1 (KJV) Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.
1 (KAT) Nebudeš šíriť nepravdivú povesť! Nepodáš svoju ruku tomu, kto je v nepráve, aby si krivo nesvedčil!
1 (ROH) Neprijmeš falošnej zvesti! Nepoložíš svojej ruky k spoločnej veci s bezbožným, aby si bol svedkom ukrutnosti.
2 (KJV) Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment:
2 (KAT) Nespojíš sa na zlú vec s väčšinou a pri spore nebudeš vypovedať podľa väčšiny, aby si neprekrúcal pravdu!
2 (ROH) Nebudeš nasledovať mnohých, pretože ich je mnoho, robiť zlé, ani nebudeš vypovedať pri súde tak, aby si sa naklonil za väčšinou zohnúť pravdu.
3 (KJV) Neither shalt thou countenance a poor man in his cause.
3 (KAT) Ani chudobnému nebudeš nadŕžať pri súde!
3 (ROH) Ani nebudeš opekňovať chudobného v jeho pravote.
4 (KJV) If thou meet thine enemy's ox or his ass going astray, thou shalt surely bring it back to him again.
4 (KAT) Ak natrafíš na býka alebo osla, čo sa zatúlal tvojmu nepriateľovi, priveď mu ho späť!
4 (ROH) Keby si nadišiel na vola svojho nepriateľa alebo na jeho osla, ktorý zablúdil, vrátiš ho a dovedieš mu ho zpät.
5 (KJV) If thou see the ass of him that hateth thee lying under his burden, and wouldest forbear to help him, thou shalt surely help with him.
5 (KAT) Ak zbadáš, že osol tvojho odporcu padol pod svojím bremenom, neobídeš ho, ale pomôžeš mu ho zdvihnúť!
5 (ROH) Keby si videl osla toho, kto ťa nenávidí, že leží pod svojím bremenom, či by si sa zdržal, aby si mu nepomohol? Istotne mu pomôžeš s ním.
6 (KJV) Thou shalt not wrest the judgment of thy poor in his cause.
6 (KAT) Nebudeš prekrúcať právo chudobného v jeho spornej veci!
6 (ROH) Nezohneš súdu svojho chudobného v jeho pravote!
7 (KJV) Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked.
7 (KAT) Nepravdivej výpovedi sa budeš vyhýbať! Nevinného a toho, kto je v práve, nepripravíš o život, lebo ja neospravodlivím toho, kto je nespravodlivý!
7 (ROH) Vzdiališ sa od lživého slova a nevinného a spravedlivého nezabiješ, lebo neospravedlním bezbožného.
8 (KJV) And thou shalt take no gift: for the gift blindeth the wise, and perverteth the words of the righteous.
8 (KAT) Dar neprijmeš, lebo dar zaslepí aj múdrych a prekrúti záležitosť tých, čo sú v práve!
8 (ROH) Nevezmeš úplatného daru, lebo úplatný dar oslepuje tých, ktorí majú otvorené oči a prevracia slová spravedlivých.
9 (KJV) Also thou shalt not oppress a stranger: for ye know the heart of a stranger, seeing ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.
9 (KAT) Nebudeš utláčať cudzinca; sami viete, ako mu to padne, veď aj vy ste boli cudzincami v egyptskej krajine!
9 (ROH) Pohostína nebudeš utláčať, lebo veď sami viete, jaký je život pohostína; lebo ste boli pohostínmi v Egyptskej zemi.
10 (KJV) And six years thou shalt sow thy land, and shalt gather in the fruits thereof:
10 (KAT) Šesť rokov budeš osievať svoju pôdu a zbierať svoju úrodu,
10 (ROH) Šesť rokov budeš posievať svoju zem a budeš spratávať jej úrodu.
11 (KJV) But the seventh year thou shalt let it rest and lie still; that the poor of thy people may eat: and what they leave the beasts of the field shall eat. In like manner thou shalt deal with thy vineyard, and with thy oliveyard.
11 (KAT) v siedmom roku ju však necháš ležať úhorom a neobrobíš ju; nech sa z nej živia chudobní tvojho ľudu; a čo zostane, nech spasú poľné zvieratá! To isté urobíš so svojou vinicou a so svojím olivovým sadom!
11 (ROH) Ale siedmeho roku ju necháš ležať úhorom, a necháš ju na pokoji, aby jedli chudobní tvojho ľudu, a to, čo pozostane po nich, požerie poľná zver. Tak učiníš svojej vinici i svojej olivnici.
12 (KJV) Six days thou shalt do thy work, and on the seventh day thou shalt rest: that thine ox and thine ass may rest, and the son of thy handmaid, and the stranger, may be refreshed.
