1 (UKJV) "Awake, awake; put on your strength, O Zion; put on your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into you the uncircumcised and the unclean. "
1 (ROH) Prebuď sa, prebuď, odej sa svojou silou, Sione! Obleč si svoje zdobné rúcho, Jeruzaleme, to sväté mesto, lebo už neprijde viacej na teba neobrezaný a nečistý!
2 (UKJV) "Shake yourself from the dust; arise, and sit down, O Jerusalem: loose yourself from the bands of your neck, O captive daughter of Zion. "
2 (ROH) Otras sa z prachu, povstaň, posaď sa, Jeruzaleme! Rozviaž si povrazy svojej šije a zahoď, zajatá dcéro Siona!
3 (UKJV) "For thus says the LORD, All of you have sold yourselves for nothing; and all of you shall be redeemed without money. "
3 (ROH) Lebo takto hovorí Hospodin: Zadarmo ste sa predali a tak ani nebudete vykúpení za peniaze.
4 (UKJV) "For thus says the Lord GOD, My people went down in old times into Egypt to sojourn there; and the Assyrian oppressed them without cause. "
4 (ROH) Lebo takto hovorí Pán Hospodin: Najprv sišiel môj ľud dolu do Egypta, aby tam pohostínil, a Assúr ho utiskuje bez príčiny.
5 (UKJV) "Now therefore, what have I here, says the LORD, that my people is taken away for nothing? they that rule over them make them to wail, says the LORD; and my name continually every day is blasphemed. "
5 (ROH) A tak teraz čože tu mám činiť, hovorí Hospodin, keď je môj ľud vzatý darmo, a tí, ktorí panujú nad ním, výskajú, hovorí Hospodin, a ustavične každého dňa sa rúhajú môjmu menu?
6 (UKJV) Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that does speak: behold, it is I.
6 (ROH) Preto pozná môj ľud moje meno, preto, toho dňa, že som to ja, ktorý hovorím: Hľa, tu som!
7 (UKJV) "How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that brings good tidings, that publishes peace; that brings good tidings of good, that publishes salvation; that says unto Zion, Your God reigns! "
7 (ROH) Aké krásne sú na vrchoch nohy toho, ktorý zvestuje radostné veci, ktorý hlása pokoj, ktorý zvestuje dobré, ktorý hlása spasenie, ktorý hovorí Sionu: Tvoj Bôh kraľuje!
8 (UKJV) "Your watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the LORD shall bring again Zion. "
8 (ROH) Počuj! Hlas tvojich strážnych! Pozdvihli svoj hlas, radostne prespevujú všetci spolu, lebo uvidia, zoka-voko, keď sa Hospodin navráti na Sion.
9 (UKJV) Break forth into joy, sing together, all of you waste places of Jerusalem: for the LORD has comforted his people, he has redeemed Jerusalem.
9 (ROH) Jasajte, radostne prespevujte spolu pustiny Jeruzalema, lebo Hospodin potešil svoj ľud, vykúpil Jeruzalem!
10 (UKJV) "The LORD has made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God. "
10 (ROH) Hospodin obnažil rameno svojej svätosti pred očami všetkých národov, a uvidia všetky končiny zeme spasenie nášho Boha!
11 (UKJV) "Depart all of you, depart all of you, go all of you out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go all of you out of the midst of her; be all of you clean, that bear the vessels of the LORD. "
11 (ROH) Preč, preč, vyjdite odtiaľ, nedotýkajte sa nečistého, vyjdite z jeho stredu, z Babylona, očistite sa vy, ktorí nosíte nádoby Hospodinove!
12 (UKJV) "For all of you shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight: for the LORD will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your rear guard. "
12 (ROH) Lebo nevyjdete v spechu ani nepojdete útekom, lebo Hospodin pojde pred vami, a za vami jako zadná stráž pojde Bôh Izraelov.
13 (UKJV) Behold, my servant shall deal prudently, he shall be exalted and extolled, and be very high.
13 (ROH) Hľa, môj služobník bude rozumne konať, bude vyvýšený a vznešený a bude veľmi vysoký.
14 (UKJV) "As many were astonished at you; his visage was so ruined more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men: "
14 (ROH) Jako sa mnohí zhrozia nad tebou. (Tak bude zohavený jeho vzhľad nad iných ľudí a jeho podoba nad synov človeka) -
15 (UKJV) "So shall he sprinkle many nations; the kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider. "
15 (ROH) tak zase skropí mnohé národy; pred ním kráľovia zavrú svoje ústa, pretože to, čo im nebolo rozprávané, uvidia, a tomu, čoho nepočuli, porozumejú.

Ez 36:20 - And when they entered unto the heathen, where they went, they profaned my holy name, when they said to them, These are the people of the LORD, and are gone forth out of his land.
Ez 36:23 - "And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which all of you have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, says the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes. "
Rim 2:24 - For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.

"How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that brings good tidings, that publishes peace; that brings good tidings of good, that publishes salvation; that says unto Zion, Your God reigns! "
Nah 1:15 - "Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that brings good tidings, that publishes peace! O Judah, keep your solemn feasts, perform your vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through you; he is utterly cut off. "
Rim 10:15 - And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

"The LORD has made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God. "
Ž 98:2 - The LORD has made known his salvation: his righteousness has he openly showed in the sight of the heathen.
Lk 3:6 - And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.
Verš 11
"Depart all of you, depart all of you, go all of you out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go all of you out of the midst of her; be all of you clean, that bear the vessels of the LORD. "
2Kor 6:17 - "Wherefore come out from among them, and be all of you separate, says the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. "
Zjv 18:4 - And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that all of you be not partakers of her sins, and that all of you receive not of her plagues.

"As many were astonished at you; his visage was so ruined more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men: "
Iz 53:3 - "He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. "
Verš 15
"So shall he sprinkle many nations; the kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider. "
Rim 15:21 - But as it is written, To whom he was not spoken of, they shall see: and they that have not heard shall understand.
Iz 52,2 - Starodávny východ dával zajatcom putá aj na hrdlo, ako to ukazujú obrazy z týchto čias.
Iz 52,3 - Porov. 50,1.
Iz 52,7 - Prorok veľmi živo opisuje návrat zajatcov na Sion. Vidí posla, ktorý oznamuje príchod pútnikov, a tak aj príchod novej doby, doby spásy a pokoja. Na múroch Jeruzalema zasa hliadky vítajú Pána, ktorý sa so svojím národom vracia na Sion.
Iz 52,10 - Kto sa dáva horlivo do roboty, vyhrnie si rukávy. S podobnou horlivosťou sa dal Pán do diela vyslobodenia.
Iz 52,11 - Dotyk niektorých vecí Izraelitov znečisťoval. Takto znečistení nesmeli sa dotýkať posvätných vecí. Preto tí, čo mali niesť do Jeruzalema posvätné chrámové nádoby, museli sa najprv očistiť rôznymi obradmi.
Iz 52,13-15 - Tieto verše sú už úvodom ku štvrtej a poslednej, no najkrajšej a najdôležitejšej piesni o Pánovom služobníkovi. V úvode predstavuje svojho služobníka sám Boh. Predošlé piesne mohli vzbudzovať dojem, že pôsobenie Pánovho služobníka bude bezúspešné, preto Boh predpovedá jeho úspechy a slávu.
