Kniha proroka Izaiáša

1 (UKJV) "The burden of Moab. Because in the night Ar of Moab is laid waste, and brought to silence; because in the night Kir of Moab is laid waste, and brought to silence; "
1 (ROH) Bremä Moábovo. Lebo v noci, v ktorej bude spustošené Ar Moábovo, bude umlčané; lebo vnoci bude spustošené Kír Moábovo a bude umlčané.

2 (UKJV) He is gone up to Bajith, and to Dibon, the high places, to weep: Moab shall wail over Nebo, and over Medeba: on all their heads shall be baldness, and every beard cut off.
2 (ROH) Pojdú hore do chrámu a Díbon na svoje výšiny, plakať; nad Nébom a nad Médebou bude kvíliť Moáb. Na každej jeho hlave bude plešina, a každá brada bude ostrihaná.

3 (UKJV) In their streets they shall gird themselves with sackcloth: on the tops of their houses, and in their streets, every one shall wail, weeping abundantly.
3 (ROH) Na jeho uliciach si opášu smútočné rúcho drsné, na jeho postrešiach a na jeho námestiach bude každý z nich kvíliť rozlievajúc sa v plači.

4 (UKJV) "And Heshbon shall cry, and Elealeh: their voice shall be heard even unto Jahaz: therefore the armed soldiers of Moab shall cry out; his life shall be grievous unto him. "
4 (ROH) A Chešbon bude kričať i Eleále; až po Jahac bude počuť ich hlas. Preto budú žalostne kričať ozbrojenci Moábovi; duša každého z nich bude sa chvieť pre neho

5 (UKJV) "My heart shall cry out for Moab; his fugitives shall flee unto Zoar, an heifer of three years old: for by the mounting up of Luhith with weeping shall they go it up; for in the way of Horonaim they shall raise up a cry of destruction. "
5 (ROH) a povie: Moje srdce kričí pre Moába. Oj, jeho závory! Až po Coár počuť krik ako ryk trojročnej jalovice! Lebo plačúc vystupujú hore luchitským svahom, lebo cestou do Choronaima pozdvihnú krik úplného skrúšenia,

6 (UKJV) For the waters of Nimrim shall be desolate: for the hay is withered away, the grass fails, there is no green thing.
6 (ROH) pretože vody Nimríma budú velikou púšťou, lebo tráva uschne, bylina vyhynie; nebude ničoho zeleného.

7 (UKJV) Therefore the abundance they have got, and that which they have laid up, shall they carry away to the brook of the willows.
7 (ROH) Preto prebytok, ktorého si nadovážili, a ich imanie, ktorého naskladali, odnesú k potoku Arabím.

8 (UKJV) "For the cry is gone round about the borders of Moab; the howling thereof unto Eglaim, and the howling thereof unto Beerelim. "
8 (ROH) Lebo krik obíde všade dookola kraje Moábove, až do Eglaima jeho kvílenie, až do Bér-élima zanesie sa jeho kvílenie.

9 (UKJV) For the waters of Dimon shall be full of blood: for I will bring more upon Dimon, lions upon him that escapes of Moab, and upon the remnant of the land.
9 (ROH) Lebo vody Dímona budú plné krvi, pretože na Dímon položím ešte aj prídavky: na tých z Moába, ktorí uniknú, pošlem ľva jako aj na ostatok zeme.
