1 (HEM) ואלה המשפטים אשר תשים לפניהם׃
1 (KAT) Toto sú právne ustanovenia, ktoré im predložíš:
1 (UKJV) Now these are the judgments which you shall set before them.

2 (HEM) כי תקנה עבד עברי שש שנים יעבד ובשבעת יצא לחפשי חנם׃
2 (KAT) Ak si kúpiš hebrejského otroka, nech ti slúži šesť rokov a v siedmom roku odíde bezplatne slobodný.
2 (UKJV) If you buy an Hebrew servant, six years he shall serve: and in the seventh he shall go out free for nothing.

3 (HEM) אם בגפו יבא בגפו יצא אם בעל אשה הוא ויצאה אשתו עמו׃
3 (KAT) Ak prišiel sám, sám aj odíde. Ak bol už ženatý, odíde s ním aj jeho žena.
3 (UKJV) If he came in by himself, he shall go out by himself: if he were married, then his wife shall go out with him.

4 (HEM) אם אדניו יתן לו אשה וילדה לו בנים או בנות האשה וילדיה תהיה לאדניה והוא יצא בגפו׃
4 (KAT) Ak mu však pán dal ženu a ona mu porodila synov a dcéry, žena aj s deťmi patria pánovi a len on sám odíde.
4 (UKJV) "If his master have given him a wife, and she have born him sons or daughters; the wife and her children shall be her master's, and he shall go out by himself. "

5 (HEM) ואם אמר יאמר העבד אהבתי את אדני את אשתי ואת בני לא אצא חפשי׃
5 (KAT) Ak však otrok vyhlási: »Milujem svojho pána, svoju manželku a svoje deti a neodídem na slobodu,«
5 (UKJV) "And if the servant shall plainly say, I love my master, my wife, and my children; I will not go out free: "

6 (HEM) והגישו אדניו אל האלהים והגישו אל הדלת או אל המזוזה ורצע אדניו את אזנו במרצע ועבדו לעלם׃
6 (KAT) jeho pán ho privedie pred Boha, potom ho zavedie k dverám alebo verajam a jeho pán mu šidlom prepichne ucho. A bude jeho otrokom naveky.
6 (UKJV) "Then his master shall bring him unto the judges; he shall also bring him to the door, or unto the door post; and his master shall bore his ear through with an aul; and he shall serve him for ever. "

7 (HEM) וכי ימכר איש את בתו לאמה לא תצא כצאת העבדים׃
7 (KAT) Ak niekto predá svoju dcéru za nevoľnicu, ona neodíde, ako odchádzajú otrokyne.
7 (UKJV) And if a man sell his daughter to be a maidservant, she shall not go out as the male servants do.

8 (HEM) אם רעה בעיני אדניה אשר לא יעדה והפדה לעם נכרי לא ימשל למכרה בבגדו בה׃
8 (KAT) Ak sa znepáči svojmu pánovi, ktorý si ju vybral, nech jej dovolí vykúpiť sa. Nesmie ju však predať cudziemu národu, ak sa od nej odvrátil.
8 (UKJV) If she please not her master, who has betrothed her to himself, then shall he let her be redeemed: to sell her unto a strange nation he shall have no power, seeing he has dealt deceitfully with her.

9 (HEM) ואם לבנו ייעדנה כמשפט הבנות יעשה לה׃
9 (KAT) Ak ju určí svojmu synovi, bude s ňou zaobchádzať podľa práva dcér.
9 (UKJV) And if he have betrothed her unto his son, he shall deal with her after the manner of daughters.

10 (HEM) אם אחרת יקח לו שארה כסותה וענתה לא יגרע׃
10 (KAT) Ak by si vzal ešte ďalšiu, neukráti ju ani na jedle, ani na šatstve, ani na manželskom obcovaní.
10 (UKJV) "If he take him another wife; her food, her raiment, and her duty of marriage, shall he not diminish. "

11 (HEM) ואם שלש אלה לא יעשה לה ויצאה חנם אין כסף׃
11 (KAT) Ak jej neposkytne tieto tri veci, tak ona môže voľne odísť bez toho, žeby niečo platila.
11 (UKJV) And if he do not these three unto her, then shall she go out free without money.

12 (HEM) מכה איש ומת מות יומת׃
12 (KAT) Ten, kto niekoho udrie tak, že ho zabije, musí zomrieť.
12 (UKJV) He that strikes a man, so that he die, shall be surely put to death.

