Kniha proroka Izaiáša

1 (HEM) הצדיק אבד ואין איש שם על לב ואנשי חסד נאספים באין מבין כי מפני הרעה נאסף הצדיק׃
1 (UKJV) The righteous perishes, and no man lays it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.

2 (HEM) יבוא שלום ינוחו על משכבותם הלך נכחו׃
2 (UKJV) He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.

3 (HEM) ואתם קרבו הנה בני עננה זרע מנאף ותזנה׃
3 (UKJV) But draw near here, all of you sons of the sorceress, the seed of the adulterer and the whore.

4 (HEM) על מי תתענגו על מי תרחיבו פה תאריכו לשון הלוא אתם ילדי פשע זרע שקר׃
4 (UKJV) Against whom do all of you sport yourselves? against whom make all of you a wide mouth, and draw out the tongue? are all of you not children of transgression, a seed of falsehood.

5 (HEM) הנחמים באלים תחת כל עץ רענן שחטי הילדים בנחלים תחת סעפי הסלעים׃
5 (UKJV) Enflaming yourselves with idols under every green tree, slaying the children in the valleys under the clefts of the rocks?

6 (HEM) בחלקי נחל חלקך הם הם גורלך גם להם שפכת נסך העלית מנחה העל אלה אנחם׃
6 (UKJV) "Among the smooth stones of the stream is your portion; they, they are your lot: even to them have you poured a drink offering, you have offered a food offering. Should I receive comfort in these? "

7 (HEM) על הר גבה ונשא שמת משכבך גם שם עלית לזבח זבח׃
7 (UKJV) Upon a lofty and high mountain have you set your bed: even thither went you up to offer sacrifice.

8 (HEM) ואחר הדלת והמזוזה שמת זכרונך כי מאתי גלית ותעלי הרחבת משכבך ותכרת לך מהם אהבת משכבם יד חזית׃
8 (UKJV) "Behind the doors also and the posts have you set up your remembrance: for you have discovered yourself to another than me, and are gone up; you have enlarged your bed, and made you a covenant with them; you loved their bed where you saw it. "

9 (HEM) ותשרי למלך בשמן ותרבי רקחיך ותשלחי צריך עד מרחק ותשפילי עד שאול׃
9 (UKJV) And you went to the king with ointment, and did increase your perfumes, and did send your messengers far off, and did debase yourself even unto hell.

10 (HEM) ברב דרכך יגעת לא אמרת נואש חית ידך מצאת על כן לא חלית׃
10 (UKJV) "You are wearied in the greatness of your way; yet said you not, There is no hope: you have found the life of your hand; therefore you were not grieved. "

11 (HEM) ואת מי דאגת ותיראי כי תכזבי ואותי לא זכרת לא שמת על לבך הלא אני מחשה ומעלם ואותי לא תיראי׃
11 (UKJV) And of whom have you been afraid or feared, that you have lied, and have not remembered me, nor laid it to your heart? have not I held my peace even of old, and you fear me not?

12 (HEM) אני אגיד צדקתך ואת מעשיך ולא יועילוך׃
12 (UKJV) "I will declare your righteousness, and your works; for they shall not profit you. "

13 (HEM) בזעקך יצילך קבוציך ואת כלם ישא רוח יקח הבל והחוסה בי ינחל ארץ ויירש הר קדשי׃
13 (UKJV) "When you cry, let your companies deliver you; but the wind shall carry them all away; vanity shall take them: but he that puts his trust in me shall possess the land, and shall inherit my holy mountain; "

14 (HEM) ואמר סלו סלו פנו דרך הרימו מכשול מדרך עמי׃
14 (UKJV) And shall say, Cast all of you up, cast all of you up, prepare the way, take up the stumbling block out of the way of my people.

15 (HEM) כי כה אמר רם ונשא שכן עד וקדוש שמו מרום וקדוש אשכון ואת דכא ושפל רוח להחיות רוח שפלים ולהחיות לב נדכאים׃
15 (UKJV) "For thus says the high and lofty One that inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. "

16 (HEM) כי לא לעולם אריב ולא לנצח אקצוף כי רוח מלפני יעטוף ונשמות אני עשיתי׃
16 (UKJV) For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always angry: for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls which I have made.

17 (HEM) בעון בצעו קצפתי ואכהו הסתר ואקצף וילך שובב בדרך לבו׃
17 (UKJV) For the iniquity of his covetousness was I angry, and stroke him: I hid me, and was angry, and he went on perversely in the way of his heart.

18 (HEM) דרכיו ראיתי וארפאהו ואנחהו ואשלם נחמים לו ולאבליו׃
18 (UKJV) I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners.

19 (HEM) בורא נוב שפתים שלום שלום לרחוק ולקרוב אמר יהוה ורפאתיו׃
19 (UKJV) "I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, says the LORD; and I will heal him. "

20 (HEM) והרשעים כים נגרש כי השקט לא יוכל ויגרשו מימיו רפש וטיט׃
20 (UKJV) But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.

21 (HEM) אין שלום אמר אלהי לרשעים׃
21 (UKJV) There is no peace, says my God, to the wicked.
