1 (HEM) ויאמר יהוה אל משה בא אל פרעה כי אני הכבדתי את לבו ואת לב עבדיו למען שתי אתתי אלה בקרבו׃
1 (KAT) Potom Pán povedal Mojžišovi: „Choď k faraónovi, lebo ja som mu zatvrdil srdce, aj jeho služobníkom, aby som na ňom urobil tieto svoje znamenia
1 (UKJV) And the LORD said unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh: for I have hardened his heart, and the heart of his servants, that I might show these my signs before him:

2 (HEM) ולמען תספר באזני בנך ובן בנך את אשר התעללתי במצרים ואת אתתי אשר שמתי בם וידעתם כי אני יהוה׃
2 (KAT) a aby si rozprával svojim deťom a vnukom, čo som vykonal Egypťanom, aké znamenia som na nich robil, aby ste vedeli, že ja som Pán.“
2 (UKJV) "And that you may tell in the ears of your son, and of your son's son, what things I have wrought in Egypt, and my signs which I have done among them; that all of you may know how that I am the LORD. "

3 (HEM) ויבא משה ואהרן אל פרעה ויאמרו אליו כה אמר יהוה אלהי העברים עד מתי מאנת לענת מפני שלח עמי ויעבדני׃
3 (KAT) Mojžiš a Áron išli k faraónovi a hovorili mu: „Toto povedal Pán, Boh Hebrejov: »Dokedy sa budeš zdráhať pokoriť sa mi? Prepusť môj ľud, aby mi slúžil!
3 (UKJV) And Moses and Aaron came in unto Pharaoh, and said unto him, Thus says the LORD God of the Hebrews, How long will you refuse to humble yourself before me? let my people go, that they may serve me.

4 (HEM) כי אם מאן אתה לשלח את עמי הנני מביא מחר ארבה בגבלך׃
4 (KAT) Lebo ak sa budeš zdráhať prepustiť môj ľud, zajtra privediem do tvojho kraja kobylky.
4 (UKJV) Else, if you refuse to let my people go, behold, tomorrow will I bring the locusts into your coast:

5 (HEM) וכסה את עין הארץ ולא יוכל לראת את הארץ ואכל את יתר הפלטה הנשארת לכם מן הברד ואכל את כל העץ הצמח לכם מן השדה׃
5 (KAT) Ony tak pokryjú povrch zeme, že nebude možno vidieť zem a zožerú zvyšok toho, čo sa zachránilo a zostalo po ľadovci, a poobžierajú všetky stromy, ktoré rastú na vašom poli.
5 (UKJV) And they shall cover the face of the earth, that one cannot be able to see the earth: and they shall eat the residue of that which is escaped, which remains unto you from the hail, and shall eat every tree which grows for you out of the field:

6 (HEM) ומלאו בתיך ובתי כל עבדיך ובתי כל מצרים אשר לא ראו אבתיך ואבות אבתיך מיום היותם על האדמה עד היום הזה ויפן ויצא מעם פרעה׃
6 (KAT) Ba naplnia aj tvoje domy a domy všetkých tvojich služobníkov i všetkých Egypťanov tak, ako to tvoji otcovia a tvoji dedovia nezažili odvtedy, čo boli na zemi, až po dnešný deň.«“ Potom sa obrátil a odišiel od faraóna.
6 (UKJV) "And they shall fill your houses, and the houses of all your servants, and the houses of all the Egyptians; which neither your fathers, nor your fathers' fathers have seen, since the day that they were upon the earth unto this day. And he turned himself, and went out from Pharaoh. "

7 (HEM) ויאמרו עבדי פרעה אליו עד מתי יהיה זה לנו למוקש שלח את האנשים ויעבדו את יהוה אלהיהם הטרם תדע כי אבדה מצרים׃
7 (KAT) Tu vraveli služobníci faraónovi: „Dokedy nám tento bude na nešťastie? Prepusť ľud, nech slúži Pánovi. Či nevidíš, že Egypt sa rúti do záhuby?“
7 (UKJV) And Pharaoh's servants said unto him, How long shall this man be a snare unto us? let the men go, that they may serve the LORD their God: know you not yet that Egypt is destroyed?

8 (HEM) ויושב את משה ואת אהרן אל פרעה ויאמר אלהם לכו עבדו את יהוה אלהיכם מי ומי ההלכים׃
8 (KAT) I vrátili Mojžiša a Árona k faraónovi a on im povedal: „Choďte, uctite si Pána, svojho Boha! Ktorí sú to však, čo majú odísť?“
8 (UKJV) And Moses and Aaron were brought again unto Pharaoh: and he said unto them, Go, serve the LORD your God: but who are they that shall go?

