃
5 (UKJV) "Then you shall see, and flow together, and your heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto you, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto you. "

6 (HEM) שפעת גמלים תכסך בכרי מדין ועיפה כלם משבא יבאו זהב ולבונה ישאו ותהלת יהוה יבשרו׃
6 (UKJV) "The multitude of camels shall cover you, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all they from Sheba shall come: they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall show forth the praises of the LORD. "

7 (HEM) כל צאן קדר יקבצו לך אילי נביות ישרתונך יעלו על רצון מזבחי ובית תפארתי אפאר׃
7 (UKJV) All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto you, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto you: they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory.

8 (HEM) מי אלה כעב תעופינה וכיונים אל ארבתיהם׃
8 (UKJV) Who are these that fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows?

9 (HEM) כי לי איים יקוו ואניות תרשיש בראשנה להביא בניך מרחוק כספם וזהבם אתם לשם יהוה אלהיך ולקדוש ישראל כי פארך׃
9 (UKJV) Surely the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring your sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the LORD your God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he has glorified you.

10 (HEM) ובנו בני נכר חמתיך ומלכיהם ישרתונך כי בקצפי הכיתיך וברצוני רחמתיך׃
10 (UKJV) And the sons of strangers shall build up your walls, and their kings shall minister unto you: for in my wrath I stroke you, but in my favour have I had mercy on you.

11 (HEM) ופתחו שעריך תמיד יומם ולילה לא יסגרו להביא אליך חיל גוים ומלכיהם נהוגים׃
11 (UKJV) "Therefore your gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto you the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought. "

12 (HEM) כי הגוי והממלכה אשר לא יעבדוך יאבדו והגוים חרב יחרבו׃
12 (UKJV) "For the nation and kingdom that will not serve you shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted. "

13 (HEM) כבוד הלבנון אליך יבוא ברוש תדהר ותאשור יחדו לפאר מקום מקדשי ומקום רגלי אכבד׃
13 (UKJV) "The glory of Lebanon shall come unto you, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorious. "

14 (HEM) והלכו אליך שחוח בני מעניך והשתחוו על כפות רגליך כל מנאציך וקראו לך עיר יהוה ציון קדוש ישראל׃
14 (UKJV) "The sons also of them that afflicted you shall come bending unto you; and all they that despised you shall bow themselves down at the soles of your feet; and they shall call you; The city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel. "

15 (HEM) תחת היותך עזובה ושנואה ואין עובר ושמתיך לגאון עולם משוש דור ודור׃
15 (UKJV) Whereas you has been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through you, I will make you an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations.

16 (HEM) וינקת חלב גוים ושד מלכים תינקי וידעת כי אני יהוה מושיעך וגאלך אביר יעקב׃
16 (UKJV) You shall also suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shall suck the breast of kings: and you shall know that I the LORD am your Saviour and your Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

17 (HEM) תחת הנחשת אביא זהב ותחת הברזל אביא כסף ותחת העצים נחשת ותחת האבנים ברזל ושמתי פקדתך שלום ונגשיך צדקה׃
17 (UKJV) For brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood brass, and for stones iron: I will also make your officers peace, and your exactors righteousness.

18 (HEM) לא ישמע עוד חמס בארצך שד ושבר בגבוליך וקראת ישועה חומתיך ושעריך תהלה׃
18 (UKJV) "Violence shall no more be heard in your land, wasting nor destruction within your borders; but you shall call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise. "

19 (HEM) לא יהיה לך עוד השמש לאור יומם ולנגה הירח לא יאיר לך והיה לך יהוה לאור עולם ואלהיך לתפארתך׃
19 (UKJV) "The sun shall be no more your light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto you: but the LORD shall be unto you an everlasting light, and your God your glory. "

20 (HEM) לא יבוא עוד שמשך וירחך לא יאסף כי יהוה יהיה לך לאור עולם ושלמו ימי אבלך׃
20 (UKJV) "Your sun shall no more go down; neither shall your moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall be your everlasting light, and the days of your mourning shall be ended. "

21 (HEM) ועמך כלם צדיקים לעולם יירשו ארץ נצר מטעו מעשה ידי להתפאר׃
21 (UKJV) Your people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.

22 (HEM) הקטן יהיה לאלף והצעיר לגוי עצום אני יהוה בעתה אחישנה׃
22 (UKJV) A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time.
