1 (KJV) If a man shall steal an ox, or a sheep, and kill it, or sell it; he shall restore five oxen for an ox, and four sheep for a sheep.
1 (B21) Jestliže bude zloděj přistižen při vloupání a bude udeřen tak, že zemře, nebude ten, kdo ho udeřil, vinen prolitou krví.
2 (KJV) If a thief be found breaking up, and be smitten that he die, there shall no blood be shed for him.
2 (B21) Jestliže se to však stane za bílého dne, bude prolitou krví vinen.Zloděj musí nahradit škodu. Jestliže nemá čím, bude za svou krádež prodán.
3 (KJV) If the sun be risen upon him, there shall be blood shed for him; for he should make full restitution; if he have nothing, then he shall be sold for his theft.
3 (B21) Jestliže se u něj to, co ukradl, najde živé - ať býk, osel nebo beránek - nahradí to dvojnásobně.
4 (KJV) If the theft be certainly found in his hand alive, whether it be ox, or ass, or sheep; he shall restore double.
4 (B21) Když někdo spase pole nebo vinici tím, že nechá svůj dobytek, aby se pásl na cizím poli, nahradí to tím nejlepším ze svého pole a ze své vinice.
5 (KJV) If a man shall cause a field or vineyard to be eaten, and shall put in his beast, and shall feed in another man's field; of the best of his own field, and of the best of his own vineyard, shall he make restitution.
5 (B21) Když vypukne oheň a zachvátí křoví, takže shoří stoh nebo stojící obilí nebo celé pole, musí ten, kdo požár způsobil, nahradit škodu.
6 (KJV) If fire break out, and catch in thorns, so that the stacks of corn, or the standing corn, or the field, be consumed therewith; he that kindled the fire shall surely make restitution.
6 (B21) Když někdo svěří svému bližnímu do úschovy peníze nebo cenné předměty a bude to z domu toho muže ukradeno, jestliže bude zloděj nalezen, nahradí to dvojnásobně.
7 (KJV) If a man shall deliver unto his neighbour money or stuff to keep, and it be stolen out of the man's house; if the thief be found, let him pay double.
7 (B21) Jestliže zloděj nalezen nebude, přivedou majitele domu před Boha, aby odpřisáhl, že nevztáhl ruku na majetek svého bližního.
8 (KJV) If the thief be not found, then the master of the house shall be brought unto the judges, to see whether he have put his hand unto his neighbour's goods.
8 (B21) V každé majetkové při, půjde-li o býka, osla nebo beránka, o plášť nebo o jakoukoli ztracenou věc, kterou by někdo označil za svou, ať přijde spor obou stran před Boha. Koho Bůh označí za viníka, ten dá svému bližnímu dvojnásobnou náhradu.
9 (KJV) For all manner of trespass, whether it be for ox, for ass, for sheep, for raiment, or for any manner of lost thing, which another challengeth to be his, the cause of both parties shall come before the judges; and whom the judges shall condemn, he shall pay double unto his neighbour.
9 (B21) Když někdo svěří svému bližnímu do opatrování osla, býka, beránka nebo jakékoli zvíře a ono beze svědků pojde nebo zchromne nebo bude odehnáno,
10 (KJV) If a man deliver unto his neighbour an ass, or an ox, or a sheep, or any beast, to keep; and it die, or be hurt, or driven away, no man seeing it:
10 (B21) rozsoudí je přísaha při Hospodinu, že nevztáhli ruku na majetek svého bližního. Majitel přísahu přijme a k náhradě nedojde.
11 (KJV) Then shall an oath of the LORD be between them both, that he hath not put his hand unto his neighbour's goods; and the owner of it shall accept thereof, and he shall not make it good.
11 (B21) Jestliže to však bylo ukradeno, majitel dostane náhradu.
12 (KJV) And if it be stolen from him, he shall make restitution unto the owner thereof.
12 (B21) Jestliže bylo rozsápáno, ať přinesou důkaz; rozsápané se nahrazovat nebude.
