Ex 24, 1-18

1 (CPDV) He also said to Moses: “Ascend to the Lord, you and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy elders out of Israel, and adore from a distance.
1 (ROH) A Mojžišovi riekol: Vyjdi hore k Hospodinovi ty a Áron, Nádab a Abíhu a sedemdesiati zo starších Izraelových, a budete sa klaňať zďaleka.

2 (CPDV) And only Moses will ascend to the Lord, and these shall not approach. Neither shall the people ascend with him.”

3 (CPDV) Therefore, Moses went and explained to the people all the words of the Lord, as well as the judgments. And all the people responded with one voice: “We will do all the words of the Lord, which he has spoken.”
3 (ROH) Potom prišiel Mojžiš a rozpovedal ľudu všetky slová Hospodinove i všetky súdy. A všetok ľud odpovedal jedným hlasom, a riekli: Všetky slová, ktoré hovoril Hospodin, budeme robiť.

4 (CPDV) Then Moses wrote all the words of the Lord. And rising up in the morning, he built an altar at the base of the mountain, with twelve titles according to the twelve tribes of Israel.
4 (ROH) A Mojžiš napísal všetky slová Hospodinove a vstanúc skoro ráno vystavil oltár pod vrchom a postavil dvanásť pamätných stĺpov podľa počtu dvanástich pokolení Izraelových.

5 (CPDV) And he sent youths from the sons of Israel, and they offered holocausts, and they immolated calves as peace-offerings to the Lord.
5 (ROH) A poslal mládencov zo synov Izraelových, a obetovali zápaly a obetovali Hospodinovi bitné obeti pokojné, juncov.

6 (CPDV) And so Moses took one half part of the blood, and he put it into bowls. Then the remaining part he poured over the altar.
6 (ROH) A Mojžiš vzal polovicu krvi a vlial do medeníc a druhú polovicu krvi vylial na oltár.

7 (CPDV) And taking up the book of the covenant, he read it in the hearing of the people, who said: “All that the Lord has spoken, we will do, and we will be obedient.”
7 (ROH) Potom vzal knihu smluvy a čítal pred ľudom. A riekli: Všetko, čo hovoril Hospodin, budeme robiť a poslúchať.

8 (CPDV) In truth, taking up the blood, he sprinkled it on the people, and he said, “This is the blood of the covenant, which the Lord has formed with you concerning all these words.”
8 (ROH) Vtedy vzal Mojžiš krv a pokropil ľud a riekol: Hľa, toto je krv smluvy, ktorú učinil s vami Hospodin nad všetkými týmito slovami.

9 (CPDV) And Moses and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel ascended.
9 (ROH) Potom vyšiel hore Mojžiš a Áron, Nádab a Abíhu a sedemdesiati zo starších Izraelových.

10 (CPDV) And they saw the God of Israel. And under his feet was something like a work of sapphire stone, or like the sky, when it is serene.

11 (CPDV) Neither did he lay his hand upon those of the sons of Israel who were at a distance. And they saw God, and they ate and drank.
11 (ROH) A na kniežatá synov Izraelových nevystrel svojej ruky, hoci videli Boha, a jedli a pili.

12 (CPDV) Then the Lord said to Moses: “Ascend to me on the mountain, and be there. And I will give to you tablets of stone, and the law and the commandments that I have written. So may you teach them.”
12 (ROH) A Hospodin riekol Mojžišovi: Vyjdi ku mne hore na vrch a buď tam, a dám ti kamenné dosky a zákon a prikázanie, ktoré som napísal, učiť ich.

13 (CPDV) Moses rose up, with Joshua his minister. And Moses, ascending on the mountain of God,
13 (ROH) Vtedy vstal Mojžiš a Jozua, jeho služobník, a Mojžiš vyšiel na vrch Boží.

14 (CPDV) said to the elders: “Wait here, until we return to you. You have Aaron and Hur with you. If any question arises, you shall refer it to them.”
14 (ROH) A starším povedal: Zostaňte nám tu, dokiaľ sa nevrátime k vám. A hľa, Áron a Húr budú s vami. Kto má nejakú spornú vec, nech ide k nim.

15 (CPDV) And when Moses had ascended, a cloud covered the mountain.
15 (ROH) Potom vyšiel Mojžiš na vrch, a oblak prikryl vrch.

16 (CPDV) And the glory of the Lord dwelt upon Sinai, covering it with a cloud for six days. And on the seventh day, he called to him from the middle of the mist.
16 (ROH) A sláva Hospodinova prebývala na vrchu Sinai, a oblak ho pokrýval šesť dní, a siedmeho dňa zavolal na Mojžiša zprostred oblaku.

17 (CPDV) Now the appearance of the glory of the Lord was like a burning fire over the summit of the mountain in the sight of the sons of Israel.

18 (CPDV) And Moses, entering into the midst of the cloud, ascended the mountain. And he was there for forty days and forty nights.

Ex 24, 1-18

Verš 8
In truth, taking up the blood, he sprinkled it on the people, and he said, “This is the blood of the covenant, which the Lord has formed with you concerning all these words.”
Heb 9:20 - saying: “This is the blood of the testament which God has commanded for you.”
1Pt 1:2 - in accord with the foreknowledge of God the Father, in the sanctification of the Spirit, with the obedience and the sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: May grace and peace be multiplied for you.

Verš 17
Now the appearance of the glory of the Lord was like a burning fire over the summit of the mountain in the sight of the sons of Israel.
Heb 12:29 - For our God is a consuming fire.

Verš 3
Therefore, Moses went and explained to the people all the words of the Lord, as well as the judgments. And all the people responded with one voice: “We will do all the words of the Lord, which he has spoken.”
Ex 19:8 - And all the people responded together: “Everything that the Lord has spoken, we shall do.” And when Moses had related the words of the people to the Lord,
Ex 24:7 - And taking up the book of the covenant, he read it in the hearing of the people, who said: “All that the Lord has spoken, we will do, and we will be obedient.”
Dt 5:27 - Instead, you should approach and listen to all the things that the Lord our God will say to you. And you will speak to us, and we will listen and do these things.’
