1 (HEM) ואל משה אמר עלה אל יהוה אתה ואהרן נדב ואביהוא ושבעים מזקני ישראל והשתחויתם מרחק׃
1 (KAT) Potom povedal Mojžišovi: „Vystúp k Pánovi ty, Áron, Nadab, Abiu a sedemdesiati zo starších Izraela a budete sa klaňať z diaľky!
1 (UKJV) "And he said unto Moses, Come up unto the LORD, you, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel; and worship all of you far off. "

2 (HEM) ונגש משה לבדו אל יהוה והם לא יגשו והעם לא יעלו עמו׃
2 (KAT) Len sám Mojžiš sa priblíži k Pánovi, oni sa nepriblížia, ani ľud nevystúpi s ním!“
2 (UKJV) "And Moses alone shall come near the LORD: but they shall not come nigh; neither shall the people go up with him. "

3 (HEM) ויבא משה ויספר לעם את כל דברי יהוה ואת כל המשפטים ויען כל העם קול אחד ויאמרו כל הדברים אשר דבר יהוה נעשה׃
3 (KAT) Potom Mojžiš prišiel a rozpovedal ľudu všetky Pánove slová, totiž všetky ustanovenia, a všetok ľud jednohlasne odpovedal: „Všetko, čo hovoril Pán, splníme!“
3 (UKJV) And Moses came and told the people all the words of the LORD, and all the judgments: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the LORD has said will we do.

4 (HEM) ויכתב משה את כל דברי יהוה וישכם בבקר ויבן מזבח תחת ההר ושתים עשרה מצבה לשנים עשר שבטי ישראל׃
4 (KAT) Potom Mojžiš všetky Pánove slová napísal. Keď ráno vstal, postavil pred vrchom oltár a dvanásť pamätníkov podľa dvanástich kmeňov Izraela.
4 (UKJV) And Moses wrote all the words of the LORD, and rose up early in the morning, and built an altar under the hill, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel.

5 (HEM) וישלח את נערי בני ישראל ויעלו עלת ויזבחו זבחים שלמים ליהוה פרים׃
5 (KAT) Nato dal izraelským mládencom rozkaz, aby pripravili pre Pána zápalnú obetu a na pokojnú obetu zabili býčky.
5 (UKJV) And he sent young men of the children of Israel, which offered burnt offerings, and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen unto the LORD.

6 (HEM) ויקח משה חצי הדם וישם באגנת וחצי הדם זרק על המזבח׃
6 (KAT) Tu vzal Mojžiš polovicu krvi, a nalial ju do obetnej misky a druhú polovicu krvi vylial na oltár.
6 (UKJV) "And Moses took half of the blood, and put it in basons; and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar. "

7 (HEM) ויקח ספר הברית ויקרא באזני העם ויאמרו כל אשר דבר יהוה נעשה ונשמע׃
7 (KAT) A Mojžiš vzal knihu zmluvy a čítal ju nahlas ľudu, pričom oni vraveli: „Všetko, čo hovoril Pán, splníme a zachováme!“
7 (UKJV) And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD has said will we do, and be obedient.

8 (HEM) ויקח משה את הדם ויזרק על העם ויאמר הנה דם הברית אשר כרת יהוה עמכם על כל הדברים האלה׃
8 (KAT) Tu Mojžiš vzal krv, pokropil ňou ľud a povedal: „Hľa, toto je krv zmluvy, ktorú Pán uzavrel s vami na základe všetkých týchto slov!“
8 (UKJV) And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD has made with you concerning all these words.

9 (HEM) ויעל משה ואהרן נדב ואביהוא ושבעים מזקני ישראל׃
9 (KAT) Potom Mojžiš, Áron, Nadab, Abiu a sedemdesiat starších z Izraela vystúpili hore
9 (UKJV) Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel:

10 (HEM) ויראו את אלהי ישראל ותחת רגליו כמעשה לבנת הספיר וכעצם השמים לטהר׃
10 (KAT) a tu videli Izraelovho Boha. Pod jeho nohami bolo čosi ako plocha zo zafírových dlaždíc a lesklo sa to ako samo nebo.
10 (UKJV) And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness.

11 (HEM) ואל אצילי בני ישראל לא שלח ידו ויחזו את האלהים ויאכלו וישתו׃
11 (KAT) A on nevystrel ruku proti vyvoleným Izraelitom. Mohli hľadieť na Boha. Potom jedli a pili (z obetovaného).
11 (UKJV) And upon the nobles of the children of Israel he laid not his hand: also they saw God, and did eat and drink.

12 (HEM) ויאמר יהוה אל משה עלה אלי ההרה והיה שם ואתנה לך את לחת האבן והתורה והמצוה אשר כתבתי להורתם׃
12 (KAT) A Pán povedal Mojžišovi: „Vystúp ku mne na vrch a zostaneš tam! Dám ti dve kamenné tabule: zákon a prikázania, ktoré som napísal, aby si ich učil!“
12 (UKJV) "And the LORD said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give you tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that you may teach them. "

13 (HEM) ויקם משה ויהושע משרתו ויעל משה אל הר האלהים׃
13 (KAT) Mojžiš a jeho služobník Jozue vstali a Mojžiš vystúpil na Boží vrch.
13 (UKJV) And Moses rose up, and his minister Joshua: and Moses went up into the mount of God.

14 (HEM) ואל הזקנים אמר שבו לנו בזה עד אשר נשוב אליכם והנה אהרן וחור עמכם מי בעל דברים יגש אלהם׃
14 (KAT) Starším však prikázal: „Čakajte na nás tu, kým sa k vám nevrátime! Veď Áron a Hur sú tu s vami! Kto bude mať nejaký spor, nech sa obráti na nich!“
14 (UKJV) And he said unto the elders, Tarry all of you here for us, until we come again unto you: and, behold, Aaron and Hur are with you: if any man have any matters to do, let him come unto them.

15 (HEM) ויעל משה אל ההר ויכס הענן את ההר׃
15 (KAT) Keď potom Mojžiš vystúpil na vrch, vrch zahalil oblak.
15 (UKJV) And Moses went up into the mount, and a cloud covered the mount.

16 (HEM) וישכן כבוד יהוה על הר סיני ויכסהו הענן ששת ימים ויקרא אל משה ביום השביעי מתוך הענן׃
16 (KAT) Tu zostúpila na vrch Pánova sláva a oblak ho zahaľoval šesť dní. V siedmy deň zavolal z oblaku Mojžiša.
16 (UKJV) And the glory of the LORD abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud.

17 (HEM) ומראה כבוד יהוה כאש אכלת בראש ההר לעיני בני ישראל׃
17 (KAT) V očiach Izraelitov sa Pánova sláva na končiari vrchu javila ako žeravý oheň.
17 (UKJV) And the sight of the glory of the LORD was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel.

18 (HEM) ויבא משה בתוך הענן ויעל אל ההר ויהי משה בהר ארבעים יום וארבעים לילה׃
18 (KAT) Mojžiš vošiel do oblaku a Mojžiš zostal na vrchu štyridsať dní a štyridsať nocí.
18 (UKJV) And Moses went into the midst of the cloud, and got him up into the mount: and Moses was in the mount forty days and forty nights.