9 (HEM) ויאמר משה בנערינו ובזקנינו נלך בבנינו ובבנותנו בצאננו ובבקרנו נלך כי חג יהוה לנו׃
9 (KAT) Mojžiš odvetil: „Odídeme so svojimi deťmi a starcami, odídeme so svojimi synmi a dcérami, so svojimi ovcami a dobytkom, lebo máme sviatok Pána.“
9 (UKJV) "And Moses said, We will go with our young and with our old, with our sons and with our daughters, with our flocks and with our herds will we go; for we must hold a feast unto the LORD. "

10 (HEM) ויאמר אלהם יהי כן יהוה עמכם כאשר אשלח אתכם ואת טפכם ראו כי רעה נגד פניכם׃
10 (KAT) Tu im on povedal: „Nech je tak s vami Boh, ako vás ja nechám odísť s vašimi deťmi! Pozrite, vy máte niečo zlé za lubom!
10 (UKJV) "And he said unto them, Let the LORD be so with you, as I will let you go, and your little ones: look to it; for evil is before you. "

11 (HEM) לא כן לכו נא הגברים ועבדו את יהוה כי אתה אתם מבקשים ויגרש אתם מאת פני פרעה׃
11 (KAT) Nestane sa tak! Vy, mužovia, môžete ísť a slúžte Pánovi, veď to bola vaša žiadosť!“ A nato ich vyhnali od faraóna.
11 (UKJV) "Not so: go now all of you that are men, and serve the LORD; for that all of you did desire. And they were driven out from Pharaoh's presence. "

12 (HEM) ויאמר יהוה אל משה נטה ידך על ארץ מצרים בארבה ויעל על ארץ מצרים ויאכל את כל עשב הארץ את כל אשר השאיר הברד׃
12 (KAT) Tu rozkázal Pán Mojžišovi: „Vystri ruku ponad egyptskú krajinu ku kobylkám, aby sa dostavili na egyptskú zem a aby zožrali všetky rastliny v krajine, všetko, čo ešte ponechal ľadovec.“
12 (UKJV) And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out your hand over the land of Egypt for the locusts, that they may come up upon the land of Egypt, and eat every herb of the land, even all that the hail has left.

13 (HEM) ויט משה את מטהו על ארץ מצרים ויהוה נהג רוח קדים בארץ כל היום ההוא וכל הלילה הבקר היה ורוח הקדים נשא את הארבה׃
13 (KAT) A Mojžiš vystrel svoju palicu nad egyptskú krajinu. Tu Pán dal duť nad krajinou východnému vetru celý deň a celú noc a keď nastalo ráno, východný vietor doniesol kobylky.
13 (UKJV) "And Moses stretched forth his rod over the land of Egypt, and the LORD brought an east wind upon the land all that day, and all that night; and when it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts. "

14 (HEM) ויעל הארבה על כל ארץ מצרים וינח בכל גבול מצרים כבד מאד לפניו לא היה כן ארבה כמהו ואחריו לא יהיה כן׃
14 (KAT) Tak prišli kobylky na celú egyptskú krajinu a zniesli sa vo všetkých končinách Egypta v ohromnom množstve. Nikdy predtým (tam) nebolo toľko kobyliek, ako bolo týchto, a nikdy tam toľko ani po nich nebude.
14 (UKJV) "And the locust went up over all the land of Egypt, and rested in all the coasts of Egypt: very grievous were they; before them there were no such locusts as they, neither after them shall be such. "

15 (HEM) ויכס את עין כל הארץ ותחשך הארץ ויאכל את כל עשב הארץ ואת כל פרי העץ אשר הותיר הברד ולא נותר כל ירק בעץ ובעשב השדה בכל ארץ מצרים׃
15 (KAT) Pokryli povrch celej krajiny, až sa v krajine zotmelo. Zožrali všetky poľné byliny a všetko ovocie na stromoch, čo zostalo po ľadovci, takže v celej egyptskej krajine nezostalo ani zeleného lístka na stromoch a na poľných rastlinách.
15 (UKJV) "For they covered the face of the whole earth, so that the land was darkened; and they did eat every herb of the land, and all the fruit of the trees which the hail had left: and there remained not any green thing in the trees, or in the herbs of the field, through all the land of Egypt. "

16 (HEM) וימהר פרעה לקרא למשה ולאהרן ויאמר חטאתי ליהוה אלהיכם ולכם׃
16 (KAT) I poponáhľal sa faraón zavolať Mojžiša a Árona a povedal: „Zhrešil som proti Pánovi, vášmu Bohu, aj proti vám!
16 (UKJV) "Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron in haste; and he said, I have sinned against the LORD your God, and against you. "

17 (HEM) ועתה שא נא חטאתי אך הפעם והעתירו ליהוה אלהיכם ויסר מעלי רק את המות הזה׃
17 (KAT) A teraz mi ešte tentoraz odpusťte môj hriech a proste Pána, svojho Boha, aby odvrátil odo mňa aspoň toto smrtiace nebezpečenstvo!“
17 (UKJV) Now therefore forgive, I pray you, my sin only this once, and implore the LORD your God, that he may take away from me this death only.