13 (KJV) If it be torn in pieces, then let him bring it for witness, and he shall not make good that which was torn.
13 (B21) Když si někdo od svého bližního vypůjčí zvíře a ono zchromne nebo pojde, když u toho nebude jeho majitel, musí je nahradit.
14 (KJV) And if a man borrow ought of his neighbour, and it be hurt, or die, the owner thereof being not with it, he shall surely make it good.
14 (B21) Jestliže u toho majitel bude, k náhradě nedojde. Jestliže bylo najaté, je to zahrnuto v ceně."
15 (KJV) But if the owner thereof be with it, he shall not make it good: if it be an hired thing, it came for his hire.
15 (B21) "Když někdo svede nezasnoubenou pannu a vyspí se s ní, musí za ni zaplatit věno a vzít si ji za ženu.
16 (KJV) And if a man entice a maid that is not betrothed, and lie with her, he shall surely endow her to be his wife.
16 (B21) Jestliže mu ji dívčin otec odmítne dát, musí mu svůdce odvážit stříbro ve výši panenského věna.
17 (KJV) If her father utterly refuse to give her unto him, he shall pay money according to the dowry of virgins.
17 (B21) Čarodějnici nenech naživu.
18 (KJV) Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.
18 (B21) Kdokoli by obcoval se zvířetem, musí zemřít.
19 (KJV) Whosoever lieth with a beast shall surely be put to death.
19 (B21) Kdo by obětoval jakýmkoli bohům kromě samotného Hospodina, propadne klatbě.
20 (KJV) He that sacrificeth unto any god, save unto the LORD only, he shall be utterly destroyed.
20 (B21) Přistěhovalci neubližuj ani ho neutiskuj - vždyť jste sami byli přistěhovalci v Egyptě!
21 (KJV) Thou shalt neither vex a stranger, nor oppress him: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.
21 (B21) Nikdy neubližuj vdově ani sirotku.
22 (KJV) Ye shall not afflict any widow, or fatherless child.
22 (B21) Budeš-li jim nelítostně ubližovat, věz, že ke mně budou volat a já jejich volání jistě vyslyším.
23 (KJV) If thou afflict them in any wise, and they cry at all unto me, I will surely hear their cry;
23 (B21) Vzplanu hněvem a pobiji vás mečem, takže z vašich žen budou vdovy a z vašich dětí sirotci.
24 (KJV) And my wrath shall wax hot, and I will kill you with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless.
24 (B21) Jestliže půjčíš peníze někomu z mého lidu, chudákovi, který je s tebou, nechovej se k němu jako lichvář, neukládej mu úrok.
25 (KJV) If thou lend money to any of my people that is poor by thee, thou shalt not be to him as an usurer, neither shalt thou lay upon him usury.
25 (B21) Jestliže vezmeš do zástavy plášť svého bližního, vrať mu ho do západu slunce.
26 (KJV) If thou at all take thy neighbour's raiment to pledge, thou shalt deliver it unto him by that the sun goeth down:
26 (B21) Vždyť je to jeho jediná přikrývka, tím pláštěm přikrývá svou nahotu! V čem by spal? Až ke mně bude volat, vyslyším jej, neboť jsem milostivý.
27 (KJV) For that is his covering only, it is his raiment for his skin: wherein shall he sleep? and it shall come to pass, when he crieth unto me, that I will hear; for I am gracious.
27 (B21) Nerouhej se Bohu a vůdci svého lidu nespílej.
28 (KJV) Thou shalt not revile the gods, nor curse the ruler of thy people.
28 (B21) Neváhej se podělit o úrodu, o víno a olej ze svého lisu. Svého prvorozeného syna odevzdej mně.
29 (KJV) Thou shalt not delay to offer the first of thy ripe fruits, and of thy liquors: the firstborn of thy sons shalt thou give unto me.
29 (B21) Právě tak nalož se svým skotem a bravem: sedm dní zůstane u matky, osmého dne jej dáš mně.
