Kniha Exodus

1 (UKJV) And the LORD said unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh: for I have hardened his heart, and the heart of his servants, that I might show these my signs before him:
1 (ROH) A Hospodin riekol Mojžišovi: Vojdi k faraonovi, lebo ja som zatvrdil jeho srdce i srdce jeho služobníkov, aby som učinil tieto svoje znamenia v jeho strede,

2 (UKJV) "And that you may tell in the ears of your son, and of your son's son, what things I have wrought in Egypt, and my signs which I have done among them; that all of you may know how that I am the LORD. "
2 (ROH) a aby si rozprával v uši svojho syna a svojho vnuka to, čo som vykonal v Egypte, a moje znamenia, ktoré som učinil na nich, aby ste vedeli, že ja som Hospodin.

3 (UKJV) And Moses and Aaron came in unto Pharaoh, and said unto him, Thus says the LORD God of the Hebrews, How long will you refuse to humble yourself before me? let my people go, that they may serve me.
3 (ROH) A tak vošiel Mojžiš a Áron k faraonovi, a riekli mu: Takto hovorí Hospodin, Bôh Hebrejov: Dokedy sa nebudeš chcieť pokoriť predo mnou? Prepusti môj ľud, aby mi slúžili!

4 (UKJV) Else, if you refuse to let my people go, behold, tomorrow will I bring the locusts into your coast:
4 (ROH) Lebo ak nebudeš chcieť prepustiť môj ľud, hľa, zajtra dovediem kobylky na tvoju krajinu.

5 (UKJV) And they shall cover the face of the earth, that one cannot be able to see the earth: and they shall eat the residue of that which is escaped, which remains unto you from the hail, and shall eat every tree which grows for you out of the field:
5 (ROH) A pokryjú povrch zeme, takže nebude možné vidieť zem, a požerú ostatné, čo uniklo, to, čo vám pozostalo po ľadovci, a obžerú všetky stromy, ktoré vám pučia na poli.

6 (UKJV) "And they shall fill your houses, and the houses of all your servants, and the houses of all the Egyptians; which neither your fathers, nor your fathers' fathers have seen, since the day that they were upon the earth unto this day. And he turned himself, and went out from Pharaoh. "
6 (ROH) A naplnia sa tvoje domy a domy všetkých tvojich služobníkov a domy všetkých Egypťanov, čoho nevideli tvoji otcovia ani otcovia tvojich otcov odo dňa, od ktorého len boli kedy ktorí alebo sú na zemi, až do tohoto dňa. A obrátiac sa vyšiel od faraona.

7 (UKJV) And Pharaoh's servants said unto him, How long shall this man be a snare unto us? let the men go, that they may serve the LORD their God: know you not yet that Egypt is destroyed?
7 (ROH) A služobníci faraonovi povedali jemu, faraonovi: Dokedy nám bude tento osídlom? Prepusti tých ľudí, aby slúžili Hospodinovi, svojmu Bohu. Či ešte nevieš, že zhynul Egypt?

8 (UKJV) And Moses and Aaron were brought again unto Pharaoh: and he said unto them, Go, serve the LORD your God: but who are they that shall go?
8 (ROH) A tak bol vrátený Mojžiš a Áron k faraonovi, ktorý im povedal: Iďte, slúžte Hospodinovi, svojmu Bohu! Kto sú to všetci, ktorí pojdú?

9 (UKJV) "And Moses said, We will go with our young and with our old, with our sons and with our daughters, with our flocks and with our herds will we go; for we must hold a feast unto the LORD. "
9 (ROH) A Mojžiš riekol: Všetci pojdeme, mladí i starí, naši synovia i naše dcéry; so svojím drobným stádom a so svojím dobytkom pojdeme, lebo máme slávnosť Hospodinovu.

10 (UKJV) "And he said unto them, Let the LORD be so with you, as I will let you go, and your little ones: look to it; for evil is before you. "
10 (ROH) A on im povedal: Nech je tak Hospodin s vami, jako vás ja prepustím i vaše drobné deti. Hľaďte, lebo je zlé pred vašou tvárou.

11 (UKJV) "Not so: go now all of you that are men, and serve the LORD; for that all of you did desire. And they were driven out from Pharaoh's presence. "
11 (ROH) Nie tak, ale nože iďte vy mužovia samotní a slúžte Hospodinovi; lebo veď to hľadáte. A zahnali ich od tvári faraonovej.

12 (UKJV) And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out your hand over the land of Egypt for the locusts, that they may come up upon the land of Egypt, and eat every herb of the land, even all that the hail has left.
12 (ROH) A Hospodin riekol Mojžišovi: Vystri svoju ruku na Egyptskú zem pre kobylky, aby vyšly na Egyptskú zem a požerú všetku bylinu zeme, všetko, čo ešte zanechal ľadovec.

13 (UKJV) "And Moses stretched forth his rod over the land of Egypt, and the LORD brought an east wind upon the land all that day, and all that night; and when it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts. "
13 (ROH) Vtedy vztiahol Mojžiš svoju palicu na Egyptskú zem, a Hospodin hnal východný vietor na zem celý ten deň i celú noc. A keď bolo ráno, doniesol východný vietor kobylky.

