Kniha Exodus

1 (HEM) ויסעו כל עדת בני ישראל ממדבר סין למסעיהם על פי יהוה ויחנו ברפידים ואין מים לשתת העם׃
1 (KAT) Potom na Pánov rozkaz tiahla celá izraelská pospolitosť po svojich stanoviskách z púšte Sin a utáborila sa v Rafidim, kde nebolo vody na pitie pre ľud.
1 (UKJV) And all the congregation of the children of Israel journeyed from the wilderness of Sin, after their journeys, according to the commandment of the LORD, and pitched in Rephidim: and there was no water for the people to drink.

2 (HEM) וירב העם עם משה ויאמרו תנו לנו מים ונשתה ויאמר להם משה מה תריבון עמדי מה תנסון את יהוה׃
2 (KAT) A ľud doliehal na Mojžiša a vravel: „Daj nám vodu na pitie!“ Ale Mojžiš im odvetil: „Prečo sa vadíte so mnou a prečo pokúšate Pána?“
2 (UKJV) Wherefore the people did chide with Moses, and said, Give us water that we may drink. And Moses said unto them, Why chide all of you with me? wherefore do all of you tempt the LORD?

3 (HEM) ויצמא שם העם למים וילן העם על משה ויאמר למה זה העליתנו ממצרים להמית אתי ואת בני ואת מקני בצמא׃
3 (KAT) Ale ľud, ktorý tam dychtil po vode, reptal proti Mojžišovi a vravel: „Načo si nás len vyviedol z Egypta?! Vari na to, aby si mňa, moje deti a môj dobytok umoril smädom?“
3 (UKJV) "And the people thirsted there for water; and the people murmured against Moses, and said, Wherefore is this that you have brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst? "

4 (HEM) ויצעק משה אל יהוה לאמר מה אעשה לעם הזה עוד מעט וסקלני׃
4 (KAT) Tu Mojžiš volal k Pánovi: „Čo si počnem s týmto ľudom?! Len trošku a ukameňovali by ma!“
4 (UKJV) And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, What shall I do unto this people? they be almost ready to stone me.

5 (HEM) ויאמר יהוה אל משה עבר לפני העם וקח אתך מזקני ישראל ומטך אשר הכית בו את היאר קח בידך והלכת׃
5 (KAT) Pán odpovedal Mojžišovi: „Predstúp pred ľud, zober si niektorých starších z Izraela, do ruky si vezmi svoju palicu, ktorou si udieral Níl, a choď!
5 (UKJV) "And the LORD said unto Moses, Go on before the people, and take with you of the elders of Israel; and your rod, wherewith you smote the river, take in your hand, and go. "

6 (HEM) הנני עמד לפניך שם על הצור בחרב והכית בצור ויצאו ממנו מים ושתה העם ויעש כן משה לעיני זקני ישראל׃
6 (KAT) Hľa, ja tam budem stáť pred tebou na skale, na Horebe! Udri potom na skalu, vytečie z nej voda a ľud bude môcť piť.“ A Mojžiš urobil tak pred staršími Izraela.
6 (UKJV) "Behold, I will stand before you there upon the rock in Horeb; and you shall strike the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel. "

7 (HEM) ויקרא שם המקום מסה ומריבה על ריב בני ישראל ועל נסתם את יהוה לאמר היש יהוה בקרבנו אם אין׃
7 (KAT) Potom nazval to miesto Massa a Meríba, lebo Izraeliti sa tam vadili a pokúšali Pána, keď vraveli: „Je teda Pán medzi nami, alebo nie?“
7 (UKJV) And he called the name of the place Massah, and Meribah, because of the chiding of the children of Israel, and because they tempted the LORD, saying, Is the LORD among us, or not?

8 (HEM) ויבא עמלק וילחם עם ישראל ברפידם׃
8 (KAT) Tu prišiel Amalek a pri Rafidim napadol Izrael.
8 (UKJV) Then came Amalek, and fought with Israel in Rephidim.

9 (HEM) ויאמר משה אל יהושע בחר לנו אנשים וצא הלחם בעמלק מחר אנכי נצב על ראש הגבעה ומטה האלהים בידי׃
9 (KAT) Vtedy Mojžiš povedal Jozuemu: „Vyber nám mužov a choď bojovať s Amalekom! Ja budem stáť na končiari vrchu s Božou palicou v ruke.“
9 (UKJV) And Moses said unto Joshua, Choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek: tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in mine hand.

10 (HEM) ויעש יהושע כאשר אמר לו משה להלחם בעמלק ומשה אהרן וחור עלו ראש הגבעה׃
10 (KAT) A Jozue urobil, ako mu uložil Mojžiš, a dal sa do boja s Amalekom. Mojžiš, Áron a Hur vystúpili na končiar vrchu.
10 (UKJV) So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek: and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.

11 (HEM) והיה כאשר ירים משה ידו וגבר ישראל וכאשר יניח ידו וגבר עמלק׃
11 (KAT) A kým mal Mojžiš zdvihnuté ruky, víťazil Izrael, len čo ruky spustil, víťazil Amalek.
11 (UKJV) And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.

12 (HEM) וידי משה כבדים ויקחו אבן וישימו תחתיו וישב עליה ואהרן וחור תמכו בידיו מזה אחד ומזה אחד ויהי ידיו אמונה עד בא השמש׃
12 (KAT) Ale Mojžišovi ruky oťaželi. Tu vzali kameň a podložili mu ho, a on si naň sadol. Áron a Hur mu ruky podopierali jeden z jednej a druhý z druhej strany, a tak zostali jeho ruky v rovnakej polohe až do západu slnka.
12 (UKJV) "But Moses hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. "

13 (HEM) ויחלש יהושע את עמלק ואת עמו לפי חרב׃
13 (KAT) A Jozue porazil Amaleka a jeho ľud ostrím meča.
13 (UKJV) And Joshua humiliated Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.

14 (HEM) ויאמר יהוה אל משה כתב זאת זכרון בספר ושים באזני יהושע כי מחה אמחה את זכר עמלק מתחת השמים׃
14 (KAT) Pán potom prikázal Mojžišovi: „Zapíš to na pamiatku do knihy a vštep Jozuemu do uší, že (aj) pamiatku na Amaleka úplne vytriem spod neba.“
14 (UKJV) And the LORD said unto Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: for I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.

15 (HEM) ויבן משה מזבח ויקרא שמו יהוה נסי׃
15 (KAT) Nato Mojžiš postavil oltár a nazval ho Pán je moja zástava.
15 (UKJV) And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it Jehovahnissi:

16 (HEM) ויאמר כי יד על כס יה מלחמה ליהוה בעמלק מדר דר׃
16 (KAT) Povedal: „Ruky hore k Pánovmu trónu! Pán je v boji proti Amalekovi z pokolenia na pokolenie.“
16 (UKJV) For he said, Because the LORD has sworn that the LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.
