12 (HEM) ערום ראה רעה נסתר פתאים עברו נענשו׃

13 (HEM) קח בגדו כי ערב זר ובעד נכריה חבלהו׃

14 (HEM) מברך רעהו בקול גדול בבקר השכים קללה תחשב לו׃
14 (UKJV) He that blesses his friend with a loud voice, rising early in the morning, it shall be counted a curse to him.

15 (HEM) דלף טורד ביום סגריר ואשת מדונים נשתוה׃
15 (UKJV) A continual dropping in a very rainy day and a contentious woman are alike.

16 (HEM) צפניה צפן רוח ושמן ימינו יקרא׃
16 (UKJV) Whosoever hides her hides the wind, and the ointment of his right hand, which betrayed itself.

17 (HEM) ברזל בברזל יחד ואיש יחד פני רעהו׃
17 (UKJV) "Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend. "

18 (HEM) נצר תאנה יאכל פריה ושמר אדניו יכבד׃
18 (UKJV) Whoso keeps the fig tree shall eat the fruit thereof: so he that waits on his master shall be honoured.

19 (HEM) כמים הפנים לפנים כן לב האדם לאדם׃
19 (UKJV) As in water face answers to face, so the heart of man to man.

20 (HEM) שאול ואבדה לא תשבענה ועיני האדם לא תשבענה׃
20 (UKJV) "Hell and destruction are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied. "

21 (HEM) מצרף לכסף וכור לזהב ואיש לפי מהללו׃
21 (UKJV) "As the fining pot for silver, and the furnace for gold; so is a man to his praise. "

22 (HEM) אם תכתוש את האויל במכתש בתוך הריפות בעלי לא תסור מעליו אולתו׃
22 (UKJV) Though you should bray a fool in a mortar among wheat with a pestle, yet will not his foolishness depart from him.

23 (HEM) ידע תדע פני צאנך שית לבך לעדרים׃
23 (UKJV) Be you diligent to know the state of your flocks, and look well to your herds.

24 (HEM) כי לא לעולם חסן ואם נזר לדור דור׃
24 (UKJV) For riches are not for ever: and does the crown endure to every generation?

25 (HEM) גלה חציר ונראה דשא ונאספו עשבות הרים׃
25 (UKJV) The hay appears, and the tender grass shows itself, and herbs of the mountains are gathered.

26 (HEM) כבשים ללבושך ומחיר שדה עתודים׃
26 (UKJV) The lambs are for your clothing, and the goats are the price of the field.

27 (HEM) ודי חלב עזים ללחמך ללחם ביתך וחיים לנערותיך׃
27 (UKJV) And you shall have goats' milk enough for your food, for the food of your household, and for the maintenance for your maidens.
