Ex 17, 1-16

1 (KJV) And all the congregation of the children of Israel journeyed from the wilderness of Sin, after their journeys, according to the commandment of the LORD, and pitched in Rephidim: and there was no water for the people to drink.
1 (SVD) ثم ارتحل كل جماعة بني اسرائيل من برية سين بحسب مراحلهم على موجب امر الرب ونزلوا في رفيديم. ولم يكن ماء ليشرب الشعب.
1 (B21) Celá izraelská obec potom podle Hospodinova rozkazu vytáhla z pouště Sin na další cestu. Když se však utábořili v Refidimu, nebyla tam voda, aby lid mohl pít.

2 (KJV) Wherefore the people did chide with Moses, and said, Give us water that we may drink. And Moses said unto them, Why chide ye with me? wherefore do ye tempt the LORD?
2 (SVD) فخاصم الشعب موسى وقالوا اعطونا ماء لنشرب. فقال لهم موسى لماذا تخاصمونني. لماذا تجربون الرب.
2 (B21) Začali tedy na Mojžíše dotírat: "Dejte nám vodu, ať máme co pít!" Mojžíš jim řekl: "Proč na mě dotíráte? Proč pokoušíte Hospodina?"

3 (KJV) And the people thirsted there for water; and the people murmured against Moses, and said, Wherefore is this that thou hast brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst?
3 (SVD) وعطش هناك الشعب الى الماء. وتذمّر الشعب على موسى وقالوا لماذا اصعدتنا من مصر لتميتنا واولادنا ومواشينا بالعطش.
3 (B21) A tak tam lid žíznil po vodě a reptal proti Mojžíšovi. "Proč jsi nás vyvedl z Egypta?" vyčítali mu. "Abys nás i s našimi syny a dobytkem umořil žízní?!"

4 (KJV) And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, What shall I do unto this people? they be almost ready to stone me.
4 (SVD) فصرخ موسى الى الرب قائلا ماذا افعل بهذا الشعب. بعد قليل يرجمونني.
4 (B21) Mojžíš tedy volal k Hospodinu: "Co mám s tímto lidem dělat? Za chvíli mě ukamenují!"

5 (KJV) And the LORD said unto Moses, Go on before the people, and take with thee of the elders of Israel; and thy rod, wherewith thou smotest the river, take in thine hand, and go.
5 (SVD) فقال الرب لموسى مرّ قدّام الشعب وخذ معك من شيوخ اسرائيل. وعصاك التي ضربت بها النهر خذها في يدك واذهب.
5 (B21) Hospodin Mojžíšovi řekl: "Vyjdi před lid a vezmi s sebou některé z izraelských stařešinů. Vezmi s sebou i svou hůl, kterou jsi udeřil do Nilu, a jdi.

6 (KJV) Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.
6 (SVD) ها انا اقف امامك هناك على الصخرة في حوريب فتضرب الصخرة فيخرج منها ماء ليشرب الشعب. ففعل موسى هكذا امام عيون شيوخ اسرائيل.
6 (B21) Pohleď, já budu stát před tebou tam na té skále, na Orébu. Udeř do skály a vyjde z ní voda, aby lid měl co pít." A Mojžíš to před očima izraelských stařešinů učinil.

7 (KJV) And he called the name of the place Massah, and Meribah, because of the chiding of the children of Israel, and because they tempted the LORD, saying, Is the LORD among us, or not?
7 (SVD) ودعا اسم الموضع مسّة ومريبة من اجل مخاصمة بني اسرائيل ومن اجل تجربتهم للرب قائلين أفي وسطنا الرب ام لا
7 (B21) To místo pak pojmenoval Massa a Meriba, Pokušení a Svár, kvůli dotírání synů Izraele a proto, že pokoušeli Hospodina slovy: "Je mezi námi Hospodin, nebo ne?"

8 (KJV) Then came Amalek, and fought with Israel in Rephidim.
8 (SVD) وأتى عماليق وحارب اسرائيل في رفيديم.
8 (B21) Potom přitáhl Amalek a bojoval v Refidimu s Izraelem.

9 (KJV) And Moses said unto Joshua, Choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek: to morrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in mine hand.
9 (SVD) فقال موسى ليشوع انتخب لنا رجالا واخرج حارب عماليق. وغدا اقف انا على راس التلّة وعصا الله في يدي.
9 (B21) Mojžíš tenkrát řekl Jozuovi: "Vyber si muže a vytáhni s nimi do boje proti Amalekovi. Já se zítra postavím na vrchol pahorku a budu mít v ruce Boží hůl."

10 (KJV) So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek: and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.
10 (SVD) ففعل يشوع كما قال له موسى ليحارب عماليق. واما موسى وهرون وحور فصعدوا على راس التلّة.
10 (B21) Jozue udělal, jak mu Mojžíš řekl, a bojoval s Amalekem. Mojžíš, Áron a Hur zatím vystoupili na vrchol pahorku.

