(UKJV - Anglický - Updated King James)

Iz 55, 1-13

1 (UKJV) "Ho, every one that thirsts, come all of you to the waters, and he that has no money; come all of you, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. "
1 (KAT) Oj, všetci smädní, poďte k vodám, a ktorí nemáte peňazí, poďte, kupujte a jedzte, poďte, kupujte bez peňazí, bezplatne víno a mlieko!

2 (UKJV) Wherefore do all of you spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfies not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat all of you that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.

3 (UKJV) "Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David. "
3 (KAT) Nakloňte si ucho a poďte ku mne, poslúchajte, aby vaša duša žila; a uzavriem s vami večnú zmluvu, neklamnú milosť Dávidovu.

4 (UKJV) Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.
4 (KAT) Hľa, urobím ho svedkom pre národy, kniežaťom a vládcom kmeňov!

5 (UKJV) "Behold, you shall call a nation that you know not, and nations that knew not you shall run unto you because of the LORD your God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he has glorified you. "
5 (KAT) Veď privoláš národ, ktorý nepoznáš, a národy, čo ťa nepoznajú, pribehnú k tebe kvôli Pánovi, tvojmu Bohu, Svätému Izraela, lebo ťa oslávil.

6 (UKJV) Seek all of you the LORD while he may be found, call all of you upon him while he is near:
6 (KAT) Hľadajte Pána, kým sa dá nájsť, volajte ho, kým je nablízku!

7 (UKJV) "Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. "
7 (KAT) Nech opustí bezbožný svoju cestu, hriešny človek svoje zmýšľanie a vráti sa k Pánovi, on sa nad ním zmiluje, k svojmu Bohu, veď mnoho odpúšťa!

8 (UKJV) For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says the LORD.
8 (KAT) Lebo moje myšlienky nie sú vaše myšlienky a vaše cesty nie sú moje cesty - hovorí Pán.

9 (UKJV) For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

10 (UKJV) For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and returns not thither, but waters the earth, and makes it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
10 (KAT) Lebo ako spŕchne z neba dážď a sneh a nevráti sa ta, ale opojí zem, zúrodní ju, dá jej klíčiť a dá semä na siatie a chlieb na jedlo:

11 (UKJV) So shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

12 (UKJV) For all of you shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
12 (KAT) Áno, s radosťou vyjdete, budete vyvedení v pokoji. Vrchy a kopce prepuknú v jasot pred vami a všetky poľné stromy budú tlieskať rukami.

13 (UKJV) Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.