12 (KAT) Šesť dní budeš pracovať, v siedmy deň zachováš sobotu, aby si odpočinul tvoj býk a osol a oddýchol syn tvojej nevoľnice a cudzinec!
12 (ROH) Šesť dní budeš robiť svoje práce, ale siedmeho dňa prestaneš, aby si odpočinul tvoj vôl a tvoj osol, aby si oddýchol syn tvojej dievky aj pohostín.
13 (KJV) And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.
13 (KAT) Všetko, čo som vám prikázal, budete zachovávať a mená cudzích bohov nebudete vzývať! To nech nik nepočuje z vašich úst!
13 (ROH) Vo všetkých veciach, ktoré som vám povedal, budete sa mať na pozore a mena iných bohov nebudete spomínať; nech sa nepočuje z tvojich úst.
14 (KJV) Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year.
14 (KAT) Tri razy do roka mi budeš sláviť sviatky!
14 (ROH) Trikrát mi budeš sláviť slávnosť v roku.
15 (KJV) Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:)
15 (KAT) Zachováš sviatok Nekvasených chlebov: sedem dní budeš jesť nekvasené chleby, ako som ti prikázal, v určenom čase v mesiaci abíb! Veď v ňom si vyšiel z Egypta. Ale neprídeš predo mňa s prázdnymi rukami!
15 (ROH) Ostríhať budeš slávnosť nekvasených chlebov. Sedem dní budeš jesť nekvasené chleby tak, ako som ti prikázal, na určený čas v mesiaci abíbe, lebo v tom mesiaci si vyšiel z Egypta. A neukážete sa pred mojou tvárou s prázdnymi rukami.
16 (KJV) And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field.
16 (KAT) Okrem toho (zachováš) sviatok Žatvy, prvotín svojej práce, toho, čo si zasial na poli, a sviatok Oberania na konci roka, keď zoberieš z poľa svoju úrodu!
16 (ROH) Potom slávnosť žatvy, prvotín svojej práce, toho, čo si posial na poli, a konečne slávnosť spratávania plodov na konci roka, keď spraceš svoju prácu s poľa.
17 (KJV) Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before the Lord GOD.
17 (KAT) Tri razy do roka sa ukáže každý muž pred Pánom, svojím Bohom!
17 (ROH) Tri razy v roku sa ukáže každý tvoj mužského pohlavia pred tvárou Pána Hospodina.
18 (KJV) Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leavened bread; neither shall the fat of my sacrifice remain until the morning.
18 (KAT) Nebudeš vylievať krv mojej obety na kysnutý chlieb, ani loj z mojich sviatočných obetí neodložíš do nasledujúceho rána!
18 (ROH) Nebudeš obetovať krvi mojej bitnej obeti pri kvase, ani nezostane tuk mojej slávnosti cez noc až do rána.
19 (KJV) The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring into the house of the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother's milk.
19 (KAT) To najlepšie, prvotiny tvojej pôdy, prinesieš do domu Pána, svojho Boha! Kozľa nebudeš variť v mlieku jeho matky!
19 (ROH) Prvotinu prvých úrod svojej zeme donesieš do domu Hospodina, svojho Boha. Nebudeš variť kozľaťa v mlieku jeho materi.
20 (KJV) Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.
20 (KAT) Hľa, ja pošlem pred tebou svojho anjela, aby ťa ochraňoval na ceste a doviedol ťa na miesto, ktoré som ti pripravil.
20 (ROH) Hľa, ja pošlem anjela pred tebou, aby ťa ostríhal na ceste a aby ťa doviedol na miesto, ktoré som pripravil.
21 (KJV) Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.
21 (KAT) Maj sa pred ním na pozore a počúvaj jeho hlas, a neodporuj mu, lebo vám neprepáči vaše previnenia, veď je v ňom moje meno!
21 (ROH) Maj na seba pozor pred ním a poslúchaj jeho hlas. Nepopudzuj ho k hnevu, lebo by neodpustil vášho prestúpenia, pretože moje meno je v ňom.
22 (KJV) But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.
22 (KAT) Ale ak budeš počúvať jeho hlas, a robiť všetko, čo hovorím, potom budem nepriateľom tvojich nepriateľov a sužovateľom tvojich sužovateľov.
22 (ROH) Lebo ak budeš naozaj poslúchať jeho hlas, a budeš činiť všetko, čo budem hovoriť, vtedy budem nepriateľom tvojich nepriateľov a budem sužovať tých, ktorí ťa sužujú.