11 (KJV) And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.
11 (SVD) وكان اذا رفع موسى يده ان اسرائيل يغلب واذا خفض يده ان عماليق يغلب.
11 (B21) A dokud Mojžíš držel ruku zvednutou, vítězil Izrael, jakmile však ruku nechával klesnout, vítězil Amalek.

12 (KJV) But Moses' hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.
12 (SVD) فلما صارت يدا موسى ثقيلتين اخذا حجرا ووضعاه تحته فجلس عليه. ودعم هرون وحور يديه الواحد من هنا والآخر من هناك. فكانت يداه ثابتتين الى غروب الشمس.
12 (B21) Když pak už Mojžíšovi ztěžkly ruce, vzali kámen, přistrčili ho pod něj a on si na něj sedl. Áron a Hur mu pak podpírali ruce každý z jedné strany, takže jeho ruce zůstaly na místě až do západu slunce.

13 (KJV) And Joshua discomfited Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.
13 (SVD) فهزم يشوع عماليق وقومه بحد السيف
13 (B21) Tak Jozue porazil Amaleka i jeho lid mečem.

14 (KJV) And the LORD said unto Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: for I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.
14 (SVD) فقال الرب لموسى اكتب هذا تذكارا في الكتاب وضعه في مسامع يشوع. فاني سوف امحو ذكر عماليق من تحت السماء.
14 (B21) Hospodin potom Mojžíšovi řekl: "Zapiš to na památku do knihy a vštěpuj Jozuovi, že Amalekovu památku naprosto vyhladím zpod nebe."

15 (KJV) And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it Jehovah-nissi:
15 (SVD) فبنى موسى مذبحا ودعا اسمه يهوه نسّي.
15 (B21) Tehdy Mojžíš postavil oltář a nazval jej "Hospodin je má korouhev."

16 (KJV) For he said, Because the LORD hath sworn that the LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.
16 (SVD) وقال ان اليد على كرسي الرب. للرب حرب مع عماليق من دور الى دور
16 (B21) Řekl totiž: "Ruka nad Hospodinovým trůnem dosvědčuje Hospodinův boj proti Amalekovi až do posledního pokolení."

Verš 2

Wherefore the people did chide with Moses, and said, Give us water that we may drink. And Moses said unto them, Why chide ye with me? wherefore do ye tempt the LORD?

Nm 20:3 - And the people chode with Moses, and spake, saying, Would God that we had died when our brethren died before the LORD!

Verš 5

And the LORD said unto Moses, Go on before the people, and take with thee of the elders of Israel; and thy rod, wherewith thou smotest the river, take in thine hand, and go.

Ex 7:20 - And Moses and Aaron did so, as the LORD commanded; and he lifted up the rod, and smote the waters that were in the river, in the sight of Pharaoh, and in the sight of his servants; and all the waters that were in the river were turned to blood.

Verš 6

Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.

Nm 20:9 - And Moses took the rod from before the LORD, as he commanded him.

Ž 78:15 - He clave the rocks in the wilderness, and gave them drink as out of the great depths.

Ž 114:8 - Which turned the rock into a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters.

1Kor 10:4 - And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

Verš 8

Then came Amalek, and fought with Israel in Rephidim.

Dt 25:17 - Remember what Amalek did unto thee by the way, when ye were come forth out of Egypt;

Verš 14

And the LORD said unto Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: for I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.

Nm 24:20 - And when he looked on Amalek, he took up his parable, and said, Amalek was the first of the nations; but his latter end shall be that he perish for ever.

Dt 25:17 - Remember what Amalek did unto thee by the way, when ye were come forth out of Egypt;

1Sam 15:2 - Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt.

Verš 16

For he said, Because the LORD hath sworn that the LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.

Ex 17,1 - Rafidim sa považuje za totožné s údolím Feiranským, kde je veľká oáza. Iní však dávajú prednosť rovine Er-Raha, ktorá sa stelie pred severozápadným výbežkom stredného chrbáta Sinajského horstva, na úpätí Džebel Músa (Mojžišova Hora).

Ex 17,7 - Massáh ,pokúšanie', Meríbáh ,vadenie'.

Ex 17,8 - O Amalekitoch pozri Gn 14,7; pozn. Nm 24,20. Amalekiti obývali severnú časť Sinajského polostrova a južný kraj Kanaánu. Skutočnosť, že sa teraz nachodia na juhu Sinajského polostrova, dá sa vari vysvetliť tým, že hľadali pastvu na vyššie položených stráňach Sinajských vrchov. Možné je aj to, že nejaký kmeň sa osadil hodne južnejšie od ostatných.

Ex 17,10 - Hur bol Kalebovým synom, teda potomkom Júdovým (1 Krn 2,18–20).

Ex 17,14 - Porov. Dt 25,19; 1 Sam 15,3; 27,8 atď.