13 (HEM) ואשר לא צדה והאלהים אנה לידו ושמתי לך מקום אשר ינוס שמה׃
13 (KAT) Ak to však neurobil úmyselne, ale azda Boh to dopustil, tak ti ustanovím miesto, kde sa bude môcť utiecť.
13 (UKJV) "And if a man lie not in wait, but God deliver him into his hand; then I will appoint you a place where he shall flee. "

14 (HEM) וכי יזד איש על רעהו להרגו בערמה מעם מזבחי תקחנו למות׃
14 (KAT) Kto zločinne a úkladne zabije svojho blížneho, aj od môjho oltára ho odtrhneš, aby zomrel.
14 (UKJV) "But if a man come presumptuously upon his neighbour, to slay him with guile; you shall take him from mine altar, that he may die. "

15 (HEM) ומכה אביו ואמו מות יומת׃
15 (KAT) Kto udrie svojho otca alebo svoju matku, musí zomrieť.
15 (UKJV) And he that strikes his father, or his mother, shall be surely put to death.

16 (HEM) וגנב איש ומכרו ונמצא בידו מות יומת׃
16 (KAT) Kto ukradne človeka a predá ho, alebo ho bude mať vo svojej moci, musí zomrieť.
16 (UKJV) And he that steals a man, and sells him, or if he be found in his hand, he shall surely be put to death.

17 (HEM) ומקלל אביו ואמו מות יומת׃
17 (KAT) Kto zlorečí svojmu otcovi alebo svojej matke, musí zomrieť.
17 (UKJV) And he that curses his father, or his mother, shall surely be put to death.

18 (HEM) וכי יריבן אנשים והכה איש את רעהו באבן או באגרף ולא ימות ונפל למשכב׃
18 (KAT) Ak sa mužovia pohádajú a jeden udrie druhého kameňom alebo nejakým ťažším predmetom tak, že ten síce nezomrie, ale bude ležať na lôžku,
18 (UKJV) And if men strive together, and one strike another with a stone, or with his fist, and he die not, but keeps his bed:

19 (HEM) אם יקום והתהלך בחוץ על משענתו ונקה המכה רק שבתו יתן ורפא ירפא׃
19 (KAT) ak potom vstane a bude chodiť vonku o palici, tak ten, čo ho udrel, bude bez trestu; nahradí však tamtomu, čo zameškal, a zaplatí, čo sa vynaložilo na jeho liečenie.
19 (UKJV) If he rise again, and walk abroad upon his staff, then shall he that stroke him be quit: only he shall pay for the loss of his time, and shall cause him to be thoroughly healed.

20 (HEM) וכי יכה איש את עבדו או את אמתו בשבט ומת תחת ידו נקם ינקם׃
20 (KAT) Kto tak udrie svojho otroka alebo svoju slúžku palicou, že zomrie pod jeho rukou, treba ho prísne potrestať;
20 (UKJV) "And if a man strike his servant, or his maid, with a rod, and he die under his hand; he shall be surely punished. "

21 (HEM) אך אם יום או יומים יעמד לא יקם כי כספו הוא׃
21 (KAT) ak ostanú jeden alebo dva dni nažive, nepodlieha nijakému trestu, lebo oni sú jeho majetkom.
21 (UKJV) Notwithstanding, if he continue a day or two, he shall not be punished: for he is his money.

22 (HEM) וכי ינצו אנשים ונגפו אשה הרה ויצאו ילדיה ולא יהיה אסון ענוש יענש כאשר ישית עליו בעל האשה ונתן בפללים׃
22 (KAT) Ak sa mužovia medzi sebou bijú a pri tom udrú tehotnú ženu tak, že jej odíde plod, ale nenastane nešťastie, tak ten zaplatí toľko, koľko od neho bude žiadať manžel ženy - a dá to podľa rozhodnutia sudcov.
22 (UKJV) "If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman's husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine. "

23 (HEM) ואם אסון יהיה ונתתה נפש תחת נפש׃
23 (KAT) Ale ak nastane nešťastie, tak dáš život za život,
23 (UKJV) And if any mischief follow, then you shall give life for life,

24 (HEM) עין תחת עין שן תחת שן יד תחת יד רגל תחת רגל׃
24 (KAT) oko za oko, zub za zub, ruku za ruku, nohu za nohu,
24 (UKJV) Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot,

25 (HEM) כויה תחת כויה פצע תחת פצע חבורה תחת חבורה׃
25 (KAT) popáleninu za popáleninu, ranu za ranu, hrču za hrču.
25 (UKJV) Burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.