23 (KJV) For mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off.
23 (KAT) Lebo môj anjel pôjde pred tebou a privedie ťa k Amorejčanom, Hetejcom, Ferezejcom, Kanaánčanom, Hevejcom a Jebuzejcom, ktorých vyhubím.
23 (ROH) Lebo môj anjel pojde pred tebou a dovedie ťa do zeme Amoreja, Heteja, Ferezeja, Kananeja, Heveja a Jebuzeja, a vyhladím ho.
24 (KJV) Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images.
24 (KAT) Nebudeš sa klaňať ich bohom, ani uctievať ich, ani robiť ich skutky, lež bezohľadne zrúcaš ich pamätníky!
24 (ROH) Nebudeš sa klaňať ich bohom ani im nebudeš slúžiť ani nebudeš robiť vecí, jaké oni robia; ale ich rozboríš do základu a ich posviatne stĺpy polámeš na kusy.
25 (KJV) And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
25 (KAT) Budeš slúžiť Pánovi, svojmu Bohu, aby som požehnal tvoj chlieb, tvoju vodu a oddialil od teba choroby.
25 (ROH) Ale budete slúžiť Hospodinovi, svojmu Bohu, a požehná tvojmu chlebu a tvojej vode, a odstránim nemoc z tvojho stredu.
26 (KJV) There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.
26 (KAT) V tvojej krajine nebude potom ženy, ktorá by potratila alebo bola neplodná - a ja doplním tvoje dni do plného počtu.
26 (ROH) Nebude takej, ktorá by potratila, ani neplodnej v tvojej zemi. Vyplním počet tvojich dňov.
27 (KJV) I will send my fear before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee.
27 (KAT) Vyšlem pred tebou svoju hrôzu a do zmätku uvediem každý ľud, ku ktorému prídeš, a všetkých tvojich nepriateľov zaženiem na útek pred tebou.
27 (ROH) Pustím svoj strach pred tebou a predesím každý ľud, proti ktorému prijdeš, a spôsobím to, že všetci tvoji nepriatelia budú utekať pred tebou.
28 (KJV) And I will send hornets before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee.
28 (KAT) Pošlem pred tebou sršne, ktoré pred tebou vyženú Hevejcov, Kanaánčanov a Hetejcov.
28 (ROH) A pošlem sršňov pred tebou, aby vyhnali Heveja, Kananeja, Heteja zpred tvojej tvári.
29 (KJV) I will not drive them out from before thee in one year; lest the land become desolate, and the beast of the field multiply against thee.
29 (KAT) Nevyženiem ich pred tebou za jeden rok, aby sa zem neobrátila v púšť a aby sa nerozmnožila divá zver na tvoju škodu.
29 (ROH) Nevyženiem ho od tvojej tvári v jednom roku, aby sa neobrátila zem na púšť, a nerozmnožila sa proti tebe poľná zver.
30 (KJV) By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land.
30 (KAT) Pomaly ich budem vyháňať spred teba, kým sa nerozmnožíš a neovládneš krajinu.
30 (ROH) Po kuse ho budem vyháňať od tvojej tvári, až sa rozplodíš a zaujmeš zem dedične.
31 (KJV) And I will set thy bounds from the Red sea even unto the sea of the Philistines, and from the desert unto the river: for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand; and thou shalt drive them out before thee.
31 (KAT) Tvojmu územiu dám siahať od Červeného mora až po Filištínske more a od púšte až po rieku, lebo obyvateľov krajiny dám do tvojej moci, aby si ich vyhnal spred seba.
31 (ROH) A položím tvoju hranicu od Červeného mora až po Filištínske more a od púšte až po rieku, lebo dám obyvateľov zeme do vašej ruky, a vyženieš ich od svojej tvári.
32 (KJV) Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods.
32 (KAT) Neuzavrieš s nimi ani s ich bohmi zmluvu!
32 (ROH) Neučiníš s nimi smluvy ani s ich bohmi.
33 (KJV) They shall not dwell in thy land, lest they make thee sin against me: for if thou serve their gods, it will surely be a snare unto thee.
33 (KAT) Nezostanú bývať v tvojej krajine, aby ťa nezviedli na hriech proti mne. Keby si uctieval ich bohov, bola by to tvoja záhuba.“
33 (ROH) Nebudú bývať v tvojej zemi, aby nespôsobili toho, že by si mi hrešil, keď by si slúžil ich bohom, lebo by ti to bolo osídlom.

Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods.
Ex 34:12 - Take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest it be for a snare in the midst of thee:
Ex 34:15 - Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring after their gods , and do sacrifice unto their gods, and one call thee, and thou eat of his sacrifice;
Dt 7:2 - And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:

They shall not dwell in thy land, lest they make thee sin against me: for if thou serve their gods, it will surely be a snare unto thee.
Joz 23:13 - Know for a certainty that the LORD your God will no more drive out any of these nations from before you; but they shall be snares and traps unto you, and scourges in your sides, and thorns in your eyes, until ye perish from off this good land which the LORD your God hath given you.
Sdc 2:3 - Wherefore I also said, I will not drive them out from before you; but they shall be as thorns in your sides, and their gods shall be a snare unto you.

Lv 19:15 - Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.

And thou shalt take no gift: for the gift blindeth the wise, and perverteth the words of the righteous.
Dt 16:19 - Thou shalt not wrest judgment; thou shalt not respect persons, neither take a gift: for a gift doth blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert the words of the righteous.
1Sam 8:3 - And his sons walked not in his ways, but turned aside after lucre, and took bribes, and perverted judgment.
Prís 19:6 - Many will intreat the favour of the prince: and every man is a friend to him that giveth gifts.
Kaz 7:7 - Surely oppression maketh a wise man mad; and a gift destroyeth the heart.

Also thou shalt not oppress a stranger: for ye know the heart of a stranger, seeing ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.
Ex 22:21 - Thou shalt neither vex a stranger, nor oppress him: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.
Lv 19:33 - And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him.
Dt 24:17 - Thou shalt not pervert the judgment of the stranger, nor of the fatherless; nor take a widow's raiment to pledge:

Ex 12:14 - And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.
Ex 13:3 - And Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which ye came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out from this place: there shall no leavened bread be eaten.
Ex 34:20 - But the firstling of an ass thou shalt redeem with a lamb: and if thou redeem him not, then shalt thou break his neck. All the firstborn of thy sons thou shalt redeem. And none shall appear before me empty.

Lv 18:3 - After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do: neither shall ye walk in their ordinances.

And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
Ex 15:26 - And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.
Dt 7:15 - And the LORD will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee.

Dt 7:14 - Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle.

I will send my fear before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee.
Ex 14:24 - And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the LORD looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians,
Joz 10:10 - And the LORD discomfited them before Israel, and slew them with a great slaughter at Gibeon, and chased them along the way that goeth up to Beth-horon, and smote them to Azekah, and unto Makkedah.

And I will send hornets before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee.
Dt 7:20 - Moreover the LORD thy God will send the hornet among them, until they that are left, and hide themselves from thee, be destroyed.

Ex 23,14 - Ide o tri sviatky: sviatok Nekvasených chlebov, sviatok Týždňov, čiže slávnosť Žatvy, ktorá sa slávila päťdesiaty deň po Veľkej noci, a napokon sviatok Stánkov, čiže Oberania, v mesiaci tišri. V tieto tri sviatky mali sa všetci Izraeliti dostaviť pred Pána, teda do svätyne. Mali priniesť Pánovi dary, obetu. O týchto sviatkoch pozri Dt 16.
Ex 23,19 - Zákaz variť kozľa v mlieku jeho matky dáva sa preto, aby sa Izraeliti vyvarovali modloslužby. U iných národov takéto varenie bolo oslavou nepravého božstva. Akýsi kult znovuzrodenia.
Ex 23,31 - Filištínske more je Stredozemné more. Rieka je rieka Eufrat. Po Eufrat siahalo izraelské územie iba za vlády kráľa Dávida a Šalamúna.
