(KJV - Anglický - King James)

Ex 4, 1-31

1 (KJV) And Moses answered and said, But, behold, they will not believe me, nor hearken unto my voice: for they will say, The LORD hath not appeared unto thee.
1 (ROH) A Mojžiš odpovedal a riekol: Ale hľa, neuveria mi, a neposlúchnu môjho hlasu, pretože povedia: Neukázal sa ti Hospodin.

2 (KJV) And the LORD said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod.
2 (ROH) A Hospodin mu riekol: Čo je to v tvojej ruke? A on odpovedal: Palica.

3 (KJV) And he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it.
A Mojžiš utekal pred ním.

4 (KJV) And the LORD said unto Moses, Put forth thine hand, and take it by the tail. And he put forth his hand, and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand:
4 (ROH) Ale Hospodin riekol Mojžišovi: Vystri svoju ruku a chyť ho za chvost. A vystrel svoju ruku a lapil ho.

5 (KJV) That they may believe that the LORD God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath appeared unto thee.
5 (ROH) Aby vraj vraveli, že sa ti ukázal Hospodin, Bôh ich otcov, Bôh Abrahámov, Bôh Izákov a Bôh Jakobov.

6 (KJV) And the LORD said furthermore unto him, Put now thine hand into thy bosom. And he put his hand into his bosom: and when he took it out, behold, his hand was leprous as snow.

7 (KJV) And he said, Put thine hand into thy bosom again. And he put his hand into his bosom again; and plucked it out of his bosom, and, behold, it was turned again as his other flesh.
7 (ROH) A riekol: Daj zase svoju ruku do svojich ňáder! A zase dal svoju ruku do svojich ňáder.

8 (KJV) And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe thee, neither hearken to the voice of the first sign, that they will believe the voice of the latter sign.
8 (ROH) A bude, ak by ti neuverili a neposlúchli na hlas prvého znamenia, uveria na hlas druhého znamenia.

9 (KJV) And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe also these two signs, neither hearken unto thy voice, that thou shalt take of the water of the river, and pour it upon the dry land: and the water which thou takest out of the river shall become blood upon the dry land.

10 (KJV) And Moses said unto the LORD, O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue.
10 (ROH) A Mojžiš povedal Hospodinovi: Pozri, prosím, Pane! Ja nie som výmluvný človek ani pred týmto ani odvtedy, odkedy hovoríš so svojím služobníkom, lebo ja som ťažkých úst a ťažkého jazyka.

11 (KJV) And the LORD said unto him, Who hath made man's mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the LORD?

12 (KJV) Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say.
12 (ROH) A tak teraz iď, a ja budem s tvojimi ústami a vyučím ťa, čo máš hovoriť.

13 (KJV) And he said, O my Lord, send, I pray thee, by the hand of him whom thou wilt send.
13 (ROH) A Mojžiš povedal: Pozri, prosím, Pane; pošli, prosím, toho, koho máš poslať.

14 (KJV) And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Moses, and he said, Is not Aaron the Levite thy brother? I know that he can speak well. And also, behold, he cometh forth to meet thee: and when he seeth thee, he will be glad in his heart.

15 (KJV) And thou shalt speak unto him, and put words in his mouth: and I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what ye shall do.
15 (ROH) Budeš jemu hovoriť a vložíš slová do jeho úst, a ja budem s tvojimi ústami a s jeho ústami a naučím vás, čo máte robiť.

16 (KJV) And he shall be thy spokesman unto the people: and he shall be, even he shall be to thee instead of a mouth, and thou shalt be to him instead of God.
16 (ROH) A on bude za teba hovoriť ľudu, a bude tak, že on ti bude ústami a ty mu budeš Bohom.

17 (KJV) And thou shalt take this rod in thine hand, wherewith thou shalt do signs.
17 (ROH) A túto palicu si vezmeš do svojej ruky, ktorou budeš činiť tie znamenia.

18 (KJV) And Moses went and returned to Jethro his father in law, and said unto him, Let me go, I pray thee, and return unto my brethren which are in Egypt, and see whether they be yet alive. And Jethro said to Moses, Go in peace.
A Jetro povedal Mojžišovi: Iď v pokoji.

