1 (UKJV) The words of king Lemuel, the prophecy that his mother taught him.

2 (UKJV) What, my son? and what, the son of my womb? and what, the son of my vows?
2 (ROH) Čo, môj synu, a čo synu môjho lona, a čo, synu mojich sľubov?

3 (UKJV) Give not your strength unto women, nor your ways to that which destroys kings.
3 (ROH) Nedaj svojej sily ženám ani svojich ciest tým, ktoré privodia kráľov na zkazu.

4 (UKJV) "It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes strong drink: "
4 (ROH) Nepatrí kráľom, Lemuelu, nepatrí kráľom piť víno ani pýtať sa: Kde je opojný nápoj? kniežatám.

5 (UKJV) Lest they drink, and forget the law, and pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted.
5 (ROH) Aby sa nenapil a nezabudol na to, čo je ustanovené, a nezmenil práva niktorého zo synov utrápených.

6 (UKJV) Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts.
6 (ROH) Dajte opojný nápoj hynúcemu a víno tým, ktorí majú horkosť v duši.

7 (UKJV) Let him drink, and forget his poverty, and remember his misery no more.
7 (ROH) Nech sa napije a zabudne na svoju chudobu a nespomenie viacej na svoje trápenie.

8 (UKJV) Open your mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction.
8 (ROH) Otvor svoje ústa za nemého, k pravote všetkých synov, ktorí idú na mizinu.

9 (UKJV) Open your mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.
9 (ROH) Otvor svoje ústa a súď spravedlivo a rozrieš pravotu chudobného a biedneho.

10 (UKJV) Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
10 (ROH) Kto najde statočnú ženu chrabrú? Lebo jej cena je ďaleko nad perly.

11 (UKJV) The heart of her husband does safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
11 (ROH) Srdce jej muža jej dôveruje, a koristi nie je tam nedostatku.

12 (UKJV) She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
12 (ROH) Robí mu dobré a nie zlé po všetky dni svojho života.

13 (UKJV) She seeks wool, and flax, and works willingly with her hands.
13 (ROH) Hľadá vlnu a ľan a pracuje so záľubou svojimi rukami.

14 (UKJV) "She is like the merchants' ships; she brings her food from far. "
14 (ROH) Je ako kupecká loď, z ďaleka dováža svoj chlieb.

15 (UKJV) She rises also while it is yet night, and gives food to her household, and a portion to her maidens.
15 (ROH) Vstáva ešte za noci a dáva pokrm svojej čeľadi a to, čo patrí, svojim dievkam.

16 (UKJV) She considers a field, and buys it: with the fruit of her hands she plants a vineyard.
16 (ROH) Pomýšľa na pole a berie ho a z plodov svojich rúk sadí vinicu.

17 (UKJV) She girds her loins with strength, and strengthens her arms.
17 (ROH) Prepasuje silou svoje bedrá a posilňuje svoje ramená.

18 (UKJV) She perceives that her merchandise is good: her candle goes not out by night.
18 (ROH) Zakúša, že je dobrý jej zárobok, ani vnoci nehasne jej svieca.

19 (UKJV) She lays her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.
19 (ROH) Svojimi rukami sahá po praslici a svojimi prsty drží vreteno.

20 (UKJV) "She stretches out her hand to the poor; yea, she reachs forth her hands to the needy. "
20 (ROH) Svoju ruku otvára chudobnému a svoje ruky vystiera k biednemu.

21 (UKJV) She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.

22 (UKJV) "She makes herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple. "

23 (UKJV) Her husband is known in the gates, when he sits among the elders of the land.
23 (ROH) Jej muž je známy v bránach, keď sedáva so starcami zeme.

24 (UKJV) "She makes fine linen, and sells it; and delivers girdles unto the merchant. "

28 (UKJV) "Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her. "
28 (ROH) Jej synovia povstávajú a blahoslavia ju, i jej muž a chváli ju:

29 (UKJV) Many daughters have done virtuously, but you excel them all.
29 (ROH) Mnohé vraj dcéry si zmužile počínaly; ale ty si ich prevýšila všetky.

30 (UKJV) Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that fears the LORD, she shall be praised.
30 (ROH) Ľúbeznosť je klam a krása márnosť; žena, ktorá sa bojí Hospodina, tá bude chválená.

31 (UKJV) "Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates. "
31 (ROH) Dajte jej z ovocia jej rúk, a nech ju chvália v bránach jej skutky.
