Žalmy

1 (KJV) The LORD reigneth; let the people tremble: he sitteth between the cherubims; let the earth be moved.
1 (KAT) Pán kraľuje, traste sa, národy; tróni nad cherubmi, chvej sa, zem.

2 (KJV) The LORD is great in Zion; and he is high above all the people.
2 (KAT) Veľký je Pán na Sione, a vyvýšený nad všetky národy.

3 (KJV) Let them praise thy great and terrible name; for it is holy.
3 (KAT) Oslavujte jeho meno veľké a úžasné, lebo je sväté.

4 (KJV) The king's strength also loveth judgment; thou dost establish equity, thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob.
4 (KAT) Mocný kráľ spravodlivosť miluje: ty si ustanovil, čo je správne, právo a spravodlivosť v Jakubovi ty vysluhuješ.

5 (KJV) Exalt ye the LORD our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.
5 (KAT) Velebte Pána, nášho Boha, a padnite k jeho nohám, lebo je svätý.

6 (KJV) Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the LORD, and he answered them.
6 (KAT) Mojžiš a Áron, jeho kňazi, a Samuel, ctiteľ jeho mena, vzývali Pána a on ich vypočul,

7 (KJV) He spake unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them.
7 (KAT) z oblačného stĺpa k nim hovoril. A zachovávali jeho svedectvo a prikázania, ktoré im dal.

8 (KJV) Thou answeredst them, O LORD our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions.
8 (KAT) Pane, Bože náš, ty si ich vypočul, Bože, ty si bol k nim milostivý, no nenechal si bez trestu ich priestupky.

9 (KJV) Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the LORD our God is holy.
9 (KAT) Velebte Pána, nášho Boha, na jeho svätom vrchu sa mu klaňajte, lebo svätý je Pán, Boh náš.