18 (HEM) ויצא מעם פרעה ויעתר אל יהוה׃
18 (KAT) Mojžiš teda odišiel od faraóna a orodoval u Pána.
18 (UKJV) And he went out from Pharaoh, and implored the LORD.

19 (HEM) ויהפך יהוה רוח ים חזק מאד וישא את הארבה ויתקעהו ימה סוף לא נשאר ארבה אחד בכל גבול מצרים׃
19 (KAT) A Pán dal duť silnému vetru od Stredozemného mora, ktorý kobylky odniesol a vrhol ich do Červeného mora. Na celom území Egypta neostalo ani jednej kobylky.
19 (UKJV) "And the LORD turned a mighty strong west wind, which took away the locusts, and cast them into the Red sea; there remained not one locust in all the coasts of Egypt. "

20 (HEM) ויחזק יהוה את לב פרעה ולא שלח את בני ישראל׃
20 (KAT) Ale Pán zatvrdil faraónovo srdce a on neprepustil Izraelitov.
20 (UKJV) But the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart, so that he would not let the children of Israel go.

21 (HEM) ויאמר יהוה אל משה נטה ידך על השמים ויהי חשך על ארץ מצרים וימש חשך׃
21 (KAT) Potom Pán povedal Mojžišovi: „Vystri ruku oproti nebu, aby na celú egyptskú krajinu doľahla tma; taká tma, že ju možno nahmatať!“
21 (UKJV) And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out your hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt.

22 (HEM) ויט משה את ידו על השמים ויהי חשך אפלה בכל ארץ מצרים שלשת ימים׃
22 (KAT) I vystrel Mojžiš ruku k nebu a v celej egyptskej krajine nastala hustá trojdňová tma.
22 (UKJV) "And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days: "

23 (HEM) לא ראו איש את אחיו ולא קמו איש מתחתיו שלשת ימים ולכל בני ישראל היה אור במושבתם׃
23 (KAT) Nik nevidel druhého a tri dni sa nemohol nik pohnúť zo svojho miesta. Izraeliti však mali všetci svetlo vo svojich príbytkoch.
23 (UKJV) They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.

24 (HEM) ויקרא פרעה אל משה ויאמר לכו עבדו את יהוה רק צאנכם ובקרכם יצג גם טפכם ילך עמכם׃
24 (KAT) Tu dal faraón zavolať Mojžiša a Árona a povedal im: „Odíďte, slúžte Pánovi! Len vaše ovce a váš dobytok nech tu zostanú. Aj vaše deti nech idú s vami!“
24 (UKJV) "And Pharaoh called unto Moses, and said, Go all of you, serve the LORD; only let your flocks and your herds be stayed: let your little ones also go with you. "

25 (HEM) ויאמר משה גם אתה תתן בידנו זבחים ועלות ועשינו ליהוה אלהינו׃
25 (KAT) Mojžiš však odvetil: „Musíš nám dať aj na zápalné a na celostné obety, aby sme ich priniesli Pánovi, nášmu Bohu.
25 (UKJV) And Moses said, You must give us also sacrifices and burnt offerings, that we may sacrifice unto the LORD our God.

26 (HEM) וגם מקננו ילך עמנו לא תשאר פרסה כי ממנו נקח לעבד את יהוה אלהינו ואנחנו לא נדע מה נעבד את יהוה עד באנו שמה׃
26 (KAT) My zoberieme svoj dobytok, nezostane tu ani kopyta, lebo my musíme z neho vybrať, aby sme tak slúžili Pánovi; a ani sami nevieme, čím máme slúžiť Pánovi, kým ta nedôjdeme.“
26 (UKJV) "Our cattle also shall go with us; there shall not an hoof be left behind; for thereof must we take to serve the LORD our God; and we know not with what we must serve the LORD, until we come thither. "

27 (HEM) ויחזק יהוה את לב פרעה ולא אבה לשלחם׃
27 (KAT) Tu Pán zatvrdil faraónovo srdce a on ich nechcel prepustiť.
27 (UKJV) But the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart, and he would not let them go.

28 (HEM) ויאמר לו פרעה לך מעלי השמר לך אל תסף ראות פני כי ביום ראתך פני תמות׃
28 (KAT) Ba faraón povedal Mojžišovi: „Prac sa odo mňa! A neopováž sa viac prísť mi na oči! Lebo keď sa mi ukážeš na oči, budeš synom smrti!“
28 (UKJV) "And Pharaoh said unto him, Get you from me, take heed to yourself, see my face no more; for in that day you see my face you shall die. "

29 (HEM) ויאמר משה כן דברת לא אסף עוד ראות פניך׃
29 (KAT) A Mojžiš odvetil: „Nech je tak, ako si povedal, už sa viac neukážem pred tebou!“
29 (UKJV) And Moses said, You have spoken well, I will see your face again no more.