19 (KJV) And the LORD said unto Moses in Midian, Go, return into Egypt: for all the men are dead which sought thy life.
19 (ROH) A Hospodin riekol Mojžišovi v Madiansku: Idi, navráť sa do Egypta, lebo už pomreli všetci tí mužovia, ktorí hľadali tvoju dušu.

20 (KJV) And Moses took his wife and his sons, and set them upon an ass, and he returned to the land of Egypt: and Moses took the rod of God in his hand.
20 (ROH) A Mojžiš vzal svoju ženu i svojich synov, posadil ich na osla a vrátil sa do Egyptskej zeme. A Mojžiš vzal palicu Božiu do svojej ruky.

21 (KJV) And the LORD said unto Moses, When thou goest to return into Egypt, see that thou do all those wonders before Pharaoh, which I have put in thine hand: but I will harden his heart, that he shall not let the people go.
21 (ROH) Potom riekol Hospodin Mojžišovi: Keď ideš, aby si sa vrátil do Egypta, hľaď, aby si všetky tie zázraky, ktoré som položil do tvojej ruky, učinil pred faraonom, a ja zatvrdím jeho srdce, a neprepustí ľudu.

22 (KJV) And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD, Israel is my son, even my firstborn:
22 (ROH) A povieš faraonovi: Takto hovorí Hospodin: Môj syn, môj prvorodený, je Izrael.

23 (KJV) And I say unto thee, Let my son go, that he may serve me: and if thou refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay thy son, even thy firstborn.
23 (ROH) Povedal som ti: Prepusti môjho syna, aby mi slúžil. Ale si odoprel a nechcel si ho prepustiť. Preto hľa, zabijem tvojho syna, tvojho prvorodeného.

24 (KJV) And it came to pass by the way in the inn, that the LORD met him, and sought to kill him.

25 (KJV) Then Zipporah took a sharp stone, and cut off the foreskin of her son, and cast it at his feet, and said, Surely a bloody husband art thou to me.
25 (ROH) Vtedy vzala Cippora nôž, obrezala neobriezku svojho syna a vrhla ju k jeho nohám a riekla: Je isté, že si mi ženíchom krvi!

26 (KJV) So he let him go: then she said, A bloody husband thou art, because of the circumcision.
26 (ROH) A upustil od neho. Vtedy riekla: Ženích krvi, pre obriezky.

27 (KJV) And the LORD said to Aaron, Go into the wilderness to meet Moses. And he went, and met him in the mount of God, and kissed him.

28 (KJV) And Moses told Aaron all the words of the LORD who had sent him, and all the signs which he had commanded him.

29 (KJV) And Moses and Aaron went and gathered together all the elders of the children of Israel:
29 (ROH) A tak išiel Mojžiš a Áron, a shromaždili všetkých starších zo synov Izraelových.

30 (KJV) And Aaron spake all the words which the LORD had spoken unto Moses, and did the signs in the sight of the people.
30 (ROH) A Áron hovoril všetky slová, ktoré hovoril Hospodin Mojžišovi, a činil znamenia pred očami ľudu.

31 (KJV) And the people believed: and when they heard that the LORD had visited the children of Israel, and that he had looked upon their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshipped.
31 (ROH) A ľud uveril.

Ex 4, 1-31

Verš 9
And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe also these two signs, neither hearken unto thy voice, that thou shalt take of the water of the river, and pour it upon the dry land: and the water which thou takest out of the river shall become blood upon the dry land.
Ex 7:19 - And the LORD spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and stretch out thine hand upon the waters of Egypt, upon their streams, upon their rivers, and upon their ponds, and upon all their pools of water, that they may become blood; and that there may be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood, and in vessels of stone.

Verš 12
Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say.
Mt 10:19 - But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.
Mk 13:11 - But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.
Lk 12:12 - For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.

Verš 15
And thou shalt speak unto him, and put words in his mouth: and I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what ye shall do.
Ex 7:2 - Thou shalt speak all that I command thee: and Aaron thy brother shall speak unto Pharaoh, that he send the children of Israel out of his land.

Ex 4,18 - Mojžiš neuvádza dôvod svojho odchodu do Egypta.