26 (HEM) וכי יכה איש את עין עבדו או את עין אמתו ושחתה לחפשי ישלחנו תחת עינו׃
26 (KAT) Ak niekto udrie svojho otroka alebo svoju slúžku po oku a zničí mu ho, za jeho oko daruje mu slobodu.
26 (UKJV) "And if a man strike the eye of his servant, or the eye of his maid, that it perish; he shall let him go free for his eye's sake. "

27 (HEM) ואם שן עבדו או שן אמתו יפיל לחפשי ישלחנו תחת שנו׃
27 (KAT) Ak vybije svojmu otrokovi alebo svojej slúžke zub, prepustí ho za jeho zub na slobodu.
27 (UKJV) "And if he strike out his manservant's tooth, or his maidservant's tooth; he shall let him go free for his tooth's sake. "

28 (HEM) וכי יגח שור את איש או את אשה ומת סקול יסקל השור ולא יאכל את בשרו ובעל השור נקי׃
28 (KAT) Ak býk tak pokole muža alebo ženu, že zomrú, býk sa musí ukameňovať a jeho mäso sa nesmie jesť. Majiteľ býka však nepodlieha trestu.
28 (UKJV) "If an ox gore a man or a woman, that they die: then the ox shall be surely stoned, and his flesh shall not be eaten; but the owner of the ox shall be quit. "

29 (HEM) ואם שור נגח הוא מתמל שלשם והועד בבעליו ולא ישמרנו והמית איש או אשה השור יסקל וגם בעליו יומת׃
29 (KAT) Ale ak býk už predtým klal a majiteľ nedozeral naň, hoci bol na to upozornený, ak zmárnil muža alebo ženu, bude ukameňovaný a aj jeho majiteľ musí zomrieť.
29 (UKJV) "But if the ox were known to push with his horn in time past, and it has been testified to his owner, and he has not kept him in, but that he has killed a man or a woman; the ox shall be stoned, and his owner also shall be put to death. "

30 (HEM) אם כפר יושת עליו ונתן פדין נפשו ככל אשר יושת עליו׃
30 (KAT) Ak sa mu však uloží peňažitá pokuta, tak za svoj život zaplatí také výkupné, aké sa mu uloží.
30 (UKJV) If there be laid on him a sum of money, then he shall give for the ransom of his life whatsoever is laid upon him.

31 (HEM) או בן יגח או בת יגח כמשפט הזה יעשה לו׃
31 (KAT) Keď pokole chlapca alebo dievča, naloží sa s ním podľa tých istých ustanovení.
31 (UKJV) Whether he have gored a son, or have gored a daughter, according to this judgment shall it be done unto him.

32 (HEM) אם עבד יגח השור או אמה כסף שלשים שקלים יתן לאדניו והשור יסקל׃
32 (KAT) Ak býk pokole otroka alebo slúžku, tak sa jeho pánovi zaplatí tridsať strieborných šeklov a býk sa ukameňuje.
32 (UKJV) "If the ox shall push a manservant or a maidservant; he shall give unto their master thirty shekels of silver, and the ox shall be stoned. "

33 (HEM) וכי יפתח איש בור או כי יכרה איש בר ולא יכסנו ונפל שמה שור או חמור׃
33 (KAT) Keď niekto nechá otvorenú cisternu, alebo ak niekto vykope cisternu a nezakryje ju, a ak potom do nej padne býk alebo osol,
33 (UKJV) "And if a man shall open a pit, or if a man shall dig a pit, and not cover it, and an ox or an ass fall therein; "

34 (HEM) בעל הבור ישלם כסף ישיב לבעליו והמת יהיה לו׃
34 (KAT) tak majiteľ cisterny zaplatí v peniazoch náhradu jeho majiteľovi, odhynutý (kus) však bude jeho.
34 (UKJV) "The owner of the pit shall make it good, and give money unto the owner of them; and the dead beast shall be his. "

35 (HEM) וכי יגף שור איש את שור רעהו ומת ומכרו את השור החי וחצו את כספו וגם את המת יחצון׃
35 (KAT) Keď niečí býk pokole býka niekoho iného tak, že zahynie, tak živého býka musia predať a s jeho cenou sa rozdelia, s uhynutým sa tiež rozdelia.
35 (UKJV) "And if one man's ox hurt another's, that he die; then they shall sell the live ox, and divide the money of it; and the dead ox also they shall divide. "

36 (HEM) או נודע כי שור נגח הוא מתמול שלשם ולא ישמרנו בעליו שלם ישלם שור תחת השור והמת יהיה לו׃
36 (KAT) Keď sa však vedelo, že býk kole a jeho majiteľ nedozeral naň, tak zaplatí úplnú náhradu, býka za býka a uhynutý (kus) bude celý jeho.
36 (UKJV) "Or if it be known that the ox has used to push in time past, and his owner has not kept him in; he shall surely pay ox for ox; and the dead shall be his own. "