30 (KJV) Likewise shalt thou do with thine oxen, and with thy sheep: seven days it shall be with his dam; on the eighth day thou shalt give it me.
30 (B21) Buďte pro mě svatí. Nejezte maso zvířete rozsápaného na poli. Hoďte je psu."
31 (KJV) And ye shall be holy men unto me: neither shall ye eat any flesh that is torn of beasts in the field; ye shall cast it to the dogs.

Verš 1
If a man shall steal an ox, or a sheep, and kill it, or sell it; he shall restore five oxen for an ox, and four sheep for a sheep.
2Sam 12:6 - And he shall restore the lamb fourfold, because he did this thing, and because he had no pity.

Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.
Dt 18:10 - There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,
Verš 19
Whosoever lieth with a beast shall surely be put to death.
Lv 18:23 - Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion.
Lv 20:15 - And if a man lie with a beast, he shall surely be put to death: and ye shall slay the beast.
Verš 20
He that sacrificeth unto any god, save unto the LORD only, he shall be utterly destroyed.
Dt 17:2 - If there be found among you, within any of thy gates which the LORD thy God giveth thee, man or woman, that hath wrought wickedness in the sight of the LORD thy God, in transgressing his covenant,
Verš 21
Thou shalt neither vex a stranger, nor oppress him: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.
Lv 19:34 - But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.
Verš 22
Ye shall not afflict any widow, or fatherless child.
Za 7:10 - And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.
Verš 25
If thou lend money to any of my people that is poor by thee, thou shalt not be to him as an usurer, neither shalt thou lay upon him usury.
Lv 25:36 - Take thou no usury of him, or increase: but fear thy God; that thy brother may live with thee.
Dt 23:19 - Thou shalt not lend upon usury to thy brother; usury of money, usury of victuals, usury of any thing that is lent upon usury:
Ž 15:5 - He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.
Prís 28:8 - He that by usury and unjust gain increaseth his substance, he shall gather it for him that will pity the poor.
Ez 18:8 - He that hath not given forth upon usury, neither hath taken any increase, that hath withdrawn his hand from iniquity, hath executed true judgment between man and man,

If thou at all take thy neighbour's raiment to pledge, thou shalt deliver it unto him by that the sun goeth down:
Dt 24:12 - And if the man be poor, thou shalt not sleep with his pledge:
Verš 28
Thou shalt not revile the gods, nor curse the ruler of thy people.
Sk 23:3 - Then said Paul unto him, God shall smite thee, thou whited wall: for sittest thou to judge me after the law, and commandest me to be smitten contrary to the law?
Verš 29
Thou shalt not delay to offer the first of thy ripe fruits, and of thy liquors: the firstborn of thy sons shalt thou give unto me.
Ex 13:2 - Sanctify unto me all the firstborn, whatsoever openeth the womb among the children of Israel, both of man and of beast: it is mine.
Ex 13:12 - That thou shalt set apart unto the LORD all that openeth the matrix, and every firstling that cometh of a beast which thou hast; the males shall be the LORD's.

Likewise shalt thou do with thine oxen, and with thy sheep: seven days it shall be with his dam; on the eighth day thou shalt give it me.
Ex 23:19 - The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring into the house of the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother's milk.
Lv 22:27 - When a bullock, or a sheep, or a goat, is brought forth, then it shall be seven days under the dam; and from the eighth day and thenceforth it shall be accepted for an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
Ez 44:30 - And the first of all the firstfruits of all things, and every oblation of all, of every sort of your oblations, shall be the priest's: ye shall also give unto the priest the first of your dough, that he may cause the blessing to rest in thine house.
Verš 31
And ye shall be holy men unto me: neither shall ye eat any flesh that is torn of beasts in the field; ye shall cast it to the dogs.
Lv 22:8 - That which dieth of itself, or is torn with beasts, he shall not eat to defile himself therewith: I am the LORD.
Ez 44:31 - The priests shall not eat of any thing that is dead of itself, or torn, whether it be fowl or beast.
