1 (VUL) Dominus regnavit! Exsultet terra, laetentur insulae multae.
1 (UKJV) "The LORD reigns; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof. "
2 (VUL) Nubes et caligo in circuitu eius, iustitia et iudicium firmamentum sedis eius.
2 (UKJV) Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and judgment are the habitation of his throne.
3 (VUL) Ignis ante ipsum praecedet et inflammabit in circuitu inimicos eius.

10 (VUL) Qui diligitis Dominum, odite malum; custodit ipse animas sanctorum suorum, de manu peccatoris liberabit eos.
10 (UKJV) "All of you that love the LORD, hate evil: he perserves the souls of his saints; he delivers them out of the hand of the wicked. "
11 (VUL) Lux orta est iusto, et rectis corde laetitia.
11 (UKJV) Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.
12 (VUL) Laetamini, iusti, in Domino et confitemini memoriae sanctitatis eius.

Dominus regnavit! Exsultet terra, laetentur insulae multae.
Ž 93:1 - Dominus regnavit! Decorem indutus est; indutus est Dominus, fortitudine praecinxit se. Etenim firmavit orbem terrae, qui non commovebitur.
Ž 96:10 - dicite in gentibus: “ Dominus regnavit! ”. Etenim correxit orbem terrae, qui non commovebitur; iudicabit populos in aequitate.

Qui diligitis Dominum, odite malum; custodit ipse animas sanctorum suorum, de manu peccatoris liberabit eos.

Illustrarunt fulgura eius orbem terrae: vidit et contremuit terra.
Zjv 4:5 - Et de throno procedunt fulgura et voces et tonitrua; et septem lampades ignis ardentes ante thronum, quae sunt septem spiritus Dei;
Ž 77:16 - Redemisti in brachio tuo populum tuum, filios Iacob et Ioseph.

Annuntiaverunt caeli iustitiam eius, et viderunt omnes populi gloriam eius.

Ž 50:6 - Et annuntiabunt caeli iustitiam eius, quoniam Deus iudex est.
Z 97 - Autor Listu Hebrejom 7. verš tohto žalmu cituje podľa gréckej osnovy a dokazuje nim božstvo Ježiša Krista (Hebr 1,6). Žalm je tiež prorocký a opisuje príchod Božieho kráľovstva.
Z 97,1 - Pohnútkou k tejto všeobecnej radosti je príchod Pána v mesiášskych časoch, príchod Kráľa a Sudcu všetkých národov a všetkých končín sveta (Iz 42,10; 51,5).
Z 97,8 - "Dcéry Júdove" je hebraizmus a označuje všetky mestá a dediny júdskeho kráľovstva. A keďže Sion je stredobodom univerzálneho mesiášskeho kráľovstva, znázorňujú svetovú všeobecnosť.