14 (UKJV) "And the locust went up over all the land of Egypt, and rested in all the coasts of Egypt: very grievous were they; before them there were no such locusts as they, neither after them shall be such. "
14 (ROH) A kobylky vyšly na celú zem Egyptskú a spustily sa na všetky kraje Egypta v náramne veľkom množstve. Nebolo nikdy predtým takého množstva kobyliek ako to, ani po nich viacej takého nebude.

15 (UKJV) "For they covered the face of the whole earth, so that the land was darkened; and they did eat every herb of the land, and all the fruit of the trees which the hail had left: and there remained not any green thing in the trees, or in the herbs of the field, through all the land of Egypt. "
15 (ROH) A pokryly povrch celej zeme, takže sa zatemnila zem, a požraly všetku bylinu zeme i všetko ovocie stromov, ktoré bol zanechal ľadovec, a nepozostalo ničoho zeleného ani na stromoch ani na poľných bylinách v celej zemi Egyptskej.

16 (UKJV) "Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron in haste; and he said, I have sinned against the LORD your God, and against you. "
16 (ROH) Vtedy sa ponáhľal faraon zavolať Mojžiša a Árona a povedal: Zhrešil som proti Hospodinovi, vášmu Bohu, i proti vám.

17 (UKJV) Now therefore forgive, I pray you, my sin only this once, and implore the LORD your God, that he may take away from me this death only.
17 (ROH) A tak teraz odpusť, prosím, môj hriech už len tento raz, a modlite sa Hospodinovi, svojmu Bohu, žeby odstránil odo mňa len ešte túto smrť.

18 (UKJV) And he went out from Pharaoh, and implored the LORD.
18 (ROH) A vyšiel od faraona a modlil sa Hospodinovi.

19 (UKJV) "And the LORD turned a mighty strong west wind, which took away the locusts, and cast them into the Red sea; there remained not one locust in all the coasts of Egypt. "
19 (ROH) A Hospodin obrátil západný vietor, od mora, veľmi silný, ktorý odniesol kobylky a vrhol ich do Červeného mora. Nezostalo ani jedinej kobylky vo všetkých krajoch Egypta.

20 (UKJV) But the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart, so that he would not let the children of Israel go.
20 (ROH) Ale Hospodin zatvrdil srdce faraonovo, a neprepustil synov Izraelových.

21 (UKJV) And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out your hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt.
21 (ROH) A Hospodin riekol Mojžišovi: Vystri svoju ruku k nebesiam, a bude taká tma na Egyptskej zemi, že ju budú môcť nahmatať.

22 (UKJV) "And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days: "
22 (ROH) Vtedy vystrel Mojžiš svoju ruku k nebesiam, a povstala hustá tma po celej zemi Egyptskej, ktorá trvala tri dni.

23 (UKJV) They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.
23 (ROH) Nevideli jeden druhého, ani nepovstal nikto zo svojho miesta ani sa nepohol za tri dni, ale všetci synovia Izraelovi mali svetlo vo svojich bydliskách.

24 (UKJV) "And Pharaoh called unto Moses, and said, Go all of you, serve the LORD; only let your flocks and your herds be stayed: let your little ones also go with you. "
24 (ROH) Tu zavolal faraon Mojžiša a povedal: Iďte, slúžte Hospodinovi, len svoje drobné stádo a svoj dobytok zanechajte tu. I vaše deti nech idú a vami!

25 (UKJV) And Moses said, You must give us also sacrifices and burnt offerings, that we may sacrifice unto the LORD our God.
25 (ROH) Ale Mojžiš riekol: Nie, ale i sám dáš bitné obeti a zápaly do našej ruky, aby sme obetovali Hospodinovi, svojmu Bohu.

26 (UKJV) "Our cattle also shall go with us; there shall not an hoof be left behind; for thereof must we take to serve the LORD our God; and we know not with what we must serve the LORD, until we come thither. "
26 (ROH) Aj náš dobytok pojde s nami. Nezostane tu ani kopyta, lebo z toho vezmeme, aby sme slúžili Hospodinovi, svojmu Bohu. A my ani nevieme, čím budeme slúžiť Hospodinovi, dokiaľ ta neprijdeme.

27 (UKJV) But the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart, and he would not let them go.
27 (ROH) Ale Hospodin zatvrdil srdce faraonovo, a nechcel ich prepustiť.

28 (UKJV) "And Pharaoh said unto him, Get you from me, take heed to yourself, see my face no more; for in that day you see my face you shall die. "
28 (ROH) A faraon mu povedal: Idi odo mňa! Chráň sa, aby si viacej nevidel mojej tvári. Lebo toho dňa, ktorého by si uvidel moju tvár, zomrieš.

29 (UKJV) And Moses said, You have spoken well, I will see your face again no more.
29 (ROH) Na to odpovedal Mojžiš: Pravdu si povedal: neuvidím viacej tvojej tvári.
